One of the best spots for a dip in the river. Current in the middle can be a bit strong so weak swimmers need to be aware. Usually lots of parking, but can be busy on hot days

Beautiful park to walk through. In the fall it is easy to see salmon in the water. Paths are well maintained. There are some stairs involved. There is a small parking lot.

Beautiful forest trails and salmon in the river. Playground is in a very sunny spot. Trees and river nearby and trees plantes for shade in years to come but currently the play structure bakes on sunny days.

The place is really good for a swim. The current here might get a little strong sometimes so, it is recommended to have a proper safety gears. The water is crystal clear and the place is surrounded by huge trees. I loved it there.

One of the best parks to put your tube in the river to tube down the river to Lewis Park.. Also a nice swimming hole with a beach and cliffs for jumping off etc... It floods during the fall and winter and its fun to see the Salmon swimming where you were walking a week or two before....lol

I grew up swimming in this river. Nice little rapids and a slight brisk current, also the current is slow in spots for kids to have fun. The trails are perfect for a quick dog walk. Or escape the heat in the summer. Very shady in the trees. Gets really busy in the summer. Do not take valuables to the river as a rule. Restrooms are above the park in the parking lot. Salmon spawning season is stinky but fascinating. Education for the kids.. There were dinosaur bones found in this river of an entire dinosaur. Also a basic playground for all ages to swing and slide ????

Nice small, short, trail along the river. Easily accessible to all ages and abilities. Might see kayakers float by, or large fish swimming up river. The only thing it lacks is a standout scenic point. Walking along the river is decent but there isn't really a spot that is remarkably distinct.

The fish were jumping along with those going up to spawn and hiding behind a log across the river just so happen to be a bear waiting for his supper to be caught by one of the fisherman.

Fantastic place to go and enjoy a hot summer day. Family areas for less experienced swimmers and areas with a strong current to ride down either just with the current or on tubes. If you're in the valley in the summer highly recommend, bring a way to throw away your garbage though.

This place was beautiful! Lots of shore to set up on along the river. Nice and clean. The current wasn't too strong, but you definitely want to be within arms reach of younger kids or weak swimmers. We spent our time walking them upstream a few yards then floating slowly downstream. Some one had made a square current-free "toddler" pool with rocks.

Lots of trails within the park to stroll on by yourself or with family and friends. Great place to have a picnic as well as a playground for kids to be kids. A river runs through the park which also hosts and array of fish & birds. Great place for picture taking for special occasions or have a bbq with a group of friends.

A nice clean river area for tubing, swimming and relaxing. Some areas get pretty deep and the current is stronger in the deep water so it is a better place for people who know how to swim well. It's dog friendly which is a ++++!

Great playground with scenic trails. One if the best places to swim during the summer. The salmon run here during the fall and in the winter the park tends to flood after heavy rains - but the main trail is usually clear and accessible all year round.

Playground with infant and normal swings, an okay sized field for a picnic or flying a kite, and great place for swimming with change rooms available in the Summer. We like the trail that does a nice loop around, with less groomed trails if you want to take a short cut. A great place to cool down on a hot day!

This is a great park to bring the kids to swim, jump into, or just splash in the water. There are changerooms and washrooms up on the road and they are generally very clean. There are also biking and walking trails as well as a playground.

Nice park that has a river where you can fish for salmon depending on the time of the year. The paths where nice with some wooden bridges and a nice walk through the forest. The River was nice to see and listen too. There were people fishing along the river while I walked around. The place was nice and peaceful. There was a person in an electric scooter going around too so some parts where easy to get to and move around.
