Good family fun

Alanna Lutz

We had a blast with our two little kids here! Easily spent 5 hours without getting bored. Wished we had more energy to stay longer!

Serg P.

Really nice place to spend time with the family. The chlorine may be a bit strong. Very clean and pleasant environment. The water is kept at a nice temperature.

Crazy James Waikle

A little pricey but still fun. Would be nice if the locker was included in the entry fee. Other then that, not bad

Stephan Gardner

Waterpark is great! Wouldn't eat the food provided though (2021).

Miki Nyckel

Awesome park. Maybe a little expensive but they definitely look after the upkeep. Everything is well maintained and modern. Family friendly and loads of fun. No one will be bored for even a minute. We didn't experience any lineups during the week. Worth the trip!

Arnica Lau

It is fun fun fun. The staff are great and very attentive in making sure everyone is following the safety procedures. We were there from 3-6pm (cheaper admission) and the time went by so fast! They have a two rides that are closed but Nevertheless, it was definitely worth the money. The downside is that once you get inside, you will still need to pay for a locker and they are not cheap… coming in at a cost of $10 but allows you to have unlimited access to your locker.

Cassandra Wicks

Waterpark was alot of fun. Wave pool was the best! Pretty expensive tho. Food at the concession was way over priced for what you get. Pizza was terrible

Наталья Кошик

Worth visiting, especially impressed with pool and waves!

Elai Idpan

the wave pool was exciting, even for a grown up. most slides did not require a tube, however if you really want to, there is rent for those. the lockers are not included in the $51 Cad entrance fee, and the band/tags were good enough to withstand a whole day of use. there is a concesionare inside and the snack prices are fair. multiple safety life guards around the pools and guides are in each sliding feature. it also have a zip line, at a different fee again. there is no drying box like in most pools, waterparks, and hotsprings i have visited, yes, we looked and asked the maintenance crew, there isn't one, so make sure to have a plastic bag for the wet suits. the changing area is also not evenly lit, and quite small to conveniently sit down or step up to change to your dry clothes. and am not even big, yet I find it confined. frequent maintenance crew is there keeping the water on walk ways dry, and the snack area free of clutter. We visited on a weekday, so I am not fully sure if my observations still apply on weekends, when I assume it is busier. to me, just my opinion, it is not worth my 50 bucks + all the add-ons, and even though there are packaged tickets, i still find it expensive.

Let's try the waves! It was so exciting that I lost my glasses here last time. Want to be back again!

S K

Clean change rooms, clean pools, clean slides, clean walking area. First time here, will definitely go back.

Mike Sczesny

Great way to escape winter. So much fun.

amani dafer

Paid 200$ for no place to sit!! Should be a restriction on the number pf people going inside but with booking you can’t find a place to sit!!

celetops

Over the past years as far as I remember, this place has been changing from time to time. But over the years it has grown and has been keeping up the dates and its water slides. However it can be scary from time to time when I see the old rust on the water slides, but it can give ya extra boost if your into need for speed type of folks. Above all else, this place offers great fun, great times and experience to those who are new to Canada and our home country of Alberta. The staff are excellent at there jobs, and so is everything else. Bottom line is a great place to be for summer or even winter times. The best part of this operation I find it very handy is a the free soda machines that are lurking about ^^

Bum

It's usually really busy, and the water isn't the cleanest, but it's really fun to watch your friends scream as they fly down the slides.

SCMM Lamarre

Even though they had to shut the wave pool down because of glass for more than an hour. It was still a great time. The wait times for the slides were as expected. The staff were friendly. The food was decent.

FlipCan

Always fun! Great for the family.

Sarah J. Aube

I went on a week day, the place was almost empty. Zero line ups for slides. Very warm inside and the sunshine felt amazing through the windows. I missed out of the wave rider tjo, and some of the big attraction thrill rides weren't open due to low attendance but certainly a great day none the less.

Guantanamera Pineda

We went over the holidays and had lots of fun. I am giving it 3 stars because they run out of inflatables around noon, so they only had a few available. The same thing happened with the double and triple tubes for the slide. They only had around 7, so the lineup to get one of those to be able to use the slide was around 1h. There were hundreds of people there, so if they are doing that because of Covid I understand; however, those big lineups are even worse.

Crazy Chick #2

An Edmonton treasure. Bring water bottles, locker change and you don't want to pay for a new bathing suit. Even bring 2 each in case of wardrobe malfunction ruining your fun. There is something for everyone. Bring dry towel to wrap exhausted todlers for a midday nap.

Richard Russell

Good but a couple minor complaints. I'll start with the good: Coke Freestyle with cups was provided at no additional cost. The wave pool is comfortable and fun. The slides are really good, Perhaps the best you'll find. The bad: The lockers cost $8 to $13. That's gouging and you know it. Secondly, The hot tub and indoor temperature was too high.. 31.5°c in a humid indoor pool setting is a bit too much. Also, for the price, there should be an elevator or something to get to the very top of the slides. It just seems cheap having to climb all the way to the top for $50+

Samantha Mitchell

The waterpark is fun for sure, just wish they wouldn't allow inner tubes in the wave pool, they can seriously injure someone.

Jaime Valero

Awesome. Thursday visit from noon till 6pm so it wasn't busy at all and I got to pay the lower entry price (I really appreciate the park giving this option for weekdays). First time at world waterpark. The entire place is very clean and organized. Lockers for rent in the changing rooms are opened by scanning a wristband, so no need to worry about losing the key. There are a couple of spots that sell food for when taking a quick break. There is a kiosk with pop fountain machines - - free of charge!! - - to reload all those calories lost through the constant stair climbing. And the most important thing: the rides. Every single one was awesome. Beginner rides are suitable for parents with small children. Intermediate and advanced rides offer a pretty good combination of speed and turns. Extreme rides are fast, starting in a capsule with an opening floor that puts you in an almost vertical drop. This place was a lot of fun. A great way to spend the day. I look forward to my next visit.

Damiardo

I went here today just to see it one last time before the next lockdown. This was one of those places I would look forward to visiting. It was always exciting, entertaining and memorable. I conquered my fear of falling there doing the bungee jump while playing hooky from work a decade ago. I went to my first real rave here less than a year ago. It's a shame to see what the lockdown has done to so many things, especially a place like this, that gave us a taste of vacation without having to leave the city. Thank you for all the good times WEM Waterpark, I pray you survive and that I get to stand on your fake, but warm shores again, someday.

Marshall Dyck

Great time for the whole family and plenty for all to do and slides are fun. There is large play areas for the kids and even several slide ovens. Only small complaint would be that the one kids play area/splash play structures water was quite cold in comparison to the rest of the park and as such made it a little more unwelcoming to children.

Charissa Splane

A blast everytime.

Sean McIntyre

Mass disorganization. Long lines and no direction at all as hundreds of people tried to enter the park in time for opening at 11am on a Sunday. Crowds of people trying to navigate water park entry with no stanchions, ropes, or direction for people who were waiting. There was no staff providing directions or instructions. People were lined up belly-to-back, with zero effort or direction to socially distance, in a cramped space with inadequate air circulation. All this as children cried, adults cut in line, while others complained, and no one provided any direction or organization to the situation whatsoever. There was seemingly NO benefit to purchasing our tickets online ahead of time, because we still needed to stand in line for more than 50 minutes to get wristbands in order to enter the change room area. The website stated that the water park opened at 11:00 a.m. but when we arrived at 10:40 there were already people inside, enjoying the water park. It was a terrible way to start our day at the waterpark. There really ought to be more thought and organization to the entrance process; it was a terrible experience. When we finally got inside, the average wait time for each slide was 1 hour. Our group, frustrated and disheartened, gave up by 3pm and left. When we were exiting, there was still dozens of people in the entryway, trying to get in... Still with no direction or organization. It was not a good experience.

Jeff Hayes

Kids enjoyed all the slides. Fun was had by all.

steve giroux

The kids enjoyed it they went two days in a row.

Franco Lee

Kids have blast. It is very expensive but was able to get a detail through a local hotel!

Valynn Seraphin

You should be ashamed of yourselves. We booked tickets (incl buffett) for New Years as our kids "big" Christmas present. To say it's been disappointing would be an understatement. Seating was near impossible and we arrived at 6 when the doors opened! I went to order drinks, waited on line over 10 mins to be told that you don't accept cash (doesn't say this on your tickets or in your FAQ on your site). I was told I needed splash bucks or a debit card and that I would need to come back and go to the back of the line. Wow, really, you can't serve a beer to someone you know already waited over 10 mins..... There was 2 bartenders serving the entire park (not including cabanas) so the wait for drinks was 15+ mins. When I went to guest services to ask to buy splash bucks I was speaking loudly since there was VERY loud music playing when another employee came up and yelled at me telling me she wouldn't tolerate me. FYI, I have a condition that affects my hearing... But, instead of asking me anything she berated me. Then comes the buffett. Turns out it was cancelled without the park notifying anybody. It was now a plated dinner that consisted of; kettle chips (unsalted and no salt or pepper was available), a plain burger patty on a bun or a hotdog (condiment options was ketchup, mustard and relish). A caesar salad that was just lettuce and Parmesan with water puddled in the bottom - not even croutons!! Or a garden salad and lastly some popcorn chicken with no dipping sauce. We could have bought this at the food stand for less than the "buffett" ticket price. Most employees have no idea what's going on. The one serving the salad informed us there was no salad dressing ???? despite it being 10 feet away from him.One employee however was exceptional. I feel so bad for her that she seems to be the only trained employee. Concessions were supposed to be open until 1145 but only one has actually stayed open. I would encourage others to save their hard earned money, this place is far from worth the price.

I've been coming to the West Edmonton Mall (and the delights within, including the World Waterpark) for over 8 of the last 9 years. Dipped into the wavy, warm water many times over those cold, cold winters. Coming from California, there's barely anything more delightful to my senses than coming in from the windy -40 C outside into the mall, and then stepping into the even warmer waterpark! The sound of the lapping water, the shouts of happiness, and the smell of treated pool water is the fastest way to get from Edmonton to the tropics. The waterslides are just fantastic, from the most gentle to the vertical drop, and this is from someone who isn't naturally given to running over to the roller coasters. The World Waterpark is a most effective antidote to those Western Canadian winters! Many an iffy day has been transformed here into something long worth remembering. Perfect for little kids, who get their own kiddie pool, and for groups, don't make the mistake of underestimating how much time you'll want to spend here. Bring a good book, 'cause there's also chaise lounges, which are another way to revel in this joy.

Charlene Dorey

After reviewing the website for tickets prices it says that toddler time tickets were $34.00 exceptions on stat holidays and peak season. When I went to purchase the tickets I was told that toddler time only starts tomorrow. despite the fact the the website said it was available. After a few back and forth conversations the cashier was not going to honor the price. I didn't want to disappoint my granddaughter because we had been planning this adventure for a long time, I agreed the to regular price. The whole time my granddaughter was freezing because it was very cold. I had to keep taking her to the hot tub to warm up. Further more when I got home and reviewed my receipt I realized that I had been overcharged for another person. Very disappointed with West Edmonton Mall water park. I will most likely will not return.

Dwight Trimble

Great waterpark

Silvia Araujo

I love it

Pierce Nadeau

This is a fun place to go. When I went there was not that many people in the pool and it was quite enjoyable. There was plenty of space in the pool to enjoy the massive waves in the pool, and the lines were very short to go to the slides. The only downside was that there were slides that were closed or inaccessible. I was unsure if this was covid related or the timing of the day but some of the slides were not open the entire day, which was a bit of a bummer.

Micheal Martin

Enjoyed the slides the park is fun and all. I spent $150 for myself my mother and my little brother to go for the afternoon. My mother ran into the woman’s change room and purchased a locker pass for us boys since I payed for the day passes. Since the pass was from the woman’s locker room it wouldn’t work in the men’s room. I purchased another locker pass for us and we went about our day. At the end I went to the front counter to ask for a refund on the unused locker pass. Because I didn’t ask for a refund immediately they would not refund me. The locker passes are $8 a piece for a small locker. Very disgusted they would not refund me.

Darin Heninger

My kids and I had a blast. However it completely drained my bank account. I think more effort should be made to make the water park more affordable for large families!

Anna Liska

Excellent cleaning protocols in place with COVID while still maintaining the fun and wonderful atmosphere that is the waterpark! Both our daughters just love every minute here!

Adam Cole

Took my family here to midweek it was totally unbusy did not have to wait to go on any water slide the staff were very courteous and very attentive when It came to cleaning high traffic and high touch areas. I felt very safe here and had lots of family fun!!! We will return again thank you very much. With the craziness of this pandemic it was definitely nice to get out and have some normal family fun

Eth

Great waterpark, expensive to enter, food is not the greatest but is ok to eat, the whole place is kept clean and renovated but the wave pool is a bit dirty

Chris Kallmes

What's not to love about the world's largest indoor water park? The prices are reasonable (we purchased online to save 10%), food isn't too pricey inside, and the lines were never long. Family changing rooms made it easy with the kids. The variety of slides and play areas meant everyone got to have a good time. Haven't been in over a decade and it's even better now.

Leah Sweeney

This place was a fun experience, I recommend renting a poolside cabana when you go there so you actually have a place to put your stuff and a place to sit. The Zip-lining is fun as well as the water ski. All of the watersides are fun and there are slides for every level of experience. The wave pool is something for everybody and the hot tubs are a dream

Ally Kleinsasser

Very well organized, and fun!! Every one in our group really enjoyed the water waves!

Balvinder Kaur

Omg amazing place had so much fun, slides and water waves it was amazing ticket is for around $ 37 till 6 pm but its totally worth free rides and water, drinks, safety jacket swimming in waves but if you don't know how to simm so buy a balloon it was fun must go there it you have chance

Richard Pogue

Only open 4 hours, 35 minutes of which we were in line to enter. Badly organized and very long lines at times. I understand they have limited capacity due to covid but they were obviously under staffed. I would have much preferred to pay a dollar or two extra for them to have more staff to reduce lineups and open more slides. At least 8 slides didn't open at all. This place could be fantastic, instead it annoyed me and fell far short of our expectations.

Amanda Playter

I suspect their chlorine levels were off. My children were all coughing some to the point of vomiting. It was also evident that others were affected too, hearing the occasional person cough. While in line at the first aid to ask for some paper towel to assist her sibling my oldest daughter over heard another Mom complaining of the same symptoms and the attendant commenting on the chlorine levels. I myself was not in the water but developed sore eyes and a cough for more then 24 hours after our visit. The kids still managed to have fun and the staff were friendly, courteous and polite. The admission price high but it has always been. Just highly disappointed with the air quality!

Armeen Budhwani

Its a really nice spot to spend the entire day. All ages are welcomed and have something to do. Lifeguards are vigilant and other staff is really helpful. I think the amount of chlorine added in the water was too much but on the other hand with covid in place I think it's needed ????. Must visit if you're in edmonton.

John McLennan

Wave pool was closed before we paid but not we were not told about it. Apparently a glass panel in beach front cabana broke and shattered on the deck and pool. So far it has been closed for 3 hours. Not sure why there was glass anywhere near the poolside. I'm thinking there could be a case for lack of due diligence. My daughter's 13th birthday present has been a total bust.

Diwata RN

Great for family and worth the admission fee. The water slides were piled with line ups up about to 30mins. Hot tubs were busy as well. Foods available inside are not that good so i suggest bring your own snack(make sure you hide it) lols. Lockers are available for rentals but you can bring your stuff inside at your own risk(our tube was stolen when we’re having lunch) so be attentive to your belongings. Life guards are everywhere to check!

Stephen

Probably one of the better water parks I've been too. Water warm, staff very friendly and contentious. Loved the lockers using the Arm band with Bar-code. Slides were all fun and my favorite (Nessie's Revenge) rarely had a line. The two Kids areas were pretty awesome too! My only compliant is if you wanted an inter-tub you had to rent it and then good luck holding on to it. But other than that no real complaints.

Mary Macri

My favourite place in the mall! Loved it

Trent Modrall

Was a lot of fun with my 2.5 yr old. Unfortunately the toddler park was closed.

R Feshaye

Love World Waterpark, I am so grateful ???? that we have it in Edmonton. My kids and I always enjoy going there ❤

John Molberg (JohnnieMo)

I first went to this water park in 1991. It was awesome then and it is awesome now. It is one of the best water parks in Canada. I like the selection of slides, the wave pool and for the first time tried the Flow Rider. Here are some of the ups and downs. Good: - Awesome selection of slides which are long and some quite fast. - Professional staff. - Wave pool is the best I've been in - They have done an amazing job adding lounge areas and cabanas over the years. - The Flow rider and staff are excellent. - Free coke products is cool. - The food and beverage options are better than ever. They even let you drink alcohol. In Canada! What an age.... (sarcasm) - Kids zone is good. - Change rooms and lockers are nice and high tech (and expensive) Bad: - The price is insane. It is $45 per person. It costs extra to get cabanas or use the Flow Rider or Zip Line. Those prices are reasonable, but you've already paid a fortune to just get the option. - Why the hate on cameras? - The throughput on the slides is pathetic. They are so safety conscious, they won't let one person go down until the person at the bottom has cleared. With slides this long this is utter insanity. - The wave pool has a sign that says stay 10m from the edge. That is 30 feet! So we're just wasting a couple thousand square feet of usable space and a few million liters of water. Great move guys. - They replaced one of the best tube slides with, get this, offices. Huh? - Most of the slides require your kid to be 48 inches tall (most of the pools are that deep). If your kid isn't this big, you need to ride with them. Overall, even though I love the park itself, the management needs a good head shaking. Being that this park has existed for almost 40 years, they have seen every sort of accident imaginable. As a result they have safety proofed it to the point its no longer worth the cost. My son and I went all day and only did 6 slides, on a SLOW DAY! They have to give their heads a shake and learn that value comes from going down a slide and not standing in line. The militarization of their safety patrol needs to be toned down. Let people enjoy this amazing park. Put the whistles away. Make the park itself safe, rather than trying to police everyone.

Borksheviks

I got lost in the wave pool and I learned how to breathe underwater.

christa daigneault

Awesome even with covid easy to maintain a social distance. Staff are very nice and informative. ????

Wesam Khalfalla

Great place for families and kids!

Neeraj Dhiman

Very exciting place for entertainment, fun, thrills or just laid back relaxing in the warm tropical atmosphere.

Slouchy

I always enjoy going here, whenever I have enough to go swim I always do it... With that being said, the store inside here is super pricey, bring your own food and drinks if you can... other than that, money well spent!

Live Wesige

Thia place fun fun fun, can't wait to go again, went there with my family, and we all has so much fun. The kid inside me was all the place and ofcourse our kids had a blast

Noel Hanni

Three of us wanted to go surfing however the waiver form application made it impossible to put in the postal code. When I asked for help at the surfing both the associate continued to read her book. Overall I had a great time but if you want to make more money maybe make the staff type up the form, create a user friendly version, or better yet don't mix touch screens with water.

Stuart pretzlaw

Always 31 degrees in Edmonton!

Adib Kaddoura

So amazing. Our favorite staycation

Corwin Chomay

Needs a sprucing up and bring back the coke experience! Smaller cabanas are still pretty pricy. But the family always enjoys our time.

Bushra bilal

It was an awesome experience! everything there was exciting .the workers are so kind an caring. My two concerns are at the world water park is that they should provide the tubes free just like Canada's Wonderland and other water parks and they should give an option of halal food. Other than that, there is nothing wrong. I really recommend it !

Jeff Bergen

Super spreader, way overcrowded, no regulations. Even if you don't care about that you'll be waiting 30 minutes a ride at least, so even if you're there right at 10 and stay til 5 you'll get maximum 14 rides, but realistically 10 or so. Not worth it, stay away!

Ethan’s _TrainZ

Another great place just like my review of Galaxyland. This place is amazing. There are lots of slides, and play structures for any age group. Change rooms are pretty clean, and well kept. Zipline is very scenic, and very awesome. Lots of theme put into this place, lots of fun. In the future I would like to see the prices to go down similar to what I said about Galaxyland, and I noticed there is an attraction they decommissioned. (A lazy river) nearby the Sunrunner tubing slide. I would recommend getting it back up, and running in a while as it looks super fun, and it may attract more guests to the park. Or fix up the area a bit as it looks awful around that area. Overall amazing time at this Waterpark.

Aria Martin Henderson

What is there to say about North America's largest indoor water park that hasn't been said before? This is a little bit pricey at almost $50 per person, but you do get to stay the entire day and kids love it! For an extra fee there is also a zip line that goes across the large wave pool. There are many snack options here which are fairly affordable All Things Considered. When we went Coca-Cola was having a free beverage promotion which made our visit even more affordable as we wanted to keep our liquids up. I only wish there was some type of seasons pass.

Daniel Kocsis

Without a doubt the best waterpark anywhere in the world! The day pass is fairly cheap and you can get cheaper on weekdays or if you only wanna do an afternoon. Very well maintained and one of the must visit places in Edmonton and even the best of the mall.

Starla O'Neal

Great for all ages! This place is full of slides play areas and an Awesome wave pool! The Cabana is nice to rent and the food is even reasonably priced. We make a full day of it when we visit the Waterpark! Smiles all around. Best part is you can walk around the Mall when your done swimming!

Eileen Driver

Maybe cuz of Covid... Maybe not... Cleanest washrooms and no line for slides. Loving it!

Daniel D

Lots of fun. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities were clean and in good repair. Slides were great and the wave pool kept the kids busy. Probably the best stop in Edmonton and not to be missed.

gobi jothy

Very nice place very good experience

Crater H

Amazing waterpark to take your family and a good use of any free passes you may get from your hotel. VERY PRICEY without a pass. The locker system although handy can get confusing at times and the lockers tend to be small needing usually 2 at least for a family of 4. The free coke freestyle is nice and the food there is very good. The soft pretzels at the concession are to die for!

Selena Rafters

Absolutely amazing and very fun for my whole family 1????????????????

Richelle Wilson

Everyone in my family loved it. Fun, amazing, incredible. One of the best pools ever.

G. G.

A whole experience is a whole day of good times. Lockers should go back to a quarter because the price of admission for two is over a hundred bucks. I'm sure I own half a slide now.

raymond “Supadupz” Credgeur

Events there are awesome, lots of slides and indoor surfing plus bungee jumping into a wave pool really fun but there are bugs

Sean Flynn (SerBlackfyre)

World Waterpark at WestEdmonton Mall is a great outing for the whole family. The experience from the start is good. Nice clean changing rooms with separate space for families to change together. The changing rooms were quite cold, I think to combat the humidity and heat from the pool area. Once in the pool area most amenities are within arms reach, and are available most times of the day and year. They keep the pool area quite comfortable temperature wise. The wave pool is lined with soft foam flooring, as close to sand as you are going to get without it actually being sand. The water is warm, it will not be a shock to your body even if you jump in quick. The waves are nice, but if you aren't fond of them there is a buzzer to let you know they are coming so you can move out of the way. All the slides were open and well maned. Staff at the slides were friendly and helpful. Staff is vary safety oriented, sometimes a little too much so, but you feel safe letting your kids run around and swim, so it a win in the end. On the negative side, some of the stone flooring in the main area is chipped away, I cut my foot on it slightly. Some of the staff were too busy flirting with one another and were not paying attention. This was one or two and should not reflect negatively on the whole of the group who most were attentive. Also while swimming I turned around to face my fiance in the pool and noticed a lifeguard spit in the pool from the elevated side he was on. Was really not to fond of that. You know a lot of people do it, especially when coming up from the water but to watch a non swimming lifeguard do it from the lifeguard post... Something just irked me about that.

Jacquie Daniels

Wasn't quite worth the money for our 5 year old, and nothing has changed since like 2001. Also found it really cold when we went today.

Noha Salem

Very clean and a fun place to be with family. As we can’t travel any where I was glad that this place is still open. The kids enjoyed the waves, the slides and the kids area was super fun. I enjoyed the kids area too ???? especially the big bucket when it spills. We took the two days path and we spent one and a half day in the pool. The kids enjoyed riding the Zip-line as well( it is paid separately for $10 once or $16 for two times) Highly recommend!

AmandA Koopa

Super fun waterpark! The slides are intense and the wave pool is awesome. It's pricey but it's worth it if you make a day of it. WARNING: THE blue enclosed slide is a serious back scratcher.. it was painful.

Farren Bellmont

PSA don't bother going if you think there will be no line ups. We had fun for sure, but I don't think I'll be back for a while. If I get COVID it will be from this place. There is no social distancing at all. We booked our tickets in advance and had the 330 time frame. The line up to get in was huge. They made a solid attempt to social distance but they created a line for people that pre paid that is right next to the lines. The locker rooms are jammed with no directional arrows and people are jammed together. The wave pool was ok. We did a few slides but holy line up. And people just in general don't give space. You do pay the same price as previous but - no in and out privileges -Less time to play - so many closed slides -no hot tub -no tube slides

Gary Weller

A good place to spend an afternoon with the family. Plenty of slide options and a fun wave pool to splash around in. All you can drink pop/soda. Bring a towel, and some money. Lockers cost $8-$12 a day.

Devon Moch

Always have a blast at the World Waterpark. The wave pool is always fun and the slides are great as well. Always forget how fast you go when going down the slides, just feels like you're flying down them. It is usually pretty busy, but it is well worth it for all the fun to be had.

Emily Ethel

The park was warm. Almost too warm for me but I like to be cooler. Comfortably warm for the rest of our party. Optional in and out privileges if you decide to grab food elsewhere. I wasn't able to take any shots or videos because they don't allow hand held actions cams even in the wave pool unless it's strapped on securely.

Abhishek Sharma

Cyclone was closed...oh no...rest was fun..loved the wave pool

RZ T

Loads of fun for the entire family. It is quite pricey so be prepared, you are charged for a locker, towels & everything in between. The price of entry is quite hefty as well unless you go during their specials like Toddler time etc. We went as a mini vacation & our kids loved it. The customer service is HORRIBLE especially at entry, they provide you no guidance and asking for assistance is a bother.

Tara McClellan

Unless you got hurt there is no way you didn't have an AWESOME time!

Sean Barr

A huge blast every time, COVID has some areas down, but almost everything is still available. I highly recommend getting a toddler time pass if you have a little. 200 for all you want annually, 300 if you include Galaxyland too.

Deb Kelts

Our Grandchildren had a great time! So did we

Sidhartha Sharma

Great place for kids under 12 & parents to enjoy along with them

Jessica Johnston

Slides are fun, wavepool and splash park are awesome. It sucks to see the Pepsi flow machines go because the food and drink pricing here is insanely expensive. You're better off leaving and getting food court food.

Dwight Thomas

Was great, rented the day lounger. It was totally worth it.

Chance Corpe

In all the years growing up in Alberta I never went to the waterpark, even during the time I lived in Edmonton. While on vacation with my grand daughter, who loves water parks, I decided to bring her. We could have spent the entire day there easily. From the wave pool, to the water slides and even took her on a zip line for the first time. She loved every minute of it.. (well except some of the lines for the slides). It was a great afternoon and a good way to break up our long day of driving.

THE GARDENIL COMPANY

I loved it. I enjoyed the waves and rides a lot

Chey Des M

Sometimes it can be a little bit crowded but it's okay I enjoy it especially with my kids but Walk Don't run

Ryan Haigh

Family had a blast. If you're in the waterpark already the zip line is only $10 or 15.

Joe Armstrong

Good times for the kids but $15 for a "large" locker rental is flat out gouging.

Jessie T Halvorsen

3 words fun fun and fun again been here all 7 times I’ve been in Alberta.

Jason Cooper

Had a good time. Kids had fun. Line ups can get a little crazy by lunch time, but if you go there early you can have a few hours of quicker wait times. Also, look around on Kijiji for fundraiser tickets, you'll save a lot of money and help out a good cause.

Olga Somyk

Must to go with kids! Minuses - huge lines for slides and ridiculous rules for masks. Also towels should be sold in the pool, same place when you are renting tubes, not at the entrance of the park.

Erik Nabeta

Cabana was definitely worth the investment for our 2 families (8ppl total)

Chelsea Stephenson

Very fun, friendly staff over all. Drinks and food are a little pricey. Fun place to go with family or for a date!

Willy

So fun. I wish the tickets were a little cheaper. Lines can be long on weekends.

Jerry Wang

0/5 WAY OVERPRICED TICKETS! There is no cancellation, not even a partial refund for the park. COVID super spreader for certain, no crowd control or any restrictions at all. No one was wearing a mask and the entire place is filled with people. Exited 5 minutes into the park. Horrible control, disorganized, and expensive!

Martyna Hanuszczak

Lots of fun, but very chaotic. Variety of slides

Ellis Wedel

Great facilities with lots to do, recommended!

Jaxson Baerg

Probably the best water park in Alberta! Love the wave pool, the variety of water slides for all ages, the play park, and the hot tub. I will definitely return here in the future with my own kids :)

K & T Hoskins (StarWars81)

Admission price is ridiculously high. We bought an annual pass because it is paid for in 4 visits. Food inside is great and not expensive. The floors are gross in the change rooms but with that many people it would be hard to keep up with. A suggestion for WEM is to get benches in change rooms as it is very difficult to change kids when they stand and toss wet clothes on floor.

Sophia&Scarlett Vlogs

Great waterpark for all ages. Automated locker system is really good to secure your important belongings. You can rent lockers at $8 and $12. Changing room/locker room need some upgrade., It kinda stinks in there. But overall the waterpark is a fun way to explore and enjoy. Big slides, big waves, zip line for some adventure ????

Stuart Pretzlaw

My annual birthday tradition, always 32 degrees!

Jason Pettyjohn

Amazing indoor waterpark, probably one of the best things to do in Edmonton during the long, dark and cold winters. Lots of slides and a huge wave pool. The longest slides start at over 70 feet up in the air! Only negative is that the hot tubs are small and finding the slide you want can be confusing. There needs to be a better legend or map. But overall a very unique experience!

Janelle Kenny

I love it. I love West Edmonton Mall, and the Waterpark. It is expensive. Lockers require cash. Parking is far from waterpark. The baby pool is crowded. The slides are a mix of easy and terrifying. Being a competent swimmer is an asset. Easy to lose sight of children in the large wave pool.

Nolan Gagne

A great place to go for a stay cation with your significant other. Or a day drinking adventure in yeg

Sarah McIntosh

The park itself is phenomenal. Definitely a great retreat for my family while dealing with hospital issues. My only complaint is I wish it was more affordable to go regularly.

Madeline Jhawar

My 5 star review is probably largely based on the fact that we went on a Tuesday afternoon after spring break. The place was virtually empty. There were no lines anywhere and in addition we got discounted entry. There were plenty of lounge chairs, lockers were easy to use and great that you can access them the whole day without paying extra. Loading cash onto my wrist band was very useful! My kids ages 12 & 14 had a blast in the waves, the hot tub, and many of the slides. I didn't like the coffee or food in any of the onsite places so I wrapped a towel around my waist and went into the mall for lunch. I got some stares but fewer than I was expecting. Everything was clean, staff was attentive, it was good value for money overall. All in all it was great although not sure I'd go back with crowds.

Anil Mani

Wave pool is pretty nice. Bit crowded at times though. Children definitely seems to enjoy it as well as the slides. Those who would like sit and read while older kid enjoy the waves there are chairs. The food stalls nearby is convenient as well.

Brent Upton

If you read my review of Galaxyland all the same things apply about taking children here, but add "you also get wet". One change I would suggest the management make is to not allow the discount evening swims entry until the majority of people have left. We were stuck in the change rooms for a good 20 minutes after getting changed as there was a line coming through the doors and no one could move enough for our stroller and stuff to get through. Otherwise it was a fantastic time and I highly recommend you be an awesome parent and take your kids.

MultiFandom사이다모 - 은지

If it will be your first time coming here, You'll definitely Enjoy it a lot, so many different kinds of slides. You can even do Zip Line. It's really worth it if you got with Family and Friends. Drinks are Free and can be re-filled.

Amy Mc

Beware of the wave pool! They should absolutely not allow people to be on tubes in there - the waves carry the people on tubes much farther back than those actually in the water, meaning the people on tubes come crashing down on our heads, or kicking us. I was smashed in the head twice, fell on once, and hurt my arms a couple of times trying to protect my son from getting smashed. I went there for a relaxing day in the water but ended up leaving very stressed (plus the water was unexpectedly cold, and there was an unpleasant wind blowing). I've been to several wave pools in other places and none of them were dumb enough to allow tubes in there. Don't even get me started on the lineups for the slides - we ended up only doing one after a 45-minute wait, where people with rented tubes seemed to have priority. Would absolutely not recommend.

Leanna Bachur

This is not a review about the water park itself, but more of the hours posted on google. It says it opens at 10am when you google wem world water park. My husband brought our son all the way down there and got him all excited, only to find out it actually doesn’t open until noon?! Can someone please update the hours or at least make them more specific so this doesn’t happen to someone else. Thank you

B V

Really good slides, the wait lines aren't terrible but can take awhile. Wave pool is awesome but is always really packed. Would definitely recommend

Abigail Larson

Kids loved it!! Sad there is no in and out or a spectator free admission. Otherwise, only thing was i got sick the next day. 1st time in 18mths that i have a sore throat and cough. Be prepared no distancing anywhere in the waterpark. No rules regarding vaxxed and unvaxxed, so probably high chance you could get Covid. will go for testing when i get home.

Ravi Kant Sharma

A bit pricey for a single person, add on for locker again pinches your pocket. But once you are in you will forget that your vault is a bit lighter! Hot pool, whirl pool and wave pool just take your fatigue away and you feel yourself to be on ???? front. Life jackets, towels and floats are free. And you can spend the whole day in ???? if you like. DRINKS are free from the dispenser, once you are in the water Park and snacks are moderately priced, ambience is fun & crowds are sporty!!

Doug Christian

Always a hit with the kids, staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

Mme. Angel

Always a great time, kids love it! Lots of slides to choose from and lots of different areas/levels for all ages. Unfortunately the Sky Flyer and Flowrider was closed and they no longer offer the unlimited drinks.

Tori Guderyan

The line up was super long to get in. The line ups for the water slides were 20-30mins. The line ups for the food was 30 mins long but thats because their machines went down and only 1 was working which made it backed up. But with that being said the kid play area was SO FUN! It had 3 water slides for the kids. The hot tub was nice and hot. The wave pool was also alot of fun and had huge waves. This was one of my favorite places we came.

Eva Feng Shui

You can spend here time with family if you have a weekend !

Kyle Lee

Best place to go when it is -10 degrees out side. A lot of fun for all ages.

Royalty Reservation

Lots to do tubes with waves is the best so are all the slides

Sham Wonders

Fun for sure but I feel expensive

Jason

Fun place to take the family and friends

sam wiebe

Lots of fun but... the skip the line machine didn't give me the bands the first time although I still payed(for 4 people). Tried again and it worked, tried to get a refund for the first try and only got 50$ back.

Manny Saikuz

Lot's of fun slides, relaxing hot tubs, and even A ZIPLINE! This place is amazing but my personal favorite part is when the waves come in. It's such a thrill and will always make you wanna come back again.

Tyler Hogg

Gets worse every time I go Lifeguards blowing whistles every two seconds

Lawrence B

I enjoyed the wave pool!

Salutations

Nice warm park. Kids loved it. It is getting a bit dated but what do you expect. Over priced but you save up for a day there. Wish they would bring back the free drinks.

Alfee Ho

We went there just 3 hours before closing, got discounted rates. Fun place to be n relaxing too

Mai Igos

I love it,next time i will stay whole day

Christopher Denis

The price for admission is rather high, and it doesn't even include a locker rental. It's absolutely mental that it costs $8 for a small locker and $12 for a large. That price should be INCLUDED with admission. I'd say that for almost $60 per person (with locker rental included) is quite high just to swim in a pool that is essentially a toilet. The amounts of chlorine used to combat the urine is brutal on the eyes. The slides for the most part are great, but expect to wait in extremely long ques, even in the middle of the week.

cailin syed

My husband and I had so much fun here! 3 hours spent in the wave pool and riding all of the slides. We came on a Monday so it almost felt like we had the whole place to ourselves; no lines or crowds. Our only complaint is how much of a money grab it feels!! Even on a weekday we still paid $35 dollars each to get in and we still had to pay at least $10 each for a locker.

jiggbury

Can't wait to go back once COVID is over! An amazing value during closing hours!

Tyler Childs-Villeneuve

Went with some friends and we had an amazing time. Even if some of the attractions were closed, we were able to have fun and relax all over the park

RedRose9669

$80 total for us to swim as a couple (including the locker they failed to mention wasn't part of the wristband deal) the change room was horrific. Absolutely filthy and smelt like urine. We got into the pool just in time for it to be closed (someone vomited, not their fault) so after driving from red deer we weren't able to swim and weren't aware that the hot tubs weren't working either. I can't even tell you how dissapointed we were. Luckily Adele and her team at guest services were very kind and issued a refund without any problems. I definitely wouldn't recommend. We won't be back unfortunately.

Denes Lengyel

What an amazing time. If you ever can please visit time and money well spent your kids will love it and you will have fun specially in the winter months. Something negative yes the toddler water park could be a little bit warmer my daughter was freezing to death playing there and she didn't enjoy it. All together very nice clean and always enjoying the complimentary drinks from Coca-Cola

hector lagdon martinez grisales

Good place to dwfinitively have some memories with the family and kids highly recommended if you stop by edmonton entry are 35 dollars each and skyflyer is cheaper if admission then without it.

Aaron G

Always fun, the blue bullet will shred your back

Greg M

The water park is one of best I've ever been too with amazing slides for every age and an awesome wave pool. The water park also provided free soda and water from Coke freestyle machines while we were here and that was a nice bonus. The staff here from the cleaning staff to the life guards are top notch and should all be proud, since I was extremely impressed with all of them. The staff here kept everything stocked, operational and clean. The bathrooms had someone in them keeping them clean almost every time we were in the bathroom and we were at the park from open to close (all day). The food at they sell was pretty good too ... nothing to write home about but was good and worth not having to leave the park. Food was a little pricey, but less or the same as other restaurants in the mall food court.

Kirk Dewhurst

I have always enjoyed this water park, it has all you could want in a water park and more. Water slides, tube ride, huge wave pool, wave rider and even a zip line overhead. I have been coming here for many years and have always enjoyed the experience. You can relax on the beach chairs. There is a restaurant and bar. You can easily spend the day here and have a great time.

Ash Lynnn

The last time i went it was roughly 60 for two adults. 2years later it is now 100 dollars for 2 adults and the hours are cut back. What the eff. Who can afford to take their kids there?? This mall is so high end now its not even practical to visit anymore

Alex Weber

Excellent experience.... great time with family ????

Anna Thiessen

Super fun.

Focus Onfootball

Incredible largest indoor Waterpark in the world!????????????????????????

Yolanda Saavedra-Campbell

First time here and for my son. It was his 4th birthday yesterday and myself and his dad promise him a fun day at the water park. It was awesome . Barley anyone there. We will be coming back again

Simon A

Wave pool is fun. But even though the website says rides are open only 2 rides are open. And the price is the same. Locker rentals are 10$ for a tiny one and 15$ for a normal sized one. Tubes for floating are 6.50$.

Adam McFadyen

So much fun!

Breanne Guenette

We have always loved the World Waterpark but our last experience there was sadly not fantastic. I booked a spot at the waterpark for my son's 11th birthday. Between the time I booked and the time of the birthday the price increased. Noone let me know ahead of time. When I booked I told them I didn't plan to swim so I could always be in our spot for the boys to find me. The girl on the phone told me I would need to purchase a beach pass for $20 but when we got there I had to pay full admission. The party comes with lunch but apparantly the hamburger does not include a cheese slices which is an extra $1. They won't accept cash so you need to go and buy waterbucks cash so you can just pay $1 for cheese. The lunch is supposed to include a bottled pop but they wouldn't let us have a bottled pop. After waiting in line for food at the location listed on the lunch vouchers, they gave us a receipt that we had to take across the waterpark to a different concession and wait in line to get a fountain pop. Apparantly they only have fountain pop at one location. They used to have free fountain pop machines and refills located around the waterpark but those are all gone. The boys still had a great time that's why I rated 3 stars and not less but I was very dissapointed with the lack of communication surrounding my booking price, and the inconvenient concessions and somewhat rude staff.

Austin

Truly amazing swimming pool. The wave pool will go off every 15 mins or so and there will be a horn to notify everyone when its about to happen. The water slides are mellow to crazy! I went on all of them and its totally worth it. Feel fear and do it anyways..

Andrea H

Great fun for anyone!!

Katrina Kephart

Rented the terrace daybed... Well worth the money. I have back neck and shoulder issues and today was the first day in almost 5 yrs I was able to join my husband and kids at a family event without needing to leave early. This area provided the space I needed to not only be able to stay for the day but also the comfort so I could actually enjoy myself while doing so. Will rent again everytime I go. I highly recommend looking at the different area to suit your family's needs.

Houman Fathi

Amazing. Highly recommended.

David Janzen

The slides are fun but can be up to a 20 minute wait for some of them. Drinks and food are very expensive for what you get and there was massive issues the day me and my wife went. We spent 10 minutes in line waiting for food and then they sold us pizza that we had to wait for and when it was done they gave the whole pizza away to a different group of people. They then asked if we wanted hot dogs instead which would have been $4 less than what we paid. They we're out of chicken fingers so we had to get cheese burgers which we're cold, very gross and the cheese wasn't melted. The whole ordeal took 30 minutes and a lady next to us said she was waiting 45 minutes. Lots of other customers had complaints because they were selling things and then saying they we're out. Avoid the food at all costs.

Tim Dixon

Had an amazing time at the water this week!! Not at all crowded, lots of fun.

Brandon Hutchings

Fun place!! It has a high price... but it is a cool experience once in a while.

Melissa Naguib

The Waterpark isn't that bad now with covid. They don't have the drink machines before covid and it really ruins the experience. Could be worse I guess

sylvia

The waterpark is an excellent place to spend time with family. Entrance fee $39 for five years old, general charge $47 — locker medium size $8 large $12 and it accept credit card but not visa debit card or bring $1or $2 cash — crowded family changing room — a Coca-Cola free soft drink dispenser with different flavours. Private rental space available limited two only. 2 Hammock Tents with storage, it faces the kid's Water-park. The life jackets are free. A donut pool float is $6. It's best to go in early if you want to find a beach chair.

Luke Nisi

Best Waterpark I’ve ever been to! There is tons of awesome slides, and a great wave pool. The facility is generally quite clean as well. On the pricier side, but worth it.

Jongwoo Lee

The only best water park in Alberta. ;)

Alex Jung

Good place for kids

Atticus Playz

Great try the loop one it's good

Terra Murray

The pool temperature is not what it used to be. The pool is quite cold and the hot tubs were warm, but not hot. Please increase the pool temperature. It's absolutely too cold.

Wontack Song (송원택)

Bit pricy, but my family had a great time. Lots of places for toddlers to enjoy as well. We spent more than 5 hours. What can I say more! Tips: bring your own towels to save money ($3/ea non refundable). They rent life jackets for various sizes, including toddlers for free. Toddler special price is only effective between Mon~Thu, after 12pm noon.

Prince Adonis Ocean

Way too much fun! I should have tried the bunjee jump when I was there! The slides were awesome though...a super great time!

Rene Geeregat

Booked my daughter's birthday party here on Nov.1st with Guest Services in the mall. They messed up the date I wanted, and didn't even call when I didn't show up on the incorrect date of Nov.12 that they booked. I booked for Sat. Nov. 17th, and before I left I even double checked with the lady that it was for that date. I have no idea how they messed up the 17th with the 12th. So when I got to the Waterpark on Nov. 17th with all of my party guests, cake and presents, I was in for a very unpleasant surprise. Devastated by their mistake and sick to my stomach, the Waterpark staff did their best to accommodate my needs and correct the mistake done by guest services. We still had a good time, but was still extremely disappointed that we did not get the Cabana I had booked, and everytime I went by the damn thing I had a guy wrench feeling of unhappiness and thought to myself, how much better it would have been if I had gotten the private Cabana that I had booked 17 days in advance, and spent $450 on. From now on I will never drop that kind of money on a planned birthday without getting a printed or written confirmation with the date on it. Sincerely, a very organized and disappointed mother.

Nilofar Kazmi

Very well spent four hours. So much fun.

RVF360

This place is gorgeous and really fun. It’s inside of the mall. Very nice place

Gaven

I've been to this place many times. The water slides are awesome, the wavepool is fun, the hot tub is relaxing, and the staff are very nice.

Chiang Godric (Kangaroo)

Great experience in general. Great wave pool and hot tub. Most slides with a long line. Might be better if avoid weekends. Locker price is pretty high as $8 for a small box just enough for my backpack.

Juan Lopez Madrid

Beautiful place inside the mall... could you imagine that? Amazing

Kulji Singh

It's fun, but not worth the price. I'd recommend go at least once during the week. Water is cold, temperature is prob about 25c. Slides open on a schedule and they're not all open at the same time

Susanna Murray

Came here 20 years ago and this time (August 2021) we wanted to take our 2 young kids with us. We had a great time! Not sure if it's changed or if we just notice the kids areas now but it is so well catered to the younger ones. Our kids are 4 and 6 and they had an absolute blast. Free life jacket rentals made it comfortable for the kids to go on to the bigger slides and land in the 4 foot pools. Our kids are very comfortable in water and have no issues with water in their face/ears/eyes so that makes a difference. Line ups were long so we didn't get as much in as we wanted but I think that's normal. We were there for 5 hours and did all the under 48" slides once with a break for food. The concession had reasonably priced food - hot dogs, burgers, pizza, fries, etc.

kiera r reist

This indoor waterpark is amazing.... for everyone! They have a shallow pool with small dolphin themed pool for the little ones. They have another area for the ones for smaller kids as well with a giant bucket that pours out and two small to medium sized slides. And for everyone else there is the giant wave pool and many slides to choose from. They have two areas for food and two freestyle pop stations, that r completely free and you can have as many cups as you like.

Nathan

I can't believe how many types of slides they have, the wave pool, and other attractions and this is inside a mall! Due to COVID, the hot tubs and a few other attractions were closed, but we still had plenty to do. Slides for babies all the way to the most adventurous. There are a lot of steps to get to the top of some of these slides (like 7 stories) so you need to pace yourself. Great way to have some fun anytime of the year without freezing in the winter or baking in the summer!

Maria M

FUN experience. If you wanna go for a few hours only go in last three hours tickets are 35$ per person.

Darcy Calkins

Nice facility. Pretty busy the week after Christmas

Haley (haley)

Overpriced as hell no doubt but definitely the best pool / water park I have ever been too I had an amazing time and would go back in a heartbeat . I get why it’s so expensive. Def worth checking out ! No photos because I was swimming :)

Joel Sopp

What a great place to experience the waves of the ocean in Northern Alberta. The waterslides are so much fun and able to be used by all ages. Will definitely be back!

Lisa YEG

We rented one of these cabanas and best decision ever! We paid $125 for the whole day. Holds 6 to 8 people comfortably. You get towels, your own kiosk or server to order food and drinks. There are lockers to lock your stuff up on and a private washroom to use instead of taking the long hike back to the change room. Great location, right beside the wave pool. All in all, money well spent if your wanting to spend the day there.

Potigy Potigy

Can't go wrong with the Waterpark. It's actually a lot better during covid, in my opinion. The lineups for slides are small, the pool is much more open. The downside is the lack of pop machines now and some of the attraction rides closed.

trevor “tripp” B

Very slippery from locker room to pool, deadly slope coming to locker room, kiddie pool way too small for all the children. You would think they would've had time to expand or fix something during the pandemic. Nothing was turned on in the area. $30-plus for a 2 yr old to walk around.shouldve went to great wolf lodge.

Maria Stefura

Staff is very friendly. Always a great experience.

Monisha soans

Nice beach pool but lot of people

IdolDigi Kyryn

I love this water park. It’s definitely not an everyday thing but once every 2 months? Yesss. I love coming early in the morning on a Friday and staying till 4-5 ish then going to see a movie. Most of the staff are great but some of them are less than pleasant if you catch them at the wrong time, like after dealing with entitled parents. The food is a little on the pricey side but you probably shouldn’t eat a lot at the park anyway. Eat before you go. I hated the fact I couldn’t have my phone in the hot tub. My phones water proof and always in a water proof case when In the park. Wear contacts or not be blind because you can easily loose your glasses in the wave pool. This doesn’t bring down the rating at all though because it’s not something the park can fix just a warning for people. Please be a good person and if you get a tube give it to a kid when you go to leave. You don’t get any money back for giving it back so it’s just the better option. The only thing that might limit your enjoyment is this park is not good for disabled people. Lots of stairs for the slides and no calm pools for people who can’t handle waves. Also the kids pool area kinda sucks if your kids want to actually swim and not run around.

Vojislav Keselj

We are visiting few times in years and every time is more and more fun for whole family

Deniz O

Great water park and wave pool. A bit of something for everyone.

William Cardinal

Always a great time here at West Edmonton Mall Waterpark, thank you

Tina Abellar

Been a regular here for very year and I’ve never seen this water park so busy! Theres no more float to rent, run out of chicken strips, the line up for slides are just ridiculous wave pool are just so crowded. I just wish they monitor how many guest are getting inside. Its not worth a trip to spend for tickets if you cant enjoy it to the fullest.

Nehal Kansara

So calm and pleasant in winter days. Perfect for kids who love water a great family gateway over the weekend.

Sapphire Girl

Every single time we go there we always have a blast and enjoy every cent spent!

Tamara Hall

We have been here a few times .. We we’re disappointed with all the slides that were closed this time !! Too Many Closed and no discounted price for that .. when you come from out of town and the kids expect the best time and are not wanting to go a second day hard to want to come back

Nella G

The Waterpark was a huge hit with my grandkids ages 8 and 10.

Lucia Zihao Geng

Remember to bring card or cash for rent locker.

dee clements

Always a fun time but so expensive and not always the cleanest.

Adam MacIntyre

Great place to take the kids and have a great day, would be 5 stars but should have access to tubes with price of admission

PurplePants491

This is a great place to go! The water slides are very fast and fun! The only problem is that some things are very overpriced. For example lockers cost 8 dollars for a medium locker and 12 dollars for a large locker. You also have to pay for the swimsuit dryer. Overall a great place but it’s pretty overpriced.

Adriana Zabel

It’s really nice

Zaky Qasimi

The pool is very large, with beautiful slides. But I think it is too expensive ($40 admission and $10 locker fees). Also I think some of the lifeguards must be properly trained. They were yelling at people inside the pool and not being nice at all.

Juvinar Santiago

Great place for swimming, cabling, sliding on water. Every time we visit this place, we had fun and great memories. Its better to come in the opening time on weekdays 12:00pm. Price is much cheaper for families specially when you have young kids. Highly recommended to all water lover.

Wizsumo

So much water rides to try. Family fun all day in the peak of winter.

Oliver Capson

This Waterpark is a fun experience and an excellent place to spend the day. However, I found the wait for slides to be quite long and the admission is very expensive.

Klint Kolach

Had a great time there with the family. It said it was open at 10 am online but was actually open at 11am. Kind of threw our schedule off a bit. All the people were nice. Only annoying thing was wearing a mask while waiting in line inside the waterpark. Actually refused guests that waited in long lines because of it. Otherwise enjoyable.

Leon Murphy

Took the family to the water park today. Overall it was great. Kids loved the wave pool, zip line and slides. It was busy at the start of the day but around 4 slowed down, not many lines ups After that so that was nice. Even with it busy still lots of things to do. Food prices not to bad. Water was pretty warm. Place was pretty clean overall. Staff are friendly. Lockers are definitely on the smaller size and that’s the “big” lockers. Swim passes are pricy but it is a special place so you get what you pay for. All in all a great way to spend a day with the family.

Melanie Switzer

So much fun with the family. Slides are great and free Coke for everyone.

Amber Murray

Extremely packed. Long lines. Very expensive. Zero social distancing. Kids had a blast regardless.

Siyan Chen

Nice place, had a great time

Kieth Voong

Attn : MANAGEMENT ….Million Dollar business- Please Install a swimsuit spin dryer! Guests are walking out with wet clothes! See attached picture what other facilities have installed.

Caleb Rustulka

Incredibly expensive for the service. The staff are following anti scientific practices and won’t admit anyone who hasn’t had their second dose for 2 weeks. Natural immunity evidently isn’t something worth considering.

Randy Heath

Pre purchasing tickets on line does not get you in any quicker. Waited 1/2 hour to get in. People who bought here got in right away. Rented a 325.00 coastal cabana, was supposed to have towels...so I didn't being any and after the second attempt to ask quest services we got a few. Tv in the cabana did not work as well. Long waits for the slides, filthy facility and terrible service. You can really notice the maintenance has not been looked after as the facility is in very rough shape. I bet the shareholders are doing fine.. I will never bring my family here again.

mohamed shaik

Nice place for family entertaining

Benn Goddard

Epic! Prebook at a hotel, 50% off!!!

Awful, terrible customer service and a real rip off. DON’T Pay for a cabana. We paid $225 for a cabana and when none of the conveniences were available with it because their kiosks were not working (ordering food, drinks, table service etc) they refused to offer a discount on our bill. So we essentially paid $225 plus tax for 6 towels ($18), 4 bottles of water ($12) and the equivalent of 2 lockers ($30).

Dylan

Had a good day at the pool although 4 hrs was short but I can only imagine there water and heat bill. The pool was being circulated with fresh water constantly

Neil Thomsen

Very few people which is nice, water was clean, however only two slides open.

Trevor Mohn

A fun place to be on a cold day

Nick Poulos

Great fun for all

Kim Nguyen

Fun indoor waterpark but packed with people. Fun with the variety of water slides and zipline in operational.

Mathew Bernardin

Best waterpark ever! I would give this a six stars if that was a thing!

LumpySpacePrincess LSP

Love this place, it is so much fun for the kids. The WEM was very clean and orderly compared to businesses in Calgary during Covid pandemic. I was truly impressed. Not everything is open in the park at the moment, which is to be expected but and added bonus is that the place isn't packed and there is still plenty of fun. The paid lockers are a bit too expensive IMO but we don't go to WEM often so it isn't that big of a deal. One thing we noticed that seems concerning was the rotting, DIY-like support for one of the slide platforms. It looks hazardous. The slide was open. I think the operators should seriously consider properly repairing the structure.

Doug Edward

We went on a busy Sunday, last weekend before school went back. Still the ticket line was quick and easy. Once inside we skipped the locker room and went straight to customer service because we pre ordered a semi private day bed. Worth the extra money if you are spending the entire day at the park. It gives you somewhere to rest that is all yours, along with a private locked box for your stuff, access to semi private bathrooms, your own table and chairs, as well as free towel rentals. As expecred mid-day lines for slides could be quite long, 30 minutes at times, but later in the day that was closer to 10 minutes. Caribbean cove was an awesome play structure with several water features and small slides for kids but also big enough for parents to run around with the kids on too. Our favorite part of the park was the wave pool. It could get a bit dangerous if you ventured right into the middle of the action with all the people on tubes becoming projectiles from the big waves but that was part of the fun. If you don't want to be right in the middle of things no worries as the pool is huge and you just need to back up a bit or go a little more towards the side to avoid the potential danger. My only complaint was to food. It is over priced, of course, and no outside food or drink is allowed. I ordered 3 cheese burgers, 3 water and a bag of nacho chips and it came to $35. The cheese burgers were dried out and all 3 had moldy buns. I exchanged for hotdogs, that are steamed or boiled, but I assume because they go through so many they don't fully cook since mine were luke warm weiners that seemed like they weren't actually cooked. Live and learn. Next time I think we will just dry off and head to the food court in the mall then come back to the water park after.

Antonio Mckay

Amazing place and fun

Jim Dagel

Awsome!! Water slides, wave pool splash park, hot tub. What else to want!!

Beth Allan

Back in Nov of last year I booked a birthday party here. It was a triple birthday for myself, my friend, and her friend’s daughter. The staff were awesome. We booked a cabana and everything. They had a place to store our cake, they helped me get the cabana set up, they brought us tubes, life jackets, and extra towels. They even came and checked on us. It honestly was the best experience.

Cob Greenhill

Fun day to go burn of some of your kids energy when visiting West Edmonton mall. Our two boys always have a blast riding the waves in inner tubes and swimming for a couple of hours . Also there are fantastic waterslides to try out for the ones who have the need for speed! Weekends and some local holidays it can get pretty busy. Try and arrive earlier, and if not just go with the flow and enjoy this fun filled experience with friends and family!

Jonathan K

The best indoor water park that edmonton has to offer. I have been coming here for over 20+ years and have never been disappointed. The park is well maintained, clean, has a decent amount of rides, food and beverages. The indoor wave pool is my personal favorite place to hang out in.

Afam Annie

My wife had mad fun here. Happy wife, happy man. However, the rules on not allowing my drink in should be reviewed

Rezgar Arabzadeh

Absolutely amazing experience

Jennifer Franzin

A fantastic place to send the day!

Waleed Elmalawany

Spent the day playing with family and friends and we all loved it????

Penny Stevenson

We have been twice since reopening after covid! Prices are steep, But we had an amazing time and felt comfortable with the new safety and cleaning measures being upheld. Thanks to all the staff!

Ryan Preece

PLEASE PUT UP NO CASH SIGNS. NO ONE LIKE TO STAND IN LINE FOR FOOD FOR THREE KIDS FOR 30 MINUTES TO FIND OUT THEY HAVE TO GO GET THEIR BANK CARD AND STAND IN LINE AGAIN. SIGNS EVERYWHERE! NO CASH!

Lance P

Love this place. Favorite stop with my boys!

Justin Jacobson

So rented a cabana here and waited in line 35 minutes at guest services to check in even with pre booked cabana and tickets. There is only one area to check in and its the dame area to get towels and guest info so its just to busy. The slides were good and same with wave pool. Would have given higher rating but when paying over 500 dollars including admission and cabana it was not the experience one would expect. Would suggest a cabana or day bed but get there right at 10 as the line to check in gets long. They only had one girl a guest services for the longest time she did an amazing job and kept the line movin management should be greatful as she kept it moving as fast as she could.

Chris Janzen

Had a lot of fun! Was busy but not chaotic. A perfect way to spend time with kids. Line up for food was long, but the line for adult drinks was short. Definitely got a workout on all those steps. We will sleep well tonight.

Keyshia Morris

Not great for hosting a birthday party. Most event spaces are organized and try to make the experience enjoyable and memorable not this place they just want your money. Didn’t come to check on us at all. Hosting a group of over 10 people you would think they would help organize bringing food to ensure the food is available for guests when they are needed (this has been done for me at any other event I’ve hosted) considering we’re not able to bring in our food. Couldn’t provide a knife for us to cut our cake Just didn’t seem like they were prepared for hosting an event very rude and not helpful at all. I was asked how our experience was by an employee and I told the truth on how I felt she seemed to actually be listening to the feedback and the manager then cut in and proceeded to tell me my suggestions were not feesable when I was simply asked to express my thoughts. She was just rude overall from the moment we came into the establishment. Then we went to pick up our cake from the concession fridge the lady behind the counter basically threw it at us and ended up cracking the cake. We were able to pick up our cake with no mask on but when we proceeded to purchase some soft drinks for our guests we were refused service. I’m happy the kids had a good time but overall would not recommend for hosting an event or thinking you will be treated with respect after making such an investment.

Gary Jacobson

Lots of family fun. Wave pool is a great way to spend some time.

Jessica Giesinger

The kids love it here. We came and sat in the kiddie pool while they went up and down the slide for like 2 hours. We got some free passes so it was great, otherwise we don't go often because the price is a bit much for a family of 4.

Crystal Breakenridge

Great new years eve party! Loved the indoor fireworks

Leanne TerHaar

We all just had a blast!!!!

Simarjit Kaur

Enjoyed alot with family....????

MiniBakez

The hours of this place are a joke. So short. If you plan on making a trip to this mall make sure to plan on doing this during the day as they close at 5.

JBert

Tons of fun for the whole family! We are a family of 5 with kids ages 5 - 13 and we had Grandma and Grandpa with us. We were all busy having fun all day long! The only complaint was the food was very overpriced and comparable to 7-11 snacks. Actually, convenience store food would be better. It fed us and was there at least. Otherwise a fantastic day.

Johanna MacArthur

While the slides we were able to take were great I’m not sure it was worth $170 for an adult and two children. Their favourite slides were closed and tubes were sold out by noon… Waits ranged from 20-60 mins so in 4 hours we only got to ride 4 slides and take in the wave pool a little which makes it very hard to justify the prices. Perhaps they should consider a pay per use model, or charge less when some of the park is closed? Line ups to get food require masks, remember to hide yours in your bathing suit! :) It is the ONLY Covid protocol they follow. No vaccination or masks required from the dressing room on… except in the food line.

Sean Mair

A nightmare in so many ways. Entrance is totally disorganized; no stanchions or floor markers showing where to lineup, just an absolute free for all with no social distancing whatsoever. Admission is expensive, and on top of it they don't mention you need to pay 10 bucks for a locker. All that for a dilapidated, crusty water park that should have been gutted and redone a decade ago.

Tammy Chapmann

I love going swimming

Sean Marshall

Very clean professional and well kept. They are definitely trying to make it easy for people to spend some time there. Only criticisms I have is A: the cost; we were $130 cad in just for the basic few: hours it took us to do all the slides and one zipline each. B: couple of the handrail on the higher slides seem low. Definitely below my hip. C: a few of the bigger slides were shutdown for work and their sledding slide only had a few sleds for it. All in all a tonne of fun and would recommend doing it!

dianne powell

Had a fun day swimming. I wish they would lower the cost and we could enjoy more often. Keeps kids busy all day. Free pop to drink when you are in there

Paramjeet Chumber

I enjoyed it lots of fun.

John Smith

It's a must see to appreciate its beauty. Your kids will love it there. It's for both adults and kids. Be prepared to spend the whole day but honestly it's worth it

Black Feather

Lots of slides, large pool with waves, zip line, over all great experience I was there for hours

Brendan Shust

Used to come here once in a while as a kid back in the early 90's. Edmonton wasn't at all close to home, so the trip itself was something to look forward to. But I especially looked forward to being able to ride the slides and play in the wave pool, rain or shine. Coming back as an adult, I still had a really good time. Many of the slides have been replaced or upgraded. Some of the old originals are looking their age, but they are still well-maintained and fun to ride. The wave pool itself, aside from being huge, is both clean and powerful, and I was old/brave enough this time to try the more extreme slides, which were also a lot of fun. Some of the side costs can add up, the Tsunami and the snack bar in particular, and the locker rates to a lesser extent. But the free Coke machines offsets that somewhat. I was there on a weekday, which meant (mostly) a lack of lines. I imagine weekends are busier. The staff are also helpful and friendly. All in all, a great way to spend the day. (Be sure to check their website in advance for any slide maintenance closures.)

Bakhyt Tulegenova

Good place for family, kids were happy to slide, have a fun in pool, but the food is horrible

Courteney Young

It was fun but expensive, make a day of it!

Mehrdad Jafarigiv

Perfect place to spend a day. The prices are high, but it is well worth it. Their veggie pizza is delicious. I don't need to write anything about the rides, because if you are reading this, you probably already know they are awesome.

Dwayne Reid

Amazing place for a family outing

Yevgeniy Yaroslavtsev

Wonderful place.

M T

Been 30 years since there last. Very few places left we took our kids when small and today with there kids the grandkids. Real fun day!!

Jon Foy

Great family vacation location! Kids loved the slides and wave pool.

Tiffany

Me and my kids were here last April. Hoping to get back again someday soon! The loved it. It was fun and so cool. Line ups weren't bad the day we went but it was during the week.

Robyn Gilmore

Always have a blast at the world waterpark!! From zooming down slides to drinking on the beach, I'd say it reminds me of paradise. All the staff at the waterpark work very hard to ensure guest safety and during a pandemic they are handling it pretty well. Thank you WWP!!

Samuel Menard

Expensive for only a few slides. If you want to ride all of the slides then go on the weekend.

D

We had a blast, nice staff..but the person over the load speaker made no sense... just loud alien noises lol so if the announcements were important..no one understood what was said. We were all laughing and covering our ears. ????

Ken K (kenterprize)

We come here every year when travelling and like it everytime. Lots of shopping places large selection of clothing and usually everyone friendly here. Also large big waterpark in doors and a mini fair if you would say. Roller coaster small ferris wheel other rides ect. Sea lion show is a must if you going to the mall. Will continue to go here

Jon Sholter

I'm not really sure how anyone can go here and not have a great time. Not cheap, but definitely a unique experience. Make sure to rent a private space if you have a small group. Also hit up the poolside lounges if you need some extra courage to tackle some of these slides.

Loyalty &Respect

The cyclone wasn't running due to short of employees. Disappointing

Adam Nichols

Beer and Food are expensive, But the Facility is Nice, the upgraded repainted equipment was a nice touch to come back too. Don't expect to come here for cheap though unfortunately.

MrG

I loved it as a kid, my kid loved it too.... So much fun still

Beverly Pearson

Such a fun place! Most staff were friendly and helpful, some slide attendants seemed completely bored and uninterested in engaging. Wish we had more time to enjoy. Great variety of slides.

John Ducharme

Great fun for the whole family

Chey Shafe

The day we went the chlorine was so strong that the air was hurting your eyes. It was really warm outside it was about 25 degrees and so at the top slides it was even hotter I would stand there for about 10 minutes and then be dry. The roof is all glass so the heat would build up. At the pool it wasn't to bad. If you got to warm you could go in the water and cool off. All the slides were open and everything was fun it was kind of busy but all in all it wasn't too bad.

Annia Motes

Lovely and fun place for kids and the whole family. Expensive food though

Jenelle Vanstone

We rented the family hammock for the day. I have a 9 month old and a 4.5 year old. The location was perfect and we loved using the hammock. It was great for my youngest to nap in and we were able to relax in it as well. We ordered food and drinks right to our hammock which was nice. The staff were polite and very helpful, especially those at guest services. Overall we had a blast!

Dana A

Great family fun! We never had to wait longer than 5 min for a ride the staff were friendly and helpful. The food there, not so great, but they serve beer for the adults so that's a win.

Janice Kishayinew

Just dropped off friends.

Nisreen Kahwaji

I bought my tickets and got 50% off through West Edmonton Hotel, as we stayed there. Fantasyland Hotel offers the same deal. Wearing a mask is required in non aquatic areas. There is a nice area for kids with nice water slides and fountains to play with. Some water slides in the adults area were closed! Be careful: Some adult slides are not safe for the kids (especially if they don’t know how to swim) even if their height meets the minimum height allowed. You need to check how deep is the water they will end up going through at the end of the slide. The place is well maintained and clean. The food is not really good at the kiosk inside the waterpark.

Nicole K

No explanation needed, a fun and great place to come with family ! They offer free self serve soft drinks machine inside ! If you have toddlers under 43" it is $22+tax for the toddler and an adult for free. So for 2 adults and two toddlers it was roughly $46! Great deal! There are some rides that has no height limits, so our 4 year old who was under 43" had a blast riding those "adult" slides ! The waves pool is amazing, went on a Wednesday , not crowded at all, no line up for slides! Free life jackets for kids !

Petros Triantafilou

Allot of fun and worth the drive to Edmonton

Elizabeth Power

Fantastic time had by all! Only issue was we waited in line for 25 mins for food only to be told the items on the menu were not available.

Holly

Overall this is a great place to spend the day. Be prepared to spend alot of your hard earned cash here. As if the entry fee isn't expensive enough, you have to pay $8 for a super tiny locker. This should be included in the fee. Anything extra such as tube rentals will also cost you. Life jackets are available for free. The attitude of some of the slide attendants left a lot to be desired, who act like you're inconveniencing them by being there. Clean facility, although some slides are starting to look worn out. We were here for around 4 hours and were able to do every slide at least once. The favorite was the wave pool. The unlimited free pop was a nice touch as well.

Ryan Pan

Great fun place for family

Ricki Nunweiler

So much fun! But I wish for the stairs that lead to two different waterslides they would either have the stairs split by a colour, or an arrow with the name of which one for the lines. Also wished it was open a little later and the bar was open later too. Otherwise it was great.

Charlee Hintz

This was the worst experience!, First of all i rented a cabana for $ 341.00 for my sons birthday then i noticed they had a birthday package for $ 425.00 (As per the website) It took me two days with emails back and forth with guest services to upgrade, The upgrade was in fact a extra $ 315.00. The website is wrong i was told they are trying to revise it, Completely deceiving so now i am in for $ 655.00, I was told someone would come get us when we got there, that didn't happen i had no idea where to go one person told me to ask a life guard and when i did that lifeguard sent me and my party to the wrong Cabana. I was told there was no line for food and someone would bring it, That didn't happen i had to leave my party to go stand in a 20 minute line and bring the food back to the kids. The cake was to come at 1... I had to go track that down, couldn't find my cake I was told drinks were included NOPE that was in another entire section of the park....So now I'm walking to find the kids drinks. I was told with these rentals and package each additional person was $ 40.. NOPE each of my guest paid full price. The website is full of false advertising... I would never recommend a birthday it was nothing but walking around trying to get information. They said towels included.. i got 4 wouldn't give more, tubes included? She gave me a pass for three The cabana was nice but NOT WORTH The price and whatever they say is included is actually not....DO NOT RECCOMEND

Jeffrey Eubank

Great place had slot of fun.

Danny Levin

Kids had a blast!! Would definitely come back Only issue is it was crowded

Mary Noble

They are really making every effort to make the park COVID safe. I felt really safe there will my young kids a week after they reopened. They are restricting numbers of visitors so you are able to socially distance even in the pool or jungle gym (see pictures!). There are numerous staff constantly cleaning all surfaces, handrails etc. As soon as you stand up from a lounger, someone comes straight over and cleans it. Hours are reduced at the moment and you book in advance online. It has always been an excellent place for kids. The wave pool is huge and the waves are big. The staff are very safety conscientious. There are lots of water slides for kids and adults. You can hire cabanas which make the visit even more fun. Remember to take your own towel because they charge for them now. My 9 year old kids absolutely love it.

Mel Plante

Lots of waterslides, a large wave pool, a couple of kiddie pools, a family tubing slide, a place to eat and much more! I absolutely recommend a family day trip to the WEM Waterpark!

Canadian Visitor

Where can you find a better place than this waterpark to entertain your kids and yourself? One of the rare places where we had unforgettable souvenirs in family. We visited between Christmas and new year. Water was warm. Waves were fantastic. Slides are amazingly high and varied. A few restaurants exist on site but we had to wait very long before we got our order ready. Zip lines above the pools are a great experience too. If this review was helpful please don't forget to like it. Thank you and enjoy your experience!

Adam Easterbrook

The slides are all pretty fun, especially the more intense ones. Wave pool is nice. My only complain is this place doesn't exactly exude cleanliness.

paw Waldren

I loved the water park, Great rides, Great customer experience but I only wish they bought back the free pop in the park. One of my favourite things about the water park was going on amazing water slides then coming off and mix and matching the coke cola products This combo made it a perfect day! So i am hoping in a little bit they will bring the pop fountains back!

Katherine Luknowsky

It is an awesome water park with amazing features. It can often be extremely crowded, bordering unsafe in the wave pool. The slides are amazing and lineups usually move quickly. Food and beverage is good too and you can even rent little cabana’s for blocks of time. The only other downside from the crowd is that several of their cool attractions come at an additional cost. This includes surfing and zip lining.

King Don

Nice place to visit..

Olga Morozova-Gelmici

Great morning at WEM waterpark!

Matthew P

Food has definitely gone down hill with warmers instead of fresh

Chad Babiy

This really is a fantastic place to spend a day with the family. Once the kids are over 48" tall they can go on nearly all of the slides. The wave pool is a blast and the kids splash park is great. We also rented a cabana which is really nice as you've got a private space to relax and sit to eat. I'd give it 5 stars if it was a little more reasonably priced as it is quite expensive for a family to go.

Trish Z

AWESOME time was had. Kids ran from start to finish, and they are 12. We were in line when it opened and were there when the waves shut off.. ????. So unbelievably clean and cared for! Rented a beach front patio spot, had food delivered straight to us, place to lock up our stuff, pricey for an ordinary afternoon but this was our summer vacay so pulled out all the stops. Zip line was open and pretty inexpensive (10.00 a kid). Slides were done many times over and many a wave was crashed into..????. Worth every penny for the day!

Ryan Winther

Line ups longer than Disney land. Pay big money for a family and unable to get on a slide as it's over an hour long wait for each slide. Should have a no slides price given they scan everyone's bracelet before they go down the slide anyways. Kids splash park has two slides, one was closed (but operating with water) for some unknown reason so the line up for the other slide was 35 minutes on top of the splash park structure which is way too chaotic and crowded. Website advertises the water park is a tropical 31 degrees Celsius...not even close. Maybe 20 degrees and the water is pretty cold. Hot tubs there wasn't an inch to spare. Wave pool you have some young kid blowing the whistle constantly over nothing. Got told I needed to go to the shallow end that it was too deep for my 3 year old who had a life jacket and I was holding him while I was able to stand. Pretty obnoxious. Couldn't do the slides and now I can't go into the wave pool. Give me a break. Been here before years ago and was never nearly as packed or as cold. Definitely should've waited for school to be back in come September.

Lane Nemanishen

I have never had a better time in my life!…..

Ben

Let's be honest, a tropical paradise in northern Canada. Waterslides wonderful beach and great wave pool. Great for kids at the shoreline and waves big enough to surf on in the deep end. Awesome selection of slides and a full kids waterpark tucked away being the adult slides cabanas hot tubs and more. Sure it seems expensive but it's really a bargain for what they offer.

Luke Sisk

30 minutes in line for a stupid hotdog. 6 staff members stand around waiting for something from the one till. Food & beverage manager should be fired. 20 minute minimum wait for slides. $100 fir one adult snd a five year older. Brutal.

Tyler Van Impe

Best water park in western Canada. The standing drop slides were very intense but the lines were short and it was worth it. Fun wave pool that was very frequently running. Lots of space for setting down a towel on a chair to relax. Soft floor for the feet. Definitely would visit again.

ben sept

I stepped in something wet and in the wave pool I got someone's gum in my mouth. None of the staff told me that I had toilet paper stuck to my leg. How embarrasing. Who's running this place???!!??

SM Se

I had fun once inside. The line ups were very long to get in. I'm confused as to why "pre buying" tickets is recommended on their website. We waited 40 mins in line still. The people buying the tickets at the wristband kiosk got through faster than any of the lines. I think they should separate ticket holders and people who need to purchase. It also wouldn't have hurt for them to invest in stanchions to organize lines to get it. It looked like a mob of people. Very chaotic and overwhelming especially because of covid.

Danny Barich

Great time

Giovannina Tripoli

Fantastic place for children and adults! Last week we brought our kids and enjoyed it so much. Parking is not a problem luckily, and if by any chance you forget your Speedo’s at home like one of my boys did, place is located within the mall and everything you’ll need for water activities you’ll find in the proximity of the water park. There’s a bar and the restaurant if you’re hungry, and after so many hours in the water you’ll probably need to eat something. Only reason why I give 4 stars is because we had to call the front desk at least 10 times before someone picked up the phone to provide us with information needed. Price is also decent and reasonable.

Paul Dumont

Busy during midday on weekday. Instructions not clear. Staff is friendly. Would of liked a lazy river

Jason Kowall

One of the best places to go visit in Edmonton! Especially in the winter when you could really use a break from the cold and enjoy some summer weather. Try and go during the week so it's not a crowded but even during peak time it's still enjoyable. I recommend getting yourself a little private cabana that they offer. For the price it's well worth having a place to sit and relax with privacy

JD DI

After a house fire they provided a cabana for our family so the kids could have some fun during a very difficult time. It was so memorable they still talk about how much fun they had today. Thank you. ????

Jordan

Me and my girlfriend had a good time for the most part. The day started off with a mass of people all waiting in line to get in. Having bought tickets online a month ago I was expecting to get in faster, maybe a specific line for prepurchased tickets, but no we had to wait in the same line as everyone else for general admission. Not a huge deal, line took 30 minutes or so to get through. We were uncomfortable with the proximity of that many people in one enclosed area, I recommend bringing a masks for the entrance area. Lockers work very well, albeit at $10 each they are not the cheapest things in the world. Pool and slides are awesome as is expected. Pool can be a bit crowded with tubes. Stick to the outer edges or prepare to push and be pushed. Slides themselves are great, but expect 30+ minutes minimum standing in line to use them. We didn’t grab chairs or eat food. Both looked extremely busy up to the last hour or 2 before closing. The bar areas are a nice touch for the older crowd. No lines for booze, stocked bars lots of good choices to get your tropical vacation juices flowing. We got a couple drinks each and walked around the park a couple times between trips to the pool/hot tub/slides. Overall it was a fun and memorable 5 hours at a gigantic tropical waterpark on a cold rainy day in northern Alberta. I look forward to doing it again, maybe on a weekday when it’s less busy so we can hit more than a couple slides.

chloe kim

fun wave pool, kids had an amazing time.

D. Gunson

Awesome place. Little heavy on the wallet, should offer family passes or something. And charging for lockers I think is a little much specially at $8 and $12 that is really over priced. But the water park is fun the wave pool is a good time. They accommodate to all ages which is nice.

mohsin maqsood

Great place for kids and Adult in Winter.

Darin Nicolson

It was best water park iv been too crazy waves.

Eugene Martin

Great Waterpark, can't wait to bring my daughter

Bobby Jo Calder

My husband and I have been going to the waterpark since we got together and before we had kids. This is the first time taking our kids (4 and 3) and it is an incredible place! Lots of options and great atmosphere!

Jay

Highlights: last 3 hours are reduced admission and staff seemed friendly. Feedback: line ups for the slides were ridiculously long and often confusing when multiple slides used the same staircase. Adding some additional signage along the way, would really help. Waves weren’t working and we didn’t find out until we were at the ticket counter. Also, sliced my finger open on the locker.

Alan

Really fun place, I would recommend getting a cabana or private section.

Lamas Kaddu

Amazing & fun water park

Chris Rogers

Went for toddler time with my wife and two young ones. Ticket price for the 4 of us was pretty reasonable compared to regular price, the trade off being limited hours during the week. Locker price is pretty high; $8 for a medium which is pretty small and $12 for a large which isn't that big although the multiple wristbands for the locker and unlimited re-entry was nice. Charging $1 per 60 seconds for the bathing suit dryer seems a bit ridiculous considering this is a standard offering for free at most rec centers and helps keep water off the floor. If you go, bring as little stuff as possible and plan to have a wet bag or wring out your stuff near a drain before packing up
