My family and I came here after my appt at the Joe Brant Fracture Clinic...my girls really wanted to see the dragons & unicorns exhibit! I planned on sitting out because of my fractured ankle, but the women working this morning were SO kind! They placed chairs around each exhibit so I'd have a place to sit and rest, and the girl at the front desk (I'm so sorry we didn't get your name) was incredibly sweet & fun with our girls. They went above & beyond to make sure I was comfortable and the kids had fun! My girls loved the scavenger hunt (especially the treats that they got after lol) and the rooftop garden was so pretty. Thanks for a fun visit!

Not a very big museum, but the contents were very interesting. If it's a nice day the terrace has a beautiful view.

So quiet but nice exhibit

Went for the Halloween scavenger hunt. It would be more appropriate for older kids, the decoding activity was fun but my 4-year old got bored pretty quick!

Some interesting displays, but minimal information on Joseph Brant himself - one display case and a few minor references in the first section. We found more information on Brant at the Hamilton Military Museum. Also disappointed that the replica house is only that and was not used as museum space. Edit: typo for the Hamilton Military Museum

Closed for a multi-million dollar renovation. Grand re-opening Sept 2019 (or so).

The Donor wall includes many community leaders. There's still space for others ????

(Translated) It was a pity that I couldn't see in the distance. A house is towering on a hill in the middle of the road. (Original) 멀리서만 보고 들어가보지 못해서 아쉬웠다. 도로 한복한 언덕에 집한채가 우뚝 솟아있다.

Small museum. A little pricey for what you get. But it had a lovely travelling exhibitionism recently, and its standing exhibit provides a wonderful history of Brant and the region.

The Mythical Beasts exhibit was really cool to walk through, the whole family enjoyed it. We love the improvements to the museum that were made during the renovations. We were able to book a same-day time slot online, and we were the only people there during our visit. We also saw cleaning and sterilizing happening after we left each gallery, so we were quite comfortable with the protocols in place. Staff was friendly and helpful, there was an engaging educational scavenger hunt for the kids, and or was a nice way to spend an afternoon!

My main reason for the visit was the Rock & Pinball exhibit -- which I enjoyed very much. But I was really impressed by the Burlington history exhibit . It was a nice display of old documents, farming tools, everyday household items, and short, but very informative stories about Joseph Brant and the history of Burlington. All the info was of just the right length that still kept the visitor interested. The staff was super nice and friendly. The museum itself was located right by Lake Ontario, with a beautiful view over the Lake. Well done, Burlington!

It's been sometime since I last visited this museum but I plan to re-visit once their latest expansion is complete. One of the first times spent here was part of a school project. Good survey of artifacts depicting Brant's life and various periods from Burlington's history. In the past I felt it never realised its full potential due to the fact the museum's exhibition space is quite small. Hopefully the new expanded facility will no longer convey this feeling. Convenient parking, public transit available.
