Great for a walk through a forested Creek ravine. Goes right down to the ocean. In the Fall salmon can be seen.

Larry Lorimer

A beautiful creek within the town of Comox. Access off of Balmoral and walk to the ocean past the fish ladder. Go South and Walk along the boardwalk to MacDonald Wood Park or North and visit Filberg property. If you choose to go up Creek and it has rained there is a waterfall splashing into the creek with walking bridges and a well groomed pathway.

What a beautiful well maintained city trail that dreams are made from. If you're lucky, you'll spot the residential Barred owls, but be careful, they are fiesty and protective of their young.

Brooklyn Creek Park is a beautiful place to be any time of the year. Living two blocks from this park is a plus for moving to this neighbourhood. One may walk half way or go all the way to the waterfront. Dogs are allowed on the paths, which is nice for dog lovers like myself. I am giving this Park five stars for the beauty of the forest, well maintained paths and residents picking up after the four footed family members

Brooklyn Creek Park is basically nature trails behind a few blocks of in town houses. It does allow access to the beautiful babbling Brooklyn Creek - which salmon & trout use en route to their spawning grounds in the autumn. If you walk up a set of steps, across Balmoral Avenue & down the steps on the other side - you'll be in Mack Laing Nature Park. I always assumed Brooklyn Creek Park was just a continuation of MLN Park. There are several access points from different streets - one being off Cedar Avenue, which does have a wheelchair ramp over a green metal bridge. Though the distance on the trails themselves suitable for wheelchair travel is limited. These trails are mainly used by local's walking their dog's, runner's, older folk's taking a stroll, many use it as a shortcut. Bikes are allowed - though most of the trails are narrow, so be considerate of others. They are busy trails - rarely can you use them without meeting someone. My favorite part of this mini park is the faux waterfalls that is located close to the Balmoral Avenue access. It's a lovely little spot to stop for a moment & enjoy nature's sensory input.

A nice shady spot on a hot day for the dog to cool off by having a dip in the creek.

Very pleasant walk, but to be able to finish up at Filberg Park at low tide, walk along the beach path through the marsh grass. The path may be a little muddy in spots.

Nice place

chrystal ellis

My favorite place to walk my dog. A little oasis in the middle of comox. Never feels very hot in there even when it's hot out. When it rains hardly get wet until you get passed the stairs.

Rachel Adams

Absolutely beautiful little creek, feels like an enchanted forest. My dogs even loved it ☺️

Glen Mollett

Great place to bring the hound, it's so beautiful and quiet, it's nice to just hear the river running in the background
