REVIEWS OF Tillebrook Provincial Park IN Brooks

Jani Domawa

Awesome alternative camping area if you miss out on Kinbrook or Dinosaur Provincial Park camping. It is 15 min away from Kinbrook. Pros: free hot showers open 24 hours; well maintained facilities; the campsites are placed in a circular manner with washrooms on the hub; sites are clean with trees for shade; small shop within the campsite; very safe Cons: close to highway so the noise maybe a downer for some; the train tracks are close by and will be noisy at times.

Sylvain Benoit

Park was clean staff was friendly most of the site are treed and a reasonable size. Showers are free and warm. That being said we were tenting and felt that this one is a little too close to the highway and train tracks. The lights from Brooks kind of ruins the camping ambience. Park seemed well suited for RVs (not great for tents)

Aaron De Souza

Great campsite. We were in loop C with 30 amp service. Quite happy with the kept green space in the middle of the circle. Safe spot for kids to play and easy access to washrooms (because that's important)!! I'll definitely come back to this campsite.

Debbie Boudreau

Tillebrook is always our first choice when the area. Full service, nice sites with first pits. Book ahead as they are popular. Close to Brooks lots to see and do #debmur

Great campground. Went to a museum out there that was excellent. Took some time to go to Dinosaur Provincial Park (about 45 minutes away). Went to the aquaduct and learned some great history All around one of the best weekends this year.

Emma Nauffts

Was a nice clean spot. Lots of trees, but our area was tight and not private. Plus lots of holes from the ground squirrels on dangerous spots on our site. Was a place I would camp again but wouldn't be my first choice. Worth it for the cost and the location. We had a fun trip.

Glenda Tetreault

Quiet, great scenery and sunsets.

Jessica Burgess

Nice little campground just off the highway. We were there for a mid-week 2 night stay and it was very quiet. Grounds are well maintained and everything was very clean. Lots of big shade trees and ample space between sites. Nice playground for the kids. All trailer spots were pull through sites so set up for trailers is easy. Dinosaur Provincial Park is only a 35 minute drive away and makes for a nice day trip. Tillebrook is far enough away from cities to make for great views of the sky at night. My daughters were in awe of the stars.

I dont like it not really fun

Ellen Gregory

Great family campground, clean and well maintained. Clean bathrooms. Lots of green space. Sites are slightly close together.

Andrew Berry

Beautiful fall campground, lots of mature trees and a big greenspace behind each campsite for the kids to play in. Nice design so I don't have to worry about traffic as much. No beach, but nice playground. Occasional smell depending on the direction of the wind.

Nice place

Betsy Jenkins

Beautiful campground. We saw 1 other rig there on 10/26/21. Clean bathrooms, trash cans. Water was off for season.

Shafi Zaman

Nice and structured campground. Only central washrooms are flush and shower but not too far. Each loop has pit washroom. Quite nice place. Central play structure and volleyball net. Good place for peace and quite camping. Few small nature trails around.

Colleen Randall

Great family park , professionally managed, clean and tidy

Tanya Benoit

Very clean facilities, even the outhouses, and good space for kids to run and play.

Mike Rowley

Nice little oasis of a campground right just off the Trans Canada highway. We often use it as a rest stop as it has a playground for the little ones and nice bathrooms.

Diane Hansen

Big spots, well looked after, beautiful grounds. Good services.

Darren Presley

Quiet and clean. Playground for kids.

candace goedecke

Nice place to stay. Quiet, clean and some privacy. Just be aware for tics as they have them there and we had to pick them off of ourselves. Only saw two of them but just make sure you check yourself and your loved ones.

Michelle Omilusik

Very clean place with super friendly staff. The bathrooms are clean. My only complaint is of the 5 nights we were here I heard the train late 1 night. But whatever, I rolled over and went back to sleep. It is a 15 minute drive to Kinbrooke day use area and Lake Newell. We will definitely be back.

Jerry Joseph

The water tastes good so that's a positive. But the sites are cramped with just a couple bushes between them. Designed for RV not tents. Not worth the daily costs in my opinion. There is a nice playground.

Gold Dust

Had a great time here ,very clean and taking care campground ,great stay

Irene Gibson

Clean beautiful ....walking paths / playground /Vollyball net/ bathrooms and free showers lots of trees...

Shirley Reid

A beautiful park like campsite with pull through trailer sites. Sad that reservations are needed when campsite largely empty as that increases price.

Adriana Stivalet

quiet clean I just thought the site for the trailer was too small

Cameron Koch

Nice campground!

Courtney & Warren Wray

Super clean facilities, well kept grounds, amazing staff and a great spot in the middle of 'nowhere'. Very quiet and peaceful campspot!

Rachelle Berube

What a beautiful park. Lots of trees surrounding our site, excellent playground and trails throughout and around the perimeter of the Park. Visitor Centre will be opening in mid-may (?) and I see an ice cream treat freezer in there????Took a drive to see the Brooks Aquaduct (2 kms) and Lake Newell at Kinbrook Island Provincial Park (23 kms via hwy or 13 kms via gravel road).

Colin Fischer

Beautiful campground with great bathroom facilities and showers.

Scott

Just off #1, easy access. Nice fairly large private sites. Campground clean, neat and tidy. Trying to keep green with watering. Our site a bit uneven, but we managed. Would stop again.

Betty Trost

Fantastic clean little park. Great green spaces for children to play in. Close to the Brooks Historical Aqua Ducts a must see.

Amber Saxer

Flush bathrooms, free hot showers, big lots great staff and the tail around the park is about 2k also close enough to brooks for anything you need but far enough you get the outdoors in the woods feels i spent a whole week here and had a great time. We were tenting

Cristin Stewart

I know it doesn't have a lake. But if you want something quiet and time to yourself this place is perfect. I like taking my daughter's there to play on the play area while I read a book. It's a very nice little place.

greg patchett

Nice, quiet, empty. Site barely fit our truck and 41' fifth wheel but that's all we needed. Some bushes and trees between sites for privacy, and likely shade in summer. Only 30 amp available, no water or sanidump at this time of year

Kelli S

Beautiful, clean and quiet campground. Great place to stay within 5 minutes from everything in Brooks

Martin Marczuk

Our experience with this campground Pros Free showers. At this campground At kinsbrook island and dinosaur prov u have to pay Park is clean neat and well taken care off. Automatic sprinkler system at sites and co.mon areas. Grass constantly watered to make this oasis in the dessert among farm fields. Plenty of animals at the camp site Birds. Prairie dogs rabbits. Birds and field MICE Park is 10 Min from.brooks so. If you need anything Walmart. Canadian Tire and RV dealer for parts accessories is only 10 Min drive From camp site - staff is nice. They don't talk to campers. They just leave cute typed out noticed on you Campsite post with reminders like ; park on designated paved area or to register at the main office after arrival -30 and 15 amp hookup on sites Con - This park is 2hrs from Calgary , Lethbridge and 1 hr from medicine hat. So it's a hike great for transient traveller - park infested with field MICE so make sure your RV is secure or they will make your RV their new home We got a mice climb our 30amp hookup cable straight into our RV Changing our shore power plugin style for next season luckily we were able to evict the mouse quickly - town of Brooks is nice pop 12000 but the town and park smells like outhouse depending which waybwind blows past the Brooks slaughterhouse. - no beach at this park useless day use area just with picknic benches But great formover flow parking for campers - great beach at kinsbrook island with concession store beside it . This beach is 25 min drive from this park - expensive fire wood 11 $ a bundle Town of Brooks 7-11 charge the same

Right off the high way, well maintained and clean. Clean washrooms with showers. Friendly people. Great spot to spend some family moments.

Tom Dekker

Very nice, clean campground that is well treed. The washrooms are kept clean and the showers are free which is a great bonus. All sites are powered (I believe...) however there is no sewer or water options. Water fill and sewage dump are …

Shannon Fischer
