So many incredible vendors in one place. Farm fresh produce. Delicious baked goods. Meat, personal care products, canned goods. It's all here. The vendors are all lovely people and you can tell the market organizers care about the community. I shop here first before shopping at the grocery store.

We spent a great Saturday noon at this market. Variety of choices from local producers and a friendly service. Market offered plenty of choices for vegetable starters, but I was also expecting to see fruit/vegetable produce, though it was likely too early for that being mid April. Mustard from The Mustard Lady was a huge hit!

Meesh

Plenty of space at the exhibition grounds where the market currently is. A great place to do your grocery shopping. So many amazing farmers with fresh and beautiful produce and fruits. There's also another section of the market which has craft/artisanal vendors too.

Awbbie

A bit pricy but best place for locally grown.

Sterling Keys

Go to weekly market for fresh local produce.

In the pouring rain our fellow farmers and wholesome hearted distributors along with patrons were happily nourishing themselves with great local foods. During such a time of so-called pandemia our community seems to be thriving with great heartfelt exchanges. We are so very blessed to have such consciousness surrounding us in such unusual times. I was sharing with a vendor how for the first time in my life I began gardening and I am now 44 years old. I bought some beans home and other produce from Costco the other day and my awareness was struck when I saw Mexico and other countries on the packaging. While on the other hand, in my arms reach I soon realized that we have everything we need and more with such abundance. I hope that more of us in the community will awaken to our microcosm here where we can all sustain ourselves and thrive together! Thank you Comox Valley farmers market for your efforts in organizing these events it is very much appreciated! ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Our #1 place to shop!! I love the fact that I can chat to the local farmers about how they raise their livestock or grow their produce. Even though many are not certified as organic, most of them practise organic farming, and those are the friendly folks whom we buy from. 52 Weeks a year I visit the Farmers Market on a Saturday morning... minus the 2 weeks that they're closed over Xmas. Wouldn't miss it and we've very thankful that our Valley has such a diversified group of local farmers. Summer time they're in the Exhibition Grounds and Winter times they're in the Native Sons' Hall.

Lots of local vendors; bring cash as most don't take cards. A smaller market with several dozen tables. A little mushy for walking around when wet but different veggies, baked goods, candles, liquor, honey, treats etc. Music playing and tables to sit at. Makes for a great tourist market; don't know if vendors remain the same throughout the season?
