Enjoyable quest with a group from work. Got a bit if grace time, and managed to solve the dungeon, which can host groups larger than 8. Dungeon can be a bit dusty and claustrophobic. Hosts enthousiastic and knowledgeable. They took pride in their puzzles, but also lamented about people going too far and breaking props. Nice for team building.

Lot's of fun. The people running it are clearly very in to what they do. We did the wizards tower and very nearly completed the puzzle so they allowed us to finish the final step while they set things up for the next group.

Amazing escape room! Although didn't make it with 4 buddies, it was pretty fun. There are some stuff that misleading us to waste some time but we get the idea eventually. Everyone should try this escape room. It an amazing place with good price as well!

If you do one of these escape rooms, you'll want to do another one of theirs. I've done escape rooms at a couple places in Kitchener (which I also loved) but the quality of the Khronos Gauntlet stands out - more secret hidden rooms to find, and better quality of props and theme. Did the Wizard's Tower today, and immediately started pulling together friends to do the Dungeon next - got a sneak peek of the first area, and it looks amazing!

We were impressed with the amount of detail in the room and the unique theme. We did the Wizards room and it was great - we want to try the Dungeon next time!!

I am someone who quite frequently goes to escape rooms, I love them, and try to get everyone else to try them as well. I did the dungeon, and though the whole set up was beautiful, and the props were really great... The room really lacked any sort of problem solving. Without spoiling it for other people - 75% of the room is searching for symbols & pattern matching. Though I do think it’s okay to include this in a room, I don’t think it’s very fun when the entire hour is spent doing so. Not to mention, It’s incredibly hard to see down there (as a dungeon would be), which honestly just makes the experience more frustrating. I am interested in testing out another room, however am skeptical based off the experience with this one. Since I have been to lots of escape rooms, I know how much potential a room can have - and this one has a ton, I think it just needs to be executed differently. I wouldn’t recommend this room for a first timer, only because I don’t think it’s the best representation of what a escape room typically is. Other than that, the staff were super great and helpful, and like I said, the whole room was absolutely beautiful. I just hope maybe there’s a different puzzle being offered down the line with such an awesome space like that!

Definitely has some of the most challenging rooms from a mental standpoint, not impossible to solve but requires a balanced team that hold various attributes and skills when it comes to escape rooms. Their approach to designing rooms allows them to create immersive and fun rooms that will push teams to really think. It's not just about locks, it's about the story and puzzle. Will definitely come back with our team.

Went with family to do an escape room for the first time. We did the Wizards Tower which was a lot fun. Having been our first escape room I think we should have chosen an easier one to start. The staff was great, they came in to give us clues and help us complete it after the hour was up. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and I will be going back to try the other escape rooms.

This was my fourth escape room. Before I start my review, I'd like to point out that the first three were far more similar in how they were structured. While I personally prefer that structure, that isn't to say that I didn't appreciate and enjoy the innovation, surprise, and unique challenges posed by Khronos's difference. With that in mind, I'll review this experience on its own merits and not by way of comparison to the other rooms. My group tried The Wizard's Tower. I would rate it as difficult. I really enjoyed: - The staff. They're awesome! - The overall look of the place - The sneak peak of The Dungeon--made me want to try it out right away! - The effort put into fleshing out the rooms with lots of props I would suggest: - Allowing the players to choose when/if they want to receive hints - Being a little more clear about the plot--at one point, we didn't really know what we were doing or looking for anymore - I would have preferred a wider variety of puzzle types Thank you for a fun experience. I look forward to going back!

If it could be -1 star i would, we booked this room WEEKS in advance and when we got here we waited an hour in the cold with no answer. We called their number and knocked on the door. No answer. Awful and untrustworthy way to run a business- you could have called and let us know we need to reschedule. Our entire group was very disappointed. We. Will. Not. Return.

I have only been here once so far, but everyone I've talked to about it has always said to have had a great experience. We escaped "The Lab" and it was super fun, challenging, and well thought out! The counter girl explained everything thoroughly, and was very upbeat and pleasant. She clearly loves her job, and it was awesome to be around. I can't wait to come back!

Went here for my birthday with a group of 10 and tried to escape the dungeon with the Holy Grail in our grasp. Even though we were caught we had a lot of fun. The puzzles were well balanced. The whole thing was very immersive and well done. The staff was so awesome and helpful. When we do another escape room we will definitely come back here.

My group and I have done most of the escape rooms available in the KW region and have succeeded without too much trouble and when I heard about KG we had to give the Wizard's Tower a shot. We were pleasantly humbled. The rooms are gorgeous and we had a blast exploring every nook and cranny... unfortunately we were just shy of the hour mark before we made it out but we weren't too hard on ourselves. We found a new challenge and can't wait to come back and try out the other rooms. The staff was awesome and the location is great. It's a bit of a smaller space but they really make use of what they have.

We have done upwards of 15 escape rooms across the country. We found this one to be decent. The staff were friendly and organized, the room had fairly high production value with custom made mechanics etc. We did the Wizards Tower, which was fun, but didn't fit the theme very well. It felt fairly generic and had little to no story. The puzzles were okay, there were some creative ones, but some were tedious or not intuitive as to which clues lead to which puzzles. The decor was beautiful, although there were a lot of breakable things in the room that were not secured. I felt nervous that I might bump something and break it. Overall a fun experience.

We've completed about 60 rooms at the time of writing this and completed 2 rooms here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are well made and well thought out. I thought the puzzles had some unique elements and the rooms were fairly immersive. The main room does need a good dusting after the COVID break and some elements in the rooms could be improved BUT I do recommend going here and trying out the rooms. Did the dungeon, was not a good escape room. There was no solving involved with this escape room, the whole time you are just searching for keys and symbols, and not solving. The room was built well but there were no puzzles, it was literally just search the room. Based off the experience from this room I would not recommend this room.

I have been twice now and this team puts together such an interesting and challenging experience. The Dungeon is great for a large group and you don't feel like you're in a basement with cheesey props, it's pretty damn authentic looking! Everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. From the quality and attention to detail with the decor, to the friendliness of the staff, the Khronos Gauntlet was an experience that you definitely should not miss out on. Though the puzzles were challenging, learning to work together with your team to figure them out was definitely the hardest part. Now that I know what to expect as a challenge, I am looking forward to trying out their other rooms.

The decor and the staff were outstanding. We had an issue processing our Groupon and the guys were very understanding and helped resolve the issue very quickly and painlessly. Cool escape room venue downtown Guelph. We did the copper club escape room which I would not recommend - some pretty cool tech connected puzzles, but in general it was small and you spent a lot of time without a clear objective / wondering what to do next. Had to call in a few hints, which made the room a bit more irritating than it is fun (apparently 10 hints is about the norm and while we were well below that, getting "stuck" on a piece that you're not sure you could have solved even if given 2 hours isn't great). Staff were friendly, place looked professional. I'll definitely be going back as I've heard good things about their other rooms. I just wouldn't recommend this particular escape room and truthfully, I wonder if it's even good for Khronos to have it at all given that it probably has a lower enjoyment factor than everything else they have on offer.

This place is amazing in every way for an escape room! From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is set. I did the science lab and had a blast. There were nine people in my party and we each contributed in our own way. I had only ever done one other escape room but this one blew it out of the water! If you are considering booking a room do it! It will be worth your while.

One of the best escape rooms our team has done. I don't know where to start ... The staff was welcoming and friendly, and great to interact with. The rooms were dynamic and hands on. When you think you've seen all the rooms, you're surprised there is another one. The Khronos Gauntlet Escape Rooms in Guelph takes you by the hand and leads you through an incredible adventure. The host was wonderful, gave great descriptions, was friendly and available the entire time. He ensured that everyone had a great time and was able to leave having more excitement and happiness than having come in with. The dungeon one of the rooms can be quite difficult but will challenge you in ways you would not expect. There is also one other room the magician's tower, with an other in progress, the laboratory. Look forward to the opportunity and experience of trying the other two as well.

I have a co-worker who has been arranging escape room events with her friends almost every weekend since! I also had a great time. It is so fun to work your way through the puzzles. I definitely recommend khronos and specifically the Wizards tower room is the one we completed. Very fun story.

I am so sorry to have to do this. Our team has played 33 games, and escaped 27. Let me first tell you what's good about their Dungeon. It was beautiful. The set design here, was really good. And I can also say that the staff were really nice. I can't fault that at all. Now for the bad stuff. While what we could see of the room was beautiful and probably movie worthy, you could see very little of anything. We have two people in our group who were sensitive to the low flickering light, and one actually had to leave and wait outside in the fresh air. For sure the low light did not enhance the feeling, as most of the time we were fumbling in the dark. Now sure how safe that is. And the puzzle flow - terrible. Huge leaps of logic, and not even clever. There was a lot of search around for things in the dark... things that made little sense to the the goal, if there was one. If you go into their dungeon, you might have fun for a few minutes because it really does look like a medieval dungeon. That part was cool. I'm hoping to try their sciencey laboratory game since it's their newest. Staff told us the dungeon was their first. So maybe the new game is better. But I don't know, I would definitely redo the entire dungeon game if I were them. The game isn't fit for money. I might pay $10 to go through it as a halloween haunt though.

Not the first escape room we done there but this one (Dungeon) was not very well organized. Great setup but you need to have a very good knowledge of all the letters in the Greek alphabet. Without that you are going to be lost.

We arrived at 7pm, and were the only ones there. The place was clean and the staff were friendly, and they have good COVID-19 procedures in place. We did The Lab, and had a lot of fun. The puzzles were well thought out, the rooms had a good layout, and the theme was great. Will definitely be going back again soon!

This was our 5th attempt at an escape room..we tried The Copper Club..here are my thoughts: Good stuff: - staff (young woman)was very nice and seemed to enjoy her job. - the small room(s) were nicely designed in terms of props, eye-catching appeal. Some good tech ideas incorporated too! - staff allowed us to go over the time limit a little, as the room was known to be very hard, and it was a snowy day with some cancellations. The Not-So-Good Stuff: - The story-line was a bit 'blah'. No real suspense or sense of danger/excitment. - The logic required to get from clue to clue at some points was...stretched, to say the least! We had to ask for hints on more than one occasion, and even then, we often felt like it wasn't enough to make the leap. I won't give the game away..but let's just say for us, in this game, our chips were down! - one room was so darkly lit that you almost needed a torch to explore it. - some red-herrings were annoying and didn't add to the enjoyment at all...just made you even more frustrated due to the stretches of logic required for the "genuine" clues. - when we ran out of time, we asked the staff member to show us the 'finale' to show us what we could have seen...but even the staff member couldn't get into the final room! Seems that the last bit of tech involved was either extremely difficult to get through (even for staff) or the instructions/ tech doesn't match up or work as designed. So we never actually saw the final puzzle or room...even when the staff member tried to show us! Not good. There are 2 other escape rooms in Guelph. I went to Khronos tonight with some friends. We've done escape rooms before and know this drill. But this one was incredible! We did the Copper Club and it was tough. That doesn't happen to us often! Went here as part of a bachelor party and had a great time. Our group did Dungeon, which was a unique escape room. Most of our group was new to the Escape Room activity and everyone in the group enjoyed themselves. A word of caution that Dungeon is quite dark so it won't appeal to all potential participants. Austin was a friendly host and did a great job of explaining the objective(s).

Great Fun. We had 5 people do the Wizard's Tower. It was a great setup and we had a lot of fun. The puzzles are quite clever, and really neat with the hidden rooms. We would definitely go back and do the other escape rooms. We are also looking forward to their new escape room they are working on. The staff is great and help with the atmosphere!

The Dungeon was amazing! It was clear that tonnes of work had been put in making the place feel different than other escape rooms. The game itself was a great difficulty level, with a couple of easy finds that made our group feel like we were making progress... We weren't! I'd love to see a more obvious entrance way to the building (I've walked by before without realising you existed), and a visible timer in the Dungeon to know how far along we were. Definitely coming back for the other rooms!

From what weve heard all the escape room type places/scenarios are different and we were impressed with the Dungeon (first one)! Realistic...enough creepiness to invoke caution but not enough to interfere with the fun of the game. Already planning our next escape! Thanks guys!!

We used this location as the location for my daughter's 16th birthday party. We had a party of eight separated into two groups who could take advantage of one of three different rooms. The variety across the three rooms pretty much ensures there's going to be something for everyone but I would suggest that you check people in your groups for anxiety or for claustrophobia sometimes within the scenarios that are created for you within these rooms certain sounds and sights can cause people to react we had one such person in our group who felt real anxiety about not being able to get out even though it is clearly marked and explain to you that there is an easy way out should you ever feel that way. The staff at Kronos Gauntlet gave my daughter and her friends an excellent party that she won't soon forget.

So much fun to go with a big group of friends. Been here twice already for the Dungeon and the Lab. Will definitely come back for the Wizard's Tower. They try to make the experience as immersive as possible with great settings, props, lighting and sound effects. The staff are super friendly too and are always trying to improve their rooms.

We had an amazing time completing the Wizard's Tower. The rooms are beautiful, well-made, detailed and full of awesome surprises. The puzzles were challenging at times but the hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back to attempt their other escape rooms!

Wizards Tower was fun exciting and definitly a little tricker than we thought it was going to be. It kept you guessing with every turn!! Does a great job immersing you in other worlds and challenging your problem solving skills. Beauty job setting up atmosphere and Sam is a really cool dude. They need a doorbell and it would be sweet if they could decorate more of the lobby to build in the feel of the rest of the place, kind of link between the escape rooms and the lobby to make it make it even more immerisve. Overall, highly recommended.

I honestly could not ask for better atmosphere or detail in an excape room. The room we did was challenging but fun for all skill levels. The one thing no other business in Guelph can beat is the incredible staff. They were all positive people full of jokes and passion for their work. They go way above and beyond for their customers! This is my second visit, tried both 'the dungeon' and 'the wizards tower'. It's way too hard, so we couldn't escape in time, but my friends and I had a lot of fun poking all over the place searching for clues :)

I have been to around 15-20 rooms and this was one of the most fun rooms I have been to with very extravagant rooms, themes and puzzles. I will go back again to try the dungeon room in the basement. Luke thye owner/creator was extremely friendly and has a brilliant vision for the creative and theme based rooms and puzzles. 10/10 reccommend.
