Aura light show at Basilica is must see in Montreal.

Allie

We could not do the tour (not happening during the pandemic), but we were fortunate to be able to go to the Aura Basilica light show, which was very impressive. Expect to be dazzled by beautiful music, lights, and lasers! Highly recommend including this in your visit to Montreal!

Taqiuddin Mohammed (Mo)

Beautiful church…. Great location …. Amazing architecture…. Aura show was worth watching.

Naresh Kuwor

Stunning architectural and sculptural work in this building . There is local guide here, who will explain the history of the building and little bit about the city itself . Enjoyed looking the 360 view right from the centre . This place is must visit if you are in Montreal.

guru shankar

This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited or I should say it’s the best. 8$ CAD was the entry fee and it’s worth it. There were guided tours both in French and English. Guided tours are included as part of entry ticket . Guide shared all the information in an entertaining manner. The interior of the basilica was so stunning and you can’t take your eyes off the sculptures. If you are visiting Montréal this basilica should be added to the must visit list. You could find street parkings around the basilica.

It's beautiful, it's amazing.

Jeanette

During COVID times, as with everything else, advanced reservations were required to enter. Purchased tickets for the light show here. It is one of the top ten greatest experiences I've ever had. The animations and accompanying music was absolutely breathtaking. After the show, the house lights came on and we were able to view the basilica in its natural splendor. A site not to be missed

Norma Lilia

Very architectural, reminded me of Notre Dame in Paris. This is such a beautiful maintained basilica. There is a small charge of $8 CAD to visit inside. A must for all tourists.

donzsy

While it’s truly magnificent from the outside, it will not be a complete experience without checking it from the inside! The interior is so stunning it will take your breath away. I wish I had the chance to see the Aura show but I will make sure to do so the next time we visit Montreal.

RUSSELL HENNINGER SR

What an "INCREDIBLE" experience, I felt truly touch by this experience. This nearly two hundred year old Gothic Architecture church is quite beautiful. But the best was the "Aura" light show, truly mesmerizing. You will feel like you've been touch by the hand of GOD.

Abhirup Chatterjee

This is the best church I have ever been in my life. And the light and sound show ‘Aura’ was simply breathtakingly beautiful.

Booyaka Stubbs (ExplorewithStubbs.com)

A great piece of history in a very cozy part of the belle province. Lots to see and do so come early as there are tour groups. In the evening there is a show called "Aura". A bit pricey as it was $62 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Amazing light show nonetheless. Fabulous artwork throughout the basilica. Light a candle and say a prayer.

Rana Siroosian

Absolutely amazing and beautiful. It was my first time visiting this place, I enjoyed it so much. If you want to get a better deal try to group up and you will receive a discount. Totally recommend this place.

Zoey Zou

When to see Aura and completely blown away. I recommend be there ahead of time so you got to sit in the front and middle to have better experience. I arrive just about the start time but sitting in the back is still good enough.

Laura Carolina

Rather pricey ($14) for being able to walk around the church interior with no guided tour, along with many other people. One hour allowed. There was no printed map or information provided, so we just wandered. There is no senior discount, but a combination ticket with the Aura show gives $4 off each ticket, so an $8 discount, for a total of $35. / Aura show: The 6 pm show (Dec 2-2021) began late, at 6:13, and ended at 6:38. No photography/videography during the show itself; okay while waiting for it to start. The show was quite wonderful, with music (organ, choir, solo voice, orchestra) and lights emphasizing the architectural details of the church’s interior. I liked the snow scenes best.

Niv Pai

The basilica is just beautiful with some amazing architectures. There is an entry fee of $8 per person and $5 if you are between 7-17 years. Definitely worth visiting this place. Parking is hard to find in the area so plan accordingly. Also the basilica is open only from 8am to 4pm.

Marcie Frewin

Of course this is amazing to see, but they were not allowing anyone inside (for pandemic reasons I'm assuming). Although we understood it was still disappointing not to be able to go inside at all. Still beautiful! Wished they did the light show at night when we were there (Sept '21) but that was also not running.

Marcio Risso

Notre-Dame Basilica is simply wonderful, both outside and inside. It's impossible to go to Montreal and not visit it. The visit is paid, but it's worth it. The altar is definitely the hightlight of the visit, it's breathtaking, no image and no words can express the sensation.

Sandeep Hegde

Beautiful Architecture, Aura show is worth it and recommended! Choose to sit in the center if you get in early.

Jay Z

Old style European Church makes you feel like you're in Friends. The grand architecture was amazing and the nice park in front of the entrance is a nice place to hang out or take pictures for visitors and tourists.

Saurin Mehta

Breathtakingly stunning and the AURA show was totally worth the watch. They are taking precautions due to Covid and only letting limited people in, only with reservations, so that was good.

Sonia Bedi

Beautiful experience, book your tickets before hand, it does get full very quick.... not easy to find parking during rush hours. Recommend to walk, you would be able to explore the city well.

Drisya sreekumar

I don’t have words to describe how beautiful this church is… i went for the aura show.. its a must guyss????????????

Sugin Anthony

A "must visit" place in Montreal. Don't forget to buy your tickets online.

Vikram Karandikar

Very beautiful building. I liked the architecture. The paintings and decor are very good. Very quiet place and feels nice. the Auro lighting show is worth watching. it roughly around 35 mins. the sound is quite loud for small children.

Joni Montz

Marvelous at night. If I could, I would take a photo of every corner but it's best to visit the place in-person and take it all in.

Eeshan Kumar

I know it’s beautiful, atleast that’s what I have heard from other people. It was closed due to covid when I visited. Probably not fair to put a 1 star review.

Anas Albakri

It's a must-see if you are in Montreal. One of the oldest french buildings in Montreal. Its beautiful exterior architecture has been made similar to Paris Notre-Dame with slight differences. The interior is also beautiful and worth a visit. Most of the areas around the building are historical so it's nice to have a walk around.

Elí MuGu

Beautiful huge church is a masterpiece. It has an esplanade where you can take photos, it is also around large industrial buildings. If you go in winter it is a sight to see it snow and be there.

Aeros Wang

Such a beautiful light show! The most amazing one I’ve ever seen! The perfect combination of history art and modern technologies and art! During the show I couldn’t stop thinking that how creative and smart human beings are!

Rebecca Sellner

It is a magnificent church. The strained glass is beautification, calming and causes you to reflect on life. A serene setting, which apparently tells the history of Montreal in the strained glass windows on the sides of the interior of the building. It also has a few relics from the old church which had stood in approximately the same location.

Ken Hook

Beautiful Basilica in the heart of Vieux Montreal. It is currently under some construction and is closed to public traffic due to the pandemic - but open for parishioners. Even though we could not go inside this huge church is still breathtaking from the outside - well worth the visit!

Winston Athcr

very beautiful place to visit the Churches are beautiful and they also had an ice village with lots of things to do

Mel Atuati

I went to watch Aura. Was way better than I was expecting. The basilica feels alive somehow, giving you another perspective. And in the plus size is just 25 minutes so you can use the rest of the time to walk around and check the all the beautiful corners. One of the most pretty Basilicas I went. Just keep in mind is a family event. They bring babies, kids…Behind me was a kid that will not stop talking. ???? after while Didn’t bother me anymore.

Chris McCrea

Great if you like old churches. There are guided tours at no extra cost. These are in English too. There is chapel in the back but you will only be able to see this if there is no wedding, etc...

Chris R

Went for the light show and we were very impressed . I have included alot of images of our experience.

Ruthra Jeganathan

Was a beautiful site. Got there just as they were letting people in, got tickets online at that same moment.

Anna Andres

Visited this nice chapel, it was a great experience!

LEONARDO BLENGINI

Really nice experience for your sense and spirits. Beautiful places!!!

pathik patel

Very beautiful place but the ticket is $14 . Parking is very difficult. Most go if you are in montreal .

Isuru Vidanalage

Gorgeous church Beautiful architecture ???? I only went for regular self guided tour ($15) They have Aura show during Thursday and Friday i believe. It is bit expensive but i heard it is really good. They have glass paintings about the history of French influences to Montreal (in terms of the religion) For first time visitors, This is a "must go" place in Montreal

Hector C

Beautiful Basilica!!!. I visited the one in France and they are both just so detailed and we'll maintained. The beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail as well as the color palette on the inside are just incredible. Not to mention the pristine condition in which they keep the stained glass is amazing. It's only $6 for adults to go in and I recommend it so highly. It is one of the oldest buildings left in Old Montreal that is so we'll preserved. It's a must go to place if you are in the city.

Vigneswar M (vicky)

Beautiful basilica, architectural brilliance. Don’t miss the AURA light show, here.

Patrick D

A very surreal moment when we visited the Notre-Dame during our trip! The Basilica was very solemn and it was stunning. We weren’t able to do the tour however, we had the chance to enter the Basilica to see its beauty.

Jyoti Chopade

Gorgeous church. 8$ entry fee for adults but worth it so much to see. Architecture is exquisite. Paintings and statues are amazing. Stained glasses windows are lovely. This church is a perfect place for someone who is a person of faith, or someone who loves amazing architectural design. You will not be disappointed.

Zimo Wang

Must visit spot if you come to Montréal, stunning AURA event, highly recommend to come! Worth the price! Will be back soon!

Alisha Good

I attended the light show and really enjoyed it. The show starts out slow but it does get better. I def think it was worth the cost. Make some phone calls if you'd like to visit during the day, we tried to visit but there was a wedding going on. Not too disappointed because we had booked the night light show, but it still would've been cool to look around with normal lighting.

Pauline Jacob

Beautiful church, it was simply breath taking to see, the architecture was very intricate and the prayer candles lit by visitors have it an additional grandeur. I liked the fact that in spite of tourists coming and going the church has a seperate Chapel dedicated only to prayer. This is a must visit place in Montreal

Jessica Baba

We did the light show inside. A new way to enjoy this spectacular Basilica. It was about 35$ each. And it appears to be full. Need covid vaccination to get in.

David Hopkinson

The outside is nice. Wasn't able to see the inside as they had no opening times while we were there. I get wanting to restrict it to parishioners but it is a monument so even during Covid a limited daily visiting time would have been nice to have

Ponasen Pather

Wow what an amazing experience. I've seen beautiful cathedrals before but the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal was out of this world, mind blowing and stunning and it lived up to every expectation i had for my visit to this majestic land mark in montreal

Alison Berger

Worth it. Only $6. They only take cash, but there is a bank with an ATM literally across from it, and if you have to get out of line to get cash, they let you go to the front which I thought was very considerate. Beautiful. Just breathtaking to let it all soak in. There was quite a line, but it moved quickly and it is a pretty area to be stuck in a line.

Kristina Linden

If you've been to the old European cathedrals, this is quite different. Dark interior, a few stained glass windows, smelling of incense and very touristy. It's 200 years old. Interesting architecture. Worth a visit but slightly overrated.

Michelle Wang

I wasn't expected that the AURA show is going to be that good! I am speechless! If you are in Montreal, you need to go see this light show.

Iowa Reviewers

Beautiful, awe-inspiring church with ornate finishing. The colors and shapes capture your attention and draw your eyes upward, as well-designed churches do, to raise worshippers' hearts and minds toward Jesus. To those who keep it so beautiful, merci beaucoup!

Spectacular, constant 25 minute jaw drop during the Aura light show and a must when visiting beautiful Montreal. This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see such beautiful architecture and history come to life. We were so lucky to be able to witness this and only found out about the actual Aura show when visiting the Montreal tourist info.

john corpus

Majestic church, very symbolic and colorful you will truly feel the religion.

Dmitry Trishkin

They charge 10$ for entrance so I treat this church as an attraction rather then actual church. As an attraction it is beautiful place with a lot of history to it . It was my first time in Montreal and I totally satisfied with what I saw inside this building. However, if you come here to pray you might’ve disappointed with amount of tourists coming through and taking photos. For me as a tourist , it’s 5 stars , enjoy

Corrado VR6 Turbo

Amazing everything, only price is a bit high but we'll worth it because it's a beautiful church, people of all religiouns should visit this beautiful place

Amanda Street

Worth going to and getting the tour. You can use American money long as you have the exact amount. For two people it cost us exactly $16 in American money. The history, view, and details of the building are extraordinary!

abhinav uniyal

The place was closed. No information about it on the website or on the entryway. As a visiting tourist on a short trip and unable to see the basilica was sad. The square otherwise is lively with musicians taking turns to play. It is connected well to the bus transit and rental bikes are available around the place. Not far from the church is the old port area and plenty of restaurants, souvenirs shop etc.

Allie Dunford

*UPDATE* My fiancé, daughter and myself came for the 2pm tour. And let me tell you, we were not disappointed. I walked in and it took my breathe away. There was so much to see and loved how we could go at our own pace. Loved how the tour was set up as well. Finally got to the front and I shed a few tears. Thinking about loved ones here and gone. Even lit two candles. I mentioned to my fiancé I would like to come back at night for Aura show. Loved this church so much

Amedz Traveller

Enjoying to visit here during winter…

Swati Gupta

Beautiful as always, tickets can be purchased online(14$ for adults).

Piers Vaughan

Spectacular interior! A shame they charge $8 for adults and $5 for children under 17 to enter, but any Catholic Church would be proud of the long line outside the Basilica. Sadly, the usual large numbers of Japanese tourists with zero cultural training doing huge family shots and selfies in front of sacred places. The screen behind the altar is astonishing, picturing the four altars of Melchizedek, Abraham, Moses and Solomon, surmounted by the Coronation of the Virgin Mary. A feat for the eyes!

Krupa Shah

Beautiful basilica located in the historic district of Old Montreal. It is breathtaking, ornate, and incredibly peaceful. We did the self guided tour but I plan on doing the Auru Tour if available in the future. They do a show in that tour and provide more explanation.

Adi Rem

Great looking, nice Christmas decorations before Christmas

Antony Nguyen

Went in the evening to see AURA by Moment Factory. Although a bit pricey for a light show, it was worth it in our opinion. The show made use of almost the entire interior of the building and was very well put together. It lasted approximately 30mins but was interesting enough to keep everyone engaged. Note that photos and videos of the show are prohibited. After the show, there is ample time to explore and take photos of the church.

Arina Ivnitskaya

Fascinating place! Will definitely come back to feel that magic atmosphere again.

Richard A

That is amazing touristic place in old Montréal downtown.

rahul tulsian

They don't allow visitors everyday so better check the site before you visit..

Notre-Dame Basilica (French: Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal) is a basilica in the historic district of Old Montreal, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The church is located at 110 Notre-Dame Street West, at the corner of Saint Sulpice Street. It is located next to the Saint-Sulpice Seminary and faces the Place d'Armes square. The interior of the church is amongst the most dramatic in the world and regarded as a masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture. The vaults are coloured deep blue and decorated with golden stars, and the rest of the sanctuary is decorated in blues, azures, reds, purples, silver, and gold. It is filled with hundreds of intricate wooden carvings and several religious statues. Unusual for a church, the stained glass windows along the walls of the sanctuary do not depict biblical scenes, but rather scenes from the religious history of Montreal. It also has a Casavant Frères pipe organ, dated 1891, which comprises four keyboards, 92 stops using electromagnetic action and an adjustable combination system, 7000 individual pipes and a pedal board. Approximately 11 million people visit Notre-Dame Basilica every year, making it one of the most visited monuments in North America - Wikipedia

Sunalini Rana

It is a beautiful cathedral with such magnificent work. The sitting area is quiet but there is no restrictions on taking pictures. Entry fee is $8 per person. The queue is usually long. On a weekday, we had to wait for 45 minutes. The washrooms are at lower level. There is a separate room for praying where photography is not allowed, so be sure to check the signs before clicking the pictures.

Bhanu Pratap

Amazingggg architecture of wood and stone . This huge structure is so eye catching. Every foot of the wall has its own detail and beauty. The environment is so calm and soothing that You will enjoy sitting and just staring around the church. On the back side there is a confession room and had a huge piece of wood art with lots of detail. Photography is allowed inside . Only thing they allow is a hat/cap on the head. And there is no entrance fee.

Goutham Viswam

Well preserved interiors and gothic architecture is a sight to behold.

supriya mor

If you are planning to visit this beautiful church then make sure to buy tickets online from their website. Same day tickets are almost impossible to get. Buy tickets online and you will receive a QR code in email for individual tickets. Make sure to carry your proof of vaccination and one ID with you. They will check at entrance. Tickets will be checked inside. It's a must visit place and most beautiful church I have ever seen. Enjoy!!!

Yakuza Blade

Make sure to Register online if you really want to see inside…. Gorgeous work of art ????…. Sometimes the weekend u planned might be fully booked ???? Good Luck

Riddhima Chandani

It is always so peaceful to visit this Beautiful place! Definitely worth a visit! I am going to come back to visit each time I am in Montréal!

Krishna Sudarshan

Pretty awesome architecture and grandiose in all respects. The wait was long for a tour but when the guide did arrive it was worth the wait. I was hoping the organ would be played but I guess there has to be a special event for that to happen. Interiors was not very bright so it was hard to walk around. But I guess the restrictions on the intensity of the light has to do with preserving the priceless interiors.

Eddie Chan

Made in the 1800's it's one of those places you have to see if you visit Montreal. Try to book for that Aura light show if you can, it's a pretty wild experience.

R R-B

This is a replica of the one in Paris. On the inside this one is breathtaking. You should pay for the tour, it's definitely worth the money.

Philip Sherin Jose

Always a great experience. Love the peace and quiet and the feeling of tranquility. We always attend the lights show, it was cancelled this time around because of the pandemic. A must visit if you are in Montreal!

Joshua Llodrat

This basilica is absolutely divine. Seeing it during the day and at night (for Aura show) are so vastly different yet both stunningly beautiful in different ways. The staff is extremely friendly and couldn’t be more helpful with any questions you may have. So glad we visited this place. The aura show had me tearing up bc it was so beautiful. Don’t miss out on Notre Dame when visiting Montréal.

gloria lai

I love this place. It is a must visit! Especially the light show called AURA is a must!!!! Wonderful time in here. It gives me goosebumps.

Lyn Sychangco

Beautiful architecture inside the church. Close to holiday inn hotel.

Discovering Destinations

Where: Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal What: A Basilica near the old port of Montreal How was it: This Basilica is in a very special setting. The square outside is quite remarkable. It looks great during the day and when it's lit up at night. We were fortunate to visit for Christmas eve. It's quite special with the snow and blue lights. This place looks great any time of the year. Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 5 Recommend: Yes, we like visiting when we are in the area ! Although it’s a shame what they’ve done to the facade. Hopefully they will make it better soon.

Caton L

Easily the most elaborate church I've seen in North America - rivalling some of the best in Europe. The attention to detail is absolutely insane and the modern lighting just accentuates it. Underwhelmed by the outside but more than impressed on the inside.

Georges Younes

Day or night, Europe or North America or anywhere else in the world, this church's interior is very beautifully ornate and colorful. Granted that the prices that they charge to allow you to visit the church are outrageous, but if the maintenance of this church requires extra care, than the cost is justified. They do have evening viewings with a light show that is worth checking out if you like "sight and sound" shows. That show also allows you to take pictures with different light settings, not the easiest to achieve without proper camera equipment and accessories, but worth a try.

Juan Trujillo

My review has nothing to do with the architecture and everything to do with being turned away from worshiping. I attempted to show up for afternoon adoration at 12:15 on a Monday after reading on their website that they had religious services everyday. I arrived at the church only to be turned away as I was not a parishioner. When I asked the lady guarding the door why, she said that there were not a lot of places or times for local parishioners to come in and worship and so this was only reserved for them. On the one hand I understand tourists coming in and not respecting the sanctity of the service by just coming in to take pictures and leave. However, worshiping isn’t a tourist experience in my opinion, it’s part of partaking in the global community that is the church. I was very conflicted to say the least. I would recommend that at least the church mentions the parishioners only adoration services, on their online platform so people from out of town that want to worship know what to expect.

Ramit Gupta

Cant say much but its simply heaven. You have to buy tickets online as they dont sell tickets at the church. So, buy the tickets before you go there. Go on Notredame website and buy it there and once you buy it the front lady will check your vaccination papers, online bar code for the ticket then they will let you in. Once you in there it fells like just take pictures of each and everything in there. More pictures the less satisfying. Rest you can see in my pics below.

Thang To

Must visit - located in the middle of Old Town Montreal the church has one of the prettiest interior I've seen. Try to visit in the early morning or you will likely to stand in a long queue. Alternatively you could pay a bit extra for a walking tour that includes beat-the-queue entry to the church. Totally recommended.

Moe Hemeda

One of the most beautiful cathedrals, If You are spending your day at the Old Port of Montreal, It is definitely worth visiting, Just beautiful colors, Enjoy.

Juan R Ramirez

Magic place and amazing structure and architecture! One of the most beautiful pieces of art in Montreal! Is a must visit place if you are around. Right in the heart of the City!

Lydia L

A must visit when you’re in Montreal. Absolutely stunning architecture. I’m not super religious but I feel serene and at peace whenever I’m here. You might also catch an amazing cellist playing outside the basilica on weekends!

Paul Carr

Oh amazing must see just have to buy the tickets online before going other wise can't go in.

Jen Hamerlinck

This church is a work of art. The organist played the giant pipe organ while we were there. Peaceful place to stop and visit. There is paid (cost us $8 for 2 hours, not bad) parking nearby. Definitely worth the trip.

Ellian Lo

The Aura experience was absolutely amazing. I thought my kids (age 8, 9, 13, 15) might be bored or restless but they enjoyed it immensely. I am so glad we were able to see and enjoy the beautiful church.

german florez d

Is a must in Montreal, the cathedral is really nice and everything is well organized, Aura show is really interesting but is skipable, also is better to be atround 20 minutes before the tickect reservation you buy given the long lines when getting in

Muskaan Walia

It's beautiful. My friend and I attended mass here which was all in French. My only complaint was the lady greeting us at the door kept asking my friend and I questions about our visit. We were coming to attend mass and she questioned us about our intentions for visiting and went over the rules with us. This would not have been a problem except she only did this with my friend and I. I am unsure if this was due to the fact we were much younger than most of the people there or something else.

Majd Moujahed

Book in advance for an entrance. The basilica is not always open for visitors. Otherwise it's a marvelous placecto be

Sheila Asinas

It is amazing architecture. really beautiful. They don't allow picture taking inside.

K. Eat

From the outside, it may appear they are not currently opened for visits, however there are specific time slots that visitors can purchase tickets online for the self guided tour! Beware of the times as its only available 2-3 times per day, and has limited availability (up to 250 guests per slot) to maintain capacity and traffic flow. Currently there are also the AURA performance which from the photos look amazing! Unfortunately it wasn't available for the day I went. Once inside, you can visit the amazing church at your own pace, when the time is about up, an announcement will be made to let you know time is almost up. The church is also actively opened for masses! Currently the souvenir shop is not open, and there's no tentative date as of yet! Be sure to plan ahead and get your tickets on their official website before you go for a hassle free visit!

Dylan Cortes

Absolutely stunning basilica in the heart of old Montreal. We were not able to see the light show but I recommend visiting regardless and having lunch or dinner in old Montreal.

Joseph Mandy

The church is awesome. The alter is majestic. The sculptures, stained glass windows and the overall setting is enthralling. The pulpit is beyond description. A must visit for those visiting Montreal. Remember to book in advance.

Kash

This is not a large basilica but has interesting history. Celine Dion was married here. The stained glass backdrop is just beautiful. There is an amazing modern church in the same premises right behind but no photos are allowed to maintain the sanctity of the place. Must visit.

Made Perfectly

This church was absolutely beautiful. I am not a very religious person but I can certainly appreciate the grandeur of a lovely cathedral. The intricacies were very impressive and the detailed artwork and structure of the building really made me feel like I was transported back in time. You do have to pay to enter however. Personally I don’t feel like you should be mandated to pay to enter a church. Maybe a donation. At any rate, if you really enjoy beautiful architecture and art this is a great place to go and take lovely photos and appreciate an unfortunate dying art form.

Kailyn C.

I was sad to learn that the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal was closed during my trip due to Covid, but their website offered a paid light show called the AURA. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I bought it so I could see the interior of the church. My partner and I lined up for the show, entering it completely dark and still not knowing exactly what to expect except there were going to be lights and music being orchestrated. Holy goodness, sorry for the bad pun, but the show was spectacular. Without giving away too much, the entire delivery, music and show was beautiful executed and professionally done. It paid tribute to the beautiful architecture and spirit of the church in a very respectful manner. Having never been inside too, it was a treat to be able to see the interior pull back slowly as the light came on and to see it completely light up at the end of the show. I’m from the West coast and a friend is visiting Montreal soon, I advised her that it’s a must see. Overall, it’s a beautiful historical landmark that I was also able to experience in a fresh, innovative and extremely memorable way. 5/5 stars from me!

sonny dinh

The architecture is beautiful. The organ pipes are amazing and impressive. The artworks and stain glass windows are inspiring. I love the lighting in the church. There may be a long line to buy the tickets for entrance.

Nitesh Dagur

Has a different vibe to it. Nothing that can be explained. It can only be felt. The show Aura is out of this world.

Ashish Mehra

The Aura show was awesome. The lights and music were fantastic. Its a must watch for anyone living there or spending a holiday in Montreal / Old Montreal. Getting the tickets online ahead of the show is a good idea, they do walk in’s as well but totally depends on the quantity of people, try to get the middle row seats for best experience.
