Our first time here. Decided to extend our stay after leaving RMNP. This is a beautiful campground with very large private treed sites. Its quiet and we were happy we stayed here. Would come again for sure. The trees are teaming with songbirds specially early morning. Just beautiful to listen to.

There's a good beach and you can buy some treats on them. This beach is good for small children if it's not windy outside, because windy weather makes big waves on the lake. There's a good playground on the beach. In the campground we saw a bear trap. Maybe bears are common guests in this place.

Highway takes away from quiet camping. Lake is not deep good for young kids

Good place to go. Close to Dauphin but far enough away to get that "Get away" feeling. Lots of space to run and play. Pets arnt permitted but many people take their dogs there. Doesnt bother me at all. Concession stand has qaulity food and dessert at decent prices.

Nice little campground,sites are fairly private separated by trees. Close to Dauphin if you need anything urgently. It was a nice peaceful stay.

A great beach to bring your little kids! The beach area is very shallow and the water in that area is warm.

Water was very cold and lots of rocks on shallow area. Lots of space to have some good distance.

Sandy Beach, very shallow, great for little kids, but as adults you can't swim there.

Beautiful! Even in the fall after all the leaves have lost their colour it's still pretty. It's very peaceful there. There were some nice trails close to the water but didn't actually get right to the water. I had to go through some bushes. Worth it.

Campground area is very nice, free firewood, pretty quiet despite being near highway. I like the trails. There is a concession stand by the beach with decent food and great prices.

There's a nice play structure for kids and the beach is nice but the water level is so low you can't go out very deep before you start sinking in mud

Clean and maintained. They are currently renovating it or is it a brand new campground? Not sure though. Anyways, this place is highly recommended!

This campground was nice and quiet. The campsites were private and was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. The free firewood is also a nice bonus. The beach has shallow waters and the sand was clean. The little restaurant at the beach had some good food as well and they sold ice. Will definitely come back here.

The campground is typical of provincial parks - huge sites, lots of privacy between sites, free firewood and clean washrooms. The only trouble we had was that the showers in the campground were closed due to social distancing regulations. The beach is great!! There are sand bars in the lake so it is very shallow! Great for families!! Highly recommended!

This is a really great spot to take little kids to swim. The water is not freezing cold and it's so shallow they can walk out a long way and still touch the bottom. Also once you get past the stones the lake floor is soft sand not slimy plants. You do eventually get up a deeper area way out and there you'll find the slimy plants but hey don't go way out there and you're made in the shade. :D

Great beach for smaller kids, shallow water and sand bars. Gross feeling clay when you get out a big deeper so the kids didnt want to stay out deep. Concession has the usual beach fast food, outhouse near the beach and toilets and showers a bit further down. Looked like coin showers, didn't use them.

Very nice little provincial campground with fairly large camp sites. Beaches and sand are great for the kids and they even have a dog beach!!!

It is my first time camping here, it takes around 3 hours from winnipeg to this park. The water is shallow but the main problem is there are many rocks in the water. Some of them are sharp????The water is nice though, there aren't many people this weekend. We camped for only one night and the rain was pretty strong that night. Overall a decent experience. The coin-operated shower has warm water and the environment is clean. Great campground????????
