Had a great time walking around and taking in the beautiful views this area had to offer. Nice and clean, another maintained park on the island. Kids enjoyed the playground for a short while before more kids showed up and we needed to follow distancing rules. Washrooms were open and allowed them to wash their hands afterwards. Plenty of people enjoying the fresh air and exercise, some really nice boats in the harbor too.

The Comox Valley has a number of beautiful spots to watch the sun set but I think the Comox Marina is perhaps the best. As the sun inches it's way down below the mountains the colours play out beautifully across the water, the masts of the boats, the warm wood of the walkway and the skies. The personality of the place changes by season due to the variety of boats (some times there are more fishing vessels than pleasure craft), the migration of wildlife (seals, sea lions, heron, eagles, kingfishers, orca, etc.) all of which I have seen numerous times from the marina boardwalk. In milder weather the gardens bloom with gorgeous perennials and cacti and the park is filled with laughter as families gather for picnics, frisbee tossing and watching the children play in the nautical pirate shipped themed water playground. Spring to fall several food trucks make this their home so people bring lawn chairs and enjoy the diverse menus. There are parking lots on both sides of the park with some handicapped parking designated spots. On the north side is a public boat launch and there is a shop from which you can rent kayaks. There are also two small indoor glass walled rooms that can be rented for parties and meetings as well as a covered bandstand.

Whether you're going down for a nice walk on the boardwalk. Are you doing some fishing I just watching the day go by. This is a great place to do it. It's surrounded by top shelf eateries. And quaint little small town shops. It is very recently had an upgrade to the park. Which added a splash pad and play structure for children. Amplitheatre and out building structures.

Great place to take the kids. There are playgrounds for little and big kids as well as a nice little splash park. In the summer and during events, there are often food trucks and an ice-cream truck. The marina has a few places where a little one could slip down the bank and some big gaps in the boardwalk (only an issue for tiny toddler feet).

Beautiful, very well-kept park with something for everyone. Waterside includes access to the small craft docks, to the commercial fleet boats, to a great spot for launching the kayaks. Meanwhile on land is a spotless kids playground, a great lawn for walking Fido, picnic tables under shelter, public restrooms with running water, and a long pier to walk and soak in the views.

They only have one dock beside the ramp. Makes it slow when multiple boats are trying to launch, also folks are trying to get out at the same time. It can be a real traffic jam some days. Also there's no fish cleaning table for all the sports fishing guys. Comox does not like recreational fisherman.

Great splash park for the kids

AMAZING! Boy has it changed since I was a kid. There's a great water park and two playgrounds, several food trucks, benches, picnic tables and even some shade. My only complaint was that parking could be tricky if you dont hit it just right. Will definitely be back again with our 4 year old.

This park is has 2 sections and is quite intricate. Lots of room, however there is NO fence between the park and the water. Not completely thought out as far as safety. Fully fenced would be worth 5 stars.

Great space for kids to run and play. Food trucks in the summer and lots of space to sit and relax. Close to the shopping district of Comox, and fishermen sell fresh fish daily. Lots to see; a good way to relax for an hour or two.

I love the harbor in Comox. It is so relaxing to sit on the pier walkway & watch the boats glide by & maybe catch a glimpse of seals swimming by. There is a great Marina park with a water park for the kids. Food trucks hang out & provide some interesting food options. We visit the harbor every time we are in Comox
