DESCRIPTION

Here you will be able to see all the opinions of people like you who are purchasing the products and services of Mile 0 Alaska Highway (Tourist Attraction) in Dawson Creek (Canada).

As of day this firm has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 and this rating has been based on 115 reviews.

You may have noticed that the average score it has is basically the best one, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the rating is very accurate. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they've done well with the business, it works.

You know that we do not usually stop to give opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

Driving to from Dawson Creek to Fairbanks in early November on the Alcan for the first time was definitely an experience. Make sure you take a 5 gallon jug of gas with you. Many gas stations are closed after September. I’d also recommend getting studded snow tires and a block heater before you go. Be safe.

The start of an amazing adventure! We rode the entire length of the Alaska highway and back. Breathtaking views, amazing history, and very welcoming people. A few things to keep in mind if you're riding the entire highway like we did; hotels are few and far between, and book up quickly over the weekends. So you may need to call ahead. Gas stations can also be a little sparse, so plan on gassing up every 100 miles (160km) just in case you have to keep going. If your ride needs premium gas (91+), take octane booster; many stations don't carry it or high test fuel. The road can go from bad to non-existent in construction zones, so take your time. A lot of the small logging camp hotels are basically "off grid," no cell (mobile) service, no wifi, no TV. So if you need to contact anyone, do it when your in town. Have fun!

It will all start here for you. Fill up gas where ever you can no matter what your tank says because you may not hit gas for awhile if open. It was the best time I ever had and enjoyed my entire drive to Alaska from NY
