I go here for the bike trails and they are pretty good. Could be better if a cycling club were to organize the trails. What's a real bonus is that you can ride the trails when they are wet....they are real tough wet but no one will freak out when you do.

So many options. Hiking, biking and horseback riding. Many trails have been developed over the years. Ranging from mild to slightly wild. Should be something for everyone. A largish parking area allows for most people to safely park off the road and enjoy their pastime of choice. Be considerate and try not to block others when leaving your vehicle. Being a friendly neighbor also applies to garbage and dog walkers. Pack it in... pack it out. There are a few garbage cans at the entrances, unfortunately they are rarely emptied. Be prepared to carry your remnants home. Dogs are allowed on leash. I have spoken with many off leash owners here and other shared trails and most are reasonably considerate. Unfortunately there are those who... choose to ignore the clearly marked signs. Anyone with a fear of dogs, be aware. Late afternoon and evening are the busiest times. Plan accordingly. Great mountain biking trails. A good mix of technical and XC with some good tech climbs. Also seems to handle moisture well compared to other trails, being one of the first to dry. Would recommend!

A beautiful nature spot to hike and ride (bikes or horses) with the ponds for swimming. Lots of off leash dogs, which can be problematic for some. Most people are very good at picking up their waste and the ponds are sparkling. We go often!

Great trails. Sometimes dog owners allow messes to be left. And remember "poop and scoop" applies to horses too - please don't bring an animal if you won't clean up after it.

Some rough patches for sure and the main trail isn't really marked separate from all the off shoots but if you're looking to explore a bit it's nice. Definitely good for biking especially the side trails, smaller loops are good for quick walks. Dogs need to be on leash and some of the rockier parts probably aren't great for small dogs but nothing too rough for a relaxing walk.

There's no clear trail, I meant it is a conservation area but I don't see why we can't add a bench haha I like it, very calming, but just nice to take a walk in quick. I wish there was more, I think people fish. It's probably better for some than for others.

Biking and hiking trails through mixed forest and some open grasslands. Trails are not very well marked, but are abundant and hard to really get lost on. There are some lakes and ponds. In summer some areas have lots of mosquitoes. The more you go in the less busy and more mountain bike focused it gets.

A nice little conservation area to go biking, hiking or to walk the dog. There are a lot of bike paths that criss-cross with the main path. It would be a huge benefit if the main trail was properly marked for those that don't know the park too well.

Extensive trail Network for mountain biking, horseback riding, and dog walking. Trails are not marked and are bi-directional so care must be taken, especially when mountain biking. GPS navigation is recommended as it is easy to get lost.

I bike here a few times a week, the trails have something for everyone, there's decent descents and really nice inclines, if you're more into flows you'll find plenty. There's some descent berm sections in the back too. Definitely one of the better trails in the area.

Attended the owl prowl. It was actually pretty cool. The only owls we saw were the ones they brought but we did hike a few km in snow crunching and scaring the ones we were trying to see like an angry mob. Hahaha. The presenters were very informed. It was good for all ages. Even if you think you know a lot about owls. You will likely learn something here.

Nice place for a walk, or a bike ride. Trails are leisurely on foot and beginner to medium difficulty on your bike. The lakes and ponds are nice features from what may have been an old quarry. The whole experience would be better without the constant drone of the 401 roaring though the trees. The noise is constant on this parcel of land whose north border abuts the busiest highway in the world.

Says no off leash dogs, but we exclusively only saw people with their dogs off leash. Apparently none of them pick up after their dogs either, because the place is littered with dog waste. Maybe fine if you're on bike but I wouldn't recommend it at all

This is a great set of trails for walking, and even better for mountain biking from what I could see. lots of variety, flat, hills, nice Bush walks and two small lakes. I would have given 5 stars but the noise down by the 401 is very loud. We were there mid week in the afternoon and you actually had to raise your voice to be heard !

It is very tranquil. There are 2 shallow ponds that kids and dogs can play in. There is the main trail and some smaller trails for cyclists. It's great. Cyclists get their fast workouts in without being hampered by pedestrians. Families get the more leisurely pace of the main trail. It's win-win. I didn't see any portopotties so be prepared.

People walk their dogs off leash even though there are signs against. There are baggies of dog poo on the ground, attached to signs and on ground. Would be better if people cared more. Also, wear spray as there are ticks present.

Trail quality is average for MB. Some good flowy sections, some rooty challenging sections that I find are too long and turn the ride into a slog. Difficult to get any flow going. If you like slow and technical then the red trails may be your thing. Hardwood has some excellent sections but it's over just as you start enjoying it. Some complain about the lack of signage but this adds to the intrigue for me. Bring a copy of the trail map and you won't get lost unless your sense of direction is horrible. Drive the extra 30 mins to Guelph Lake or Hydrocut for a better MB experience if you like faster flowier trails.

Some great trails here for mountain biking. Some trails have very technical sections and there are a few steep climbs. Would not recommend Puslinsch for beginner riders. The only negative is that the trails are not well marked. Although, I did see some white arrows painted on trees to indicate direction of flow, I saw many riders riding the trails in the wrong direction. Can't really blame them though as the trail marking are quite poor.

It's really unfortunate that so many dog-owners treat this area like an off-leash dog park. The signage is clear that dogs must be on leashes. We brought our new rescue dog here; he's good with other dogs, as long as they're on equal ground. Well obviously we aren't going to let him off-leash because it's not allowed. He was immediately bombarded by about 4 dogs, all with owners failing to recall their dogs, and then yelling "don't worry, they're friendly". I don't care if your dog is friendly. My dog is going to be uncomfortable when he's on-leash and has nowhere to go while all your dogs circle around us. Later, a husky ran 200m away from his owners calling him, straight into our dog's space; after that, the poor guy didn't want to walk any further so we had to turn around and go back to the car. PLEASE follow the rules so everyone can feel comfortable using the trails! I'm sure that the mountain bikers and hikers also don't appreciate the off-leash pups.

Unlike the on route on the north side of the 401(westbound) this one does not have much of a selection of vendors You have the ubiquitous tim hortons other than that i only saw an A&W, there is of course the Market grocery/convenience store. On the plus side it was very clean. Mangement needs to up its game on this on route See the photos i posted

I like how the main trail (double trail) loops around the property. The amazing single track is easy to navigate off of the double track. Easy to get back to where you parked. The single track is amazing. Fast, lots of roots and rocks on the harder trails. A ton of fun.
