The staff are very helpful and there is a very interesting display of films, artefacts and models from the time of the gold rush. there is also a demonstration of gold panning. I tried it but kept losing the gold - not so easy! The WiFi is free and reasonably quick.

Restored building shared by Parcs Canada and Dawson City information desks. Very friendly and helpful staff whose goal is to make sure your time here (no matter how long) is well spent. Limited (bandwidth and time) public WiFi is provided in and just outside the building.

Helpful staff and they do great tours. I really enjoyed their walking tour. The guides and the role play was very well done and provided a good insight to the gold rush era. Highly recommended. In fact, having done both Yukon and Alaska, I found Yukon so much more charming and spectacular, and had so much more to offer. Go for the Top of the World highway. It's a decent dirt road, but the views were awesome! Probably one of my favorite road trips. And shouldn't miss dawson city if you're in the area. It's a real gem. Unfortunately, too under publicised and underrated. Wish they have more information and marketing online.

Tour guide spoke a lot about herself, would rather have heard more about the gold Rush days and the buildings themselves instead of how she gets through the long Winters in Dawson.
