What a wonderful experience. Of all the historic homes I have seen, this one truly stands out amongst the best. What a wonderful time capsule and staff were wonderful. Enjoy the tea room as well.

David Armstrong

A lovely museum, but badly administered. Be aware, it is only staffed from June to August, but this is not specified on the website.

Kass Rn

Such a beautiful place, I could just imagine what it was like living there. Reminds me of an old movie and it makes me happy. When I was there it was under construction I believe for its 100th year, next year, pretty cool.

Have visited this home on numerous times. A step back in time. Enjoy listening to the stories that the guides share. 4 stars because I wish we could take pictures inside.

Fulford Place is an impressive house museum located in the original Edwardian home of George T. Fulford (1852-1905). Fulford was a patent medicine manufacturer whose products gained world-wide usage during his lifetime and afterwards. 'Pink Pills for Pale People' was sold in most countries. The house is furnished with the family possessions that were acquired on numerous world travels. The grounds of the property contain a restored formal gardens that were designed in the beginning by the Omstead Brothers of American fame. The building stands much as it did when completed in 1901 to the architectural plans of Albert W. Fuller, an architect based in Albany, NY.

I just had a fantastic tour with the very knowledgeable Leah. I’m sure all of the guides are fantastic, but if you are lucky enough to get her you are in for a fabulous time as she leads you through not just a house, but the layers of intrigue that existed in Brockville in the first part of the the 1900s!

If you like historic buildings, it's worth a stop. The family gave this residence to the town with a stipulation that the house must be maintained and not modderized. The interior grand staircase is worth the stop, just to see the woodworking on it. The waterfront land is also very nice to walk and see the building from all sides. Nice to see what once was, could have been like, just emagine. Enjoy, Mega. ;-)

Akram Kiassi

Beautiful property, great tour and friendly staff.

Richard Jones

Good example of late 1800 home of a millionaire. Grounds and building exterior are in need of maintenance. Interior and furnishings are well kept. Limited parking for large recreational vehicles.

Chris Marchand

Always a great place to visit.

Sue Johnstone

Lots of great history and artefacts. Tour was rushed as there were so many folks there. If there is a bus in the parking lot...I suggest waiting.

Beautiful house full of history. The tour was very informative. Being inside the house is like a trip back in time. Very nice experience. Good for families but I won’t recommend it for active little children.

Fred Rothwell

Wonderful to see a historic home that still has the original furnishings and household items in place.

Tours are hourly, and you can't do a self-guided tour. We hadn't read this anywhere before visiting so we didn't go in as we didn't have time to wait until the next tour.

Our tour guide, Martha, was very informative and energetic! The Historical Society has maintained the mansion and grounds with care and dedication! To think millionaire Fulford made his fortune with little Pink Pills! A beautiful homestead on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. A must see!
