Trail is always very clean and tidy and there's lots of great spots and benches to stop along the way and enjoy the river view! Just watch out for swarms of bugs at certain times, but that's expected of any wooded nature trail near water!

Very nice trail to visit, and connect to nature. Get ready your camera because some beautiful view to capture. I don’t give a 5 star only because the directions to get there seem confusing or missing.

Beautiful spot, and very well maintained. Beautifully conserved, with gorgeous views of the different types of nature all around you. There are entrances for your canoes, kayaks, and tubes. If you're looking for a quiet spot with your hound, your kids, or your friends, this is the spot for you. Lots of sun, shade, benches, and beauty. No bathrooms, though.

A fairly nice trail section going along the Grand River. There are a few benches along the way (the nicest ones at the beginning, or northwest, of the trail). The trail starts at the northwest end at Otterbein Rd (there's parking), and wraps along with the river, going under the Fairway Rd. bridge, ending south at Woolner Trail (no parking).

Very pretty, riverside trail that has benches and workout equipment along the way. I used to walk the trail daily when I lived closer to it and I miss those days. Sunsets where the Speed and Grand rivers meet are very nice to watch and often there's a group watching it with you.

This is a great section of the Grand River Trail. We live right nearby two different entrances to the trail so we visit often. There are a few nice sections of the river with paths from the main trail to take you down, and there is also road access and a parking lot in case you want to drive in for a hike. The Mennonites also like to frequent the trail, and I saw their buggy in the lot with their horses tied off nearby. Check out the photos, or better yet go visit for yourself!

A beautiful trial near the banks of grand river. There is no winter maintenance but it's beautiful with its scenic beauty. There are lot of ducks on the lake and river is so clean. During summer a lot of people visit these trails . U can ride bycycles and take your dog's to this trail

Very manageable walk along the lake. Views are quite nice, especially if you manage to catch the sunset! I recommend hiking through Natchen Hill as well if you prefer walking through the trees.

Nice trail with good scenic points all along. Parking at the entrance for 20 cars maybe. Mostly empty and locals just walk to the trail.

Well maintained and has great little side trails for hiking and biking. There is also one or more old VW beetles hidden away on one of the side trails. No idea how they got there but make it a day to go find them!

The trail is pretty well taken care of. You can go 'off the beaten path' or stick to the paved parts. Probably the only place in Kitchener people say hello unless they are selling you something:) My favorite place for leashed dog walks in Kitchener.

Awesome trail for walking or biking - especially the side-trails, which are winding and a great challenge for mountain bikers. Go at your own pace and enjoy! The main trail is well maintained and can be used year-round. In the winter it's good for cross country skiing.
