Not a whole lot to see, and it's mostly taken over by the modern port. Lots of functional stuff with a couple historical buildings dotted about. There was a huge cruise ship in while I was there as well.

They made a beautiful, cozy and nice place for tourists to visit. Some furniture to lie down and watch the view of the st. Laurence river with boats. Can be busy on weekends with lots of people. Can be difficult to find a place at a terrasse for your meal ,it would be recommended to make reservations in advance. Hotel rooms might be overpriced specially in summer. Planning is key. The Old Port area takes half a day at least to visit. Can be difficult to find parking. Worth taking the ferry to Lévis for the views of the Quebec City skyline. Also a trip to Montmorency Falls if you have time and a vehicle available.

I visited Quebec city when I was 14 and had the time of my life seeing all the historical buildings in old town and the enormous Château Frontenac we rode on the venicular up the very steep and really high hillside and had an unbelievable view, it's a city with alot of French history a must see with so much to enjoy

Beautiful waterfront and old city views! This might not look like a lot of space on Google Maps but this place is expansive and involves a LOT of walking to fully explore, so wear comfortable walking shoes. There are several paid parking lots in the vicinity. Public restrooms, however, are few and far between, and your best bet is a restaurant, so maybe plan your restroom break for when you get hungry. Also note that the old city and its main attractions are on top of a hill. You don't have to hike up to get there - there is a funicular at the base that you will take you there for a small fee.
