We booked the grizzly experience, which was truly wonderful. The experience itself was hugely overwhelming meeting these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat, allowing numerous great photo opportunities. The trip was very well organised with a high regard for safety. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

We bought a grizzly bear tour that was incredibly cancelled, forty minutes later the time it was supposed to start. After we spent so much money in taking a flight from Vancouver, rent a car and book a hotel in Campbell River, the captain just said that they had a technical issue with the boat and they would refund our money or reschedule for 2 days later. Most of tourist were so upset, but... Come on! We came from Argentina and the tour was very expensive to just apologize. I'm still surprised with the lack of consideration of this company. I honestly didn't expect such level of un professionalism and irresponsability. There's no second boat? Couldn't this issue be anticipated to the tourists some time before? Well... I cannot recommend this company.

I came to Victoria in hopes of seeing Orcas. What a treat not only did the Orcas make a catch but breached shortly afterwards. Michelle was our guide and she took incredible pictures which she emailed to everyone on board. What an experience I will always treasure. Whale / wildlife watching tour combined with an overnight stay on Quadra Island! We had a very enjoyable / relaxing tour. Our Captain was the world famous veteran whale watching skipper “Capt. Wayne”. He is professional, personable and very knowledgeable. Our naturalist and hostess was Heike. She gave lots of wildlife information and shared local knowledge and ensured everyone felt included. The vessel (Tenacious III) is roomy, comfortable and is kept immaculately clean. It was a great trip and we would definitely do it again and/or take other tours with Discovery Marine Safaris.

This is a great company with a real commitment to client satisfaction and safety. I went on two grizzly tours (Sep 21 and 22) and the viewing was spectacular. As a wildlife photographer, you always want to capture an animal in its environment. This tour is perfect for that. The guides (thanks wild Bill and Jesse) are extremely knowledgable and very passionate about Grizzly conservation. Captain Ted is a real asset to the company and is very accomdating. If you're a wildlife photographer and can't make it to Alaska, this may be the next best thing. A big thank you to all for making my trips so memorable.

A superb afternoon and evening on June 25th with Capt. John and marine biologist Amber. We went straight north to two humpbacks and spent about an hour with them! After that we worked our way down Quadra Island and saw Bald eagles on the shore and then went out to Mitlenatch Island and saw Stella sea lions, Harbour seals, and numerous sea birds. The trip back via Cortes Island in the evening sunshine was fantastic.The crew were very knowledgable, approachable and friendly. I would recommend them very highly indeed.

We went on the Romantic overnight get away package on June 21 2021. The package included an overnight stay at the Heriot Bay Inn on Quadra Island with the wild life sight seeing tour the following morning. What a phenomenal experience. Our hosts were absolutely delightful, friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel so welcomed. We saw a lots of wild life including Steller sea lions and Humpback Whales. Everything was on time, crew was friendly and knowledgeable. Prefer the boat they have rather than a zodiac so you can walk around. Saw amazing whales and various animals. Really fascinating trip! I would recommend everyone to do this. Trip was from 1 pm to 5 pm so it can be a long day, especially for young kids. You can bring drinks and food with you (nothing is served). Have recommended to friends to do book with them!

This was an amazing experience. Crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend renting the binoculars for the experience. They were very good at spotting the animals in the wild. Will definitely go again.

This was such an amazing day and a memorable experience! The staff know their job, we've seen orcas, whales, sea lions, eagles, deer and most importantly, grizzly bears! The boat is comfortable and you can stay inside or outside, the guides are nice and chatty, the sights - breathtaking! We've had some snacks, water, hot beverages, fruit and something more nutricious in the afternoon. I can recommend it with all my heart!

We did this tour yesterday and saw 9 bears. There was hardly a moment of time when we didn't have a bear in site during our time out viewing. The orcas on the way out were forgotten once I saw my first bear. Just amazing. A must do tour.

Really happy with our trip! The staff was very accommodating with scheduling, and the boat is very comfortable with a bathroom and a heated indoor area. The crew was great, too. Saw lots of bears (and some whales as a bonus) and our hosts in Orford Bay were outstanding. Excellent and interesting trip and I highly recommend booking with Discovery Marine Safaris!
