Lovely sandy, shallow, warm beach with small waves on a windy day. Has 2 play structures, one for little kids, one for older kids, changing stalls, a canteen, nice clean bathrooms and lots of picnic tables. Great place for the kids!

(Translated) Arrived, we are greeted in French, but we are not given a site map and no indication how to get to our site. The sites are grass and are not very level. The RVs + trailers + tent trailers + tents are mixed, I had an RV on my left, a tent trailer in front of me, a seasonal trailer on my right and a tent at an angle. There is no swimming pool or games, but there is a public park next door with children's modules and a sandy beach. Showers / toilets are ok but could use updating (broken tiles / broken shower heads). We charge $ 50 / night with tax and fees for the reservation and we only had one site with 20amps, no sewer no water. There are poles scattered here and there with taps but it is stated that the water does not meet government standards. (Original) Arrivé, on nous accueil en français, mais on ne nous remet pas de plan du site et aucune indication comment se rendre à notre site. Les sites sont en gazon et ne sont pas très à niveau. Les VR+roulottes+tente-roulottes+tentes sont mélangés, j'avais un VR à ma gauche, une tente-roulotte devant moi, une roulotte de saisonnier à ma droite et une tente en biais. Il n'y a pas de piscine ou de jeux, mais il y a un parc publique à côté avec modules pour enfants et plage de sable. Les douches/toilettes sont corrects mais demanderaient d'être rénovés(tuiles brisées/pomme de douche cassées). On charge 50$/nuits avec la taxe et les frais pour la réservation et on n'avait qu'un site avec 20amps, pas d'égout pas d'eau. Il y a des poteaux dispersés ici et là avec des robinets mais il est indiqué que l'eau n'est pas conforme aux normes du gouvernement.

Great park & beach with plenty for kids to do. Thanks to covid restrictions, there was only half of the allowed number of visitors on site so it made for plenty of available beach space. Pricing was very reasonable (7.50$/adult, Kids are free) 2 play structures on site, lots of mature trees for shade, 1 outdoor rinse shower and bathrooms available. I did notice a snack shack but I didn't have a chance to go check it out. A negative was the amount of goose droppings in the park and the grass walkway to the beach but thats nothing they could do about that. Overall, a very nice day was had!

This was our second visit and unfortunately our last. It is low season (end of September) we were looking forward to one last camping weekend with our close friends. At the last minute a water view site #22 became available, but no other sites nearby for our friends. We booked other sites, but upon arrival asked at the office if we could have 2 tent trailers on site #22. They repeatly said it wouldn't be a problem and the site was plenty big enough for 2 campers, they were happy to cancel our existing sites and rebook us together on site #22. Everything was great until our friends arrived and started setting up. We were then approached by a very rude man...we think he is the "owner" who gruffly told us we couldn't have 2 campers on the site and had to leave. We explained how his staff were the ones who said it was okay and cancelled and rebooked us...he basically said too bad...there was a "complaint" from seasonal site that we had 2 campers. He was SO rude and abrupt and didn't try even a little bit to accommodate us or apologize! All the kids and adults were extreemly disappointed and upset :( We will change sites in the morning....because who wants to be around people who ruin families weekends for no reason! This has left us a very bad taste in our mouth and we definitely won't be returning :(

Very nice beach. Well groomed and they are restricting numbers to give people lots of space. Unfortunately not everyone minds their social distancing. The shore had some seaweed, but it's otherwise clean. Some ships pass, but nothing creating large waves. There are two playgrounds for 2-5 and 5-12 years old. Unfortunately that left our 1 year old without anywhere to go. At our 2-5 year playground in Toronto, at least there are steps and a gradual slide for younger ones to try with help. This one had no steps and lots of places for kids to fall off. The slide is super steep as well. Not a big deal but unfortunate if you want a break from them rolling in the sand. There's washrooms as well on site.

Would love to give this place five stars. Most of the camping sites are within 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, some of them come with access to power. All of them come with a fireplace. Bathrooms, showers and rinsing stations are provided, but the water pressure in the showers is really iffy and hard to wash with. Wood for making fires was obtainable during the day until 8-9, at a pretty cheap price (5$). The only downfall aside from the showers was some of the neighbours. Some were great and helped us out, others decided to come on to our lot and cause trouble while we were trying to sleep.

I enjoy swimming st this beach, the water is pretty clear, and refreshing. The sand is pretty clean but does need more cleaning from the bird feces. They have a canteen that is open,for people that want to purchase snacks or some food. You can buy a season pass as well, which is a better deal than paying each time you go.

(Translated) We were in the cabin it was very dirty and no drinking water. We wash the floor 3 times and it was not clean yet and very dusty and dirty mattresses. The beach was full of bird droppings and the field next door full of dog poop was really disappointing. The toilet and bathroom not very inviting either. On the other hand, large grounds when far from the beach. Do not waste your time fishing for more seaweed than fish ... Watch out for the skunk. Hahaha! (Original) Nous étions dans la cabine c’était très sale et pas d’eau potable. Avons laver le plancher 3 fois et c’était pas encore propre en plus très poussiéreux et matelas sales . La plage était pleins de crottes d’oiseaux et le terrain a côté pleins de crottes de chiens c’était vraiment décevant . Les toilettes et salle de bains pas très invitants non plus . Par contre, de grands terrains lorsque loin de la plage . Ne perdez pas votre temps à aller pêcher plus d’algues que de poissons... Attention à la moufette. Hahaha !

It's an ok beach..wasn't very busy when I went, but for the price they charge you to get in now..(over $20 for a car) u think they would fix their sand! It was really rocky and hard to walk on. They have BBQs that u could use..but the seagulls will turn u off pretty quick

Love the beach and the camp site are Awesome. Been camping there for years ... but the last two years I am very dissapointed the shower are gross the bathroom are not cleaned very often I found a sanitary napkin on the floor and all the staff did was lock the stall ... Went to wash my hand and no soap. Cleaning needs to be done more frequently in bathroom. We are still dealing with covid after all.

The worst place ever... I took my family there for camping last summer. People are very racist. We noticed we were different than everyone who was there. And that explains why we had to go through a nightmare!!!!!!it was a rainy day, very heavy rain. My husband and his friend had to take my kids to the washrooms. Accidentally they drove on the edge of the grass!!! So, The supervisor attacked my husband in front of my kids and he called police on us!!! We were out of the camp and nothing happened to the supervisor who bunched my husband!!!

You need to line up at 6:00 am to get in the beach that opens @8:00. Locals are turned away @8:02 because the beach has reached Covid capacity. Management need to respect the locals who supported the beach for years and change their policy on who they allow in. Priority should go to the locals. Disappointed.

Loved It! Clean, well kept. Large beach area. Snack bar, canoe rentals, two descent sized playgrounds for the kids. Many trees to set up under for some shade. The walk from the parking lot to the picnic/beach area is not too far. Bathrooms were very clean at the time and day of our visit. 7$/day / adult. Kids under 12 free. All around a great spot, no complaints.
