Excellent walking/ jogging trails, stroller friendly. Also includes bike trails, I've seen dogs & horses on the trails. Lots of people walk their dogs off leash here. It can be overwhelming to have so many approach your own leashed dogs.

A natural Paradise right on the city. It is so quiet. Usually feels like you have the place to yourself. Not all the smaller trails are marked so can be easy to become turned a around if you leave the marked trails. If you do, just keep walking.... You will soon find a main trail.

Eddy Wallace

Good dog friendly wide walking paths.

James Traynor

Had a relaxing day at the beach.

Jaron Piercy

Good biking trails. Not a huge amount of variety in trail difficulty but very good for a nice walk or bike. It is really great to be able to go right across Campbell River with this trail system basically and with the other trails it connects with.

Russell James

Awesome walking and biking paths for almost every level fitness.

Isen Pellegrin

Just the right amount of slugs, and more dogs than necessary to smile at.

One of the best little forest spots in the Riv! By bike or foot it never disappoints.

The trails are lovely and the park is large enough that it rarely feels crowded. Nice balance between wide and skinny trails. We walk our cat here often and he loves it.

Spacie Stacie

Grew up in this rainforest

Sé Paterson

Love the trails here. They're nice and wide, and well maintained so kids can ride their bikes on the main paths easily. There are multiple more advanced bike trails to choose from as well. Lots of happy dogs around and it's always entertaining for my baby when we go. One downside is that you need to stay away from the edge of the trails as some people are not courteous enough to clean up after their dogs. Other than that, be bear aware and keep yourselves safe and it's a lovely stroll through the woods!

Gordon Jones

Another great walking trail

Brad R

Great got running or biking. People are polite and give way to others

Kathryn Taylor

Gorgeous trails for bike and feet and even horses. Steams, forest and meadows. Short to long hike lengths for anyone. Major trails better groomed than side trails but I like that. Saw eagles, hummingbirds and Ravens!

Scott Weiner

Such a beautiful place, walking, biking, great for kids, dogs bikes and fresh air!

Janah Earle

A beautiful trail system in the woods. Not too secluded, always someone else on the trails.

Linda Reinhart

the main trails are really nice if you have a dog because they're fairly straight and you can see a long ways as to who is coming towards you. The off trails are super super nice really interesting little bit Hailey up and down... I did see a little snake on one of the trails though

Jeremy Hannaford

Love this park. The fact it's just so close to the village and the trails are so easy and accessible make this one of the best park trails I've ever been on. It also makes for some fantastic photography!

matthew packard

Great place to walk or ride.

Susan Demill

Lots of birds, flowers, and beautiful mossy trees.

Melvin Antoine

Danger trees are being dealt with within the park. March 31st is expected completion date.

Matt Broadfoot

People need to put their dogs on a leash.... the question, "is your dog friendly?" Is not a reasonable replacement for doing what you're supposed to.

Rob Sander

Place to go if you like walking

Gerald Cunnington

Awesome place to ride the mountain bike and explore the area

Daryl & Janie Brown

Beautiful forest trails right in town.

Anne Chorneyko

These are beautiful, in town recreational trails. Five main entrances to these trails, three have parking lots. Two entrances have gates that get locked at night - if you are parked in the parking lot - you'll have to leave your car there overnight. Some trails are actually wide dirt &/or gravel roads, easy level walking, somewhat groomed & maintained. Other trails are probably more suitable for hikers or riders . Horseback riders , mountain bikers, runners, folk's walking their dog's, all share these trails/roads - be considerate of others. Trails are named (eg Beaver Fever; Pony Trail, Connector, Huckleberry, etc.). Plus many trails have name markers & even maps at the trail head. Creeks & streams here often dry up during the summer months, maybe have water at your vehicle for your dog(s) and/or horse(s). Though it is in town trails, wildlife encounters do happen. Cougars & bears are often spotted in these woods, check the map boards at the park entrances for recent notifications. I've encountered more bears(including a mother w cubs) & cougars here, then in remote wilderness areas. Please be aware & alert to your surroundings. NO bathrooms available in this park. Carry your garbage out - some entrances have garbage cans. NO campfires, camping or picnic tables in this park.

Robert Davidson

Fabulous walking trail...wide trails...well groomed ...clean...everyone was friendly...can be turned into a 16 km round trip...love it

Dean Stewart

A great place to go for a walk, bike ride, jog or ride a horse.

Deb W

Beautiful trail system right in the heart of town. Great place to take the dog

Jack Slater

Great place to walk with your family and pets. Be prepared for dogs! Off leash is allowed, so are bikes, so please dog owners, keep your dogs under control! All in all, a wonderful area for Campbell River!

Ramona Breedveld

Why 5*****? It is a land with full of hope and brighter opportunities. Tall and wide. The aroma of fresh wind that shakes every single trees round in four corners of the ground. I hope you get to see more of it such as in "Black Creek" where part of my families used to lived.

Diana Bell

Great walk. No rain so far but still some muddy spots.

L Fraser

Decent walks but be aware there are no washroom or outhouse facilities anywhere.

Ken Hirst

Great place to take your dog

Floyd Wilson

Awesome place to go for a walk/jog bike, walk your dog

Daniel Walden

I've walked this trail dozens of times and will walk it dozens more. No beavers, no lodge and that's the way we like it! 5/5 tell your mother.

Thomas Hartz

A perfect pocket of majestic wilderness to appreciate during your daily constitution.

Mike Hoffman

Wonderful area to unwind and take in some nature

Lana Thompson

Great place to walk, sheltered from wind and Sun. Family friendly, dog friendly, wheelchair accessible paths.

Starah H

I love that there is beautiful forest trails right in the middle of town. You can choose a short trail or do a long one. There is maps around of some of the trails but not all. It can be easy to get turned around in the web of trails so be aware of that. Great place to take the dog for a walk.

Karia weed

Various trails some large some small some mainly for bikes. We took a double stroller with four kids in it down one of the main trails and it was a great experience. Well maintained trails, in a beautiful forested area. I would highly recommend it to anyone willing to give it a try.

Sarah

Couldn't find any beaver dams...very disappointing. Nice trails though.

Frank Mest

Nice walk

Alberta Proud

Can't get enough of this little piece of paradise.
