It's a good place to enjoy quiet time. I ran into bunnies here and there and enjoyed watching the small planes flying across to land.

The park is connected to the Riverway trail system.....so you can spend hours walking some amazing easy trails. Good for the disabled as it is mostly paved. The park has a great little restaurant....delicious breakfast. Picnic tables, tourist bureau and a kayak rental shop there ad well.....the kayaking on the river is something to experience.....the river is perfect for it.

A nice little spot We bought our hamburgers at a and WAnd drove there a couple blocks awayAnd we shared our picnic table with another nice gentleman. I'll definitely be going back there again

This is a beautiful spot to walk around when the weather is nice. Lots of birds to watch with the family. Watching the airplanes fly in or take off is great as your so close. Parking is limited specially when there's alot of people using the park or when rowing teams are out.

A great place to enjoy serene, picturesque and pleasant walk when in Courtenay. It runs parallel to the river and have some amazing views. You can also view small aircrafts landing or taking off along the path.

Nice easy walk around the park. The information plaques of the flora is an added bonus. The little Cafe serves good food and a decent cup of coffee with friendly staff. Overall I enjoy my time there whenever I go.

Boardwalk, pavement, gravel, viewpoints, signs explaining local ecology,seating areas,this park is a great place to experience the Courtenay/ Comox estuary. You can walk, run, jog, bring the dog, roller blade, scooter, bike ride, skate board, even roller skate. The views and the wildlife are unbelievable.

I love skating around the loop, such a beautiful spot. It's great for a walk with the family and the dogs and the kids live the playground. If you like watching planes, they literally fly over your head. Feels like you can reach up and touch them some days.

A great place for a peaceful walk and watch for the river otters between the marina and the mouth of the estuary. Be sure to go at sunset at some point as you look back from the point towards the mountains!

Its a small but beautifull area to have a walk at. Its perfect to go for a walk in the evenings. The walk pathways can also be used for cycling. The river is just besides the walkway. There is a small airport over there and a place that rents out kayak. Nice place to rent out kayaks as its just by the river which opens upnto the ocean.

Great place to walk, ride or roller blade. Walkway goes for kms through an estuary, air park, marina and even tp downtown. There is a playground in one area for the kids, a cafe at the airpark and acess to several businesses along the way. This is a paved, well maintained walkway.
