Amazing escape room experience! One of the best rooms I've ever done and my husband and I have traveled all over Canada and the U.S. doing them. We weren't sure how the rooms without a theme would be but they turned out fantastic. Can't wait to go again the next time we're in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.

This was one of the best experiences my family and I have had. We tried the vault, it was challenging but also very fun. We didn't make it out the first time so we came back a second time to finish it. The host (not sure what to call him and we didn't catch his name) but he was amazing, he made our experience so much more enjoyable. My 6 year old nephew was scared of one of the dark rooms so the host turned off the spooky music to help calm him down. It was amazing, we will definitely be returning to try the other rooms. Highly recommend this place.

Our group has played approximately 15 escape rooms prior to this one. We played two rooms (Mayors Office and the Vault). Our group loved the Vault and rank it within the top 3 of the rooms we've played so far. We didn't enjoy the Mayors Office nearly as well but still had a good time. Overall the puzzles were generally enjoyable/clever and the rooms themselves are impressive. We found the staff a bit unresponsive during our second game but excellent during the first. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we'd certain recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun time.

Do not judge this place by its cover! While the building on the outside may look like a deserted old factory, the interior and the experience is worth it! We were a group of 8 and played the Alternate Adventure. It was definitely a challenge and we had a great time! Will be back to try the other rooms too. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Went here with a few friends and we all had a great time. We did manage to escape with a few seconds left on the clock. There was a lot of thought put into the room. Many different things to figure out and some cool gadgets that I haven't used before. Only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because the parking isn't the best, had to park behind it by the railway tracks.

Small-ish escape room company in a vintage location next to the railroad tracks. Was there as part of a group event, thoroughly enjoyed the challenges. They have four rooms, so plenty of re-playability. Prices are competitive with other places. Lounge is well-stocked with snacks :) Will be back!

I had a great time here! We took 6 to this event for my birthday and an anniversary celebration. They had an excellent setup with a variety of outside the box puzzles and rooms. We didn't finish but had a blast with this.

Well, I want to mark this review lower because we only made it through 60% and needed a lot of clues to get that far. But that is totally our fault, and wouldn't be fair to the creators, lol. Actually the puzzles are clever and not that difficult once you get the idea of how it all works. I would definitely go back (and perhaps do the same one just so we could finish it).

Owen was a great host that made the overall experience one to remember. The virtual aspect of an escape room was quite unique and very interactive making it as enjoyable if not more than the actual experience. Adventure rooms offers the virtual experience to be done over a Zoom video. This allows for non-local groups to find a team and work together to solve puzzles at varying levels of difficulty. Whether its family, workplace or a group of friends, I would recommend this to anyone looking to test their problem solving abilities.

With four different rooms to solve at varying sizes and difficulty, this location offers a good deal of content for multiple visits. Some puzzles are creative while others are fairly tacked on but, as these rooms do not follow a narrative (a sorely missed aspect), it's difficult to convey progression without some more easily solved puzzles between more time consuming ones. Without spoiling, it's difficult to explain some of the fascinating mechanisms that are in place which show a love for the design. Hopefully, in future, they'll be willing to update the rooms with new puzzles and layouts.

We did 5 rooms across both locations today and they were all a great time!! Staff was so accommodating and went out of their way to add a time slot for us to do a 6th room even though we weren't able to in the end. We've done around 25 rooms yet we still encountered puzzles that were so unique and we had a blast solving them! I can't recommend this company enough. Thank you SO much for an incredible day of escape rooms :)

We really enjoyed our virtual escape room. Was a challenge and made you think probably a bit harder than if you were in the room yourself because you are directing someone else on what to do. This was my first time to an adventure room, so were for 5 people with me. Staff is amazing. They explained everything we should know before locking ourselves inside The Vault. First 3 trivias/challenges/puzzles are the hardest because we didn't know what to expect. We were kind of lost. After a while we were more comfortable doing it and we manage to escape successfully before time is over. I will definitely do it again.

Adventure Rooms Canada is the best escape room place I've ever been to. Excellent genre-neutral puzzles appeal to a wide audience. (No annoying math-heavy or cryptography puzzles.) Mostly "look everywhere" kind of puzzles. Large rooms, with cool tech (not just a bunch of bike locks like other cheap places) Rewards and surprises are very satisfying and always exceed expectations. Staff is excellent. Many rooms to choose from in both Kitchener (4) and Niagara (2). What a great way to spend an evening with friends! Whether you escape or not, you'll have a great time and you'll be talking about it with your group for hours afterwards!

The staff here are great, very pleasant and enthusiastic about escape rooms. I didn't enjoy the room we did (original room) as much because the clues/puzzles were harder to connect than other rooms I've done. It could also use a bit of tidying up/updating as well.

This seems to be one activity that can be enjoyed by an 8 years old as well as a 80 years, as long as they are not handicapped, for the building itself isn't handicap friendly. It's an old lovely building though. There were big groups of people here on a sunny and autumnal morning. Their ages range from 10 to mid fifties. For a group of 14 kids, the price was $21/kid for 2 games each. Everyone seemed to have had a great time coming out of the locked rooms. Some kids said they had fun just watching their peers solving the puzzles. There were social games to keep the kids busy between the Adventure Games. The kids wanted to come back again.

I've been here several times with friends, family, and co-workers. I've done all of the rooms now. It's always been a lot of fun. The puzzles are creative and challenging. With a larger group, I've found there have always been a couple of puzzles to work on at a time, which means you can break up into smaller groups so everyone has a chance to contribute. The employees have always been friendly and are good at explaining how it works. I definitely recommend this place.

I've done all of the Kitchener rooms (except the Alternate). It's such a fun thing to do with friends and while they book up pretty far in advance for evenings and weekends, if you can get a group from work together and take a longish lunch, you can get in pretty quickly during the week. I've found the more diverse your group is, the higher your chances of escape are, as everyone's different ways of thinking come in handy. All in all, an excellent time!

The rooms are a great mix of hands on and mental puzzles. Teamwork is needed in every room. We will be back to finish the Mayors office at some point! I've been twice, once with a large group where we did a "duel" and once with a small group. Rooms are challenging but not impossible. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Building is well put together and the waiting room is very nice. A little hard to find though as there's no easily visible sign outside.

I've now done all 4 adventures. Original and alternate adventures are decent, but both are likely due for an update or overhaul. The vault and the mayor's office are both excellent and a ton of fun. The final clue in the mayor's office... I wouldn't have solved it even if I was given a full hour for just that one clue, but it still featured some neat game elements. The vault is well designed - challenging, lots of places where you could get stuck, but solveable if you hustle. I like the size of the rooms and the variety of the puzzles. Lots of fun and would recommend.

When I first heard of escape rooms I was blown away by the concept and had to try them! The closest to home was Adventure Rooms Canada in Kitchener. We booked right away and my wife and I did the Alternate Adventure. WOW! I was blown away by what a cool and unique experience it was! We didn't escape on the first try. It ate away at me "What did we miss? What did we do wrong!?" and with in a couple of weeks, we cracked and went back to try again; with a vengeance! We escaped with only SIXTEEN seconds left on the clock! Intense, creative, brain challenging, amazing! I can't recommend this place enough. Stop reading reviews and book a darn room! You won't be disappointed! We will be back to solve the other rooms! Amazing job!

This is the second time I've been to Adventure Rooms and it was amazing! The staff is always SUPER friendly and helpful. We did "The Vault" and managed to escape! It was perfect for our friends who have never done escape rooms and yet still super challenging for a few of us who have done these before! Such a fun activity. Highly recommend!

I've had an absolute blast each of the three times I've been here: I've played in a pair, trio, and group of four (each in a different room) - all of which were fun! It's a bit on the pricey side but the thought put into the rooms is evident - the clues are clever and no room is the same. Get ready for a fun adventure! (The parking available along the side of the building can be a bit messy with pot holes)

We had a ton of fun here. What a great group activity. The location was a little difficult to find because of having to park around back and the entrance wasn't well identified. They offer coffee/tea while you wait for your group to arrive but you can't bring them in to the room. One word - Challenging. Dare to try !! They have four rooms in kitchener. So far me and my friends got to try, The Vault and The original. Even though we were not able to escape but we still had a lot of fun. For people who dont know, this is a place where you can go and experiance getting locked in a room for 1hr. The task at hand is to solve all the different clues and hints placed all around the room and try to break out of the room. You should go with your friends and enjoy!!!

My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday here with some friends. Although they didn’t manage to escape, they had a blast and immediately began making plans to return! We rented the party room for an additional cost, and my Husband and I were able to comfortably sit and wait for the girls afterward, in the lounge area. I would recommend wearing a t-shirt for comfort, as it was boiling hot in the building (Adventure Rooms doesn’t control the heat). They did, however, provide a fan for us, which was appreciated. I look forward to coming back with some friends for an Adult’s night!

Fun puzzles and was great for a large group (24 people). They broke us up into 3 groups and 2 groups went head to head (each with half the time to solve half the puzzle) while the third group enjoyed board games in the nice lounge with refreshments. Then we rotate and after 3 rounds everyone has done everything. At the end they added up the times and declared the victor. Very well organized!

I really appreciated how many of the puzzles involved manipulating objects in the room in clever ways, as opposed to simply deciphering codes or putting together jigsaws (common in many other escape games I've played). "Duels" (between two teams) are also quite fun!

I went to adventure room Canada in kitchener and I have to say it was one of the best rooms I've ever been too. Our game master Alyssa was so friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful she truly made the experience phenomenal. The room was difficult and fun and me and my family had an amazing time. I cannot express in words as to how much I loved the escape rooms. We were so amazed by the 1st room - “The Missing Finger”, we wanted to try out the second room “The Vault”, and then we couldn’t stop ourselves we finally completed all 7 rooms(Both Kitchener and Niagara) in less than 2 weeks. The staff here at both the locations are amazing.They made sure everything was sanitized before we started. Kudos to the Game Designer. I still can’t believe how you could put this through. I’m just baffled. We are eagerly waiting for the 4th room at Niagara.

The actual facility is in a bit of an odd spot in Kitchener, but was relatively easy to find. Inside, it was clean and bright, and well marked. They had lots of board games for non-covid times, and tables set up. The escape room we did was the Alternate Adventure and was a lot of fun! Interestingly, this room does not have a story or pre-room recording so we were left to figure things out on our own. Would absolutely go here again!

Adventure Rooms are a solid first-choice for new Escape Room players and returning fans. While their rooms are not necessarily heavily themed, the caliber of the experience, quality of props, and use of creativity appear to set the bar in the industry. I just know other places wish they could be as good. All the rooms in Kitchener and Niagara Falls are fantastic.

I have done all the rooms at this location, by far my favorite in Ontario! Hosts are amazing, rooms are so well done , you will leave in just amazement ! If you ever want to try an escape room I can't reccomend this place enough. Puzzles are challenging but fun .

After reading one of the reviews about a rash I decided I should post my experience as well. I also experienced some sort of reaction after leaving this place. I thought it was just me but when I read that review that someone else got a rash from this place it makes me believe that it is the place that caused my reaction. My nose became really itchy and red after leaving.

Went there with 4 friends on my birthday and had an amazing time. We almost made it so they offered us extra 20 minutes. One does not need any special knowledge to crack this but just common sense and good reasoning power. The team also gave us clues from time to time. Took 1 star away for not having clear signs to reach to the unit in the complex. I almost thought that we were lost and will not be able to make on time but did.

Virtual Escape Rooms was so much fun. Planned this session with work friends, located in Vancouver and California. I made an error in my booking and they were great with sorting everything out right away. (Shout out to Owen) We did the Mayor's Office escape room and it was done really well. Our guide was great awesome and really jived with the group's sense of humour. We had a blast and with 9 people we solved the room with 8 minutes remaining. Will definitely play again. Highly recommend.

This place was a ton of fun for me and 5 friends. With a group of six, it was only about $20 each. It's a great way to spend some time with a group of friends without the distractions of cellphones. A good change from movies or video games, everything is real and interactive! I will definitely be giving this a try again in the future.

Absolutely amazing rooms with well thought out puzzles, great room design, and the staff are amazing. They're helpful and very attentive to what is going on in the room. My wife and I completed a room at literally the last second and the staff were genuinely excited for us as we opened the door.

The building on the outside looks sketchy. And you can't really tell where to park. But the inside is nice, they have games and stuff to pass waiting time. The adventure room itself was fun, bring your smart friends... I wouldn't suggest to bring any more then 6 people to a room.

I highly recommend trying a room (or four) at Adventure Rooms Canada. We did the original room and it was a great and challenging experience. The staff who facilitate the adventure were so awesome and enhanced the experience. My only caution would be if you park on the side of the building be super careful if it is dark out. It is poorly lit and not an even surface, it is also very muddy in warmer temps.

We enjoyed the puzzles and the outside of the box thinking. Amazing effects! There was great ambiance in such an old building. We were disappointed and frustrated by the timing of the clues, which we asked for but came few and far between. Overall, we all love the thrill of the game over the escape and feeling as though we aren't just stuck needing that nudge in the right direction.

Firstly, I must admit that I can only directly vouch for the waiting room, because that's where I sat while I waited for my son's Scouts group to finish their escape. I found their waiting room to have comfy chairs, quite suitable for waiting in. Indirectly, I can attest that the scouts all had a fantastic time there, and would absolutely love to go again. The whole ride back I was regaled with stories of the boys' thrilling escape!

The Adventure Room Canada- Escape Room Games, was a very rewarding and beneficial experience. We participated in the standard game which was an hour in length and we had a memorable time! The rooms presented an enjoyable challenge and everyone was able to help out as there were multiple tasks that needed to be completed. The technology, such as the infrared thermometer, snake camera, and specialty glasses provided us with a very unique experience. The staff were polite and answered all the questions we had before starting our game. The building seemed to require renovation on the exterior, and it was not in an ideal location; however, the inside was physically appealing. The washrooms, lobby and the escape room itself were all clean and met our expectations. There was also very reasonably priced snacks and beverages available to guests before we entered the adventure room along with board games which we were complimentary. The overall price for the experience was reasonable and we would be willing to go back at another time to try a different room. The website online was user friendly and easy to navigate and the online sign up was both manageable and straight forward to complete. We were also quite pleased to be given a free locker for our belongings and were not forced to pay extra to store our possessions during the event. The one downside to the experience was the parking because it was very difficult to find a spot since there was no designated parking lot. We ended up circling the building and the block a few times until we were eventually able to find a spot a block over. One suggestion we have that we believe would enhance further participant enjoyment would be to design the first rooms to be more easy to escape from and position the more challenging rooms later in the experience because at the beginning of our adventure we became so frustrated we almost gave up and we found the puzzles easier to solve later in the game. Overall, we would certainly recommend the Escape Room to family and friends as it was an amazing 4-star experience.
