Walked through seen a lot of fun you can have, people were enjoying themselves. Great for families to get together
Galaxyland can be seen in two lights: a classic, or a relic. I lean more towards the latter due to the lack of much needed cosmetic updates. It is a nice tourist attraction, but it's not somewhere I personally would choose to go on the regular as the prices are just too steep. The Mind Bender is the main attraction due to it being the largest indoor triple looping rollercoaster, but there are lots of rides ranging from beginner-intermediate, as well as a few others for thrill-seekers.
E ery penny worth it. Great way to have fun with your kids. Would love to come back again.
today im going there but last time it was fun the rides were clean staff were friendly and the roller coasters are very smooth
Amazing staff the kids loved it ... but way to over crowed for being in a 4th wave .
Nice place for kids n lot of fun
Really loved it here my son had so much fun as the had alot of rides to keep him entertained and happy. He can't wait to get taller so that he can ride the bigger rides.
Our kids 3 and 6 and 46 absolutely loved it! The one thing i really liked is that our 3 year old is actually still 2 for another week and didn't have to pay - as well mom got to go on the rides with her for free as well. Most amusement parks charge moms to ride which is a cash grab I think. All indoor so the rides were in great shape and safety was a number 1 concern. Very impressed!
Always a great time with little ones. Price is a bit heavy for a faily of 4, however, a full day of fun. Excited about their new changes there. Also, we have a 2 and 5 year old. There are rides for both of them. Some rides require a chaperone ticket, which is an extra $18, and some require a chaperone, however you have to pay full price....
Amazing experience and friendly staff. My daughter loves it
Fun placde to explore with your family and friends, and remeber to get a full day pass.
Vary nice, beautiful and enjoyable place for all, cna and enjoy with families
As a 50 year old man not the best but for my grandkids it's heaven
It has tons of fun because the mall is in galaxyland
Closed mind bender roller coaster
Great place to chill on a weekend alone because u have no friends
In winter it is a really great place to spend family time
Would be 5 stars if the big Rollercoaster was in function...
It has become meh! Is in need of a complete makeover and better rides.
Been going here since I was a kid and it’s always fun. For sure need to ride the mind bender it’s probably one of the best parts
We miss the Galaxyland due to Covid. Very expensive. Need to pay 31$+gst!! To be able to just enter.
Cool place for have fun in winter...
A great place to date, you can smile, scream and sweat with the one you love here! The ghost walk and swing hammer was so stoking and memoriable!
A place to go now that life begins to return to normal.
Having been closed for the remodeling I had hoped for better.
Get a day pass here. Much more worth it than buying individual tickets
Good entertainment
What a great idea and a great way to burn off some steam! West Edmonton mall is the biggest mall in Canada, North America for that matter and it's only fitting to have these crazy places to let your kids loose and your inner child too. There are two main parks or play areas. The water park which has over 27 different slides or galaxyland, more like a theme park with rides and interactive play areas. My kids had a great time and we all got a great sleep that night. If you have smaller younger ones you can go on the ride with them, some rides not at all so decide about the day pass before you buy.
Quite crowded.. many attractions for kids and teens. The staff so helpful and cooperated..
Awesome new ride
My kids loved it. So many rides was an awesome time. The only down fall we went on the swings and the operator was more o interested I. Checking his hair out and talking with his buddy that it took am extra tem minutes to get going amd it was hard for all the kids to sit there
I took my step kids to Galaxy Land, we spent 7 hours on rides and events with in the park. The all day pass was well worth it. The staff were very good and also provided help when needed. Definatly worth the time spent.
It was very fun
Free kid's under 2 years old, but accompanying adult has to pay? I wouldn't ride on the train because I want to. So if I take my kid on the kids plane I get to ride on the plane to, even if I don't fit? The operator said since I am going on …
4-5 rides were shut down. Should make the wristbands a bit cheaper when that happens, instead of charging full price. It's not like glaxyland doesn't make enough already
We had so much fun, kids loved it. Very big indoor amusement park. But except few rides for all rides kids must be 4 feet taller to go on... That was frustrating since my two kids were inches away and couldn't get on the rides they wanted to be on.
Fun fun
If you have kids, you'd love the place. If you don't, you'd still love the place!
Quiet, safe, clean, bright, fun, and there are always little changes and new things to enjoy. Lots of stollers to be patient with - just like Disneyland. Have a meeting point with your family members, in case you get separated. Have hand sanitizer on your person. Use lockers for jackets, I find it warm in there. The best thing is to drop the family at the door and park across the street in overflow parking.
so. so. fun!
Best place to recall our childhood and very spacious
Kids had so much fun. Its worth the long drive.
The day I went all the rides were running, but some days there may be a few being done maintenance done on (Which is expected). Quite crowded later in the day I recommend going around 10-11am so the lines are short and you can get a locker to put your bags in for later in the day. Also unless you only have a select few rides you plan on going on, you should get the all day pass so you don't need to worry about running out of points for taking rides.
It's to bad, because of Covid, some rides were down. But we all had a good time together ????
Galaxy land is a lot of fun, and a great place to check out for an indoor amusement park! The haunted house seems really cool, but I'm 21 years old and still too scared to go in. Hoping that one day I get over that fear. also i love the swings and the little train forever and ever.
So fun here for the kids and adults. Lots of good fun rides. You can spend a great amount of time and money here but its great for a fun family day. Love galaxyland always have.
Love ???????? it.
We came for the whole day, so we got day passes. We didn't have to wait for any rides first thing in the morning, but there were lines later in the day as the park filled up. The park is clean and well maintained. The staff seem well trained and quite professional.
Kids had lots of fun, not too much for adults and lots of closed rides.
there were no lines when we went but unfortunately there were some rides that were closed and we couldnt ride
We used to go here a lot, I always loved it.
Awesome palace for kids and even adults to spend their day of fun Just attended a birthday party. Kids had fun fun fun
It is a really great indoor amusement park, lots of fun! It is super memorable and is way better with friends.
Definitely a must when going inside the park. Its beautiful and there are rides available for all ages. I, myself can't decide if I had more fun just looking at the park or sitting in the rides.
Fun rides that'll keep you occupied all day. The prices are fair for what you get if you buy a day pass. Only buy tickets if you plan on going on only one or two rides. Lines were long for the galaxy orbiter so be prepared for that if you like that ride. Mindbender and space shot generally have short lines and you only have to wait one or two minutes each. Longer lines for the children's rides but nothing super long. Overall the park is clean but you might need to walk a bit to find a trash can.
It's really fun n great
Good value for your money but I wish a more accurate list of ride closures would have been beneficial as we were informed of 1 ride closure but more than a few were down. My kids still loved it though, and pitched a fit when it was time to leave!
It was fun but also long lines
Not into rides. Very busy. Good place for younger kids.
Its was amazing it cost $ 50 there is so many dangerous ride I just took 4 and I was almost shaking amazing experience
Was a great way to spend the day . Lots of rides and games for kids of all ages. Will be going back
My 5 year old daughter really likes this place and we try to include it in our Edmonton trips. There are usually good deals in the middle of the week to ride all the games, as many times as she want. There are also lots of rides for older ones.
We had a great day here. Was definitely pricey for 2 adults and to tall children under 12. But that is thanks to Covid-19. Also a few of the rides could have done with 2 attendants to speed up the lines. But to go back after 2+ years for us it was a good family outing!
Long line but lots of fun.
Galaxy Land is always fun. My last visit, the wait for rides was pretty short. A few of the classic rides were closed, but can’t hold that against them. Old favourites like the Flying Galleon,Swing of the Century and Quirks in the Works are great for everyone. No matter what kind of ride you like, you will find something at Galaxy Land.
Fun place for all ages
A giant indoor amusement park! What more do you need to know? It's got smaller and larger rides, plenty of games, and clean restrooms.
Wonderful experience with my kids but super expensive for a family of four. We went on a Friday when school was in (took the kids out of school) and spent 5 hours there. There was basically no wait for any ride and we all had a riot! I would say make a full day of it and it's worth the money.
This is really awesome You go see
Nice place to take the kids and spend the day indoors. It’s basically an old amusement park with carnival like games and rides. Classic carousel, train and swings nothing special. There’s a big soft play area which is nice but again there’s …
Good selection of rides. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Some areas could use a little more cleaning. It would be nice if they could expand the park and add more rides. That said, there is enough here to keep you busy for a full day. Lots of fun!
Excellent, Great Costumers Service, Very Clean Mentence
Galaxy land staff were excellent
Very over priced. My son and husband wanted to go on one ride. The mellower rollercoaster that lasts about 35 seconds. It cost them $20!!!! Come on people!! Not everyone wants to spend all day going on every ride. Make it more accessible to those who don't have hundreds of dollars to blow. We are very unimpressed to say the least.
Lots of fun for children, however, 5 rides were closed and the line ups for the big rides that were open, were long. Fairly expensive for a day experience with the family. Comming from New Brunswick, it was still a fun experience. The fact that it's in the mall is super cool too. Would recommend staying at the inn as I believe they offer stay and play bundles. In the park itself they offer no family rates. (Or was not known at the time). Not really covid friendly though, I must mention. Bring your own sanitizer and wear masks as there's not much for social distancing, if you worry about that kinda thing. Stay safe and sanitized , enjoy!
This is the place most loved by my kids in the West Edmonton mall. I personally love to join them and have some adventure too. Yet, I can say that the price is quite high when it comes to playing only the last 3 hours prior to closing. Another interesting option for my baby girl is the coined games where she spends sometime wiggling and having fun since she can't use many of the other available games. Overall, galaxy land is a palce to go, enjoy, and have fun for all the family
Great Indoor Amusement Park! Perfect for kids. First ride I recommend is the train as travels around the entire park and gives you an idea of the layout. Kids Play Park was the best I've been too. Perfect for a 5yo. The endless mazes and ball pits. It was impossible getting my little guy out of there. Best feature is every part of the Kids park is accessible to parents and to get out of the Kids Park you must to get buzzed out by the staff which is MUST in my opinion. Staff was very friendly and unlike many other amusement parks, they seemed to be extremely safety conscious.
It was so much fun!
Today was my first time walking around the amusement park in West Edmonton Mall. They have so many options of rides. I was impressed with the roller coaster; the drop is pretty good for being indoors. Also very impressed with the entertainment options in general: video games, basketball and many
I took my 3 year old son here to go to Galaxy Land and we had an absolute blast! There were 8 rides he could go on (he's about 41" tall) and he had the best time ever. The kids playplace was fun too, but it wasn't easy to keep up with him in there, which made it challenging to keep my eye on him.
Nice place with Covid-19 protocols in place. Friendly staff and on top of things.
Great place to work.
unless you have a small kid. nothing to see here really
This was an outstanding place to spend a day. There's no other indoor amusement park like it and it was a great way to get out of the weather and have some fun. The roller coasters are a blast!
Awesome fun park inside a mall!!!
Wow. SO MANY PEOPLE. didn't think it would be THAT busy on a Tuesday. However still enjoyable. Go when they first open because it's not as busy, by the time you hit 2pm it's a mad house.
Amazing place for kids!
Most of the rides was not in service. Nothing new to see.
New rides put in for anyone who us local will enjoy again
They are great fun for the whole family.. But it is a tad on the expencive side. Rides range from $10-$20 per person per ride so u get 2 kids on one ride that's 3 points your looking at $30.00 for them to ride one ride once .. So unless you can afford day passes then I wouldn't suggest going with your kids . would have gave it 5 stars if it wasn't for this ridiculous price issue
Just not enough really, stayed for like only two hours and repeated every ride twice just to get the time in, still fun tho
Pre Hallooween get together at the amusement park! ????
I got there 30 minutes before closing, but was able to get onto a couple of the marquee rides (the roller coaster, the new rolling thing at the front entrance into the mall) and it was a blast! If I had more time I'm sure I would've found a way to spend more time/money there. Highly recommended for the entire family and kids of all ages.
Galaxy land is awesome! A little expensive for such a dated venue, but it's fun and lines are never too long. Worth a trip!
Impressive engineering...
Despite some of the rides being closed, I always love going here, have a lot of memories here.
It's a great option for winter fun, specially for the little ones.
Swing Of The Century Was My First Ride And Last Ride
I love this indoor play park ????
It's a little old, but still fun and enjoyable. Things are quite spread out, would be helpful to have a map to show where to go next! The granddaughter enjoyed herself!
What a great place. Lots of fun for the whole family
There's not so many places in whole Canada that are nearly like Galaxyland. The best thing is that it's indoors, allowing you to come here any time of year. It's always clean and neat, the experience is marvellous. Though it gets old pretty fast, you will have tons of fun first two times, but after that even the biggest rollercoaster (Mind Bender) won't be that exciting anymore, comparing to some other parks with enormous rollercoasters, much like in Montreal. It is still a nice place to have fun in while visiting Edmonton.
We enjoyed our time. I felt it was too crowded. But otherwise a good experience.
The kids had fun. well Maintained had no problems. lines/ wait were not bad. cotton candy in the shapes of animals the kids loved them some of the rides were offline but the reduced price of admission reflected that.
Indoor amusement park with rides and games in the West Edmonton Mall. Opened since 1983 some parts are showing its age but there are some new rides added in recent years. There are about 25 rides in total with varying height restrictions, best for ages 5 and up for best value. There are also lockers available for rent. Cost: $49 daily pass (best deal) since tickets are about $5 each and most rides take 2 tickets per person. You can also get discounted passes if you buy online or at most hotels and the mall. Tip: parents with toddlers 2 years or younger can purchase the chaperone pass for $18. Twilights passes are $32 for last 3 hours at the park or Value passes at $32 M-Th. We found the value passes to be good but lineups tend to be longer. Hours: 12-6pm weekdays, 10-9pm Saturday, 10am-7pm Sundays
Lots of fun!
If you're looking to spend family time, a great place to visit, many fantastic rides. To bad the mind bender wasn't operational.
Kids had a blast on the rides.
They say it's the largest indoor amusement park in the world. It is possible, but it is worth considering that it is not for adults at all. Only one middle slide, and everything else is for children. But your children will be completely happy here. For $49 per person, they will be busy all day. There are no people on weekdays. No queues! The child will not be pulled out until the evening!
Some really cool rides in the building. They have one of the highest g force rollercoasters in the world and it is also the largest indoor rollercoaster in the world. Definitely worth taking a spin on some of the rides they have available
Amazing rides... Tons of stores to choose from
It's a great place to spend a a good time and there is all Services that you looking for Feel free to take your family for so much fun
So congested all the rides.
Now and again I like taking the trip up north to Edmonton with my boys in tow.although others will just agree I think Edmonton has a lot to offer. Especially when it comes into an indoor theme park. Next time we will be sure to check out the indoor water slide at West Edmonton mall.
Prices are out of this world. I’d give a 5 star if prices could be dropped. How can I rate when I don’t have enough to try the rides out.
Not worth the money, bought day pass, there for 5 hours and kids only got on roughly 5 rides... multiple rides down and overcrowded.
It was great until it suddenly filled up way over capacity, it was shoulder to shoulder mouth breathers. we got the F out of there asap but we still got sick anyway. imo galaxyland should limit the number of patrons allowed in at any given time.
Looks really dated, but still lots of fun. It feels like it's expensive (and it is), but you get your value out of it. The ride workers were helpful and courteous and the place was generally clean. The rides were great. Bring your own snacks.
Amazing attractions but the go karts are a bit pricey and rollercoaster is closed!
This place is awesome. Busy but worth it. The wait per ride is not too bad during weekdays but longer during weekends. If there's anything that I would like them to improve, that is the cleanliness of the kids playground. Dusty and smelly …
Our 3 year old had a great time. The ladies at the ticket booth were helpful, friendly, took time to listen to what we wanted and helped us figure things out. Some of the playground equipment was closed and)or blocked off in some spots; …
I visited this place a few years ago.. doing the review now because as I was going through my gallery I came across some gems. Well better late than never. Such beautiful memories. Such a huge place it was fantasy....I would love to go back and relive those memories again.... this is a definite must do. .
with nice slow rides for kids and "mind-bending" rides for thrill seekers this place has something for everyone.
No option to buy one or two rides only. All day passes for all rides seems a waste for some of us who like to browse around and only get on few rides.
overpriced, I pay 36$ for 5 years old child for last 3 hours before closing and there was just like 4 different rides for that age of child
Long lines, but fun rides.
I have so many fond memories of spending birthdays and parties here at Galaxyland as a kid and I'm never let down that as an adult it's even more fun because I can ride everything! Staff is great, informative and focused on keeping people safe and having fun.
The world's largest indoor amusement park. What else can I say? :)
Super fun. Super expensive.
fkin awesome! just go in the mornings and on weekdays to avoid large crowds!
Ok but expensive and crowded
Long waits to the rides, no AC.
This is the good place for the kids can play and fun for whole day
As always Galaxyland continues to be an Edmonton staple. I have brought visitors on more than 3 occasions just to SEE the park let alone go on any rides. There's a great assortment of ride styles for all riders to enjoy! The mind bender is of course my favourite. Followed by the one that goes through most of Galaxyland. Will always have a place in my heart for this place.
Excellent
I enjoy Galaxyland, it's a fun place to bring kids. Of course it helps when they are tall enough to enjoy most the rides !! Always busy, but when we went, barely a wait in any line; but one ! That was pretty impressive, I will continue to come back here.
A new ride I hadn't seen before! The mindbender was not operating when we arrived but when we inquired about tickets for it the ticket sellers said it was open. So we went to stand in line and were told it was closed for maintenance and would reopen in a half hour. Waited for another 20 minutes and it opened. After, we went to purchase our picture from the mindbender and bought a fountain pop. We were told very sternly there were no refills on the pop. I asked sarcastically if we did take a refill did the ticket sellers have to pay for it out of their own pocket, he looked at me, puzzled and said no. I told him his behaviour towards informing is there were no refills indicated that he was responsible for paying for it if we did. English wasn't his first language so I don't think he understood where I was coming from but it seemed kind of silly. Considering at the waterpark the offer free pop all day long. Regardless, overall a good place for kids and families.
Fairly good place
A day in this amusement place is never enough. My kids love it. Tip, check the rides first cause if the kid can go alone, you don't need to pay for a chaperone fee unless you want to go in rides as well, then you need to pay for general entrance fee..
Family fun!! Chairs and benches at strategic locations for Parents to catch a "break". Prices not too high. Good fun for days or Nights like 7pm tll Midnight!!
Galaxy land made me feel like a child again. I love it!
With the restrictions gone, this place is packed with people like never before and the whole of west edm mall. If you believe in the pandemic, take extra care. If you dont, this is the place to join the pack ????
Too many rides, not enough employees I wanted to take my nieces and nephew on the bumper cars but no one was there to let us on. We waited a good 10 minutes, yet no one bothered to show up. We went to another ride and guess what..... same ordeal :/ what a disappointment
Great place for children. Price of rides is quite expensive however it’s great for a rainy afternoon. The big rollercoaster is a favourite for many and there are quite a lot of rides for younger children! Would recommend if you’re looking for something to do in the winter
Nice for kids! Enjoyed almost every ride!
Not big like an amusement park but we had lots of fun! We never thought about getting a day ticket and I tell you, that is the cheaper choice to go with! I almost went for a 4 star review because of one guy who wasn't quite into customer service. BUT that guy also refund us money back without a problem!
Needs more space kind of crowded.
Very loud and very busy. Fun times. Check it out
Fun from four to forty. Prices vary based on designed experience but the service desk helped me find a solution for my afternoon date with a 3yo. I come back once every couple years. We always have fun.
Must to go with kids! Really nice place. Minuses - some of the rides were closed, lines are huge. Staff is very nice.
Lots of fun! The rollercoaster is loud so it's a little hard to hear when walking around!
It's awesome for kids but go during the week it's way to packed on the weekends. Pair with a room at the hotel there it's just an awesome stay cation for kids .
It's pricey and crowded...but the rides are really fun!
Galaxy land seems to be going down hill lately. Allot of the rides that I considered to be the most fun are no longer there and it's hard to time when attractions like the mind bender will be open
This is awesome in any weather as it was in the mall. Although the noise level was quite high as the sound bounces off the walls. Lol
Kids and adults all had a great time. Lockers were available for rent, and there were fountains by the washrooms. Staff was very helpful when we had questions. Most rides had a place to put your backpack or footwear while you went on a ride. The rope climbing needed runners, not even buckled sandals was allowed.
High priced, very long lines for any main attraction. Major attractions are currently down. (MindBender, Havok)6
So much fun! So happy it’s back up and running!
Decent enough place for kids to come and have fun. A bit pricey though for families. They do have a really great play place.
Expensive but fun
Great place for burning off energy. Kids loved it, highly recommended,
Great place to take kids when cold winter hits us outside. There is so much to do and lots of different rides for all ages. We are local and bought annual passes. We go here once a week with our kids. Clean bathrooms. Only suggestion would be to have more water bottle filling stations. I believe there is only one maybe two in the entire park.
Such a fun place for all ages. galaxy orbiter is a must ride. its worth the wait in the line up.
Very cheap and very cool rides scary as well please come here❤️❤️!!!
What a horrible experience my family had today at Galaxyland at the West Edmonton Mall, Galaxyland didn’t staff their park appropriately for the toddler rides and causing us to wait for 25min at each ride. …
Had a great time with my nephews but some rides were down for maintenance.
It’s not a 5 star because I thought they had more rides for adults. But totally worth doing at least once.
Back in business and super busy!
Great location for kids, expensive but a good way to keep kids busy. A great monthly gift for chores or other rewards.
Not many rides for toddlers. Only 2
Amazing place! Never so anything like this. We spend there all day long and kids loved it! Reasonable number of options for kids different ages and adults. We will come back again. Highly recommended!
Each ride had a 40+ minute wait. Ended up going on the rides.. the unlimited ride bracelet was a waste of money
Amazing amusement park for kids and families... sort of like an indoor Wonderland... the variety of rides and attractions is great.
A lot of rides were closed and the children's playground under construction
Good mall.
I have enjoyed myself, with my children and in a couple of years my grandchildren this indoor extravaganza and fair is not too bed for cost if you go for an extended afternoon and/or evening. W The last time we were here for a regular day afternoon. Multiple rides shared one operator and there were no sign when the operator returned. This made the waiting little less bearable. As usual the operators are very safety conscious.
Love it, such a fun place, good variety of rides for all ages. Can be very busy crowds but some of the ride lines you can walk straight on. A very cool and colourful feature to add to West Ed mall
Best Place to Hangout in Edmonton. My 13 year old, 8 year old and 5 year old went there 2 days back to back for over 5 hours each day and they still didn't had enough. For Parents its safe as the location is inside the mall.
They never measured my nephew and we went within the last hour. As a result he could not go on more than 2 rides. We had to get a refund
The 2 best rides were down. One main reason for going. Pre bought tickets, so didn't know this. Not impressed about that at all. They could let you know on line. But didn't.
Back since my first review. More rides closed, only 2 really great rides for my older kids, and cause all the other really good rides were closed line up was 45-1hr long to get on the only 2 thrill rides left. Such a waste of full price tickets. They really should give rain checks or discounted prices when so many rides are closed. Definitely not worth the price. My little ones had a good time. Most of their rides were open.
its an indoor theme park ... plenty of rides for kids and adults of all ages. some have larger lines than others.
Pretty good but avoid holidays and even religious ones you might get two or three ridesi in.
Good place for people of all ages. Many rides ranging in excitement level from mild to extreme ???? Just hope that all these amusement parks reduce their prices
I wish that they would monitor how many bracelets they are selling because we only got to go on 13 turns on rides total for the entire time we were there. Line ups were WAY to long for little kids to wait in. The rides we went on were the little bikes, tea cups, moser, little red roller coaster, dragon roller coaster, train and boat. The rides themselves were fun but didn't get to do much. In the kids area you couldn't even walk through.
It's ok if your younger then 18 but other then maybe 4 rides it's not worth it for someone my age with no kids. But none the less was fun to walk around and remember when it was actually pretty fun all those years ago. Wish they made more effort in cleaning and maintaining the place.
So many rides fit into this area, it's unbelievable, even a train for the little ones! Fun for everyone!
Fun filled Centre. Loads of fun activities to engage in with family and friends. Kids loved being here.
The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it is unbelievably expensive. The rides are always well maintained, and most of them look brand new. The staff are friendly and helpful and it is a great place for kids. We always enjoy our time here.
Lines aren't to bad. New and cool rides. Depends on the day for business. 45 for a bracelet. 15 bucks for a single ride otherwise so bracelet is worth it
I did not ride on any rides as I was just strolling through for the first time. To be honest, I didn't expect it to be that great until I walked through it for …
Despite the lines always worth it
I really enjoy this place, happy memories
Omg!! A kid's paradise!!
Get an unlimited pass, during the week, it's a smoking deal. The rides are few, but will have you wanting more. The games are played/payed separately, well stocked and placed. Loud environment, keep that in mind for kids. Great staff. Weekends are reported to be a bit more $$$ and much busier, so go through during the week if possible.
Can't really think of any other indoor amusement parks so they have no real competition anywhere close. Lots of rides to enjoy and the employees are normally super chill which makes waiting in some lines more enjoyable. Definitely recommend getting the upgraded passes though for kids as single day passes can get really expensive if you go frequently
Looks like fun but their admission rates are unreasonable and there's no accessibility there for riders so I couldn't tell you how the rides are as I'm not welcome there.
Not busy, so was a perfect day for us.
Perfect place for the family. Rides to suit everyone. New cotton candy stand that makes animal shaped ones was awesome. Always a good time to go when people are selling tickets for fundraising. Got our tickets for $15 each!
My friends and I rode the Mindbender (triple loop roller coaster) and had an absolute blast! While at Galaxyland, we rode only this ride – and found it the perfect level of intensity, excitement, and duration. Cost was ~ $16 (CAD) per person, very worth the price, especially given that we wanted only to ride one very intense ride. == Nerdy people, continue reading == For any roller coaster tycoon fans (AYYO), this ride is comparable to hyper-twister roller coaster with step vertical G's and large downward twists which convert to zero gravity / airtime momentum at the upturn of an incline. The ride is compact, close together with very little wasted vertical space – an extreme thrill if you've ever tried to puzzle one of these on your own time. ????
Great staff! Friendly and easy to get along with. The rides are also awesome
Stress free
Great place to take young and old. Check the website to see what rides are open and the restrictions to ride. Policy changed recently requiring adults to buy tickets in order to chaperone little ones on the train ????
Awesome
Never regretted coming here. The Mindbender and Space-shot are two rides i would definitely recommend. Lines got a bit long later in the day, but all in all was an amazing day.
So much fun place for kids ????
West Edmonton mall, also a beach with waves. I went for a skate and lunch.
Great park for small or older children. The park offers several different rides. There is also a food court located right off the park with great choices for a quick meal.
Great indoor theme park! They have the roller coaster for $15 which is great. If u live outside of Edmonton don’t miss that. Kids were having a lot of fun.
Ever since the casino extension above GalaxyLand this place has been a complete mess.
Way too expensive!!!! The prices work out to $5 a ride for 1 ticket and $10 for a 2 ticket ride. Not at all worth the money when the rides are just over a minute long. The rides and equipment are old and haven’t been updated in years and in some cases 35 years when I went as a child. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Very fun place to be at. The rides are pretty amazing for an indoor amusement park, especially the mindbender and spaceshot.
Awesome place to have in a mall. But the weekday hours are silly. 12-6? When you know people stay at the hotel just to come for the attractions? Should be open daily until 8pm at least.
Very fun
This place is incredible and it's so much fun!
Great place to have fun with family
Good place to make happy kids.
Galaxyland is a fun place to enjoy time with friends and family. All the rides are fun and for what this park offers in a small area is amazing. I thought some of the main rollercoasters were a bit more jerky coasters should be (compared to Disneyland coasters last year) or maybe because of the constraint design I felt banged around a bit more. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars, since everything else was great. The staff were all great including a few that were exceptional and you could tell they loved their job.
Very good for kids and even adults can enjoy.
July 9, 2021. Always amazed by the rides that are under one roof. You have to come here at least once to see one of the largest indoor amusement parks in the world. It’s an indoor amusement park. The rides in here are awesome. Its got the largest indoor roller coaster in the world that in itself is amazing. There is so much going on that your head gets turned around all the time. This place is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and attentive. This is just a cool place. I have been coming here for many years and have always enjoyed the experience.
Lots of rides. The line up wasn't long...
I really liked how many rides were but one thing is if you hat Being around a lot of people you are not going to like it that much but overall I get in 4 stars ????????????
Awesome rides. Loved the space shot????
Fun place for kids n adults gud entertainment place
Extremely expensive for the little children. Wished there was a larger discounted rate for under 6 since they wouldn't be able to do more than a handful of rides. They did enjoy what rides they could do though.
Amazing place for family and couples.
Awesome i'm so happy to be there again !! But so amazing there !!!
loved it. staff was great. like being able to save the points we didn't use for the next visit.
Good place for kids
Always a happy moment for me and my daughter. I will always treasure these memories of her from the time that she was able to walk and climb around the playground, to her being able to ride the train and merry-go-round and much more.
Best Amusement Park in All of Alberta a Must do
It was AWESOME! Both our first time in Galaxyland and we went on both operational roller coasters, unfortunately the Mind Bender was not in service, but we went on many of the rides over and over again!! Was so much fun, definitely coming back again as we are from out of town! Great experience for the amount paid!!
Took my 4 years and 1 year old sons ! They enjoyed it. My wife enjoyed it mostly. But I would recommend to stay away from roller coaster...that's gonna hurt someone someday. Enjoy Havoc..looks scary but it is fun !! Friendly attendants... very good experience for us.
5 stars to the staff, did a great job of ensuring safety. I've never seen a fair with such careful checks. 3 stars to the rides as many were down for maintenance, especially the large rollercoaster was not in working order. We were really looking forward to it. 4 stars for how fairly quiet it was.
A fun place for sure! Doesn't take to many rides to pay for the day pass, definitely the best value for money. Very loud though, could use some sound dampening maybe?
If its your first time its worth the visit but its over crowded and overpriced.
After the pandemic, it is a bit higher prices.
I had a lot of Fun ????
Almost passed out on the 3 loop rollercoaster, had a lot of fun.
Awesome park! Great staff! Perfect for a weekend day activity!
I can’t visit Edmonton without enjoying this great facility with my wife and our four kids. It is one of the best indoor amusement parks I’ve ever seen. Thanks to all of those who are adding value to our life. I enjoy playing the different roller coster games that this land has.
Great spot, kids loved it. Tons of rides, spend all day here and not get bored
Too small. Ventilation isn't adequate. Too expensive. Long lines. Zzzzzzzz many rides closed. Not for the seasoned parent.
Had so many great memories coming here as a child but didn't make any memories this time with my kids. Excited about doing the Mind Bender roller coaster, online website said it was up & running, only to get there and the ride was not in operation. It was extra busy the day we show up (some kind of religious holiday) It was shoulder to shoulder, impossible to social distance! Waited over 30 mins to an hour to get on rides, every line up had disrespectful people letting friends/family cut in and staff would just look the other way. The rides that were working, they would only fill half, which only made the wait longer! Waste of time & money, we were there from open until close and only got on 8 rides!? (ride all day bracelets are $39) Absolute disappointment!
Awesome!!!... My kids love it. There is a lot of fun and games. It was fantastic!!!.. My kids are finally (exactly) the right height to go on the rides. It was wonderful so many rides for all of the different sizes and ages. I arranged my daughter 's Birthday here and I bought Birthday package including 6 kids in this package. All the kids were so happy. They spent a great time.
I don't know why they don't give us a sticker instead of stamping on our hand. If someone has covid that way they can spread the disease.
Very fun place and easy to spend an entire day at. Six or seven big rides for the not so little people, but most of the rides are for smaller kids. The lines weren't too bad either.
Always a good time. Lots of rides and fun games. Fun house is good for young kids but the scary version next door is for a little bit older.
Loved it! Everyone had a blast.
I took my 2 grandkids here as a treat from their recently late grandfather. They are here from Ontario. They thoroughly enjoyed the day and have memories to last for years to come.
Great place for all ages!!!
There are a lot of rides and things to do expertly packed into a relatively small space. You won't spend all day walking like at outdoor amusement parks. There is also something for all ages and the food court is right outside the amusement park in the mall. Worth a visit!
Great
Loved it. Quirks in the Works was a fun little ride hidden away and the bumper cars were the best bumper cars I've been on. My kids, 10 and 8, had plenty to do. I would try to avoid the Galactic Rodeo. The waiter is painful.
Lots of rides were closed but overall still had a great experience
Beautiful, but too much people in this moment.
A lot of closed rides. Doing what they could with the pandemic I guess. Kids had fun
Nice place to enjoy for all ages. Galaxy land should work on concept of annual pass similar to Wonderland Ontario . Make it more affordable
It's awesome because of there variety of rides, and there is a wide variety of games
Super busy. Didn't stay
So much fun...everywhere you look.
When we were here half the rides were closed and there was long lineups for what was open... so in the end wasnt worth the daypass price, hopefully stuff opens up again
A large amount of rides to go on, and not too pricey as long as you stay for a while. I would have gone on all of them but i unfortunately do not do well with lots of spinning ????. The rides i did go on i enjoyed a lot though! If you go here, i recommend the Space Shot, the 7D interactive Movie, and the one rollercoaster that spins a bit.
Good times. Guy running the coaster was super slow
Expensive and packed solid. Ain't no 6ft social distancing there.
Rides are nice. Happy to not get tangled up in all the ropes hanging around. The polar bears are very fun to ride, just don't get too close. They are still animals.
Lots of fun for the kids and adults. There's a discount on tickets if you book online.
Fun for the whole family.
Lots of fun for a decent price!
Kids love this place
Haha, didn't go cause big roller coaster closed.
They changed the pricing after reopen. Costing $30 for adult and $25 for kids. I have two kids under 3. Going in with my wife and two kids cost $110 plus GST. While all my daughter want, is to play with the merry go around ONCE!! It will cost $115.5 total!! During this pandemic in this poor economy. The current pricing is a robbery for low income people!! Thank you for making my 3 years olds cry
It was really fun. My son enjoyed over there.
This is an absolutely blast for any family with young kids to spend an afternoon in! All kinds of rides but the ultimate one there, the mind ended, is only for the most daring!! Bring your wallet mom and dad, you'll need it.
They have a good assortment of rides, so there is a ride for anyone. They have a big roller coaster (the Mindbender), so if you're interested in a big ride, this is the place to go!
Always a blast! First time back since covid and while the wait is sometimes long it's plenty worth the cost (if you like going on rides that is). Only gripe was that towards the end of the day there seemed to be some malfunction that led to patrons waiting forever for the "trouble" ride and there was many unhappy parents. We ended up skipping it as an employee was seemingly frantically flipping through a manual, why not call a supervisor? Anyway this is the only problem I've ever encountered 9/10 times it's been a great experience every time I'm there!
Enjoyable rides. Good times. Places to rest...all in all ..great entertainment.
Fun, changing and repeatable but fun. Kids had a blast and the shops locally are great for back to school.
It wasn't over crowded
enjoyful place
Great selection of rides for various ages. Lots of lockers to keep your stuff safe while you play. Food court is close by.
Galaxyland is a fun and highly recommend place to go. It has children's rides, Arcades and even a few scarier rides for the older. It is much fun and a exciting place to be.
Had alot of fun today, rides were good and was still enjoyable even though maintenence was happening.
Great for public
Love the entertainment, pretty decent all day pass fee, loads of fun
Good time with the kids. Everything was open except the little red roller coaster. First time on the big coaster for my son. Good safety practices but they certainly take their time.
On your first weekend open for regular hours post-covid lockdown, at least make sure all the rides are up and running.
Awsome place to take the family
The family loved it. Will definitely go back in the future
Huge variety of rides for every age. Great family activity for the day. We got there at noon and had a 6 year old and 14 year old with us. Didn't end up leaving until close at 7pm.
My friends from the US were impressed by the amount of rides and attractions West Edmonton Mall's Galaxyland provides and by the size and speed of the big indoors rollercoaster.
Kids go nuts for this place.
My kids had a blast. There is something for all ages.
Nice place for kids to have fun..
Too expensive for the quality of rides and the small amount of rides that were actually open. Renovations and improvements are badly needed.
Decent time a bit pricey but worth it to keep the kids busy
Great place to take the kids
I don't need to say anything to promo them, no matter adult or kids love to go once or twice or even more time in a year! But some popular rides take too long for line up. Maybe try to go not in a busy weekends.
The ticket was 30 dollar for unlimited rides per person. They were asking for vaccination proof for entry .Many rides are currently closed hence not many option to make choices special with small kids under 8.
This place is a must for those of you who love amusement parks. The rides are very fun and the tickets are reasonably priced. The Mind-bender Roller Coaster is still one of my favourites! Overall, the place seems safe and well-maintained/clean. It’s also important to note how fast the lines are; very quick waiting times for an amusement park which is very nice. Being an indoor amusement park, this place really impresses me. The convenience is great, especially because it’s too cold outside for amusement parks. I would definitely recommend going here if you have not already.
First time going here in many moons. Employees were friendly and my daughter had a blast. No complaints.
Great place for kids any age!
Kids and adults will enjoy over 27 rides, multiple games throughout and the Arcade. Entrance to Gourmet Court with lots of selections for a quick stop for lunch and back to your day of fun.
Best indoor theme park I have ever been to. Sweet selection of rides, good fun for the family, and lines weren’t too long considering it was holidays
It's adequate. Definitely needs an update. Paint is chipping/old on the walls, rides are fun but outdated, main Rollercoaster was not available and running. As someone with 2 children ages 3 and 5, you are looking at just shy of $100 as you have to have a chaperone and pay for them to go with the young ones.
A fun day for all
Amazing to see. First time I'd been here. Might have even been fun to go on some rides, but didn't get a chance - we were only walking through to get to the mall.
Such a memorable place to be with family and friends! Great for dates/night out, many fun activities! This is the place my wife and I first held hands when we went on one of our first date a few years back and will never forget how much fun we had here!
My husband and I went to Galaxyland on a Monday (low season). The prices were very reasonable in our opinion! The staff were super friendly and the rides were a blast! Can't wait to bring the kids back when they're a bit older. ????
First time being there. Took my daughter and we had a blast. There are wait times for the rides yes, but not as bad as the exhibition in saskatoon. Also you can leave and go shop and come back and still ride the rides.
Went to Galaxyland with my son. We had a blast eating popcorn and going on rides. He's young and loved the play park inside. We spent most of our time there.
Amazing place, love it! I really love all the entertaining rides they have there. Great place to go with friends and to spend quality time with each other!!!
Some good video games, fun rides.
Good fun. Better than Calaway Park for sure, but you gotta get there early and book your tickets in advance of you can to beat the long lines and extremely slow safety checks
Would be nice if they adjusted the cost as many rides weren't operated.
A nice stop to wrap-up our time at WEM. It was a little disappointing that not everything was up and running but it seems as though they're rebranding so that's to be expected.
Just a all round poor experience. I paid for a picture of my kids Rollercoaster and never received it and the staf did seem to care.
I took my boys 5 and 8 years old and they had so much fun. My 5 year old wasn't tall enough for most of the rides which was disappointing but my 8 year old had a blast! We went mid day during the week so it wasn't super busy and he was able to get one the rides fairly quickly which was great.I like how this place is indoor so we can enjoy it even when its winter. Just wish the pass is a little cheaper
Was fun. Very busy
Fun rides for all ages.
Had an amazing time!!! So glad that it is open after so long, and the wait was worth it!!!!! It was so much fun!!!! And even thought some rides were closed like the Havoc it was still awesome as majority of them were open!!!
So much to do. The rides are great. Big kids and little kids will have a blast!
Had lots and lots of fun with family
Came for a family getaway and paid full amount to find out half the rides were closed.
One of the best place to go when I visit Edmonton..very clean..staff very friendly..
Under construction, makes it hard for small kids. Limited things for them to ride.
This is in the Huge Edmonton Mall. Great activity for kids
Perfect for the entire family!! My son loved his 3rd birthday party
Kids had so much fun, staff was so helpful, I didn't see as much sanitation stations, bring your own I guesa
Awesome fun place to take the family!
Very crowded but overall a nice experience!
Constant broken down rides, dirty, staff not wearing or enforcing masks during covid. Not like it used to be and not worth going.
Very fun, not too busy!
Always a fun time. Very pricey compared to the past. Unfortunate but still a fun place!
5 out of 27 rides not working, but no compensation to offset. A fair outcome would be 20% reduction. Staff are tired and non enthusiastic to say the least. Overall not a good experience.
Overpriced for what you get, but the kids love it and that's what's important
There was nothing for children 5 and under. Don't buy day passes. NOT WORTHY
It’s a decent place to take kids who are over 43”. If your child is smaller than that then I don’t really see the value as they won’t be able to go on most of the rides. My biggest pet peeve though was that when you arrive you have to wait in line with other people who haven’t purchased a ticket even though we purchased our tickets online. They should have a line where online purchasers can just go through rather than having to wait. Also, I think it’s really expensive given the amount of rides available.
Quite disappointed with our most recent experience. At the ticket booth, we told the clerk that we wanted just enough points for three rides. We get through the first two rides (which were small as they were for my baby), no lineups. halfway to our third and final ride, we hear an announcement that they are closing in 30 minutes. The clerk never mentioned they would be closing soon. So we ran to our final ride just to be told that they wont let us on the ride! I tell the guy that we literally just purchased the points and he still refused and sent us to the info desk. The guy at the desk said to go back and say "so and so says we can go on." so we run back and manage to get into the lineup. While standing in the line, a lady and her kids get off of the ride and hop back into the lineup, and the guy who said we couldn't get on, then allows 5 or so more customers onto the ride. We managed to finally get on the ride but my son and I were so upset by this point that it wasn't nearly as fun as I had hoped for his first rollercoaster ride. So incredibly disappointing.
Long wait! No free food.
They seem to be currently mid way through a rebrand (Hasbro sponsorship) so there is construction all over and rides indefinitely down for maintenance (like mind bender and carnival). The staff are managing the transition very well. Its expensive, but everything at west Ed mall is expensive (tourist trap), so we don't go often.
It was an amazing experience!!
Pricing needs to be looked at. Not much option for family Pricing. You don't get your money worth $40 flat fee per child with height restrictions on rides. And it's a guessing game buying per ticket since each ride takes different amount of tickets. Money grabbing at the end of the day.
Always better to go during weekdays to avoid long lineups and crowds. My 7 and 3 year old love going there when we are in Edmonton.
Hotel sold us passes that expired a day early, staff helped us sort it out. Sad not all of the rides were available Christmas Day.
The crystal mirrors .... Awesome
My daughter lost her mind it was so much fun ????
Edmonton mall wonderful place to shop, eat, have fun
Quite disappointing. Many of the tides that qe came for are closed and a few closed down or were hugely delayed because of malfunctions throughout the day. Consequently lines are very long because you have the same number of ppl competing for half the rides. Also, they charge the same high prices for tickets despite having so many big rides shut down. Consider going somewhere else or waiting u til they get their stuff together and are ready for the public. Our 4 kids were Disappointed. :(
Very nice place to play for kids
Very good
Great for the whole family.
Great place to enjoy with your kids. Lot’s of games and great rides to try to. Kids and adult will surely going to have a great time together.
Love the roller coaster
The rides are so fun and the kids love it there’s also lots of rides that my 5yrs old can do. But the only thing is that the bump car rides don’t allow my 5yrs old ride it. I hope do something about it. But the experience is awesome. :)
Spectacular, super entertainment for the family's . God safety attractions.
Fun for the whole family or with friends.. Great place for fun and amusement at a pretty great price!! Plus its attached to the greatest indoor mall in Canada for even more fun!! Plan a whole day for this, you wont want to leave once you go to Galaxyland!!
Great rides, great park for indoors, awesome day for the family with varying rides to keep everyone happy for an afternoon. Although with the family attraction it attracts more kids making it busier and louder. Park could be a little more cleanly (sanitized more frequently). line organization supports are often too short and in some cases aren't adjustablefor varying levels of occupancy. Park rivals smaller 6 flags, but considering its indoor and part of a good shopping center awesome little park. Overall great little park at a fair price.
I have to say that I was disappointed. I seen all the articles about the "new" branding of Galaxyland, but other than one repainted ride, nothing has changed.
Super expensive and super crowded!
Super fun!! Line ups can be a bit rough tho haha
Love love this place, fun activities for the kids and adults.
Good atmosphere. Fun rides.
Very good entertainment place for childrens
4 rides weren't working and it was really crowded. Rides were fun and the staff was great!
Was a fun time with the family
The kids had fun and will never get bored of it
They did a great job considering they are under construction and have to deal with the covid rules. We had lots of fun.
The girls and boys all had a great time!
A great indoor theme park experience. I'm a fan of most of the rides but the ones I'm not a fan of are just personal preference rather than actual fault in the ride. The facility is pretty old now though and while they do their best to keep it nice, you can't help but feel the age of the place. Although overall, it's a really fun time
It was really beautiful and exciting but each ride had a long queue
Have a blast with my kids every time that we go there. It is a it pricy in my opinion but it is worthy in the end. Lots of fun activities and attractions for the kids. The only reason why I give 4 stars only is because there's usually quite …
$40 for my not to be allowed on anything without a chaperone! My daughter who is 11 is more then capable to take him on the rides! But nope if your between 43-47inches you don’t get to go on without a chaperone and there’s only about 5-6 rides they can go on! It was awesome when I was a kid, it’s a joke now! Not impressed!
lots of fun playing and shopping
Indoor rides in a mall. Need we say more? Kids love it. So if your planning to go to the mall with kids there going to want to go on the rides so be prepared to bring some money. They will love it though I know my kids sure do and every year we go to Edmonton and visit the mall it's a go to for the rides.
5 stars only because we and kids had lots of fun
The play park downstairs keeps any child entertained for hours. A perfect place for exercise in the winter for only $10.
Really really run down. Structures badly in need repair and the rides and establishment overall is in desperate need of a good cleaning!! The staff was curtious and polite.
Funny for the kids as usual. Place could use a bit of an update but even still the kids still love it all.
Galaxyland was okay. We have a lot of fun during our holiday (which is eid), but the reason why i’m omitting 2 stars is because of their hours. They always close at 7PM and 6, but that’s okay. Wish they would’ve have closed at 9:00PM
It's been a couple years since we've been. But enjoyed our time, bumper cars, merry go round, ferris wheel, fun house, Quirks, Cosmic Orbiter! Food and drinks here are definitely over priced, make sure to either eat before you come or eat at food court. My family had a great time here, especially enjoying the bumper cars. Even after getting a bruise from the shoulder strap/belt my son said it was his favorite ride. Also for the Cosmic Orbiter, I would recommend avoiding for children 10 and under even if they fit the height requirements. Both of my children will quite possibly never go on another roller coaster after that one.
Kid loved it
Deserted amusement park. Bunch of rides closed for 2 years already. Don't expect anything to ever be operated again. I even checked online and it showed the mindbender to be open but it will never be open again. Waste of space. The worse place you will ever go. Don't waste your time and money, stay away from that dump.
Sooo much fun !!!
Fun place for kids, because its indoors it gets super crowded though. Definitely not for people who dont like crowds. Kiddie ride lines were reasonable, older kid ride lines are sadly super long. Im not a fan of waiting in lines all day but if you dont mind that then the rides are pretty good! Grounds are fairly clean, lots of games on the sidelines also, all in all worth it for a day.
Lots to see and experience. Some rides were not running. Great family fun.
4 stars only because place is pricey, apart from that we and kids had lots of fun
A great place to spend time with the family. I do warn you though it is quite pricey!
Not all rides were open but kids still enoyed it
The prices are pretty high and there's always rides that are shut down for maintenance. There was an hour left and we wanted to make a quick walk through and try some rides hoping for a special since there was only an hour left. We had to buy the. $35 wrist band or it'd come out to something like $15+ for each ride...
This is our fourth year in a row going to Galaxyland for a day trip and glad to see that they are continually making investments in improving the experience. Definitely a good place to take young kids and teenagers. I think they could …
It's nice for 5 and/or up or 46" and higher height. The place is nice but my son is a tad to short for most of the rides. So kindergarten and up would be a great place to take kids.
I enjoyed it but it was soon busy and a little on the pricey side. Would for sure have been worth it if the lines were shorter. Had fun with my kids, my wife and I thought though or else it would have got 4 stars..
In the years of going here I have never had a more miserable time here. Pretty sure they are so busy being greedy making money and not setting a limit of people in there. The lines for every single ride were close to 45 minutes. So packed you could barely walk. Wasted $150 dollars today. We were there for 3 hours and managed to go on 3 whole rides. Left with disappointed kids and annoyed parents. Good job guys.
It was so busy you could barely walk through with a stroller. I'm sure my timing was just off as it is still summer. I just couldn't believe it. Lines were long and all I wanted to do was leave as soon as I got in but of course with kids that's a bit hard! I will pick better timing the next time I go!!
Great family fun.
Very fun it was my daughter 7th bday
Need more benches! Absolutely no wjere for parents to sit while kods wait in lines for 30 mins each ride. Some rides took forever to load (trouble game) and many were shut down. Very expensive!
Prices are too damn high, but the lines moved relatively quick, the large Rollercoaster is still not operational and that's a disappointment.
Good but the height limits in some rides seem extremely arbitrary.
Love this place. Lots of fun
Buy full $40 pass that's the best value. Kids can enjoy unlimited and multiple rides. Can spend good 3 to 5 hours of fun
If there was a 0 option trust me I’d have chosen that!!! We have made it all the way from Vancouver we called the mall guest services and West Edmonton hotel and ensured Galaxyland would be open and accept 1 dose of vaccine before we book… little did we know that they wouldn’t let us in..as a matter of fact they had a board outside stating that double vaccination would be in effect after OCT 25th, we were there right on the 25th and they still wouldn’t let us in stating that they’re following Alberta guidelines. And I left with my kids crying for hours worst and most unprofessional service ever, I think there should be a shared communication regarding new restrictions with all stores in the mall.
I wore shoes, I wore a shirt. There was no policy about pants so I assumed (like I'm sure many before me have) they were optional. I have never been more embarrassed as I was that day being escorted out of the kidzone.
Hi, I am just wondering if you are guys closed on March 27th, cause I already purchased 5 tickets for my family? If that ,a refund would be appreciated . How could I get the refund? Best way to reach me is this Email address. Thanks
Way to busy for me and long lines kinda sucked the rides we wanted to try were closed
200+ dollars for a family and the SLOWEST service you've ever seen. These people need to learn efficiency. Absolutely appalling that my money went here
My daughter had a ball! Lines were long but to be expected.
Fund place to visit for all ages
We had a great family day out over all. Some toddler rides were not working and some didnt have as many seats available as they usually do. I loved the fact that there weren't many people when we first got there because it was a special event. The roller coasters and Ship were our favourite rides today! We will be back.
Drove 15 hours across Canada to go on Havoc and Mindbender only to find out they are closed for repairs and have been for a month now. For rides that were open lines were 1/2 hour to 45 minutes each. Expensive trip for a disappointing destination. Also Drive karts in mall are over 30 dollars for a 7 min ride.
Good price, kids enjoy it here.
Confusing, over-crowded and dirty. There were lineups EVERYWHERE, but we could never figure out which ride the lineups related to....the signage for each ride was so poorly laid out and never provided enough guidance to tell which line you should be in for which ride. The place was dirty (disgusting) , over crowded with rude people and unhelpful staff. Terribly over priced for the experience.
Love Galaxyland. Everyone had a blast, rode lots of rides, played lots of games..
Was busy at the time but lines moved quick enough. Overall worth the trip.
My kid enjoy and love all the rides she experienced.
Lovely place for the children to enjoy or for a change! Enjoyable also for the elders. We enjoyed the one hour we all spent.
Fun place for all ages
The kid play gym is a lot of fun. But hard to crawl around in for an adult so hard on the knees. My kids had so much fun. The prices are a bit high for the ride pass but the kids enjoyed it.
Whenever my family comes here, we have a great time. There are a variety of awesome rides and games. Kids aged two and under are free. However a parent needs to purchase a chaperone pass, which was $18 the last time we went, to go on the rides with them. One thing I didn't like about Galaxyland was that a lot of the staff looked miserable working there.
The best indoor amusement park we have been to .
We love it everything was amazing food, staff all were best. Thank you for having us
Many rides shut down and no reduction in price for the inconvenience
This place is a must visit, lots of fun rides
Just want to thank Christine B. cashier in Galaxyland on Sunday in front of the train station. It's my first time at the mall and she helped me a lot with directions and online deals. She's very patient in teaching how to navigate the website and the app. She's very sweet and my daughters love her , my 2 yr old got a free admission and is over the moon happy on her birthday. Huge mall, lots to do. Will defenitely come back!
Jesus Christ it was busy, still a pandemic going on but no one cares anymore. Lots of rides were broken.
GalaxyLand is old and dated need to updated, kiddos and I still had fun ????????
Rides are not accommodating for tall people, including the large Mindbender. Don't bother going if you are over 6'.
Soo fun lots of rides but my family enjoyed it all. Lines are a bit long for each ride but it's worth it
Great prices for rides admission
This is a great place for young people, but you need to be careful if you are middle age, or a senior, you may feel some of the games very aggressive. I ended up with a soar right shoulder and a black spot on it …
As of right now a lot of rides are closed but it's still a lot of fun for the kids. Definitely worth the trip still
It's ok. That's really it. There are a few things for kids if different ages and they enjoy it, which is all that matters in the end. Some extra long lines this time as it seemed there were fewer coaster cars running on some rides. A couple of rides are painfully short and could benefit from a second lap so they are more than 30 seconds long. Not bad for an amusement park in a mall.
I come here often and it’s a lot of fun one of the employees always made me and my family feel welcomed I don’t recall her name but she was tall and had brown hair with blonde tips. she worked efficiently and treated the customers greatly, however we haven’t seen her over this past month we hope she is doing well! Unfortunately I’m only rating the park a 3 star rating because some of the employees now a days seem to dislike their job and the prices keep going up, so a smile wouldn’t hurt here and there.
Wow what fun it was well worth the money to come here. Felt like a kid again and the kids also loved to. If you can fine any deals on admission it definitely makes it more affordable for a large group.
Seemed bigger and more exciting when I was younger. Its a fun place you can spend a day at and be satisfied. Don't need more then a day to enjoy the park.
Awesome experience.
An Indoor amusement park for all age groups. Had an amazing trip ???? worth the price!
My kids loved it. Just upset the carnival was closed.
It sucks, ride wait times are too long and it smells gross. The attendant for the swings ride takes 20 minutes to fill the swings. Half of the rides were not open but yet they still charge full price for an 8 year old. 2 rides 5 hours is way too long. This place was cool 30 years ago. Now its dated, very unorganized and filthy.
Everything was OK except the mindbender roller coaster was closed
Very cool
Great for kids but a bit too much noise and colors for adults
Love this place. Some pretty cool and crazy looking rides. Must go forsure
I would imagine the lack of revenue over the past 2 years has catered to the lack of maintenance. Rides are down, and they do the best they can. Long are gone the glory days of galaxy land, though it seems they have recently had a …
First time here. Terrible experience. First off it is terribly over priced. I have never been there so I bought myself, my wife and my son wristbands. Assuming there would be a fair amount of rides my 6 year old could go ob. I was dead wrong. Most rides had a height requirment of right around 4 feet for some reason even the bumper cars. My son could only go on 3 rides. The lineups were very long. Spent 170$ to go on 4 rides in 4 hours. Will never go back. Save your money for the waterpark
Children's point of view - Spectacular! Adult's - Overpriced & crowded..
What a neat little place and it’s indoor so year round fun!
Man...that rollercoaster; it was amazing definitely an experience I'll never forget and will absolutely do that again. …
The kids had fun, but 2 rides malfunctioned while parts of our group were on them. One for almost an hour, while people were stuck on it. They refunded the passes for the people on that ride which was nice. The other ride that malfunctioned we got no explanation or anything. And part of the screen wasn't working on the movie theatre ride.
My favorite place in Edmonton, very well maintained and had amazing rides
Visited again after 20 years. Nothing has changed. Needs renovating and a good cleaning. Very busy.
3 good rides closed including mindbender. Tickets were only 30 dollars so still worth it
Came to Alberta on vacation from Florida in June. My husband experienced Galaxyland as a child, so he was dying to bring our children. The lines were SO long! My husband waited an hour to take our 18 m old on the train. Another 30 minutes to take our other two children on the swing ride. This park is the model of inefficiency! The most telling sign was that the kids were asking to leave after a few rides because they were bored from the long, inefficient lines. Don’t forget to bring socks if you want to go into the play area or you can purchase for $1. We are probably spoiled coming from amusement park central (Florida), but this park was a poor value for the money.
Good indoor themepark that kiddos will surely love. It caters both kids, teenagers and adults. There are rides or activities for everyone.
Good place to take the kids
Lots of fun options for the whole family
It is a nice place for people.
Prices are excessive. The kids rate only covers toddlers and there are no rides for the little ones. What rids were available for our 6 and 7 y/o had giant lines. I would suggest catching the twilight hours deal in the last 3 hours of operation. But it is a great environment and friendly staff.
Definitely enjoyed this place as a family this year!! The lines were a lot shorter when they first opened, so that was a plus. The bunny and bear shaped cotton candy were super adorable too!!
Its a small amusement park thats packed, lines take a while, also expensive for the selection that there is. There is no social distancing in the wait line and everyone is packed together which is super uncomfortable. Most scary ride is the one that drops down and the funnest one is the red one (in my opinion).
Overpriced and not much for smaller children. Today 5 rides are down and the price is still the same to get in.
Long ticket lines but once in, rides lines were super short. Fun time!
For the price, you are way overpaying for a mediocre experience.
Fun. I recommend space shot
My grandson had a great time
It needs alot of improvements, innovation and ambiance change
Overall not the greatest experience for the price. However I only paid $15.00 with the discount for staying at the fantasyland hotel, which honestly $15.00 is your moneys worth currently. Not the $30 they are charging. As you walk into Galaxyland land right now, you are greeted by construction going on in various areas of the park. I believe 8 rides are offline at the moment .You will also be quick & sad to realize that the largest rollercoasters are not working and with no eta. They sit in the corner of the park empty and almost ghostlike. Only one of the 3 roller coasters are online and it’s a child friendly one. I truly hope at the end of the renovations this park might return to some of its former glory. However for now, it’s a sad shell of its former self. Pros: Discounted passes at Fantasyland plus other hotels. New “sorry” spinning carts that you can control yourself are quite fun. The haunted house is actually super good and almost over the top zombie scary, it does seem out of place in a park like this however. Very child friendly. This is a good thing but for older kids/Adults it’s not so great.
