Here you will see the feddbacks of people who bought the services of 1000 Islands Brown's Bay Park (Tourist Attraction) in the area close to Brockville (Canada).
At this moment the business receives a score of 4.3 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings is really positive, and it's based on a high number of opinions, so we may think that the valuation is quite credible. If people have bothered to leave their review when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction belongs to the category of Park.

Great to bring your own BBQ and have a nice day out swimming.

We went to the beach. Such a nice, clean and beautiful place. Water is clean. Not too much “stuff floating in the water” (I don’t like that) so I can definitely swim in knowing stuff won’t touch me ;) My son loves to go there. We often bring a little picnic and spend a nice day in the park. Please note that you used to be able to bring dogs but not anymore. I’m happy I learned that before going with the whole fam jam!

Great place to visit for BBQ with the family

Great atmosphere, friendly attendants, enticing views of the water

It's true what others have said about about goose poop everywhere and the $19 entrance fee per car, but the drive from Ottawa is nice, taking River Rd and Hwy 2, the scenic route. The park has a nice atmosphere and is not overcrowded (probably due to the price tag on the entrance fee).

Great beach, awesome park. There is a 15 dollars parking fee, but I think it is worth every penny of it. The park also have baseball field that can also be used for cricket. I would recommend to get their early to get hold of best spots in the park.

Another great spot along the St. Lawrence Seaway. However, you really can't see Dark Island's Singer Castle without binoculars.

(Translated) Good place to relax with family, beautiful river to swim, it just lacks a restaurant and a convenience store next door.

Very clean. Secure. Two small beaches with clean water. Lots of green, tree shade and picnic tables

Amazing, peaceful view of the St Lawrence with a great beach. You can even catch a glimpse of Singer Castle

Windy!

Nice beach ⛱

Nice place for family picnic

(Translated) Very well maintained (Original) Très bien entretenue

I love this beach, it’s near my house in Brockville. Used to go there with my kids. It was safe and had a sloping way down to the beach. Once in the water the sand was soft and there were almost no weeds. I do believe that there was a canteen there. I highly recommend this place for family fun. ✌️&❤️4eva.

(Translated) Superb place (Original) Superbe endroit

Ok,Park

Great place to have a bbq and go for a dip! Very clean and spacious and not covid crowded either.

(Translated) Beautiful clean beach. (Original) Belle plage propre.

Such a lovely sandy beach!

Nice area for families

Very nice

Beautiful day away

Nice little swiming hole in the thousand islands. Parking for the dsy is 19.00 but after 5 pm its 7.00 t

A private park, great for a bbq along the river, bathrooms, picknic tables, water, can be windy.

Very nice

Park is 5 star but entrance is very expensive

Great view

It beautiful

Decent beach in a great area. Parking costs 7.50 per car

Clean , spacious with a wonderful beach.

(Translated) Beautiful lakeside for children especially where they can swim safely (despite the lack of lifeguards) and play ... yes also for the barbecue under the shadow of the giant trees ....

Very nice... so relaxing

Good stop

(Translated) Wonderful place for a picnic with family and friends (Original) Magnifique lieu pour un picnic en famille et amis

15$ day access is very expensive for a beach this size, it's very small and get packed very fast. It's not well maintained too, not very clean, I would not recommend going there for the beach

This is a nice park on the bay of 1000 Island. The bay water is cold but nice if the sun is out. I go there every year.

Fantastic little park to stop by in if you’re in the area with lots of (well distanced) seating, all with nice views of the river and islands. Also a few beaches and barbecue areas. I cycled so didn’t have to pay anything, but I think cars have to pay for parking

(Translated) Not a campground / no campground! (Original) Pas un camping / no campground!

Fantastic. Excellent picnic and day site by the river.

Loved it although e.coli alert in water!

So peaceful and relaxing.

We used to go there at least one time every summer (from Gatineau) but this year we had a surprise when we arrived... No dogs allowed anymore on the site! 1 hour and 30 minutes of driving with our dog and new born for nothing.

(Translated) Motorcycle stop on the quay .. very well located .. peaceful ..

Very good family picnic park. Beautiful view. River water was clean. Washroom facilities were clean. Though parking is 19$ per car for family.

$7.50 per adult, price is worth it for warm clean water, had a great day with the kids

Beautiful beach with plenty of room to distance

Website said they would be open as of May 22. Drove all the way from Smiths Falls on MAY 22 at 1pm and the gates were still locked. Whole family was very disappointed.

At this park there are several picnic tables, 3-4 main beaches and lots of open area with tree coverage. There is a large play structure next to the washrooms. The washrooms has showers/ bath cleaning area. The water area has sections that are sea-weed free and roped off accordingly. There is a no fire pit or fires law. However there are bbq stand pits and you can always bring your own portable bbq. No active bugs due to the wind but there are birds (seagulls)that will eat your unfinished food. No lifeguards at anytime. I have visited this park 6 times so far and will return in the future.

Find you patch of heaven

What a beautiful place. Wonderful family fun place. Awesome water view

Great place to spend the day, although it's crowded during the busy season so I avoid it on weekends during summer break

Beautiful provincial park for a day of picnicking and sunbathing.

Water is beautiful and there are no weeds in the beach area and even a bit past the swimming lines.

Nice park but not one of my favorites

Nice picnic area, nice beach, a little rocky on the shoreline but it gets better after. Water access for bathrooms and dishes.

(Translated) tiny beach full of natural trash. $ 17.50 per car to enter is too expensive. However, it is the closest beach to Kingston eastbound. update: The range is usually much longer and wider. However, Lake Ontario would be 4 or 5 feet higher than normal this year.

Clean beach, but as there is only one place for washroom, the washroom floor gets really dirty. Lots of parking. Overall, beautiful place to spend some quality time with your family.

Excellent place free the bbq

(Translated) It's good :) (Original) C'est bien :)

Amazing place to go swimming and lots of shade.

It's a great place to visit with family and friends beautiful lake scenery

Great place for a weekend family picnic with young children.

On the way to Montreal from Toronto, stay in this beautiful park for a while.

Very nice ????.

We went from Ottawa at the weekend based on reviews of nice beach. Paid 20 dolars per family. There was almost no beach. Basically a large picnic area. Some parts were very crowded but some areas were nice. I could not understand why did we pay 20 dollars. Definitely does not worth the journey from Ottawa and does not worth entrance fee at the weekend. Entrance fee is around 7.5 dollar during the week.

Clean and chill for a pinic whit the famaly

(Translated) Quiet on weekdays, beautiful clear water, park very clean. $ 7 really invested! (Original) Tranquille en semaine, magnifique eau claire, parc tres propre. 7$ vraiment bien investi!

(Translated) Very nice place. Beautifully landscaped beach. (Original) Très joli endroit. Plage joliment aménagée.

Good park, but the washroom are really far for people in wheelchair or people with difficulty walking.

Great place to watch the stars, quiet, great for bbq's and clean

Very calm and peaceful place. Perfect with friends or that special someone. Good place for proposals.

Nice park, picnic area and beach.

Beautiful park and beach

Amazing beach... Huge clean and quiet! Perfect place for family and big group outing.. My favourite park

Great place with great service. A must go place.

Beautiful park. Grounds very grassy and well maintained, beach clean and sandy, water warm and shallow (for quite a distance), park staff friendly, lots of parking. What's not to like?

(Translated) like (Original)

Amazing scenery

Amazing picnic spot and nice trails

Busy

Very dirty with dog poop... 7.5$ for that is really deceptive.

The place itself is lovely but it’s poorly managed. I ended up buying a season pass to which they didn’t tell me that they’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays (literally 2/7of the summer) after I’d come, driven all the way there, and they told me they’re at capacity so I couldn’t go in. They have a phone number but their phone never gets answered. It is so not worth it and the next time I go if there’s one more issue I’m asking for a refund for my season pass and I’m never going back to this place unless they get their act together. It’s backhanded and deceitful to say here’s a season pass, we will take your money but you can’t use the park. It is also not very clean there are cans and garbage floating in the water and on the grass constantly. I would expect a place that charges such a high admission and a season fee as well to be a lot cleaner than it actually is.

Great road stop. Beach, park, playground, toilets.

Pretty nice beach. Definitely one of the rockier/weedy beaches in the area, and when we went, the bacteria levels were high - but pretty views and it’s nice to watch the boats go by. Got a little annoyed after a little while with all the random flies. Pretty sure I got bit more than a few times. Washrooms and change area was alright. Got told to please wait while someone was cleaning the ladies washroom, but they forgot to stock the toilet paper. Literally one stall had toilet paper…

Great

Excellent sandy beach on the scenic St. Lawrence river.

Awesome views of St. Lawrence

Prices have gone way up and now after 12 years I am no longer allowed to bring my dogs. What the hell is up with that. The geese poop more than any dog that has been there and I always clean up after mine! So disappointed! I will never go back!

I haven't been there since, well almost 40 years ,miss it one day hopefully

I had a nice time here

Went at least 5 times and was never busy. The beaches are not that wide, but lots of green. Bathrooms are clean and they have showers.

Kids love going, solid beach, snack shack isn't open much so bring snacks and drinks.

Nice beach, not too busy. Did not see the campgrounds.

Extremely dumb staff, told us no reservations for the gazebo when we wanted to reserve. We arrive on D-day and we are told that reservation in mandatory. Now we have over 50 people coming and no proper place to sit them due to their high incompetence.

Very good

Very dirty washrooms.. no change rooms.. there is bacteria warning for water, not very ideal

The sand was lovely to stick my feet in the water!! I needed some calming and this place did the trick!

What a beauty

Very clean beach. Friendly staff.

Very nice and clean.

Great beach but overcrowded and opens late. There are other issues with being judged as I could tell a few of the muslim men did not approve of my standard North American bathing suit. Too bad and good thing I do not gwt uncomfortable with judgements.

(Translated) I like this place very much because it is suitable for families and my children have fun when we go here and I advise everyone to visit this place (Original)

The only place to be on a hot day. Good swimming with sand bottom. Nice Beach area but best of all lots of big mature shade trees to sit under with a breeze coming off the scenic St. Lawrence river. A view of some of the thousand islands as well.

Nice place for swimming

- $19 for parking cost seems a bit high + Beautiful place -- Washrooms are filthy

Good

(Translated) Hello, my partner and I went to Brown's Bay beach on July 8.9 and 10, 2020. The water is clear, it's incredible, you can always see the bottom. The water was refreshing and the water slowly gets deep so we walk a long way. There are a lot of trees so shade is great. Wednesday, July 8, there were a lot of stools of Canada geese, we had to constantly look on the ground when we were walking but there were a lot less on Thursday 9 and Friday 10, so the stools had to be collected which is very good because it was so exaggerated this Wednesday. The negative, the most disturbing point is the condition of the picnic tables. They are disgusting. The top of wooden tables and wooden benches are very very dirty, small lichen, bird stools, food, dirt from the air etc. They should be sanded and some varnish applied and washed regularly. Also on Friday July 10, 2020 there was a seadoo dragging a blown mattress, where 3 people were seated, and the guy was doing tricks on this group of people. The guy was driving too fast and too close to the people who were bathing. The blown mattress and even the seadoo itself could, if it deviated a little, hit people who were simply bathing. And besides he was doing giddy maneuvers to water his world and he could have hit them with a bad maneuver. They stopped after about an hour and an hour later a police boat came over and they talked to a guy in the group. Another hour later, the guy started throwing mattresses on his gang again. He drove a little less close to bathers. But the noise of the seadoo which rolled very quickly was very inconvenient for people who wanted to relax on the beach and it lasted another good hour. Pity. Dommage.

Amazing park for a picnic or barbecue. Water is very clean if you plan go take a swim in the St.Lawrence river

Loved it

beautiful beach

Good and nice park for swinging and barbeque.

Be advised that there are no dogs allowed in the park anymore.

(Translated) Nice view! (Original) Belle vue!

Hidden spot where you dont see much crowd. BUt, you do run into a lot of mosquitoes. If the mosquitoes do not bother you, it is a fun and relaxing place to enjoy the weekend.

Good place to rest.

(Translated) Nice place to rest and have a picnic with family or friends.

Nice place for swimming and picnic , but they charge $19 per car.

a must see park. nice receptionist

Small beach. Good for family picnic Parking charges are 19 dollars

Beautiful beach

Beautiful beach, very clean. Has bathrooms and showers. And seats that you can sun bath. The water is clear with I love and has waves. The view is stunning and in a quiet area in Mallorytown. Not crowded at all. The onky thing was the $20 parking fee which I thought was too much

The music playing at this park is so loud that people should not be here. It is not enjoyable nor healthy for children and adults let alone the residents in the area.

(Translated) Should stand here for a short time without charge (Original) Durften hier kurz stehen ohne Gebühr

It is very good and nice place..... quite and very good for family vacation....thank you

Nicely

Great park. Beautiful clear water and sandy bottom. But it is overpopulated on the weekends, the entrance fee is close to 20$. Its better to come on Monday to Friday.

It's a nice place to go and swim, has lots of picnic beaches and clean change rooms and washroom ????.....

Big area to play with the kids and do BBQ place to swim as well.

(Translated) the water was beautiful but, that day there was too much duck poop everywhere and the smell very strong when it was hot.

Nice view less crowd.....

Beautiful views. Kids had fun! Found itstrange that they dont honour the free provincial parks enteNce for canada 150 as other provincial parks are. 750 to park.

Bridge is still not connected to the long loop. Disappointing considering its been open for over a week.

Fantastic place

The place is nice so are the amenities, the price went up 30% to almost $20

Beautiful place to be especially around July 16th when they have vincy picnic come out and experience the mix of Caribbean culture food and wonderful music. Grenada lucia etc we all come together and have fun

Nice clean beach. benches were pretty dirty and the restrooms were full of moths.

Very nice beach, clean and spacious. It is usually a bit crowded in the weekend during the season, so it is better to arrive there early. Very big parking lot. Due to COVID-19, the playground is closed and access to washrooms requires masks. Pay is by car at the entrance, it is about $15 per car for the whole day. We were asked to leave before 8:00pm which might be early for some. Highly recommend.

It was full but beautiful

(Translated) Super10 (Original) Super10

(Translated) Very nice place beautiful site worth a visit (Original) Très belle endroit beau site vaut le détour

Nice place

Great beach area...soft light brown sand all the way out (and past) swim boundary rope. Beach was clean with very few rocks. Lots of big trees in grass area for those who prefer shade. Clean washrooms. Parking lot is close to beach. Not busy! Very positive experience all around.

great place to swim, have a picnic, relax on the beach, beach volleyball.

Lived it

I love this beach. The water is cool, clean and clear. There is a roped off area to swim in. The only downfall is that you swim at your own risk. There are no life guards.

Great place for a day stop on the St. Lawrence. Plenty of picnic tables (socially distanced) under large trees for shade.

Very nice park

It is literally the nicest beach I've ever been to. It's so clear you can see your toes and watch minnows swimming by.

It was relaxing

Excellent park with good facilities and a sandy area for swimming and the kids to play. Highly recommended for families with kids

Alex one of the park employees refused to help take picnic tables out of the water(and then lied and said he didn't say what he did to the park manger) and watched an elderly couple take them out well he was driving around in the golf cart thing(because they didn't have enough staff), for the price you pay to get in you would think at least they would help. Also NO where on their website say no dogs, and they are refusing to allow entrance. So now wasted 3 hrs of driving!! WILl NOT BE BACK because Disrespectful employees

(Translated) Nice place to spend an afternoon, but a bit far so you have to leave Montreal early (Original) Bel endroit pour passer un après-midi, mais un peu loin donc il faut partir tôt de Montréal

Went today because I've heard great things about this beach....we were beyond disappointed ???? There's currently no beach as it's under water...currently the water is 3 feet deeper than normal and the geese population is overgrown here and the poop everywhere is beyond disgusting. We literally stayed long enough for lunch as we had a diabetic child with us who needed to eat. When we left I mentioned to the staff that perhaps they should put a notice on their website about the non existent beach and the geese and they didn't seem to care. Glad I only paid 7.50 and not 20.00 Don't know if I'll ever go back as it's an 1 hour drive from Barrhaven and I was seriously disappointed as to why they wouldn't tell people on their website about the water being higher and the geese problem.

Great spot

I live in the Village of Mallorytown about 5 minutes away. Our Goverment should be ashamed of this national treasure. It is unkept and not inviting in any way. The cost to enter is absolutely absurd. Mallorytown Landing a couple minutes west is no better.

A beautiful beach. Lots of people. Some even came by boat. I think they ould use some more picnic tables and some benches. Great to see people having fun!
