Great experience, loved the museum!
This was the BEST experience I've ever had!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Definitely going again!!
The DaVinci experience was awesome! The information was a little vague, the descriptions could have been more in-depth but over all the exhibit was cool to see. They had alot of Da Vincis inventions in life size form, some cool paintings and at the end they have a VR segment. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy the exhibit. I recommend it
Incredible experience. They establish the history of Da Vinci and then they bring his works to life! Highly recommend.
I walked in thinking it would be a small little exhibit in a mall and I was blown away by what I experienced! The gallery of Da Vinci’s inventions, his life story, the light show with the most moving music that gave me chills, the VR room… all so breathtaking and unforgettable! Thank you so much @senseacanada for bringing Da Vinci to life! I’ll never forget it!
Great display. Very informative.
Fantastic! Bring other exhibits please. Very well done, well organized, clean (covid19), educational, well laid-out. There are a few sections; first is exhibits with educational panels to read (he was a very diversely-skilled person); second was the 3D projection accompanied by lovely music (felt immersed); third was the VR experience. All sections were great. The VR experience was really cool. The staff were friendly. We definitely are very happy we experienced this artistic exhibit. Thank you.
This was such a nice experience. I really liked the fact that they had replicas of artifacts included. Enough supporting signage so one can learn about Leonardo Da Vinci, and yet not too much so one can take time and enjoy experience. Kids friendly as well And you get to finish the experience with a 3D presentation. Awesome!!! Go see it. Definitely worth it
An awesome show! I had no idea the scope of his genius. Aside from his amazing art work his ideas were well before his time. Hard to believe that was 500 yrs. ago. Check out the Diving Suit!!!
The Immersive Experience was fantastic but the paintings and exhibits provided the best insights into Da Vinci himself.
I learned lots about someone we all have heard about. Did not know he started off inventing war machines. Worth the visit to enhance your knowledge of an incredible artist, architect, anatomist (if a word), engineer...what a guy!!!
Our family had so much fun! My husband and I took our 17 year old and my mum. We all loved it. My hubby is an engineer and he loved the models. I loved the Last Supper. We all enjoyed the history and the video experience. Fun day out for us!
It was very informative and great learning more about Da Vinci. Highly recommended!
Long drive for us but it was totally worth it. Enjoyed very much the Exebition with the family, specially kids learned so much. Staff were super friendly! Absolutely recommended. The Exebition ends on first of October….. so hurry up ????
So well organized and balanced in terms of presentations. Loved to see the prototype and play with them. The immersive experience is well guided, I really like the focus they gave us for each presentation. The last immersive station was …
Really cool experience for someone who appreciates history and Leonardo DaVinci. Would recommend it for anyone looking for something different to do on a date, or social event.
Well organized event. Love the VR experience at the end.
Not good. The first room was ok showing some replicas. You can learn something there. The second room was no good. Projecting random text on the walls. Could have been much better. The 3d experience was using low quality hardware and there was nothing intereted to see. Don't waste your time.
The Leonardo da Vinci exhibit showcases his inventions first, then you go into the light show presentation room where you sit down and watch his life milestones. The VR experience was interesting because you got to see his inventions up …
It’s very awesome????
They had a lot of information. The VR is "cleaned" but hard to trust. The projection room was ok. Overall decent learning experience
This was an incredible experience. Educational, fun - like something I've never experienced before. TIP: Give yourself time to really read and look at all the exhibits - it's bigger than you think - it's not just ONE room - it's MULTIPLE rooms and experiences. It's great for a group as there's something for everyone. TIP: Loads of free parking around the mall - and be sure to check out the food court before or after.
To much written especially for poor sighted or for folk like myself whom are serverely dyslexic a # by # audio would be better the immersion was better when you used the mirror as it was more 3d but the mirror was too small the vr was awesome See yes room for improvement yes very much so
Very cool experience! Different and cool designs to see.
The networking event we held at Sensea Immersive was fantastic. Everyone loved the exhibit and the immersive theatre was fascinating. Great experience!
Loved the Da Vinci experience!! They had everything, the displays, info about his inventions, paintings, the show and then it ended with a little virtual reality!! Highly recommend it!!
I'm a big DaVinci fan so I really enjoyed it. Getting to see repros of some of his inventions and paintings, experiencing the huge room with the show on its walls and then getting to put on disinfected virtual reality glasses and ride in some of his inventions was great.
I absolutely loved this experience and learned a lot about the life of Leonardo Da Vinci! I would highly recommend visiting the Experience, especially on a rainy fall day!
I am astounded with the replicas in the first room and how each and every single one of them has concise detail of the inventions. The placement of these replicas in the first room gives me a voyeuristic motion of different periods of time. The hallway includes paintings, especially the Last Supper, which sits in it's own throne and with it's dim light. The next room is a 360 visual experience and orchestra that you can sit and enjoy. The last room is the VR section with the merch store, which has massive value way more than what you are paying for. Oh, I must add: very patient and understanding employees working there :) Though it might be distant, as it is in Tsawwassen Mills - give massive credits to this exhibit and its team for only charging half of what most people would pay for. 4/5
Amazing experience! Totally worth visiting, I would strongly recommend it.
It is great to see several replica and works of Leonardo da Vinci. The immersive experience and vr feature is highly recommended.
This is a great experience! Educational and immersive, I'd recommend this to all ages! We got to see a fantastic overview of Da Vinci's life and his creations, including life-size models of his inventions, and the workers there were very informative and ready to answer all of my questions!
Definitely something to go see if you have the time, but I found it a but underwhelming especially for the price. Also would have been good to not have to pay for the photo when you first enter the experience as a souvenir
It is an interesting exhibit. I'm glad I went.
Amazing experience! I liked it all. The immersive feeling of the museum with the paints of Leonardo Da Vinci. At first they took a photo of me and at the end I could see them, I loved them and bought all of them. They have a souvenir shop with quite a few good things to give away and take away as souvenirs.
Awesome immersive Da Vinci experience! Highly recommend the show. This multi-media feast for the senses, showcases the incredible depth and scope of Leonardo’s genius. Thoroughly enjoyed every one of the four rooms that offer in-depth …
Went to the DaVinci Experience today!! Was absolutely wonderful and informative. Would recommend to everyone, the VR and the end is very very cool!!!
Very informative and helpful
Fun exhibit. Interesting to look at all the creations, and the artwork. VR experience was different but unique
I really enjoyed the experience. What an incredible person he was. His breadth of knowledge was amazing. And, particularly, the virtual reality experience at the end was amazing.
Excellent exhibition! Learned so much about Leonardo da Vinci in a very interesting way. I highly recommened for teachers / parents to take their children here to explore it. Great for adults aswell! Super friendly staff. I was impressed how organised the exhibition was. Awesome experience!
Great experience, worth the time spent learning about this amazing man.
Went with a friend today to the Da Vinci Experience. All the staff were most welcoming and helpful, the exhibition with excellent story boards and mock ups of his designs and display of paintings were well laid out in a spacious room. The visual experience very good and plenty of seating. Highly recommend it to see what a genius he was. We enjoyed shopping in the Mall too!
I wish there are more to see. The media presentation room scared a kid due to the darkness.
This is the worst art gallery I’ve ever visited. There's bad image selection and I finished the gallery within 40 minutes
Incredibly beautiful ????????????…what an amazing man…man of many talents ????❤️????????????????❤️
The exhibits were amazing and very informative. The gift shop was disappointing.
Lots of information, poorly constructed replica machines invented by DaVinci. Some off the devices as replicas look broken. $28 entrance fee was too steep for a less than average experience.
My husband and our friends truly enjoyed the entire immersive and informative experience tge other week. Everything was very well displayed and comfortably spaced. Only a few of the reading plaques needed closer approach to read their info. Well worth the time and money spent and highly recommended it to many friends and relatives. Weekdays are best to view the exhibit. My husband repeatedly told me how much he enjoyed it all. I bought the tickets a week before at the counter rather than on line. I had also phoned for assistance but did not get a call back but no matter for us in the end as we got to enjoy a great exhibit that showcased Da Vinci's artistic and engineering genius, a man way ahead of his time. Tickets are reasonably priced for what you get. And the staff there were great.
We toured this exhibit with some children from Canuck Place Children's Hospice. It was an amazing afternoon - something for everyone. The children who use wheelchairs for mobility and are non-verbal but extremely expressive absolutely LOVED the immersive part of the exhibit - huge smiles and very engaged. Was lovely to see. Keepsake photos were perfect and a great memento of the day. The staff were kind and very attentive.
Unbelievable! So much information and great displays. The virtual reality show was great. You shouldn't miss this!
Had a great time here! Loved the variety in the displays and experiences. Brought my parents and they both really enjoyed it to the point they were letting their other friends know about it.
I really liked this exhibit. After seeing the Van Gogh experience at the Vancouver Convention Centre, I was curious to see the similarities and differences. While the Van Gogh experience was more impressive with the high visuals, the Da …
I loved the experience. this is really a good place for an explorer
Poorly executed, bad quality presentation. Fantastic on-site staff couldn't make up for the bad production. Very unfortunate that Leonardo Da Vinci's works have been exploited in such a disappointing way. The "Immersive Room" and "VR Experience" combines extremely cheaply produced and very dated computer graphics in incredibly strange interpretations and animation. Overall very cringey and non-sensical. Technical implementation was also poor with highly compressed, low resolution video in the Immersive Room. One wall displayed a lazily reformatted vertical video originally intended for a vertical display at other venues. The visuals in the VR experience was again extremely simplistically slapped together. Please don't waste your money going to this show.
I would like to take our child with us. Please find the way kids can go for free. They need to see that. Thanks
Interesting for kids and science/engineering students. Sorry , I have to change to one star. When I downloaded our pictures from their website in my iPhone . Its website is totally amateur style. There have lots of unnecessary ads and there have a survey floating on the page so you are not easy to find the download button. After you select download, you can not find the pictures in your cell. You have choose “view” or cell function to save the picture so you do not know whether you download a full size picture. Worst website did I meet until now. By the way, when we bought the entering ticket, they do not show how much my credit card would be charged by their machine and also did not print a receipt to us. When we asked for a receipt, they said they run this paperless. But later when we took photos and bought the photos, they printed a “paper” receipt to us.
Amazing, well done activity. Loved the video experience at the end
This was fun but there were definitely a few things they could have done to make the experience better. I enjoyed the exhibit portion but the interactive portion needed more attention to the detail. The room that the images were in had walls with portions of column sticking out. They should have furred out the walls so they could have had larger stretches of uninterrupted wall for the projections. That really wouldn't have cost them that much more when they put the exhibit together. The videos themselves were good, but the mirror script graphics and the gear graphics were extremely distracting and took away from the experience. Why would you have a graphics superimposed over a da Vinci painting is beyond me. You're supposed to feel like you're walking in his works, not surround by his screen savers. The VR also glitched and the videos and 3d renderings were pretty dated. With rendering software being where it is today, I expected a cleaner rendering without glitching or jumping. Adjustable headstraps would have been good too. A decent job, but lots of room for improvement. That is why I gave this a 4 instead of a 3. It has potential.
Amazing! Da Vinci collaboratively apply all his talents in astronomy, history, humanities, medical anatomy, engineering, mathematical code to describe his paintings in details, allowing readers to taste and think slowly, and the meaning of his paints still can not be exhausted.
