Here we offer you the reviews of real people who are purchasing the products and services of Byrne Creek Ravine Park (Tourist Attraction) near Burnaby (Canada).
To this day this firm receives a rating of 4.5 stars over 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is basically the best one, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we may conclude that the assessment is quite credible. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction corresponds to the category of Park.

Hard to believe this is right in the middle of Burnaby, in a very urban area. It's an interesting park with a dramatic ravine and creek. Didn't see any salmon spawning.. maybe later in the year. As others have mentioned the trail is not particularly well marked. A large section of the east side is currently (Sep 2019) closed to the public due to some kind of construction project. Overall a nice place for a stroll and to feel like you're deep in the forest, check it out if you're in the area.

Great walk nice views good exercise

Nice for an easy walk

I just drove though the park

It is naturally natural

The best little urban oasis

Natural park in the city giving you fresh air and quiet , not much facilities there..

Wonderful hike.

As usual in BC, very nice Park with good playground and peaceful surroundings, pathes are good for walks, jogging and cycling. Recommend this place!

A natural uncovered ravine with a salmon spawning creek running through it. Walkable trails surround it as well as a park, wading pool, basketball court, lacrosse box, ball diamond, and tennis courts. Very close to Edmonds Skytrain.

It's pretty darn close to actually being in nature. Great for a good hike down the ravine and up the other side. Has dirt paths as well as a paved path around the park. Lots of up and down but I like it there.

Awesome place to visit and take a break

Great short trail, the elevation change and all the stairs make for a great leg work out

I really enjoyed it here. Had never been, it was a very rainy day, and even with that everything was so lush and fresh! There are a few steps, and some parts are slightly less friendly if you were in say sandles. But the area is beautiful and nice. Can walk all the way around it. Fun for a short trek or the whole thing. Plenty of place to stop and relax, have a bite to eat. There are some little fairy houses out there and painted rocks. Super cool to have when there is so much else going on around

Went geocaching and loved it. There were warnings of wild animals like coyotes and owls in a few spots though but i didnt meet any thankfully. I really enjoyed my hike. The area is also bicycle assecible. There were a few people about but not really much. It is just like most hiking places. Trees around also make shade from the sun.

(Translated) A beautiful Park to walk oh do a little exercise. In salmon season, it is a place where they lay their eggs. Amazing live it (Original) Un parque Lindo para caminar oh realizar un poco de ejercicio. En temporada de salmón, es un lugar donde ponen sus huevecillos. Increíble vivirlo

Nice park with lots of trails.

Great trails around a nice neighbourhood stream

(Translated) A quiet path (Original) 一條寧靜的小徑

Yay nice

3.2 km loop with up and down, the virtical drop is 87 m in the forest, sunshade trail. There is a washroom besides park, Ron McLean Park.

Very nice

Nice views

Not much of a park I guess

Great trails to hike.

Nice park to walk a loop around with the dog on leash.

Very nice trail with a mix of elevation. Very quiet and not too many people along the way. Love the sound of the water that runs through the creek.

Love this park - amazing hiking trail (makes tou feel like you are in the deep woods) in your back yard

Great local trail for hikes with family or dogs.

Awesome

Nice park.

Look carefully, you'll find the trail.

Cool in the summer

Wilderness in the city

A small trail that has mild elevation. Good for light walk.

The best place to walking

If you went to Taylor park fro elementary school then I recommend his place because it's very close to a lot of people and is a very good neighborhood to be in.

Very nice trail, very easy and relaxing.

An island of a wild forest. Beautiful immaculate nature.

Quite difficult to return to the parking if you walk around the loop.

A nice little walking trail with a creek flowing through. Lots of walkers throughout the route

Such a nice trail and park. I go for runs here almost every morning now. ????

Great walk in our neighborhood. But it would be nice if they widened the path all the way around and not just the north east portion.

Great shaded walk that's approximately a one hour loop. Dog friendly with relative ease. There is one steep area that cannot be avoided, but the other path structures are well built with stairs and guard rails.

Nice escape from urban life with access from the skytrain

(Translated) Forest Park for a quiet walk (Original) 조용하게 산책하기좋은 숲공원

Fantastic trails.

Nice place for a stroll, trailing. kids and family friendly. Streams, stairs and bridges. Benches for sitting.

Great place to reconnect with nature in the heart of the city

My kids love to play there

Nice for dog walks

Byrne Creek Ravine Park is a great place with residential access east, north, and west. Many of the resi streets also have parking. Off Marine Way, you can park in the area of Byrnepark Drive and Southwynde Avenue. From there the perimeter trail leads up to Edmonds Metro station. Then circle around and walk west to Ron McLean Park (which has washrooms). At Hedley Avenue and Portland Street, continue south on Bank Street. The tennis court is where the trail starts up again. We were so happy to find the stairs that take you down. While the upper trail mixes nature sounds with the skytrain, once in the ravine you will have just nature and running water sounds. A bridge takes you out and up to Southridge Drive. From there, you can take the sidewalk back, but definitely take the trail that goes up a small hill. That inner trail winds along with views of the ravine and the creek, and connects to the perimeter at multiple junctions. Byrne Creek Ravine Park was a really surprising and clean urban park. I thought it would just be street level strolling next to low and high rises and the skytrain, but going down into the ravine was a treat. Our walk was about one hour and went from street access to flat paved paths to another park to dirt trails to stairs to running water to a bridge to a forest hike. With so many points of access, close proximity to streets and transit, and such variety in surroundings, this is a gem to have the city. *Whoever is the artist for the various signs (re Byrne Creek Streamkeepers Society) about staying out of the creek while salmon eggs are in the gravel, you are a wonderful and humorous illustrator! Keep drawing. Daniel

Beautiful trails to follow, you immerse yourself in nature. Though not a huge park, its trees, plants and wildlife are worth visiting. Good bike trails also.

This park is all the things an excellent part should have swings water park things like that kids love it

Gorgeous

A nice place for daily trail run, with elevation!

Beautiful serene place.

Short forested trail close to Edmonds skytrain. Not stroller friendly but suitable for kids. Look out for Fairy Doors... :)

Nice walking paths amongst a highly residential area.

Great walk.

Great for whole family and furbabies! Good even path. Some stairs, so not full accessible or inclusive.

A nice spot for a hike ,with a few trails ,there are two main trails one on either side of the ravine ,and a paved bike path as well, the one trail follows the Byrne Creek for awhile before climbing up around 300 stairs back up the ravine ,a good workout for sure ,and also a beautiful walk in nature right in the middle of the city !

Beautiful spot for a walk - shady canopy on a hot day.

One of the best hikes closeby. Natural, diverse, accessible, beautiful.

Great short hike (45-1hr). Most of the trail is covered, which make it quite ideal when it's sunny out. Typically come here with the dogs off leash

Love the ambiance!

Awesome trails in an outstanding park.

Nice and quiet neighborhood park

I live to this place two years almost and never knew that there is a hiking trail here Its amazing

Didnt really enjoy it. Cmon we live in beautiful vancouver you should have expected me saying this on Byrne creek

It's a nice wuiey place....

Very nice place to walk hike MTN.bike ,have picnic with a friend named nick.or throw a stick for you dog just a beautiful place rite in the city

Nice park

For a small park it has some nice trails with an incline. You can even bring your hiking shoes for some parts if you like. We walked around in runners.

Beautiful park, not too crowded when I went on a chilly Sunday morning

This park is really built around the ravine, and it's impossible to cross. There are internal paths on the west side, to get down to Marine Drive. Return path either follows the road up to Southpoint Drive and Brynepark Drive, or climbs the stairmaster to get back up to Ron McLean Park.

Short and easy hiking. Beautiful during winter time

Great place to go for a walk in the middle of the city. It's not a very long walk but its centralized and has great views and peaceful areas to relax and soak in some nature.

(Translated) Nice, comfortable and wonderful location (Original) موقع جميل ومريح ورائع

Amazing experience

Excellent refuge into the nature, right in the middle of the city

Good trail

A great place to walk nature trails is a natural forest green space.

It was really nice trail. It's so close from where I live, yet feel like I was somewhere far away. Creek s so nice - should dip my feet next time.

Lovely park!

Very nice

The trail is well shaded

One of my favorite parks. Absolutely majestic.

It has quiet, nature trail, cloae to community, scjool, and skytrain

Very nice treed area cool on a hot day don't try to get to the Creek it is very steep hills ????

Good for family days

Always a lovely place to take a walk!

Awesome

Best place to have a stroll in the woods

Small gem of a park, thank you for volunteers and locals for maintaining it. Spawning salmon, owls, trails and bike path. The stairs (200 steps) also provide a great cardio exercise.

Beautiful park for light in city exploring.

WA~WOO ....beautiful~

Great hike. Be careful of the unmarked trials, they can get a little tricky without proper shoes

This park has great summer activities for the community. I take my daycare children to here very often!

Great place in the city

This is a trail meandering in a calm and peaceful forest with an elevation gain of some 50 meters and a distance of 3.5 km.

It's a great solo hike, theres one section going back up the bank which I want to mark out for others so it's easy to find.

Really enjoyed this trail! Very peaceful and not too busy. If you do a loop, beware that there are several sets of stairs. Also, it's a multi use trail, so there are lots of cyclists.

Go up the steps not down.

Excellent park with a great workout!

So peaceful and sensitive

A nice hike that is a bit rough at parts and can go down into the ravine.

A gem in metro Vancouver

Byrne Creek Ravine is a great place for a walk in the woods. The City of Burnaby has built steps on the hills to make it easier to walk. It begins at Ron McLean Park, near Rumble, and ends at Southridge Dr. There's a nice creek where you might see salmon, all contained in a forest to offer shade in the summer. Begin at Rumble, just west of Griffiths, or, if you want to climb a steep grade, begin at Marine Drive, East of Gilley.

Great place to have daily exercise! Climbing the stairs 9-10 times just like went to GG.

Great little city hike. Ĺots of wildlife, including bears!

Nice, quiet walking path area that's perfect for dogs or just having a small stroll

Great Burnaby park

Calm, peaceful, and relaxing

Great for a walk

Great place for a walk

Wonderful BIG park with a great network of paths. Plenty of space on the main paths to socially distance from others while enjoying the outdoors. Park appears well maintained and patrolled for safety issues. Several little artsy spots hidden around for those who seek them out. Be aware of swooping owls at dusk.

Love the trail system here. Great place for a hike!

At just over 3 kilometres this is a lovely urban / nature walk. We started by the washrooms (thank you for this amenity) and went clockwise. You have a choice. Going this direction you are on a mostly downward slope until you get to the stairs which is definitely get the ticker going ! Or you could go counterclockwise and it’s down the ( couple of hundred ) stairs and a long gradual uphill. Many thanks to the people that built this gem !

(Translated) Nice place to walk (Original) Lindo lugar para caminar

I love walking around this park. It's got a good mix of nature and city. Well maintained

Love this park! When you're down by the creek you're surrounded by nature and it almost doesn't feel like you're in the city.

Great hike in the middle of the city!

The off pavement trail is very nice. Surrounded almost entirely in the woods and good hike for about 200 steps climbing back up. 45 min in a loop. Not too busy even on weekends

Nice trails around the ravine,. Good for dog walking.

This was a lovely walk, with just enough challenging moments to keep it interesting for the kids (ages 3 to 14) without being too difficult

Great place

A beautiful urban nature preserve. Went there on my own. Highly recommend for the tranquil surroundings and the slower pace you can get into just being surrounded by all the beautiful tree's, stream, other relaxed walkers, and their dogs.

Beautiful hike, lots of steps on the western path (where it forks off from Brynlor Dr). We did them on the way down, the other side is a much more gradual incline. I didn't see any maps so, you may want to use your GPS if you're an anxious hiker like me :) Along the eastern return path, there's a cool old mossy stone retaining wall in an area that looks almost like an abandoned amphitheater. Would probably look very witchy and cool at night with the two big twisted (oak?) trees along the wall. There's also an area of this park (North West end) that's very manicured, including a tennis court, playground, kids pool, field, etc

Good place for a walk in the morning.

Good for walking. Healing good.

Great park, super safe, have gone there plenty of times after dark (till about 10-11 pm). Right next to the transit!

Nice walk with friends from 22nd Street Skytrain Station to Edmunds Skytrain Station on a beautiful day.

Perfect for family barbecues and picnics. Easily accessible.

Great place for small creekside hike .

Cool, nature walk under tall pine trees. Stick to the paths for safety.

This is always a nice walk with decent pathways and a nice salmon steam. A nice, little escape from the city while still being in the city. ;)

Love walking to work through this park

Great spot to explore.

Great spot ????

So lovely ! Such a little slice of heaven in a busy neighborhood. I love the little creek. I can imagine it’s a great place to walk a dog too.

Although a bit cool. A great place for a walk.

Such a beautiful park, i've lived around it most of my life, and ive seen it grow and stay beautiful. Please visit it and do the walk, its very serene, just be respectful to the neighbours

Good!

Sunsets are beautiful here. So go walk the dog, and stroll back down to Steveston, the pup will love it!

Completely mindfulness trail !!

Beautiful hike

Loved this place because of the central location of quiet serenity walking through the bottom of the Ravine then coming to the stairs just the right amount of exercise. Only was not enough places to sit

Awesome place to get fresh air

A good hike with a bit of an elevation coming out of the park. In the trees in the middle of the city, what more could you want?

Cool, shady, quiet, and huge. Enough space for everyone.

Nice nature walk in the middle of the city

Great little place for a nature walk, run or cycle on the bike path. Couple parks near by. Fenced in Dog park as well. Salmon spawning in creek. Cool adventures for all ages.

Beautiful place for a walk or a drive!

A great place to hug a tree lol

Quiet and a great place to bike

Great park for running or walking. Trails just SW of Edmonds sky train station or bottom of station street. Nice wide paved walkway in many parts but dirt trails connecting. Goes down into ravine and creek just like in the wilderness

Lovely

I love this park. It's a little slice of nature literally a stone's throw from the 29th Avenue SkyTrain station. You can hike right down to the creek which is cool. It's a great quick escape from the buzz of the city. The new boardwalk at the north end gets you right next to the water. Hopefully, the Parks board will extend it so it eventually runs all the way up to 29th Avenue.

It's a nice place

It was excellent for photos. It is a nice place to have a short walk.

Its a nice greenbelt with quite a few trails for walking and cycling. Watch out for the coyotes and owls at night with your dog, though.

(Translated) Nice place to walk (Original) Lindo lugar para caminar

Nice ravine to take the dogs for a dip or walk on a hot day. Beware the homeless camps the closer to the train you get

It was a nice day for Hiking.

Enjoyed the trail! Running or Walking here is very peaceful and gives you pleasure. Cycling is also a good option here.

Pretty hidden gem!

Great hideaway park with creek ravine to explore

Perfect for short walks

Awesome to walk around and be close to nature. I run after dinner almost every night

(Translated) Here is a leisurely walk in the jungle park. Friends who like nature can come here to enjoy it, keep in mind safety, because it is quieter. (Original) 这里是一個优闲散步的丛林公园喜欢大自然的朋友可以来这里享受一番,紧记注意安全,因这里比较宁静。

Beautiful creek side trail

Nice and easy to escape away.

Good for family gathering.

Great trail walks

I pretended to be a tree here for at least 6 hours and no one noticed. Excellent park, would tree again / 10

Nice interesting park that's good for all skills levels. Went with the kids and dog but we got a bit lost and confused as there isn't much signage. Lucky I checked it out a bit online before we started so we figured it out. Signs and markers would be nice.

Nice park

A nice path leading from the Edmonds SkyTrain station to a children's playground.

Very nice walk/Run on a light rainy day.

No cell signal...

Good service

Lights flickering, love deepening & Connections building. Full moons have mysterious powers, grateful to have spent this evening in the light of the full moon with my twin. Xo

The best outdoor park around offering 30-60mins of quiet walking with rich terrain complexity.

Love Byrne creek

Great quick nature walk within the city.

(Translated) Quiet and comfortable atmosphere (Original) 조용하고 편안한 분위기

It's a beautiful natural park. Not much else to say really.

It is a big park

Nice place to attach to our nature. A Forest within a city.

(Translated) Nature's Gift (Original) 자연이 주는 선물

Amazing place

Good

Very calm and beutiful...fresh air...water flow...

Quite and peaceful. Have to be strong to climb up the steps.

Very good place and every one must visit once all facilities and utilities provided by govt

The trail around the Creek is very pretty and private. The entire loop takes about an hour to complete and has about 30-40 metres of elevation difference. Some part of the trail is right on the edge of the cliff that you might want to avoid if you have small active children with you. Plenty of parking along the road on northwestern side of the park.

It is a easy to get there.

There's a nice long staircase in this park that rivals at least the Coquitlam Crunch. Coquitlam Crunch is wider and has a better view, but this staircase is shady with big trees on either side. So it's more pleasant on a hot sunny day.

Good place to relax and i love going for walks there ????

Beautiful diverse walk great terrain

Good parking and well maintained courts.

It's a little haven in the middle of the city

Excellent trails picturesque scenery.

Nice to be able to have natural vegetation when hiking. I guess it wont be long before this is torn down for development as well. Sad.

Good place for hiking with family...

Very nice and well layed out nature walk in burnaby by Edmonds skyyrain and goes for quite a long way . Very nice and peaceful

Great park for families

Love walking through the park you can do the loop in about 45 minutes.

Natural trails in the woods in central Burnaby. A pleasant respite.

Beautiful place for evening walk

Beautiful 4km loop trail through old growth forest

Lots of trails, great park!

Nice place to get some fresh air

Our first time there and we loved it. So nice and quiet in the middle of city.

Good spot for dogwalks

Great neighborhood trail system. Has some hills and stairs if you want to get your cardio going; otherwise an excellent place to go for a casual walk with plenty of shade during the summers. Connects to Ron McLean park where there are several several outdoor facilities (ex. a basketball court, a roller hockey oval, a baseball diamond, a splash pool, tennis courts, and a picnic area) to take advantage of.

Decent park

Fun hike for kids salmon fry in the creek.

good place for jogging

Me and dog enjoyed it very much

Finest park in the hemisphere.

Cider Chug

Good breakfast, but not a fine foods.

Wet wet wet! And yet .. ever perfectly meditative and soothing, roaming the riverside silhouette ...

Good for hiking

Very peaceful.

Lovely walking trails in the woods

Nice

Has a great stair climb if you're looking for a cardio workout.

Like a rainforest from a movie

Good trail

Awesome walking.
