Hidden gem...you can walk to the back of the park and enter into the trails along the hydro lines.....go south and you end up at some awesome ponds where you can feed the 30 or 40 ducks....very tame.....or go across the powerlines into the Sandwick forest for a walk amongst some giant evergreens.

Grumpy Bear

Nice place for a picnic and walk

for having a new park built it is crap for my 9yr. olds (twins) to go to... other than the school close by. Just could put more equipment in & bigger things to play around!

There are forest trails and big, old trees. Paths are muddy in spots (Dec-Jan). Evidence of forest fire and cleared undergrowth in the western part. I wish there was a loop trail.

Good birding, good playground, nice field, forested trails on moderate terrain. Good for kids. Bring some oats or seeds to feed the ducks, (please don't feed ducks bread it is bad for their health).

Frisky Weasel

Beautiful green grass, recently replaced jungle gym and some nice trail.

Nice playground with swings, toddler friendly. Big open grassy space with trails in the back that lead into the forest and connect with a larger path. There's an apple tree and blackberries as well.

It's a good park for the little ones. I'd say the play structure is good for toddlers up. Is a basketball not there r with a small paved area to play or practice on. With a small network of trails going through the woods.

The best park for sitting in if you have to kill time before the PR ferry. Better than the terminal but not really special as parks go. Seems nice if you live there.

Very nice quiet park. Perfect for my dog to run around. A few trails to traverse. Very easy trek. Lots of trees provide enough shade so it's cool even in the heat of summer.
