Such a piece of heaven. It can be a nice seren walk or hike, and adventure for the kids, biking, running or just enjoying the vibes. Beautiful place to discover and enjoy

Josh Robinson

As a Chatham native, this was a little bit of forest that we used to play in as kids. Now that is a park, it's a bit better tended to and makes the North side of Chatham a bit more livable. A very welcome natural expanse.

It is a great place to go get some fresh air with the family, a quiet place to see beautiful landscapes or inspire the nature enthusiast with a variety of local animals. Nesstled in the convenience of the city of Chatham, there are clean paths and a green oasis, allowing all ages to appreciate and gain joy from the nature, that surrounds you. Whether it is a leisurely stroll, a bike ride, family walk, or heart accelerating exercise, there is something for everyone.

Such a beautiful nature scene. Over the years it's only gotten more green, theres so many paths to walk through I love it. On a hot day going through there makes it feel like a cool day, so much shade. Perfect for walks, even walking your dogs, getting photos taken, even just relaxing. The downside is that it does have lots of mosquitos so be sure to bring some spray if you're staying for sometime. Theres also two parks that latch off the main paths if you want to bring your kids

We accidentally found this tranquil little forest. I remember this place when it was called Paxton's Bush back in the 80's where we would dirt bike/bxm. Those trips were usually cut short by residents calling the police

Nice small forested area in Chatham. It has a couple trails that loop around the interior of the woods near the creek. There are several benches throughout the area and a bridge crossing the creek. Very relaxing area, great place for a walk.
