Here you will be able to see all the information of real people who use the products of Vancouver Virtual Visitor Services (Tourist Attraction) in the area close to Burnaby (Canada).
Right now this firm receives a score of 4.4 over 5 and that rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is positive, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the valuation is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction is included in the category of Visitor center.
Friendly and informative staff.
Really helpful staff and heaps of information! Their systems where down but they did everything they could to book us tours and things to do!
Great place for up to date info on what's happening in Vancouver!
Advice provided seems selective, presumably based on commissions from favored companies?
Useful information there
Great people, super friendly and helpful but more importantly their service is free! Can't imagine why any tourist would go anywhere else for advice on what to do around the city.
Really helpful and friendly - and a fantastic resource of information.
Very attentive persons asked us immediately if she could help us and gave us information and maps on the things we were interested in. Once equipped with everything we'd had our time to sneak around and inform ourselves. Thanks for assisting. There are plenty of info and aks maps coupons etc you can profit on.
Very helpful staff (although a little bit off subject sometimes ;) ). They sell SIM cards for travellers, which was really great for us.
Amazingly helpful, cheerful and always smiling staff. Well done guys. You doing great job.
This review is for the City, itself. We stayed at the Georgian hotel by BC Place Stadium. I have to say that we were actually freightened walking through Chinatown due to all the folks who were down on their luck (homeless). It was down right gross and scary. We've traveled to nearly every major city in the western hemiphere and have rarely felt that scared walking through a city in the middle of the day Thankfully, from Gastown west is walkable and interesting to explore. The architecture is strangely homogenious; all the buildings look like they all came out of the same architectural firm. The setting however is world class beauty, hard to beat. I'm from Seattle and I have to say the Vancouver setting might just earn it most beautiful city on the West coast.
A great view, and a great location. Visitors and travelers welcome to Vancouver, BC, Canada! Hope everyone enjoys and having a great experience in Vancouver.????
Some good info for typical tourist things around the city. Staff not overly friendly. I've certainly been to much better tourism centres in other countries.
Super helpful and friendly staff. Clearly caters to those looking for package tour deals but I was just looking for road maps. I read in lonely planet you could get them for free with CAA or AAA but they actually cost $5.60 and they only had a map for BC. That said, she suggested where I can buy other province maps and offered suggestions on the best route to take on my way to Jasper. Worth the $5 for that invaluable advice. This place is a must hit the moment you step into Vancouver
Very helpful staff. You can get the sim card/data only plan for tourist here. We got ours for 7 days, 2 gb for 45 CAD. You can also buy the ticket for the suspension bridge here, which is 5 CAD cheaper (and much faster than on premise). They also have tons of brochure and general info on how to get to places.
They were super friendly and instructive. The guy at the counter gave me good recommendations and referee me to some good websites for additional information. They also have a brochure for gay Vancouver which is kind of a nice welcome.
Awesome place and view!
Warm welcoming and the clercks are really dedicated. I have been well advised and this visit was really helpful !
I got a lot of useful information here and also booked a group tour. Kazumi working at the information desk helped us to reserve the group tour. She gave us lots of information about tourist attractions. I can't thank her enough.
Really helpful, answered my questions. And had good recommendations on what I should do. They supply maps and offer great tour guides.
Beautiful view, feel relaxing over there. It's better go their in summer! ????
great place to book trips. assistants have good knowledge of the area.
Nice place (near the canada place), located close to the harbour too. everything is accessible from there. The port for boat tours, the bus for city tours, it even has a subway station (around 100-200m) nearby. Staff is friendly and well informed.
Off season and still received great service with no waiting as their was sufficient staff to meet the demand. Great location with lots of "what to do" info whilst in Vancouver.
Staff was lovely and very helpful. This is indeed an excellent source of information about Vancouver and not to mention you can grab some good deals.
Very kind people who really saved our holiday by finding us a car rental service that did not had problems with me being the driver and my partner having his creditcard.
So I rarely rate places poorly but I have photos as proof. so when we were deciding on how to get around to see all the glorious things around British Columbia / Vancouver area we thought about a ride share like Uber. unfortunately they don't have this here in Canada so we thought okay let's do taxis maybe. As you can see by the screenshot none of the taxis in the area have above a two-star rating for overall satisfaction. So the only thing we have left to do was rent a car. Don't do it! because the city will find a way to give you as you can see by the picture over 135 dollars worth of fees if you happen to park in a wrong spot even though you can pay the meter to park there. Don't know what to tell you about how to get around, maybe use the bus system. But there's no other way that seems good. I know this has nothing to do with the visitor center but there's no other way to rate how poorly the city supports visitors.
They answered all our questions very kindly. The right place to go if you want information about places to visit, things to do and advice about good restaurants in the area.
Helpful staff. Great for tickets to theatre under the stars. Discounted for same day shows.
Very helpful woman who gave me a map and suggested we go to gas town for shopping.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. A wide variety of tourist brochures are available.
Close to public on weekend!?! This is a tourist infrastructure.
The people are super helpful to figure out more about you and make the right place suggestions on what to do in Vancouver
Very helpfull and friendly people. The best location for information about Vancouver and beyond.
They are always very helpful and friendly
This is gr8 place to get information any tours and pricing options for tours of various things to do not only in downtown but also Victoria and other regions. The staff are very helpful and patient.
My wife and I were very lucky to have met Raymond. He gave us a ton to do in a short amount of time and by asking us a few questions was able to tailor our Vancouver experience to our tastes. BTW Raymond is the guy who brought the famous fireworks competition to Vancouver! How cool is that?
Staff members and volunteers are very helpful and friendly. Everyone at the Visitors Center love Vancouver and have an enormous pleasure sharing information with guests. You can buy tickets with discounts. Visitors can access the internet, get free maps, have staff helping with reservations for tours, restaurants, shows and much more. Make Tourism Vancouver Visitor Center your first stop when visiting Vancouver and you will enjoy our city even more!
Helpful staff but the place is somehow hidden.
Welcoming no matter what you're looking for.
The tourism office has a very nice staff, gave great recommendations and directions. I am not sure why reviews are for the city itself would be listed here. We have come here twice for vacation and have loved it each time.
I have to defend... Anyone could have a negative experience in any city. This is the google map for Tourism Vancouver office. Not for Tourists that had negative experiences in Vancouver. In saying so, I wonder what neighbourhood Betty and Jennifer visited to say its a filthy city or being broken into the car 3 times in a visit ( hard to believe ). Have lived in Vancouver since 1990, most of my life. I love this city and people... But its not perfect, certainly we have crime, we have dirt and we have rain. Nonetheless, I wouldn't live any where else and feel blessed for living here.
To know Vancouver; is to talk Vancouver.
We must have gone here a half dozen times for various things, including buying tickets. The staff is great with help and suggestions.
Helpful staff for tours without a hard sell.
Best place to grab a quick bite and some super Juice!
haha my family always come here and it is fun and awsome
I needed a sim card while i was in Vancouver. The staff were very helpful and explained how it all works. Pity the carrier charges were high and after doing some research I used my T-Mobile account with a $5 upgrade to international.
Very helpful staff! Detailed information about the places to checkout and discounted tickets for attractions as well as local shows.
You can get useful info about Vancouver.
I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is appetizing and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we enjoy a pleasing time. warmly recommended.
Really helpful staff. You do get some same day discounts on shows. Be sure to check that out in the morning you enter Vancouver. You can also purchase tickets of attractions from here if you want to avoid queues from the respective attractions.
Awesome place. Surrounded by lots of amazing tourism attraction. Keep your lens on and enjoy trip
A beautiful centre with very friendly staff and volunteers. I always try to stop in and say hi to learn something new when I am downtown!
We asked for brochures and info and only got a small map of Vancouver so it didn't really give us a lot to go on but it's a start.
A good tourisr center that gladfully helps
Very helpful centre to visit to guide you what is in the city and how you can go and see lot of tourist venues
Extremely helpful staff providing endless suggestions on tours in and around Vancouver.
Digital and smart management.
It's a nice place to get lots of information
Went here for tourism passport challenge It was nice
Very helpful staff. They also have a free charging station for phones and a place where you can buy data
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also sell tickets.
Awesome place to get infos for tourists. Located downtown, by the water, so easy to pop in when going for a stroll. Only wish, it was open longer.
Very friendly staff who know their stuff... Good knowledge and interest in the city and surrounding area.
Very helpful and friendly. Offered specific advice in line with what we requested and made some additional suggestions. Can't ask more than that. ????
Very helpful staff, got some good tips for my short stay.
Central Vancouver tourist info is good. Helpful and informative
Our guide was very helpful, gave us lots of useful information, we had a great day following the tips given!
We got off the cruise and the office was very close to the cruise ship terminal. We talked to someone and booked a tour to Whistler with Bentley Tours, and it was a great recommendation. Our family had lots of fun.
its awesome the best city I ever lived and grew up ill never want to leave
Very surprised to receive your free book all the way in Australia. Great service and looking for to using it in September. Go Tourism Vancouver !
Really helpful plus you get discounts on most of the attractions.
Great location for the various restaurants and shops, with frendly staff.
We were disappointed with the assistance we got from the staff as the person we wered dealing with did not take the time to appredciate exactly what we wanted. This was mainly because she was a holiday temp and did not know much herself nor did she know how to fihd out. The centre should be manned by people with a good knowledge of the various tourist resources.
Very helpful people.Great place to visit if you exploring Vancpuver
Very e exciting city, lot's to do.
Very positive experience, David went above and beyond to give us all the information we needed. Definitely worth a visit if your visiting the area!
Timely and excellent advice which enabled us to plan our long day trip to Victoria. Friendly and efficient. Go there as soon as you can after arriving in Vancouver.
I asked about a marathon location and they didn't know there was a marathon going on about three blocks away. I get that they don't know everything that is going on but she responded like I asked her something incredibly obscure or asked her to shine my shoes.
Helpful staff. The place to go for discounted event and concert tickets.
Every city has its own problem to fix. You can't just judge a book by its cover. Vancouver is a beautiful city. Houses are extremely expensive because it's one of the most livable cities in the world (Ranked 1 The Economist's World's Most Liveable Cities). You're basically living in a big backyard. Mountains in the North, surrounded by trees, fresh air, friendly people and much more. It's one of the most diversified cities to be in. The tourism centre is extremely hopeful if you're looking for anything, from accommodations to discounted attraction tickets. All the counsellor and volunteers are so proud of their city that they loved to show it off!
Very friendly and informed people, willing to support. Canada Pass for national parks available
I don't remember the name of the lady with the blue eyes who was so very helpful. I got to the Aquarium and was glad of the advice, maps and tips/discounts
Very helpful and friendly staff , well worth a visit .
Everyone very nice in there! Love the way they care about you! Lots of information and some offers while buying tickets for local attractions (such as the tower). Lovely staff!
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Easy to locate
Am biased, but even residents should visit this centre, information and discounts given with friendliness and a smile.
Helpful people manning the desks. They're knowledgeable. Gave us lots of information ranging from inside info on our Inside Passage cruise through to local tourist activities.
Can't really comment as only in it for 5 minutes. No wifi for the public which I was looking for. Alaska/America not a place to go if you are looking for free wifi.
