Very pricey! Even when the clothing is 50-60% off. Selection is okay, definitely geared towards the older crowd. It's at the Cambridge mall, so parking is free, as is wifi. Bathrooms are on the second floor, at the very back (by kitchenwares).

I am so disappointed with my first and last experiene ordering a gift for my wife Susan. I spent alot of time trying to find out where i could purchase this perfume and was told the Bay had 5 in stock. When I went to the store in a neighboring city I was told it would have to be ordered in and it would take 2-5 days to come in. I had paid the full $118.00 for this perfume and waited. Her birthday came and went and Christmas came and went with no perfume and no information to the whereabouts of it. I called today to see what the status of this order was (3 weeks later) only to be told that the store had cancelled my order without letting me know!!!!! This is totally unacceptable and frustrating for me as a consumer. Very disappointed that there was no effort made to contact me and that there is no number I can call to issue my concern. Expected better service from one of the few remaining CANADIAN companies left. Sincerely John Ceccomancini (her husband)

You need to come prepared to spend some time here. To be honest, most of the stuff here is out of my price range, but if I take time to look around I usually find some good deals. There are a lot of brand-name items here! I wish the ladies' swimwear section was bigger. The clearance racks, which are in the aisles, can have good deals. If you are looking for deals, check out every rack that's in the middle of the aisles. That's where the deals are!

Canada's oldest department store. They have everything from watch batteries to furniture and everything in between. A little pricier than the big U.S. box stores, but they carry all the big brand names. Next time you're in a Mall with a Hudson's Bay store, stop in and have a look.

A great place for shopping when you need new clothes or shoes. They have great selections of items to choose from, and they update their stock for every season early enough. You cannot expect Walmart pricing here. However, you may get great quality items for great prices if you are lucky enough to come to the store when they have one of their great sales and discounts. Another line of products might interest you is the perfume selection that they carry.

My wife and I went into this store more for nostalgic reasons and curiosity. Since we're still in pandemic mode and just recently came out of lockdown, we thought we'd check this store out amongst the rest of our Cambridge, Ont. mall. We were pleased to see someone was watching the front entrance and questioning all who entered regarding COVID regulations. Still sad that The Bay is no longer Canadian owned. Had a pleasant tour and was pleased that they have washrooms accessable to the public. No longer a common thing due to pandemic. Wife was pleased their cosmetic department did not have overpowering fragrances coming from it (overpowering scents give her headaches). Small benefit of people wearing masks and not readily able to sample the products. We do hope this and other stores will survive these tough trials the pandemic has put the world through. Really lets us know where our priorities lie.

Never buy furniture or couches here. Horrible experience, sales people are impossible to deal with. Won’t let you take material samples home, and just couldn’t answer any basic general questions about furniture construction and warranty. Ended up buying a set of couches that, once in our home looked totally different than it did in store under the fluorescent lights. Customer service and the Bay would not allow us to return or exchange the couches immediately after they were delivered. 3 weeks after sitting on them and they look horrible. Cushions totally deformed and pilling. The Bay won’t work with us at all to come to some sort of resolution to the issues. Do yourself a favour and buy your furniture somewhere else, like wayfair where you can return things without issues. Big department stores are a thing of the past, and the Bay will suffer the same fate as department stores in the past...... and we all know why.

It is the only store of the old era left. They still have great deals. The Bay started out as the Hudson Bay but over the years the name was changed to The Bay. Lots of parking and this includes handicap parking as well. If you are in Cambridge Ontario stop in and look around.

This has got to be one of the worst stores in the HBC chain. Each time I go it seems to get worse. Now the shoe department looks like a discount place where you have to serve yourself and the boxes are all stacked on shelves. There's so few staff at this store so don't expect to get much service.

I find the Bay overpriced especially on mattresses and furniture--they are laughable. I just went there on Black Friday because I had a $200 gift card. Bought a duvet cover and a sheet set. Quality was okay, but nothing to run upstairs and yell down about. With the Black Friday discount they were more comparable to other store's normal prices. I think it won't be long before they go the way of Sears.

Last time I was there, I received great service from a very kind woman who helped me look for a jacket for my wife for Mother's Day. They did not have her size available on the "for sale" rack and she went out of her way to track one down for me in another area. Didn't get the sale price, but I got what I was looking for. If I could give them no stars I would For a company that is hundreds of years old you think they would know how to treat there customers properly and would know the rules of customer service. My Brother purchased flood model couches from there store first they write down the wrong address causing the couches to stay with the delivery driver for another WEEK!! THAT IS A WEEK WITHOUT COUCHES!! second they deliver them so damaged that the metal frame where the arms are is poping out and the material is ripped and dirty in several palaces third the people over the phone gave us a had time saying they will call back and never doing it (we would have to call them) then when we asked for the manager they would give us the hardest time even though he was the one dealing with our case forth it took them forever to pick the couches up from our house fifth they then don't want to refund the money for another 30 days even though the manager said that it would only take 24 hours it can't get worse then this the service is JUST S**T

An older lady with white hair treated us as if we were doing something wrong by sitting on the couches, even though we were actually shopping for a couch for a friend's room, just because of our age (we're 18+). Rudely told us we can't sit on the couches because "it impacts sales". We weren't even on the couch for ten seconds. Just lost a sale on a couch.

I've been going to the Bay for decades now and it's just not the fabulous place it once was. It still has things I've always chosen to get there only: perfumes, watches, housewares...but I guess in an effort to compete they've downgraded their brand and feature a lot of things I'd never get there again..like clothes. Hudson's Bay Cambridge has restructured their cashier/check out areas. For moment I thought I was in a Sears outlet (even though they are long gone). There seems to be less sales associates on the the sales floor. However, regardless of the increase of customers in the cash out line up, cashiers are very, very pleasant and helpful.

The staff seem unhappy and the place could use some sprucing up. Selection is poor compared to other Bay stores.

I'm always at The Bay. I love that department store! Quality clothes at reasonable prices. I'm enjoying the Bay at Conestoga Mall. That place is like walking into a Toronto store.

Terrible policies in these times of retail stores closing they should focus on keeping a customer not giving a hard time for them to not come back bought a shirt boxing day was never able to open it finally did but it had a manufacturer s defect was initially told it can't be returned I simply wanted an exchange with great difficulty amount was put on a gift card the associate was trying to help the system didn't let her do the return a few kind words or well be happy to exchange would be nice instead of I can't do it the system won't let me never shop there will never set foot in there again bad luck took us there that day and taught a good lesson some places deserve to go out shop online Hudson's Bay may have been around for decades but it's time to wind up now you will sink very soon with this attitude yes policies are there but to keep a customer you sometime s have to work around it I am one person but surely not the only one to have encountered this good luck bay your days should be numbered

I admit I only went in to look at some cologne (which happened to not be in stock) and the thing that sets this visit apart from any other visit was the fact that the sales associate didn't try to sell me something else , instead they helped me locate it somewhere else ... So although this store lost a sale (this time) they're still keeping a loyal customer ... I genuinely appreciated the help ... Cheers

What was suppose to be a 20-30 minute experience turned into a 90 minute fustrating ordeal. One person is working the entire shoe department and we were made to go to her as she wouldn't come to us. But yet, in order to find stock in Men's shoes, the staff member had to walk over to where we originally started from before anyway. That was fustrating situation #1. #2 - none of the on sale items where cidco into your point of sale system corrwctly After discovering I was charged $29.99 each for my polo shirts which were suppose to be two for $40, we we're again ushered off to the men'ssection to speak with someone elsee who was nowhere to be found. Instead the service staff member in the ladies shoe department who rang in our closes could have been more helpful. However we received a "Honey, I would just have to go over there anyway" in it's place. #3 - Again, pricing is not updated in your system. Did you know your London Fog jackets are 50% off right now? Because the staff don't know! Instead of initially checking what is on the floor and what is marked 50% off they reference a flyer, claiming it's only for Calvin Klein, Guess and the like and doesn't apply to London Fog. Hudson's Bay Cambridge, your staff are lazy!!!
