(Translated) The boardwalk would need some repair. But the main attraction, in my opinion, is a walk along the Maisonnette dune.

(Translated) Always very pleasant to go to Maisonnette !! (Original) Toujours très agréable d'aller à Maisonnette!!

(Translated) The Maisonnette park which is affectionately called "the dune" for its immense expanse of sand at low tide. You can fish there for cockles, clams (in season), razors (and yes, they are eaten, raw, directly on the dune ...) or simply walk or sunbathe. Just happiness ... Watch for full moons, low tide is the lowest and it is around midday that it is at its low point. Do not miss !!

(Translated) Surprise to see this village with lots of small houses, at the end of a road of several km and discover at the end of the village a park by the sea with views, beach, tables etc ... there has a restaurant and a small campsite directly by the sea.

(Translated) A place to visit: for its immense dunes at low tide, for cockle or knife fishing, for clam fishing in season, for striped bass fishing, to walk on the beach ...

Beach is very ugly, smelly, and unfit for swimming, contrary to page 108 of New Brunswick's official 2017 guide. Copious amounts of seaweed span the entire stretch of the dune. Facilities are okay but there is no shower, there was no soap in either of the bathrooms, and one of the toilets was beyond clogged. The boardwalk is fubar for a section and is still in need of repair. Spot is apparently great for clamming as we crossed at least 5 individuals doing so, and probably great for rock crab because their carcasses were all over the place... if you dare face the sea monsters underfoot.
