You have the opinions of real people like you who used the products of La Ronde (Tourist Attraction) near Côte-Saint-Luc (Canada).
As of day the firm receives a score of 4.1 out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is very good, and it's based on a high number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the rating is very faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction corresponds to the category of Theme park.
Great place to go with the kids. However, everything is grossly overpriced (38$ for a pizza). Also the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting to the point that they are not usable.
Fun place with a variety of roller coasters and rides. Although the wait times for some of the rides were 1hr to 1.5 hrs which is a bit ridiculous considering the park is only open for 9 hours. Also a few of the rides were closed which seemed odd. However my girlfriend and I had a very fun time together. Was busy for a Monday but still not too bad. Service could be a bit faster at some of the concession stands - waited 1 hour for a burger and fries and then had to wait another 10 minutes to get my drink? Weird set up. Also it would help if your operators and employees spoke English as I have to imagine their are lots of tourists that do not speak French. I liked it but I think this park could be improved soo much and be so much better and nicer. Le Monstre only has 1 track open also which is odd so the wait all day was 1.5 hours
A good amusement park. It is a bit dated but still has plenty of fun rides. When we went a few attractions were not open likely cause of COVID 19. Definitely worth checking out if you have a family that likes rides.
A nice Six Flags style park in Montreal. "La Ronde" has many rides and you will have a wonderful time with your family or friends.
Never have a bad experience here. The rides are amazing, literally mind blowing how fast they go, how different they are, and how many there are. La Ronde does a good job at keeping this place open with every ride available with short lineups. It can’t be easy to stay open at a time like this. The variety and quality of food is wholesome, just slightly overpriced and the lineups for water bottle refills are half an hour long on a sunny day. Everyone is smiling and happy here.
Fun experience, tho the first ride I went on was the Wooden one and took over and hour in the line which blew a lot of my time, the line times on the other rides were decent. I mean I’d say it’s a couple notches down from Canadas Wonderland for comparison, but it’s got some great rides.
in general, i like how Larond is organizing and staff are friendly. many time ive enjoyed there and have had good experiences. However bought tickets for my family and friend for haunted night event. that was not so La ronde team and organization. over sold and over capacity, i was able to take only one haunted house(was really good) and for second one staff kicked out us. it was not good at all and wont join again to special events. reason to remove one star.
The kids had fun! Which is all that matters but as an adult paying for the day we noticed 75% of the rides were closed, most of the food and game vendors weren't open. The games and food were also very expensive. The food (salads) weren't fresh at all. I had to return 2 until I got her to make a fresh one. I'm guessing the rides, food and games were closed because of staffing issues or covid policy with the amount of people their allowed in and can't afford to keep the others open. I'm glad my kids had fun!
An amazing place. This is the 3rd generation of Montreal kids who are currently visiting this amazing amusement park. Hence, very close to every Montrealers heart. Lot of rides for the adults and equally many for kids. A true adrenaline rushing experience.
It is a really nice theme park. I went there for the first time and I was lost because it was so big but i found my way using the LaRonde app which is a map that you can use to wonder around and is not like a complicated map
Really fun place!! The rides are fun and the food is also really good, is really not cheap though, I recommend you buy the dining pass so you don't have to pay that much for the food, also I really recommend you use tennis cause is a really big place (not enough for you to get lost) and you will get tired after a while, they also have many mesures against covid-19 in place such as the mask and the hand sanitizer in case you are worried about that ???? I really suggest go and give it a try, at least in my experience is was really nice???? Great place for families, there is a kid zone where kids from 7 -12 (if I'm not mistaken) can enojoy as well, but you also have many rides (way many) for adults (or teenagers that's on you), note that the parking lot can be expensive as well, here are some photos for you????
A fun time. Waits for rides weren't too long. Parking was easy as we got there early enough. Food was pricey as expected. Buying the refillable bottles was well worth it. Staff was helpful and kind.
Without using a car the way to get to this park with public transit is kind of a pain but it also might have been my ability to manage directions. Went to this park with two kids under 5. It was great for a couple just stopping in as we paid for a membership for two received two free guest admission. So here we went into the land of rides sugar rides sugar rides sugar. There is a lot of places to eat be mindful it’s crazy expensive and it’s all the same. The rides looked relatively maintained it some parts of the park cleared haven’t been updated or seen attention for some years. All of the staff were friendly and not demanding like some great place for an afternoon.
Good rides, good price (except for food), don’t try to bring snacks and print your tickets. The service is precarious, the crew is mostly rude, doesn’t like to talk English, and the communication is poor.
Horrible customer service!!! The customer service department there dosent help at all i got charged full price for a wrist band to refill drinks and staff put the wrong date on it then later on refused to give me the refill that I paid for on top of that they say the meal plan is the best option but when staff sees u using it they give u attitude and treated badly as well gotten my food order wrong a bunch of tiime. And when u make a complaint to customer service they don't listen, and if you make to much complaints they threaten to take your season pass away. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY.
Their booking system is disaster, when you purchase your tickets, they will ask you which date you want to go, once you receive confirmation email, it ask you to go to their reservation portal to book again(put all the tickets number) , it’s truly waste time, other than that, I got nothing to complain, the waiting time for most ride is around 20 minutes, but some can take up to an hours or more, trust me if it gonna take up to an hour to wait then it’s not worth your time and not fun at all!
Even though were passing through a clitical time with the pendamic, i did not feel unsafe taking rides or move around like at normal days. Staff were also guiding for extra precautions, such as reminding people to keep their masks on, sanitizing, etc... Smoking was prohibited in the area, however there are up to 2 places where people can smoke.
My share will be regarding the drop off area in front of the entrance. First, it's very easy to arrive by car, used Google map of course. There's an exit on the bridge itself, don't miss it! Then a few turns and you are at the front entrance with a 5min drop off area (débarcadère). The one star is for my daughter's fainting and no one brought her to see a nurse or doctor. And it's too crowded also.
Great place to spend time with family. Awesome for children and adults but as all other attractions parks there's always to many people and long waiting for each attraction.
Went to La Ronde Sat Oct 5th for Freight Fest. It was wonderful. There were acts and things to see and do in addition to the rides. It was well done. Also, the scary actors were great with my 7 yr old. She actually began to enjoy herself. Some adults were overreacting with screams, but once you look at all the detail they put in, it was a great day. I have included a few pics.
It really comes hard to compare when it is the only Themed Park in the area. It isn't the best themed park, but definately the only one. It provides rides for all ages (under ~50). The rides are mediocre but you will find for everyone's sensation. The price is very affordable pre-season as attendance hasn't been the best these past few years.the food is limited and wish more healthy choices would be available.
We visited on Saturday Sept 4, probably the first weekend day where they had to check vaccination. The line was insane, it took us 1h45 just to get in the park. That's not acceptable. We were coming from Ottawa, so our time on-site was limited. They only had 4 employees checking people vaccination!! That what was holding up the entry so much! When we got inside the park, lines were very long, even for little kids rides. It's not always easy to make them wait! Avoid the halt gourmande restaurant, it takes them a very long time to serve one customer. I gave up after the line to get a sandwich had not moved in 30mins. The rides are fun and the park is well maintained.
Had fun on the rides, but won't be visiting again unless for a paid corporate outing. The price wasn't worth it for the looong wait times for every ride unless you pay an extra fee for a fast pass. We went on a Wednesday and it took 45 minutes to get into the park, and were only able to visit 4 rides in a 5 hour day. I recommend bringing your own food and a big water bottle in, because otherwise I would've been spending $4.75 on a bottle of vending machine water (most water fountains are shut off) and the food is somewhat pricey/small in quantity. There was also very little shade available (especially in the long ride lines) unless you're going into a store, note to bring a hat or umbrella if you're sensitive to heat stroke.
So much fun. Definitely worth getting a season pass.
We were here in 2007. We had a blast have always been meaning to go back but then covid hit. Will for sure when all this is over.
It was very fun though it need to have more rides for kids 8 years. And you're better off buying the season pass because if you go over one day it cost pretty much the same thing as a season pass and I recommend taking the ultimate pass which incl udes parking free drinks and refills and also one free snack and one free meal
I was lucky enough to go there during it was relatively empty, so I didn't have to wait that much, however, as far as I know, usual wait times for the most popular rides can be around 2-3 hours, so be prepared. The staff were very helpful, and I had a great time. Also, just like any other amusements parks, expect the prices to be sky-high if you want to have a small snack, or drink.
It’s okay for little bit of fun…not a huge park. If you even been to wonderland in vaghuan…this place looks very tiny in front of it. Cleanliness of the place isn’t very good as well. Rather plan you trip to other places in Montréal instead of visiting this amusement park.
If you wish to be treated like sheeple, enjoy super long lines (1 or 2 hours) and want to have shady pricing where they sap the very last drop of your blood, leaving you broken in spirit - then you should definitely visit this place. It was a truly horrendous experience. What a waste of time and money and of a beautiful summer day.
We took advantage of the $50 season pass, as a day pass was $30, so well worth the money. We've been twice and plan to go more times. Each time has been really fun! You'll probably not be able to go on every ride in just one day, so get there early to minimize a long lineup time. The first time we arrived 9:45am (park opens at 10am) and waited maybe 45 minutes. The second time we arrived after midday and didn't get in until 2pm! The best thrill ride is definitely Le Monstre so far. I waited 45 minutes for that ride and my partner waited a little over an hour. There are two tracks, first one is slightly higher and the second track is very similar but apparently knocks you around more, so I went on track 1. The Orbite is by far the most disappointing ride- one quick fall to the ground and that's about it! At least you can bypass the lineup if you're a solo rider like I did and waited less than 5 minutes. I had to ask to be let on however, as the staff just ignored me. Ednor and Boomerang are very fun! Tip: if you have long hair, make sure any hair-ties are positioned low so that you can put your head flush against the headrest, as otherwise your head will be thrown about rather violently, as I found out. The log ride I waited for about an hour and was NOT worth the wait! There's just one small drop, though you do get very wet, so that's fun. I think due to Covid, the lineup has gotten ridiculous, seeing as every other row on the log has to be left vacant, so only about 6-9 people can board at a time. The ride in the dark was very tame, not worth the almost hour wait time, more of an older kid's ride. I'm very disappointed that both times we've been, the monorail has not been running, why? It would be an awesome way to oversee the park and get your bearings a little! The kids' section of rides is ample enough, best ride is the tree swing. Definitely try and eat a lot before entering the park, as you're not meant to bring in any outside food or drink and if you get searched, it will be confiscated. And yes, food inside the park is super expensive. The first time here we spent over $100 in food for two adults and a toddler, ridiculous! The food court near the Loto Quebec fireworks section has the worst quality food and prices so far, poutine terrible and healthier salad bowl option in the big glass building was very unappealing with gloopy over cooked rice and they were out of some ingredients for my salad, not to mention the 30+ minutes wait! The second time going was on Sept 4th and there was meant to be a Labour Day fireworks display, yet when we asked an employee at the end of the day, they said they were cancelled. It would have been nice if they had notified people of this, as their Six Flags phone app said it was scheduled! Speaking of the app, it's good for directing you to rides etc but it constantly says 'closed for the season' on every single ride in the park, please fix this!!! Some other negatives: park is no frills scenery with run-down looking paintwork etc. Obviously the Montréal weather plays a part in this. More plants to make it prettier would be nice! Another negative is people do not respect the 2m distancing during these Covid times, which is frustrating, although since the vaccine passport has been implemented, I'm more at ease about the lack of distance, although of course you 'could' still get Covid after being vaccinated, but the risk is greatly reduced. It would be nice if there were staff to make sure people follow the Covid rules, as so far, nothing has ever been said to rule breakers, which is 90% of people! Better/ more signage for solo riders would be nice too, so that you don't queue up for ages only to later realize you could have skipped the long wait. I didn't see a solo riders sign for the adult swings for example and queued alone for almost an hour, yet there were many swings left empty... why not let solo riders fill them up and reduce wait times? Souvenirs are reasonably priced though, grabbed a nice long t-shirt for my daughter for only $5, it was on sale. Overall a great park!
Very perfect place for family entertainment and couple date. I like all the ride inside the park. Only problem is there is many birds(Sea Gull)in the park on Summer. I sacred that birds so much and affect my mood when I saw them (especially in eating area!). The park should fixed the problem of birds and let every guests play without stress!
Great surprise to have a vaccino- mobile in La Ronde, we take our second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine there. It was packed, that wasn't a good surprise, I don't understand why they make you do do a reservation if still they will allow a lot of people to get in, and even with reservations you have to be in the line for long time; almost anyone was respecting the social distancing and not enough staff to check that people followed the cautionary measures. A lot of people without masks were seen outside the food court areas (were is allowed to remove the masks to eat). Locations were clean.
Great place to get fun but they really need to improve the food places, the food is terrible and expressive. 3 different places, 3 disappointments. But if you don't think about eat and just get fun, is really nice.
Good roller coaster! Few people (covid times). A lot of fun.
It's an amazing amusement place for spending time with family and friends. Several thrilling rides are here to enjoy.
One of the worse six flags I’ve been to. First of all, the entrance is hectic if you’re using public transport. Normally you can enter from exactly where the bus drops you off, but for some reason they decided to block that entrance off so you have to walk for 10 minutes to enter. Worse off, you’re basically walking around the blocked entrance points. Secondly, the staff at the entrance are just rude. I know it’s not fun to stand there all day and I feel for you, but you shouldn’t exert your frustration onto the customers. The rides are decent, although you wait 45 minutes for a ride that takes 3 minutes; which kinda ruins the fun. I get it, there is not much to do when the place is crowded and there are only so many amusement options. What’s NOT decent is that Wooden roller-coaster. It’s not a good sign when you see their medical crew assisting people and taking them away in their golf-cart ambulances twice while waiting yourself to go on the same ride. The ride itself is very rough and not what I expected from Six flags. There was also a Ferris wheel which was alright except it felt quite old, which it probably was. Food&drinks expensive. Overall this place needs to be renovated, which is odd considering they have quite some time doing repairs during winter season.
Wish they had more arcade games or something suited for older groups. but the rides are good prices are decent lots of places to get food and drinks. The gift shops are alright.
Awesome place to have a fun time. Some parts seems lacking of maintenance and I hope they have plans to address that soon. I bought the season pass and I'm looking forward to purchase the 2022 pass as well and support this amazing local place.
Great summer activity. I got the season pass which is an amazing deal. There is a great assortment of rides. The park is a great size that you can visit all sections in a day. Food is expensive-- to be expected. Rides are great. Highly recommend the titan and the vampire. Also check out the mini rail, which was built for expo 67! Recommend getting a gold cup, you can refill all day with soda or sparkling water, you can even buy some shots at the saloon and pour them in your cup and walk around...its allowed. Fireworks start june 29th!
The Titan ride malfunctionrled and we were swinging for about 5 to 10 mins, we had to wait for technician to stop it, we felt a little dizzy after, they gave us water and flash ride which we did not use because I only wanted to go home because I felt like I want to vomit.
Customer service was quite poor and getting in the park was way more complicated and long than it needed to be. The roller coasters were pretty good but many were closed. The food was very pricey, 10$ plus tax for a slice of pizza (they don’t let you bring in your own food). Also, unfortunately the park is becoming more and more run down and does not look very well maintained. Some employees were downright rude for absolutely no reason, one employee in particular at the Goliath looked like she was releasing all her anger pushing in the coaster seats quite aggressively. Still an ok park if you’re looking for good old roller coasters but don’t expect it to be as good as other six flags parks.
a pretty organized amusement park in montreal. we first took the metro then transferred to a bus/shuttle that takes ur directly to the park. i would highly recommend taking the bus as driving can be a hassle getting out of the park during closing time. there were a couple fun rides we went on but the wooden roller coaster and a few other thriller rides were closed due to covid. the wait for a few popular rides was very long and we had to forfeit a few rides due to the machine malfunctioning. outside food is not allowed because you go through security upon arrival
Lots of fun - very busy, and not much in terms of social distancing in any lines. Boomerang, Vampire, and Titan are the top one's to hit if you want some great highs!
It was an amazing experience... I was thrilled by the rides... It is sooo big that I wasn't able to do all the rides... Food or soft drinks of your own is not allowed to take inside. Food stalls and shops are available at the park itself. Mask is compulsory in almost all the rides in current situation.
Really awesome and huge park with plenty of fun rides. Lines aren't too long now because of covid. Went today ( Jul. 23 2021 ) and the longest lineup was 40 minutes for the Dragon, but every other lineup was around 10-20 minutes.
I visited this place during covid in the month of September 2020. Park had 4 roller coasters that was extreme fun, titan and vampire are the notable extreme ones. Slingshot requires extra 20bucks fee. There were many restaurants inside. Restrooms were clean. Most of the stores were closed. Covid precautions was there. Ample parking. Overall felt there could have been more rides. But it's worth to visit once. Ample parking available.
》Really One of the best Amusement parks In Canada after Wonderland. Gets quite busy on weekdays too. "Flash Pass" is recommended to maximize fun! 》Food is very Expensive and new added Security terminals is annoying and it causes very big lines at the entrance. Lines are long yes but it's cause it very busy nowadays.
Definitely needs some TLC, but we had fun - that’s the most important thing. Oh, and the dining passes are probably not the best value. The line was pretty long at around 10am, but moved relatively fast, so with all the people standing there it was not that bad. All in all - we’ll come there next time we’re in Montreal.
Really amazing events, rides and a great place to go for an adrenaline rush. Lineups are obviously long but sometimes worth it. The food is quite expensive, I recommend eating before going.
Overall good experience, when you enter the park after the metal detectors it's a bit of a free for all not organized well at all, also the food was overpriced and bland. The kids had a blast, there are rides for all ages! The rollercoasters were a BIG hit
We had a great day out, even in these unprecented times. Be sure to book tickets online prior to going, we saved ourselves quite a bit of money. A ton of rides for the little ones, with virtually no waiting, the same can't be said for the roller coasters and more popular rides. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My only real concern is that it is completely impossible to social distance from anyone, anywhere. Covid protocols and enforcement need to be followe up on. Judging by the crowd, masks were entirely optional, even though there were signs everywhere stating differently.
I had a nice time in La Ronde. But the service costumer really close by to the lake was really bad because of a guy with large hair and skinny. He was dressing a net on his head. I guess he is the boss not sure about that but he was doing NOTHING when the place was pack. One girl was preparing all the food for the people and he was just watching. Was hard to see it. He is not the kinda of person you want in your team even if is a boss or not.
Parents smaller that anticipated. Paid for a meal plan but Noone knee how we could use it. It was 6pm before we got access to our unlimited drinks after I paid $8.04 for a sprite cause I was told the meal plan didn't include a drink. At the place they were supposed to give me a bracelet. The website advertised Fear Fest but didn't indicate it was not included in Park admission. Most of the concessions were closed. I'll try again in the summer. Rides were great with no line up.
Other than running around to complete registration of a season pass and having to wait in reasonable lineups for some of their better rides like the monster roller coaster, it was a decent fun day. Restaurants are not too cheap and a ride called Splash was closed by 8 p.m. (maybe because of the fireworks?) If you do plan to go, you may as well get a season pass as a single entry was close to $80 dollars. Note that because of where it is located that some of the pictures where taken from higher areas like from the Ferris wheel and/on the grounds or near the parking area.
We were in this attraction park right after thzy opened their doors after Covid-19 restrictions! We missed a lot to have fun!
My friend from Québec set the bar so low for this place but I came away from the experience thinking it was rather excellent. Yes, the park is not in excellent condition. Yes, of course there are lines. Yes, there is rust and fading paint. Yes, some of the souvenirs are cheesy and cheap. Nevertheless, the location is super cool. The rides were amusing, scary, and fun, as they should be. The French-English fusion is wild and fun to listen to. Overall, it was a great experience. I came from the United States with a Diamond membership and it was honored everywhere.
You can have fun, if you come here in summer. toronto's wonderland is best
Great experience. Tickets are 30$ Waiting time is very long to get onto any rides. On the weekend is very busy. Open till 8pm also most of rides closes before 8pm. Overall I had great time they have lots of option for food and drinks, they also have small stores for clothes, accessories and toys.
The park is very good, lots of toys but the time you spend playing on each one is not worth it giving how much you have to wait on the line. Another thing that I found is that most of employees act like they don't like what they're doing. I spent the whole day there, only 1 person was happy when receiving people to play. If you have family with small children, I recommend you go there after lunch, otherwise, the line would be huge, even though you pay for reservations beforehand. My experience was good, specially for my kid, however, I would think twice before going there again.
It was pretty fun. Smaller than CW, but still a pretty good time. It was a little crowed by mid morning so, be sure to get there early. Sadly there are a lot of delinquent buildings in the park that really degrade the ambiance.
Lots of fun for my kids aged 8 and 11. There are a wide variety of rides open to them. I found if you can go early and during the week the wait times for childrens rides are not bad at all.
Overall, it was a great place for getaway with friends and families. However, the waiting time for some rides is ridiculously horrible, for example, the rollercoaster. This thing would not happen of you have a flash ticket.
Great place for the entire family. The lines to some of the ride's can take awhile. No fast pass or reservations can be made to shortcut the lines. There's dudes available for people of all ages. We went in the summer where the park is the best place to view the annual fireworks show
The rides were great for either kids or adults, I just wish they will have more toilets and places to get cold water, the line up was soo crazy! We waited 1hour and half outside just to get in, so I hope they will find a way to make everything faster from checking the vaccination passports, checking the bags, etc. ! Some rides are closed, and if you go by Saturday expect a long wait in line for every rides! Patience is the key ???? if you want to have Fun! ????
6 flags! La ronde whew shook my soul out of my body after almost 2 years of Covid 19 lockdown. Some rides are still closed though
Really this place is great. It's true that there are some pretty old rides that are often closed, but I don't blame Six Flags for that. after covid & all. There is a lot of quiet places to relax too when you've maybe gone on 1 ride too may. Plenty food options including 1 healthy/vegan one. Really recommend families to go at least once this summer. I got a season pass, so worth it.
It's been almost ten years since I went to La Ronde...and it was awesome! I bought the season pass for 50$...a lot less then back in the days and the parking is included. All the rides were amazing and I was lucky to go when the place wasn't very crowded so I did more rides :) !! The food is alright you have a lot of choices. I'll wait for futur events to go back..like Halloween...nuit blanche and others. GO GET YOUR PASS NOW!!!
It was fun except it would be better when every ride is open and covid is gone
I go here every couple years and it's always fun! Really appreciate all the precautions in place during this weird time. We drove in from Ottawa, so we were a little bummed out to see Le Monstre closed all day, but otherwise we had fun trying new foods and doing the rides that were open. As great for adults as it is for children!
you can have really fun day with your friends many roller coasters ???? and good food
Me and my wife had a lovely full day with extremely enjoyment. Our honeymoon was planned to travel from Ontario/London to Quebec province .... this place added so much amazing and funny time to our milestone We recommended to add more games especially for winter season! Thanks La Ronde ❤️
The parking lot for La Ronde is not where you think it is, so make sure you ask and confirm you’re in the right spot. Otherwise we had a fantastic time with our 20m old kid. **Edit to respond to the owner: My favourite part is a bit cheesy, but it was our first time on the swing and I had my hand over her torso as we were going up. As we picked up speed I could feel her experience a huge rush and she just screamed with joy and threw her arms up. That memory is going to live with me for forever.
I go to LaRonde a lot. It is one of my favorite places here in Montreal. The high roller coasters are perfect for those who are looking for that adrenaline boost, while the less intensive games they have are perfect for little ones and people who don't like too much adrenaline.
Always having great time entertaint my kids during summer also bought season pass is worth the money.
Arrived nice and early and the wait for most rides were under 20 minutes, even by 8:00PM the waits were decent. Food and drink a little pricey but nothing out of the ordinary for a theme park. And on top of that I seen what I think is a beaver for the first time!
excellent place for the family, it is advisable to arrive super early so you can get on all the games! buy your tickets online so that everything is faster.
It was super! We had to wear a mask but there was no waiting time to get in and for the rides!! It was very clean, they disinfect regularly. I will definitely go back this year!
Didn't really get to go on any of the rides because one of my family members got hurt (nothing to do with the park). The doctor and security were really helpful in addressing our issue. The customer service representative Sylvia C. was also really helpful and gave us a refund since one of us got hurt and we didn't go on any of the rides. Would definitely come back here next time we visit montreal.
Night lights were amazing!! Enjoyed a lot….. Best trip to La Ronde!!! You can enjoy lots of fun rides with your family and friends. One of the beautiful attractions of Montreal !!!
Given tickets are half price this season, this is a great deal. The park needs some upgrades but is clean and safe with several fun rides. Lots of food options too.
We had a fantastic day! The flash passes were totally worth it as the kids were able to do all the rides and went back 3-4 times on some of them. It for a little crowded around 4pm and the food stands were painfully slow, which is the only thing I can complain about.
30$ all access halloween night wouhou! Can't access a thing because the lines are so long. How many tickets did you guys sell? Arrived at 6:45 PM, had time to do one haunted house it was already 9PM, and 2 of the other haunted houses were closed already. Bottom line: 30$ for one 5 minute haunted house, 2+hrs of waiting. Never coming back.. sell appropriate amount of tickets.
One of my favorite place to be during summer. If you have a season pass, then end of May and early June is best time to come since kids are still in school and there’s almost no line. When the real summer comes, the lines can even be over 2h but the fireworks is definitly an amazing show. As summer ends, you still have the halloween period to be excited about.
Mimimal wait times and overall an amazing experience. Goliath is my favorite ride so far.
Very dated, average food, needs a paint job, but the kids like it!
Awesome amusement park with lots of attractions and rides for all ages. The only negative side is the foodservice which is definitely not the greatest, staff is very slow and the lineups to order and pay take forever.
I’d like to leave a quick fresh review right after my entry in the park. I was stopped by the security because I had a camera in my bag with removable lens. The security said the reason was for the “high” value of the professional camera. I told her it’s not professional. She insisted me to rent a locker and deposit it there. After, I checked the website, the actual rule is: the use of such type of camera is not allowed. She could have simply restate the rule for me. I had brought this camera to many other amusement parks like Disney and universal but never faced such a ridiculous attitude. At the entry , we also experienced inexperienced staff not knowing the process of accepting seasonal pass with bad attitude. I’d recommend their management do more Gemba walks and improve clarity of their procedures as well as employee training.
I had such a fun experience at La Ronde despite some delays and trouble with my digital card requiring a physical card despite it being my first day.
We had a really fun day. I think the entrance fee is super accessible so for 20 bucks more we bought the season pass to be able to come as many times as we want. We bought the meal package with two meals with unlimited refills to stay hidrated for 34 cad which was a good deal. Our favorite ride was definitely THE BEAST, oldie but goodie, what a thrill! One word of advise is that if you come in bixi the parking will quite probably be full, but you can't go to the next one over and it should be fine.
Nice park but a bit old. Monster & boomerang are really old and they are rough and hard on our body lol.
You absolutely need to be patient... Staff isn't trained well, they're slow.... everyone seems lost and unable to answer my questions. Besides that it's a great place to spend a day with your kids and obviously everything is just over priced and the do not allow you to being any food nor water bottle....
First time to La ronde, went this weekend which happened to be when they were celebrating Halloween. was a great time . Lines are crazy! But worth it !!! Also parking doesn’t take debit only visa or change which I found that out the hard way.
Lots of different rides for all ages. Unfortunately, over the years the management has not been keeping up with the grounds landscaping and cleanliness. Have been coming here almost 40 years and have always had a great time with our family and friends. Brings back great memories to come here and show my kids the park.
The staff was amazing. Everyone was just really really great. It surprised me. And for an amuzement park, the food options are pretty good. It is not very wheelchair friendly. We had to rent a wheelchair and it was pretty old, breaks were bad. The price is right at the moment. Onky 30$ to get in. The rides are not as big as wonderland but still a fun place.
It was my first time on a rollercoaster and OHMYGAWDDDD!!! It wass dukknggg craazzzyyyy!!! I am so glad I did my firat ones at LaRonde❤️❤️???????? I cried! I had a near death experience! I screamed but it was THE BEST
Great fun! The flash pass platinum is really worth it! I just wish there was at least one good restaurant on site.
It's an alright amusement park. I like that it's pretty easy to get to by public transportation from the West island. The rides are okay, and the lines are never long when I go. Be sure to go on a cloudy day! Also, wear a winter jacket if you go to fright fest. It was snowing on the last weekend... Here are some photos fron the view of the ferris wheel
Good place to visit though a little bit small compare to Disney or universal studios. But the basic season ticket is so cheap, even cheaper than a daily ticket. I enjoy running from home to the park and just to relax watching people having fun in there.
Overall it was a great park, great rides, very beautiful, variety in food all this i would rate a 4 but the flash pass was disappointing that it didn’t include all the rides & when your at a huge park walking all day there should be 2 service centres & not only 1. You loose 30 min on your flashpass in order to bring it back on time & most likely walking from one end to another which is really annoying. That way regardless what end you get out of there is a service centre to return your flashpass & last but not least it was the worst parking experience Ive ever had. Nobody wants to be stuck for almost 2 hrs at the end of the day.
Due to the reservation and the limited number of entries, the waiting time for activities in the children's section is much less than before.
The line to go in is about 2 hours.. so if you gonna be there early you better take the time to arrive 2 hours before.. The rides are nice but the food is horrible and really expensive.. All the restaurants have not quality..
A great place to spend time with friends and family or even alone if you wish to, it can't be completed in a day so you have to visit atleast 2-3 times to enjoy it all, plus there are fireworks sometimes at night which is cheer on top and best deal is to get a season pass so UNLIMITED ACCESS TO THE PARK THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
Was kinda disappointing . Had 1115am time slot but due to huge line got in park at 12 pm . Only made it on 5 rides before closing at 7pm! Waited almost 2 hrs for le monstre . Best ride by far is goliath. Lot of people not wearing mask . And games charge tax which was a first for me . Oh and worst of all many rides not open in the middle of summer ! Would not go back or recommend
An amazing place, full of living environment and various activities to uplift the mood
It was a blast, line up were 20 mins.... The food voucher thing sucked
Amazing rides, although a little scary for me. Respectable staff, tons of cool themes, and events especially during spooky season. Overall, very enjoyable.
We got the season membership thinking it's a deal. Unforunately this is a scam. If you buy a daily ticket, you can enter the day of, but if you have a season pass, you can't make the same day reservation. So they are forcing people to buy daily tickets, which of course is more money for them. Also, the line at every food conseccion was painfully long, NOT just because there was a lot of people, but because a lot of employees are not properly trained. Some did not even know how to ring a cash register properly.
Customer service is NON EXISTENT! Cant get anyone on phone to talk to. Parking is overpriced (8$/hr, 15$/2 hrs, 30$/day). Food is overpriced (35$ + tax for burger, fries, pop). Male attendants cleaning ladies bathrooms (and not closed for service). 75% of rides are shut down and no notice of it - we got an app that didnt mention anything about rides being closed till the day of our visit - thats why we tried calling and no answer, so you gotta pay for parking and spend more money for nothing. You can imagine lineups on open rides - and that was on a week day. In short - LAME, TAME AND OVERPRICED! We left after not even 3hrs. We wasted a beautiful day in Montreal on nothing.
Fun rides with short lineup compared to Canada's Wonderland, maybe it's because it's end of September and the weather is cooler. Also like the fact that the food isn't overpriced.
Let me start of by saying that I am a very big theme park enthusiast and I have visited countless parks all over the world to compare La Ronde to. Out of all those parks La Ronde is definitely in the top 3 worst ones. This park is literally and figuratively falling apart. I read some reviews of people blaming Six Flags, which is fair, but Six Flags does have parks like Great Adventure and Magic Mountain which are amazing... so then I wonder wether the probem lies with the government of the city of Montréal or with the province. Here are some of the issues I encountered: -Half of the rides are either not running or are breaking down constantly, which shows that they are either outdated or/and not well maintained. -The employees at the attractions are one of the slowest I have ever seen, half of the time they are even just speaking with each other while guests are waiting to get their bars checked. -Most of the restaurants are closed, even then the choice of food is horrendous, it is pretty much all fast food and none of it makes me want to eat here. On top of that the prices are laughable. -The buildings and 'theming' (if there is any) is falling apart, the colors are gone, there is no cohesive theme in the park or areas. Most of the buildings are just basic concrete. This has to be better in a park. -Le Monstre (wooden coaster) has been defunct since 2020, yet the park doesn't post this anywhere and lets noone know, not even the employees knew when I asked around if it will open again. However there are some plus sides to this park: -Goliath and Vampire are great rides. Eventhough Vampire is a Batman clone, the layout packs a punch. Goliath gives some great airtime and views of Montréal. -The park is easily accesible by bus or metro from downtown. -This Six Flags park has the cheapest season pass. So when you get your gold season pass at La Ronde you can visit all the other Six Flags parks in the US and Mexico inside the deal, which is great. All in all, this park should either be completely renovated or just destroyed and sold for scraps. You can do better Six Flags...
Different rides, the kids enjoyed it big time. Being in my 40's I avoided some crazy rides but what would I love more than seeing the kids have an amazing time? There are rides for everyone. Parking is expensive though.
Nice rides, lots of adrenaline. I dont recommend going on the weekends if you have the option not to. The lines were huge on Saturday. On Tuesday, the average waiting time was 15/20 minutes per ride. Worth buying the season pass!
Always loved laronde if you don't drive or travel a lot , a summer pass is worthed. Since the pandemic, less rides are opened. A bit difficult to keep distance from ppl . But really enjoy every visit
Hadn’t been here in over three years. Was not worth coming back. There are only 4 or so adult rides that are interesting. The food is so overpriced to be expected but ridiculous. With COVID be sure to buy your tickets prior and reserve your day before going. One of the good things is that there’s not as many people as there used to be so there was hardly any lines for the rides if any.
My son love all the ride. The food package is well worth it. But the wait is long for the drink and food :)
It's ok but not as good a other six flags parks. Also had a very bad incident with a employee today her name is Stacey in first photo posted very rude because of the handicap pass I had today even threw in my face when she was done writing on my paper
Rides are good. But ofcourse long ques. The staff is a bit weird they didn't let my child ho in few rides becoause of her height restriction with i understand, but they let other french people's kid go when their heights were smaller than my kid. I saw a really good deal online but the lady at the ticket booth didn't let me purchase it she said even if i purchase it for today online she won't give it to me because it's sold out. And i shoukd come back again tomorrow and then buy that deal. The next day when i purchased it online and went to the ticket booth they told me it's nothing to do the booth i can easily go directly in as i have online ticket. That is so weird. The lady just wasted out whole lady.
Amazing experience today! They implemented great protocols and procedures. It was a safe and fun environment. Wait times were not long at all which made the visit very enjoyable. Was very surprised to see the monster open as the website mentioned it was closed for the season. All rides were working and no breakdowns today. I did not get the season pass as I saw many poor reviews. Will be visiting again and purchasing a season pass!
Terribly managed. Dining Pass does not save you money or time! Spent 2 hours waiting in line just to receive dining pass wristband. Ride attendants will put 1 person in a 4-6 person cart, making even the most shortest of line waits an hour. Clearly park staff are not properly trained. No continuity or care of service whatsoever. Website advertises Fast Pass but not available upon purchase online or in-person. Do yourself a favour and go to a rollercoaster park in the U.S. or even Alberta! Worst rollercoaster park experience of my life.
Nice to be back on some coasters. This park is decent, but rather tired (and in some cases... Exhausted) English is obviously not the main language here, so it can be a bit of a barrier if you don't speak French. The meal plan is bit of a joke. Ordered online and checked in when we arrived. The pass is printed on a 8.5x11 piece of paper with a giant barcode on it. Because I didn't bring a 3-ring binder to the park with me, I had to fold it up to fit in my pocket. In doing so, the fold makes the barcode difficult to scan. It was difficult to use and the majority of the staff didn't have a clue how to use them. The selections are limited and serving sizes are small (for the price). Nice to have the unlimited drinks though. Wouldn't buy again. Parking was convenient and well organized.
Since this review, La Ronde has responded to say "they will pass on my message to management". Please note that nowhere in their correspondence they commit to informing the public of their limited opening hours which is such an easy fix... if they cared! I think the following correspondence should say the contempt with which they view their customers: Dear La Ronde, I purchased two tickets and parking for today 8th October. On my arrival the park was closed. Although park opening hours are can be found after a come clicks on your website, no where through the ticket purchasing process is the customer informed that the park only opens at 6 pm and closes at 8 pm. This caused a ruined day, deep disappointed, a crying child and hours in the traffic. Please issue me with an immediate refund and may I recommend that you clearly state your opening hours during the ticket purchasing process. Here is their response after 2 weeks on Oct. 22nd : Thank you for reaching out to La Ronde Support Center. With regards to the current situation, we understand your request. When La Ronde products are purchased, our guests agree to terms and conditions which mention that all of our products are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be upgraded for a promotion change. For these reasons, we are unable to approve your request. Thanks! La Ronde - Centre de support | Support Center
They didn't allow a small sandwich and fries for my baby as lunch or snack. Also small ????. That's why 4 out of 5 otherwise it's a nice place for grown ups who likes to be in danger. They also have games for kids. My son is 91 cm. and he was able to go on a train for kids with his father. Was toooooo crowded and long waiting for each game we were able to try 3 games alone and one with my son, long waiting to enter in the morning.
Had an absolute blast here, you never run out of things to do, lots of fun, lots of rides and games, tons of people, friendly people, Great food, just an absolute amazing place, and definitely think others should give it a try.
It was an exhausting experience, as it was hot and an abundance of people. We waited in line for more than 30'. It looked fun and exciting, but impressively crowded. Food is too expensive, bring your own food and eat at least one hour before you are going on the rides and leave in the car.
So much fun. Go early morning to avoid the afternoon rush (and the afternoon heat). I wasn't the biggest fan of the food choices but the park has a wonderful set of rides and even the smaller, less scary ones are very very fun to visit. Great day trip! Bring a hat and sunglasses.
Get there early in the morning right when it opens, if you need a good experience. Rides are ok but nothing extra ordinary. Does not live up to the title of Canada's 2nd largest amusement park title. Long queues as expected in Summer. Dining passes - Stay away from them. They are not good value. You can only choose limited items 3 or 4 from each restaurant. Very disappointing. Only advantage of dining pass is that you get unlimited drinks - Is it really worth it? My answer is no. Fairly reasonable amusement Park. Some rides were closed for the seasons and some under repair. Overall, an average experience.
Very good experience at La Ronde. Nearly all the rides were open and the lines were reasonable. Monstre, Vampire and Goliath were running really well. Lines for food were fast, but the new process for season pass dining should have been better explained. You need to get a sticker from the old paper ticket center near the main entrance. They then place the RFID sticker on your season pass and they process it directly at the food venue.
Lots of fun. We ordered tickets on line as well as the meal bracelet with unlimited drinks. Kids had a blast. They are 8 and 10.
Waited over 2 hours just get into the park. I realize it’s a long weekend, but having to make a reservation for the day to get into the park, limited hours, there shouldn’t be so many reservations allowed into the park on that day. Disappointing. I don’t mind some wait l, I expect some time to wait, but this is ridiculous. Being from out of town, wanting my kids to experience this, it was a wasted day of our trip. Will not be coming back.
Beautiful amusement park, it is 2:30 from Ottawa and 20 min from Montreal. A good variety of rides and stuff to do for the whole family. Lots of restaurants and food options . It is a bit pricy 40$ for a day pass. The better option is to wait until they do a yearly pass offer and you could get it for 75$. They also do some theses for Halloween and other stuff. It gets crowded and you might wait to get on a ride. Recommend to visit. My pictures are from Halloween
