The captain really has an eagle's eye to see the wildlife. Sometimes I couldn't see anything but he has an eye and a nose to find wild animals. C'est un grand photographe qui vous partagera j'en suis sur ses plus beaux clichés. Nous avons vu 7 orques, 2baleines, une trentaine d'aigles en train de pécher, des lions de mer et un saumon. We went on a four hour zodiac a couple of days ago and it was far beyond my expectations. I have lived in the area for years but hadn't had the chance to see humpbacks up close or to see sea lions tossing salmon in the air. Our wonderful guide Stan navigated a lumpy return trip with care. Not once did I feel unsure of his skills as he is very competent.

Fantastic! We had such an amazing time with Eagle Eye Adventures - saw a baby humpback breaching, four black bears and lots of other wildlife. We were even lucky enough to have a humpback pop up about 20 feet from our boat (came out of nowhere)! Awesome trip, would highly recommend.

Dolphins swam next to and under the boat. Sea eagles were fishing with 10 numbers at the same time. Seals swam by. And last but not least the humpback whales that occasionally jumped above the water, that was wonderful to see and how lucky we were. If you come near Campbell River you should not miss this. Then try to book the day trip from 6 to 7 hours in advance. You also get a packed lunch which you will eat together on an island. A day to never forget. (Original) Hele mooie dagtocht gevaren met eagle eye adventures waar we bijzonder veel van hebben genoten. Dit was een dag om nooit te vergeten. We zagen een grizzlybeer.een bruine beer met haar jong. Dolfijnen zwommen naast en onder de boot door. Zeearenden waren aan het vissen met 10 tallen te gelijk. Zeehondjes zwommen langs. En als laatste de bultrug walvissen die af en toe gedeeltelijk boven water sprongen dat was schitterend om te zien en hoeveel geluk we hadden. Als je in de buurt van Campbell River komt mag je dit eigenlijk niet missen. Probeer dan van te voren de dagtocht te boeken van 6 a 7 uur. Je krijgt er ook een lunchpakket bij wat je dan gezamenlijk op een eiland gaat nuttigen. Een dag om nooit te vergeten.

Loved it! We went for a half day of whale watching from Campbell River, BC. It was a smoky and cool morning but our knowledgeable guide found humpback whales and then orcas. We stopped at a quaint little place called Refuge Cove and took a break and had a bite to eat. It was a worthwhile morning on the water!

Amazing day out. The guide was so passionate about the wildlife and knew everything there was too know. Saw whales and dolphins and grizzly bear (although sadly didn't get a photo) Trip of a lifetime to see the Grizzly bears in their natural habitat. Would love to come back and do this trip again.

Happy times. We planned a daytrip for zodiac yet due to the foggy & rainy weather conditions the staff changed it to a closed boat: perfect & safe choice???? The closed boat is great cause you can walk around if you like and as you wish & can also walk outside around the boat. Great tour! Very well organised and the warmth jumpsuit did keep us quite warm (plus they provide a lot of additional clothing like gloves). We spotted a humpback whale and many sea lions and seals! I would definitely go on a tour with them again.

(Translated) beforehand we thought we would step into a zodiac. dressed and adjusted to this. unfortunately, just before boarding it turned out that we were planned in a closed boat .. (afterwards zodiac turned out to be full) that is a completely different experience .. and not what we would choose. there were more small attention points. otherwise just company.safe.and a lot of knowledge .. pricey .. (but those are most) so make sure you get what you expect beforehand. and I don't mean the wildlife ..;) (Original) vooraf dachten we in een zodiak te stappen. hierop gekleed en ingesteld. helaas bleek vlak voor instappen dat we in een dichte boot waren gepland.. (achteraf bleek zodiak al vol ) dat is toch een heel andere beleving.. en niet waar wij voor zouden kiezen. zo waren er meer kleine aandacht puntjes. voor de rest net bedrijf.veilig.en veel kennis.. wel prijzig..(maar dat zijn de meeste ) controleer dus vooraf goed dat je krijgt wat je verwacht.. en daarbij bedoel ik niet het wildlife..;)

They really make a difference to the way they treat customers. I love this company, and especially the way they care for each individual customer and taking care of their environment. They (the guides) also have a lot of experience and knowledge about all the animals living around, their habitat and their behaviour which makes their tours always very interesting. We've made 2 tours: the wildlife and a day of whale watching. I recommend the day of whale watching because the wildlife tour is too short to see a lot of wildlife. It's unpredictable and if the boat has to navigate too far to find wildlife, you lose a lot of time. Keep up the good work!

My boyfriend went for a mini-vacation to Campbell River, after I purchased vouchers for this tour off of Groupon. I spoke to them several times on the phone and twice via email and they were so professional and friendly. Captain Andy was funny, personable and fabulous. We met some great people who were also on the boat with us and enjoyed seeing sea lions, "Humpies", Orcas and some dolphins. It wasn't rushed. There were snacks and there was an adorable 2 year old on board. Apparently their youngest passenger yet and she had to be changed and they were so accommodating. We found the whole experience to be exhilarating and we are contemplating doing one of their other tours in the future. I am bigger and was glad they had the option of the life vest vs. the suit. It was a hot day so I just went with the vest. Seating was comfortable and everything went smoothly. Thank you for truly making our day!

What a day, we saw two humpbacks and roughly 20 Orcas. We even saw a pack of three Orcas circling, spy hopping and hunting a seal. Being out in the open on fast, comfortable zodiac boats was a blast. Can't count the number of eagles we saw. The boat skipper Josh, was great. He really knew his way around the many islands, and we could tell he was having as much fun as we were. The dock staff were also very helpful and friendly.

We had an awesome experience with Eagle Eye Adventures. We saw about 16 humpback whales which was phenomenal. The boat ride itself was very cool to go around and see different islands and get a different perspective of the area. I Would recommend Eagle eye to anyone looking to go on a whale watching tour.

The staff were very accommodating with weather changes. Very nice staff. Our driver did his best to allow us to see humpbacks and orcas as well as some birds and seals and sea lions. The fact they are a world certified responsible whale watching company means a lot to me.

Very cool experience. Saw 4 bears, 5 humpbacks and amazing views. Our captain was very good. Awesome value for the money. Still unfortunately didn't get to check the orca off the bucket list but this company will do whatever they can to get you to see whales so i highly recommend it.

Didnt see very much so they had heard there were orcas out from Oyster River so they sent us back out again even tho we were actually done. Thats customer service!!!! Saw 4 orcas up close and personal. One came right up to the boat and dove under us. Awesome day. Thanks again Jos

A really nice day out. Ruben, our guide was very good at communicating what the day was going to be like, what we were going to do next, sharing information on the wildlife and area, etc... The priority to create a great experience and day out, regardless of what the wildlife wanted to do, was very much appreciated. We had a very fortunate day seeing orca's first thing in the morning and at the end of the day, and so much more in between. A wonderful day on the water. The other staff and owner were also very kind, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience. I have been sharing my experience for the fast few weeks, and look forward to going out again with Eagle Eye Adventures.

Did the 6 hour tour, saw orcas and humpback whales. Was a beautiful day! I didn’t give the experience 5 stars because the lunch meal was below average.. I’m a vegetarian and they gave me a super super cheap salad that had barely anything to it (considering you pay lots of $$ for the tour) .. we also wished the guide would have given us a bit more information on the whales without us having to ask 10000 questions.

We had a fantastic guide. We got to see lots of local wildlife including white striped dolphins who kept pace playing in our zodiacs waves. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and the tour was more geared towards conservation and education which was very appreciated. He made sure we were very respectful of the animals we seen (huge pod of orca, family of sea lions and harbour seals, bald eagle enjoying lunch, porpoise, glimpse of a humpback whale and our favorite the dolphins) and was very knowledgeable about all of them. We learned a lot! We got to stop for a delicious lunch at the old post office general store which had its own unique rich history. Which you can learn about on the island.There were a few bears in the area which we didn't get to see but they also offer grizzly tours so we will be back for that.

We had 2 trips with Eagle Eye Adventures (Wildlife and Whale) and enjoyed both of them very much. The captains were fun, caring (asked several times if we were OK), skilled (sailed perfect over the rough waters) and had a lot of details to tell. We viewed some Whales, Bald Eagles, Porpoise Dolpins and Sealions on our way. The surroundings are amazingly beautiful and we loved the 'Whirpool swirls' they showed us. Especially when the Bald Eagles were hunting there. So cool! The warm and waterproof suits that were lend to us were great. Altough the wind was sometimes really cold we hardly noticed it. The only small improvement we can think of... there was no difference between the 'wildlife' and 'whale' tour except for the length (4 hrs vs. 6 hrs) and lunch (very well prepared). But still, we enjoyed both trips very much!
