Bonnie Cunningham

We actually came up the backside, Baby Thom. Shorter but elevation steeper.

Shelly

It's a beautiful little hike, with an amazing view at the end of it. Theres always nature to enjoy and depending on what season it varies. Great for the family, and dog AND horse friendly!!

Lance Topham

Very good trails good workout

Jonathan Funk

Spectacular hike that provides a great pay-off in terms of the view for a reasonable investment in terms of the climb. ^_^

Alistair Jackson

Loved it. Amazing trees, beautiful trails!

Jeremy Schollie

Great Trails. You can either make it a medium length hike or a short hike depending on whether you start at the north side or the south side. Beautiful views for little effort. However watch out for the old guy walking his dog off leash. Ran up to our dog on leash who is a bit dog aggressive and then yelled at us to let his dog go ahead of us…

Noe Chavez

Really nice park!

Craig McMaster

It's a good quick workout if that's what you need, or a nice leisurely stroll if that's all you want.

Della Whitlam

Great view, not an exhausting hike to the top.

Jeff Summers

Great park with lots of places to see the city while getting some great exercise. Bring the water as there is some big inclines.

Neal Singh

Great hike, pretty easy going. Nice views.

Jason Vanden Berg

Beautiful as always. Wonderful Valley views!

Ingrid Chen

Great view. Hidden local secret. Has our house and garbage can. Not crowded like other mountain trails.

Angel Sweet

Great exercise beautiful scenery

Simone Joyce

Great maintained hike, two trails one from promontory which is a little longer to hike to reach the view point or another trail from Ryder lake which is a lot shorter. Perfect view and dog friendly.

geordog

Great hiking trails good view of Chilliwack also good for active kids

Sachin Changade

Great outing with friends. Easy and well maintain trail.

Tammy Simpson

Great hiking spot for some fresh air and exercise. My great nephew had no problem and he's just 5 so it's good for a family hike.

Andy Lai

Amazing hidden gem in chilliwack. Mostly locals that go there. To summit is fairly easy from the short route, about 15-20 if you take your time. Cannot comment on the view since it was full fogs when I went.

Aliya Weening

Mount Thom park is beautiful. It's a short hike (about 20 minutes) to a lookout with two lovely views of Chilliwack. Nice wide trail and an easy climb. Would be great for kids.

rene radomski

Well worth the hike, got to see eagles and hawks hunting for food.

Kelly Marshall

This is a great walk in the park. But please remember you are 2 hours away from the city and you should tell someone where you are going and at least be prepared. No outdoor activity should ever be taken lightly. I will stop once no one gets left behind. Plenty of parking Leash your dog Pick up after your dog Be aware of your surroundings. Take water If you decide to walk om Horse Loop the rules are simple pull over out of the way hold your dog make him it her sit. No sudden movements and be calm and wait til the horse and rider pass you.. NO MATTER WHERE OR WHAT TRAIL YOU THE CYCLIST THE HIKER W/ DOG DO NOT NEVER WILL HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY!! (Not yelling) Take out what you brought in. All trails connect and the look out has a very nice view of Cultas Lake to the left and Fraser River ahead and Chilliwack City. Lovely day when we went. Scattered throughout the trails are benches to sit and look and have a snack. All trails in total are about 1hr return. The longest trail is Kaziert and Promontory your looking at about 1.4km return. Trail assessed at Easy Elevation approx 588m Technical trail no easy flat and well tended to Trail Markers at every corner well laid out There are 3 information boards to give you a map and directions and a bit of of history. Bring water for your dog, there is a creek but in case I would bring water. This is a great walk and can and will encourage kids to become a hiker..

I can see my house from here!

Stephen Fowler

We used the Churchill Parkway approach and lengthened it with a couple of detours along Promontory. It was as spectacular as it was cold---brrrr; no ravens or eagles soaring on this day.

Mia A

I saw an owl there. It's so peaceful

G Gill

Great short hike with high elevation. Awesome view of the valley and can see cultas lake.

Ferenc Ceglédi

Nice park with moss covered woods and a breathtaking view to the valley and the city of Chilliwack. The trails in the park are uphill towards. It gives you moderate hard walks, that is just enough to get sweat. Usually not so crowded, mainly visited by people who live around. The trails are dog friendly and to a certain point, horse friendly, but horse riding is not happening so often here.

Joshua Pedersen

It's a beautiful, tranquil spot. Good for a short hike. Take a book as it's an amazing view on a clear sunny day.

Chris B

Beautiful hike. I did the trail that started on Sylvan drive. Trail is well maintained, and the view from the top is really nice of the Fraser valley. It is a fairly steep hike if you’re starting on Sylvan drive. Highly recommend! :)

Arlana Powell

A good little jaunt.

io

Our family loves this place. Even the dog. We've spent many weekends here, hiking, cycling, and camping. Highly recommended. We see lots of animals on our hikes. Hoping the floods haven't ruined too much.

Cheryl MacKinnon

It's an uphill walk, but so worth the view!

Lynne Johnson Mallari

Great hike with an amazing view. Quite highly trafficked and we went on a weekday. Be sure that you drive to the trailhead and not the park if you want to hike.

Sharn Sangha

Nice hike and great view point.

J Frölich

Quick trail that delivers in views over chilliwack and cultus

West Coast Mini Dachshunds

Beautiful little hike with horse loop. Variable terrain to get your blood pumping. Lots of different mushrooms. Great walk for the family, fun for the kids.

Keith Rudance

Don't want to be descriptive. The place is getting crowded as it is

S

What a view

Nathan Doubroff

Incredible. Worth the fairly easy 30 min trek with the kids.
