Beautiful forest trails, whether exploring on foot, horseback, or via bike. Great mountain views in places, and the transition from forest to farm country makes for an interesting walk or trail run.

Wildwood Forest Recreation Trails is this amazing little woods nestled amidst the farmlands. Parking can be done across from the Park Entrance Sign (Piercy Road is busy), but it is a limited space. Alternate places to park are Forest Hill Road & Burns Road. Recently there has been impressive improvements made to many of these trails with grading and walking gravel. Wildwood Railgrade is a long, level, wide graded trail between Piercy & Forest Hill roads. Romantic is what best describes this easygoing stroll that takes less then a half hour in total. Your options are numerous concerning length of time & effort when choosing a route to follow on these lovely trails. DOG'S (off leash) , HORSE'S, BIKES ARE COMMON on these trails. Be prepared to step aside when while a group of horseback or bike rider's go by. Beyond bird's, I've encountered little wildlife while walking the Wildwoods.

This park is very accessible. They do a great job making the paths wide. I think a stroller or walker would be fine here. Horses use the paths as well and those paths are very well cared for.
