Great place to go free panning for gold. it's about a 20-minute slow drive down the dirt road but you finally get to it you think you may have passed it but you finally get there. Bring some boots with you so you can walk in the stream the stream is very shallow and safe for the kids.

The concept on panning gold was great, Claim #6 is free as a group of miners provide some material for panning. Easy said than done.. spend 10 hours on the material, all by hand and left with dust gold. My kids had a great time building a rock dam on the river.

Of course, the Klondike river is full of gold. But for some reason (the washing pan is too small\ large, the water is too cold, the water flow is too fast, the gold washer is too stupid, etc pp), people leave that place as rich\ poor as they came. But the fun is theirs...
