REVIEWS OF Canterbury Falls IN Cambridge

Giuliano Petti

This waterfall is a little more remote than some of the other falls nearby. It a has a bridge where you can look down into the falls itself. Getting under the falls is not possible/not safe at this particular location.

Irena Balsan

The trail is not very hard and the view is very nice.

Wendy Marissen

Trail was moderately challenging for my kids, I was fine, trails are clean and clear, good views. Good way to kill an afternoon with school age kids to get them out of the house

Anwar Darsot

Great place for hiking, be prepared though, lots of climbing and descending hills.

Erin Normore

moderate trails that are great for kids and family. I love getting out of the city and escaping to these trails!

Beautiful waterfall, best observed in the fall after a rainfall. Lots of trees around it that provide beautiful colors

Hiking, biking, and walking in the Dundas Valley is ALWAYS a great day.

Easy hike from nearby mills fall. Quiet small fall with little foot traffic. Becareful of mountain bikers who like to go fast even with people sharing the trail. …

Beautiful area and enjoying the walk through the fall views and the falls. Great area to visit with the family and kids. Not very hard to reach and not a long walk. The first hill and steps seem a little difficult at first but not a long …

David Marcelli

Long hike to the falls, and it's not really much.

Ashok Jeevan

Beautiful falls! Small hike from the parking spot. Be wary of climbing down as its slippery.

Nice waterfall on a nice hike. As with most trails, these can be muddy and slick after some wet weather. Wearing the right footwear helps a lot. We'd like to return to explore more of the area one day.

Good starter falls, good one to see with kids, short walk from the car park. Weekend visits are not recommended. Try mid week.

Nils Foss

Love this trail.loop

Craig Chevalier

It's a lot quieter than the nearby Sherman falls. If you park by Sherman falls at the time of this review the trail that connects the 2 falls has been closed. The walk between them is quite a bit longer on the road. Worth mentioning as it does take considerably more time to see both. Beautiful spot.

Piranavan Vivekanandan

A small waterfall after a 20-30 min hike, and medium difficulty. Nice scenic path, but not a spectacular or must see waterfall.

Shayla Gunter-Goldstein

Beautiful hiking trails to the falls and perfect photo opportunities.

Jessica Petta

Smaller falls and doesn't flow sometimes in the summers but one of my favourites in the city

Christina Rodriguez

This is one of the shorter ribbon waterfalls in Hamilton, ON. so it's much safer to climb on and get soaked..which is necessary if you frequent waterfalls as much as I do! Make sure to bring towels if you're adventurous enough. Well kept …

Aaron Vandenberg

Lovely little place. The falls aren't jaw dropping, but being off the beaten path keeps the hordes of people away.

Will Bradley

Had a great late summer hike to Canterbury Falls. We were lucky that there wasn’t too much traffic on the trails.

The falls themselves are not overly impressive. But we had a beautiful walk through the snow. It was very quiet and peaceful with only the occasional walker. Could be different in summer though. Would like to go back again in summer.

Livy K

Great hiking trails

The adventure is fun and the castles and train are things kids can play on. The waterfall looks beautiful. It's fun to play there and there's lots of benches to have snacks. You can play catch there. The view looks nice. The river is slow.

It's Nice, just people need to be safe there

Ryan Sim

Pure heaven

Dave Toth

When the is a fresh snow and the forest is hushed, you can't hear the snow crunch under your feet. Stop for a minute - the sound of trickling water is very calming.

Howard Yuhasz

Its awesome

Chiki Vanna

Very small fall, but it was still cool to see. And the hike to see it was nice.

Mahesh Namechan

Very busy place

Shawn Santon

Beautiful quick hike, highly recommend for those in the Hamilton area or GTA. There are 3 beautiful waterfalls along a 30/40 minute hike. Parking is 5$ for the day and is well worth it. Fall colours are certainly worth seeing transition. Pretty busy on the weekend but lots of nice travelers.

Hormoz J

Located in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, the Canterbury Falls are lovely. You have to hike a bit to get to them, but it's well worth the trek.
