The visitor centre at Dinosaur Provincial Park was closed due to the off season, yet the bathrooms remain open and tidy. The architecture of this building and the surrounding badlands are picturesque. I can’t even imagine how the visitor centre could bring more to this experience, but I look forward to finding out.

It was a relatively long drive there and we were suspecting that we might have went the wrong way since it was just vast farmlands. Lo and behold, amidst the farmlands, this is where this gem of a place is hidden. Pretty cool place for a hike for sure. We didn't do all the trails but from what we've seen, it's def worth checking out for a day trip.

David Hoffmann

Beautiful scenery. But 90 percent of this area is out of bounds and the part that isn't you have to stay on the trails.

Dana levesque

It was ok ,be nicer if you could look around more and look for fossils

Great experience at Dinosaur provincial park. The staffs at visitor center are welcoming and helpful. The Red Deer valley if I remember right is amazing. Just 2 reminder: If you google this place, please use Dinosaur Provincial park visitor center other than Dinosaur provincial park. Secondly, if you want to join a guided tour, please make a reservation in advance, it is quite popular and you have great chance of guided tour tickets sold out.

Great provincial park in the heart of dinosaur country. Mostly level sites with p/w. Most in the trees, but a few out in the blazing sun (ours). Dump stn at entrance. Great staff. Cafeteria was busy.

What an incredible experience! Booked a guided tour (centrosorus....), you walk up to a dinosaure fossil field, there is dinosaure bones everywhere!

Eline Duin

(Translated) Very nice first we had walked there because you could walk nearby and we had seen a snake and inside was very nice very small bones you could see enlarged and you could make puzzles. Very nice. But we wanted to go to the movie or play idk what it was. But it took a very long time to start so we left.

Leslie Brooks

Staff are rude. Activities are overpriced and the visitors centre has a paywall to the interpretive portion. Unlike Peter Lougheed and Cypress Hills which are both free. Sit outside for the free wifi if you want

Jon McCallum

Great walk. Bring good shoes.

Paul Meisenheimer

A favorite annual trip! Small but interesting exhibits and knowledgeable staff. Great place to explore on foot. The many trails are well marked and worth the time.

Really surprised there is a cafe beside the camp site, even we just went for a day trip, we spent our snack time there with the 6oz beef burger and fries. The burger is so juicy. But the add-on are bit surreal. I understand not everybody eat cheese, so it's a add-on make sense. But tomatos and lettuces...um... maybe only me. Plus the washroom is very clean which is very important to our kids.

Jo Buena

Pretty cool. I think it was $2 to get in. Nice collection of fossils and replica.

We had fun with the kids searching for fossils. The driver was very patient with my boys who were excited to explore.

Jessica Habiak

Good amount of information. Lots of trails. Unfortunately not stroller friendly. Need to wait until children are older

Some very neat programs are run out of this building. We attended a free butterfly talk this past weekend. The kids loved the Fossil Safari too which got us into one of the protected natural reserve areas of Dinosaur Provincial Park. The interpreter was great at getting down to the kids (and adults) level to describe what fossil they had found. There were micro-fossils everywhere, and some larger one too. The kids loved that they could find and touch the fossils (as long as they put them back in the same place). :-)

Very educational and informational

Daria

Amazing park, no comparable with what seen before. We hiked by ourselves and also took the bus tour what was also great as there was many information given by a very dynamic guide!

Beth Grzyb

Absolutely gorgeous! The staff are very kind and the displays are very informative. It is definitely worth the time to hike and see the bone displays on the driving loop. And the cottonwood trees on the hike by the river - some of them are over 100 years old!

Anne Wirch

Brendon Restall

Pretty awesome center. Lots of info on the fossils, geography, history of the area and petrology. Lots of interactive displays on the local wildlife. Reasonable entrance fee of $2. There is a little movie center too.

Here,Paleonthologist Student will lead you to fossil sites where thorough informations will be given and a complete understanding why and how the dinosaur fossilization was extraordinarily possible in this region 70 millions years ago.It is also an occasion of seing and dig for fossil in if you pick the discovery tour.Highly recommended for any science nerd.

Steve Beynon

Fantastic place to spend a night comfort camping. We did it in the snow - needed to wrap up to keep warm. Plenty of wildlife very close by. What an experience.

Catherine Franssens

Good place to go to learn more about the park, especially if you need an escape from the heat or rain while camping. A bit expensive for what it offers, but worth it to support such a great park.
