What an awesome place this is. So beautiful and so quiet. Such a great place to enjoy the nature. This place doesn't allow fishing or boating. It just offers pure nature.

Lauren Wozniak

Always a nice walk. Trails are well maintained and bathrooms are easily accessible. There's lots of parking and beautiful mountain view right from the lot. Good for all skill levels. Dogs are not welcome as this is a nature preserve.

Shane Trapp

Great spot for a picnic. Short easy hike is perfect for kids.

Marta Borowska

Gorgeous wetlands area with some trails and woodpeckers! Such a nice view and there is a lot of parking. Outhouses/bathrooms available. There is a place we saw people fishing on one of the bridges. Nice walkways through the wetlands. Definitely worth a visit. Very quaint.

Holly Becker

Great wetlands for birdwatching, good diversity of habitats with trees, marsh and some open freshwater. Bird viewing platform is great for seeing the whole marsh, but has stairs up to it (not accessible) and no seating

Jim Bassett

A good place to take the family for a picnic.

Shekinah J

A beautiful hidden spot. Very scenic. A photographer's paradise.

Sukhveer Grewal

Great place to go on a long walk

Keoi “Deb” Clements

Wonderful fall day for a picnic at the wetland. Loved watching the birds; widgeon, bald eagle, trumpeter swan, coots, merganser plus many more. I am disabled and it is wonderful to be able to park in the parking lot right beside the picnic tables right beside the wetland so you can see a lot without walking very much.

Douglas Sp

Great place for the family and bird watching. Hiking trails

Della Whitlam

Lovely and peaceful area.

Kevin Traas

A great place for a walk with the whole family. Several trails of varying length and sights to see.

Johnny B

What a great place for a walk with the family! Birds, scenery, fish in the water. Truly a hidden gem.

Melissa Herfst

This is one of my favorite local parks, visiting here on a weekly basis. Well kept trails and walkways. Clean and spacious outdoor toilets. Very large parking area. The lookout gives a beautiful 360° view of the wetlands, and the choice between two other trails boasts beautiful scenery and plethora of plants and animals. It is not a pet friendly park however.

Michelle Knowles

Beautiful location with plenty of birds to see as well as trees & water & mountains. A very peaceful spot.

Neely McGovern

Quiet, beautiful and close to home. Another quick place to gk to get away :)

Joane

Love this park. Great quiet,,peaceful place to be present with nature. A great place to be still enjoying nature at its best.

Ryan Hoft

Beautiful location. If it's just a picnic lunch you are seeking and a walk you hit the nail on the head. It's a pity you cannot bring your dog along. In fact don't being the dog along as all it will do is sit in the car. Too hot in summer. And perhaps too cold in winter for them. Great place to see birds if you are into that. Bring binoculars

Anthony Vandergugten

Excellent place to relax in nature.

James McColl

Great place for taking little explorers for a day of fun! Plenty of different trails and walks to suit anyone and some shady spots for those hot days!

Scott Farrell

The wetlands look great against the backdrop of snow capped mountains in the springtime. There are three small trails to enjoy, some picnic tables and benches to sit down on and basic washroom facilities.

Sean Zhang

Beautiful, quiet place to spend a weekend day with your family or just enjoy by yourself. The floating walkway and viewing platform are located at right spot. If time is right, you will get some breath taking photos. Love it!

Charles

Beautiful spot for a picnic with friends and family. There’s also a cool floating bridge that you can go on to enjoy nature. We saw lots of geese, and a red tailed hawk. Also enjoy the snow capped mountains in the background

Don Creighton

Great place. Very few people. Lots of birds :) my family will be back

Sony Kurian

A hidden gem. So close to Hwy 1 but never knew. The fall colors were fantastic...and you could see literally"snow capped" mountain

Sig Zulu

Beautiful place.

D R Tam

Quite but watch out for black ????

Carlos Santana

Great place to take a walk and to enjoy the nature around you.

Majid Kazimi

Very nice for walk and listen to the nature. It would be better if an organization take care of it and upgrade the lake quality.

Ken Wuschke

It's a nice place for watching birds. The wetlands are set amongst an old marl mine location in a landslide. A good place to marvel at moving mountains.

Joanne Antoniak

A beautiful wetland park (near bridal veil falls). Lovely floating bridge and well mapped and maintained trails to explore. Picnic area near the parking lot. Great spot.

Haytham Fareh

Its a small but nice beautiful park.

Harold Mosher (Howie)

Nice walking trails. Not overly hilly.

Adrianna Byers

Beautiful scenery with the wetland and mountains all around... if I lived close by, this would be my secret place to hide when I need to be alone. So relaxing to be immersed in the natural beauty of creation - this place is better than any massage! The lookout is a great place to stop for photos or just to enjoy the view, with Bridal Veil Falls visible straight ahead. Trails are gravel and well kept so it's not a difficult hike. (Perhaps I should add that my opinion may be a little biased - I find any place with mountains spectacular since I'm from Ontario and don't see them every day :)

Hanne Gidora

Nice peaceful winter walk. The trails are suitable for anybody. With the exception of a few branches in good shape.

Misty Scott

Love it there. It's a great walk and nice trails. Well kept and clean.

Robert Wilson

Pleasant nature walk. Easy access, large parking lot. Level pathways, floating boardwalk over part of the marsh with a platform overlooking the wetlands at the end

Brian Wilber

Amazing family fun.

Mundanus

A tranquil wetland. Good for taking photos of the lovely birds resting on the lake.

Darren Dyck

Not a lot of trails here but beautiful, peaceful views of the wetlands and waterfoul.

Leyla Hsy

It's technically a beautiful trail with quite a few picnic tables and a big shelter which are not adjacent to the water. There's not actually water bank that you can sit up and watch the lake. There is several bridges that you pass through the water and see gooses and Lili pads. No playground for children. There is a cow barn at the entrance which is very interesting

Lynn van der vlist

Beautiful views , easy walk! Thoroughly enjoyed this park!

Christian Van Herk

Beautiful, peaceful spot for a stroll through nature, birdwatching or a picnic

Stunning place! Kids loved it. Blooming yellow irises along the water. You can spot frogs, turtles, snakes, fish , eagles! Walk along trails and floating bridges to lookout spots. I highly recommend bringing binoculars if you have them No dogs , Kayaks or fishing.

Dale Floer

An excellent spot to picnic or enjoy nature. An excellent birding spot, but also a good place to see other animals.

Darrell

Nice place to sit back, and enjoy watching the various birds. For example Eagles, Loons, etc., Canada Geese and their Gosling's walking by the parking lot in front of us. Need to start bringing bird seeds.

Kym Harris

Beautiful place ... floating dock is pretty... wish there was more of a walk around the water. But still a nice walk

william winslowhansen

Amazing place for a picnic . Huge beautiful lake casual trail's fantastic wildlife.

Christina Peterson

Love the view and being close to nature. Very peace and quite to talk to people.

Gordon Mcmillan

Was awesome park loved the floating walk way to almost middle of the lake

Chandrella A

Nice walk early spring. Mid summer and late the mosquitoes come out near the walk way and your eaten alive.

Keith! Morden

A beautiful location that fewer and fewer people seem to know about. Tucked away in popkum, birds flock here and the lookout is a prime place to go bird watching. Look at the waterfall and see the natural world

Erin C

Great park with exceptional views and groomed walking trails. Picnic area is well shaded and washrooms were clean.

Terry May

I've only been here on weekdays when it is very quiet. The surroundings are amazing with nearby mountains and the large, shallow lake hosting different waterfowl. You can relax in the shaded picnic area or take a stroll along the different trails. Don't forget your camera!
