Very beautiful park and great location. Beautiful park with a beautiful pond in a peaceful setting. Nice playground for children next to our local library. There is enough parking that you will not need to worry.

Very beautiful secluded park, I stumbled on this place while my dog pulled me there. Serene and shaded spots by the creek. A little place of heaven. If you visit please remember that. (P/U for your dog) and trash if you can.

Its a good place to watch the geese security often scouts the area but there are a lot if homeless which often fight and cause disturbance. I have often seen needles in the playground

Nice pond with fish and ducks. So sad because it looks like a nice pond with a fun looking playground but I would never feel comfortable taking my kids here. Too many people living in the park especially in the warmer summer months. Also I would not walk here alone in the day

Beautiful during the day. Can get a bit heavy in duck poop and occasionally people looking to daytime drink but security usually moves them along. You can see very large fish that may be gold fishes or koi I haven't really looked into it, but they are over a foot long and thick. Good place to take the kids with proper supervision.

I used to take the street car here back in the day it was the BCER. Used to be big Street barns and a Turntable. When BCHydro moved in on BCE. In the 1960's. This Street Car yard was closed I believe. And subdivided. Into Salish park And Salish Mall Development. Very sad. I would have been better to have kept it all intact! As it was a part of BC Early original interurban transit system! I strongly support re activating the BCER from New Westminster to Chilliwack maybe even extend it to Hope bc ! GodBless And Long Live the BCER forever !!

Beautiful park and atmosphere, lovely pond. The crackheads milling about are mostly non aggressive and will only yell slurs at you if you look at them directly in the eye

It's all about #ducks #geese #homeless - yes, they dont bother you - park is well maintained- u can have your lunch on a clean bench , garbage bins are there and a cool nice atmosphere. I will be going there again and again

The lily pads have taken over75% of pond covered in green. No ducks on site, twenty Canada's finest far side on land. Water features look great

Great place to take a walk and if you like ponds with coy fish,turtles, and this time of year (may-june) you get to see all the baby duck and geese!

A pleasant little grassy park with a kid's play area. Trees around the most of the borders provide a buffer to the residential back yards that surround the park. Park runs north-south along a small stream, and provides a shortcut between residential streets of Nootka St on the West side and Somenos Dr to the East. A path also runs north to Guthrie Rd.

Quaint little park sitting between local public Library and a hotel. Has a man made pond at it's center, directly adjacent the hotel. There is a small playground for kids, and nicely maintained grounds. The pond contains koi fish, turtles and is frequented by ducks and other migratory waterfowl. It bears noting that my 3 star rating of this park is based entirely on those that drink and such there. Not a park to stroll at night alone.

Nice quiet park that backs onto some residential property. There is a kids 5 piece playground with a play structure, swing set, kids slide, and turn style. My daughter also liked running around the trails along the creek. Street parking only.
