It wasn't nearly as scenic as I was led to believe. The beach looks awful.

Great place to bring kids, go on a date or have photoshoot. It's absolutely beautiful out at cranberry. I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't visited before. The way the valley opens up to reveal a beautiful sunset is often breathtaking. 5/5

Not far south of Saskatoon you'll find the cranberry flats conservation area. It's an amazing series of paths along the South Saskatchewan River. Parts of the path are a classic boardwalk and the rest are etched out in the landscape. A highly recommended outing

The hike isn't too much of a hike and is actually really calm and beautiful. We had a picnic just off the trail and were able to eat surrounded by nature.

khaled zoroufchi benis

Beautiful Fall of Saskatchewan

Naz Haghighi

It’s a fantastic place for a walk in nature and also walk your dog. I highly recommend you to be there before the sunset. There is a bench there, that you can sit on and enjoy the sunset and sip your coffee. Such a peaceful place.

Lauren Jarvis

I have lived in Saskatoon most of my life and yet this week was the first time going for a walk around the trails. It’s amazing and the views are spectacular. Definitely my new favourite spot to take the dogs.

Praveen Sapkota

kamran shekh

One of the best spots to go for a quick hike. Different trails to choose from and ample of space to explore.

Anirban Chaudhury

Beautiful trails. Dogs are not allowed off leash. We could pick up some raspberry unexpectedly. Some saskatoon berries too.

Cody Sharpe

Several kilometers of trails and fantastic vistas. You can have your picnic on a viewing platform above the river and watch the birds. Quick drive outside Saskatoon, go take a look!

Leland Guillemin (Lee)

Excellent place to take a young family. The first 2km of path is very easy to navigate and isn't in the trees where mosquitoes will feast upon you. There are great bike trails, and plenty of wildlife to see. A great spot if you're into bird watching. Pick a day with a slight breeze and bugs will seem non-existent unless you go into the bush. It starts to get busy around 1030-1100 but it's so wide open that business isn't an issue.

Michael Timmerman

Great place for a nice walk or short hike. Lots to see, sandy shoals, foot hills, wildlife and various plants and flowers. It's a short hike to the river for a little fishing or take a stroll by the river side. I will definitely come back as I only spent a couple hours here and barley seen even a fraction of the area.

Ian Roach

Peaceful. Great place to escape the city.

Jerry Gedir

Great cycling destination. Awesome view of S. Saskatchewan River Valley.

Darek Surmanowicz

Lots of beautiful nature without crowds.

Garnet Richards

It's fine for hiking but no cross country ski trails.

Adam Bloom

Great short hike, but watch out for ticks in early summer.

Lauren Kovarsky

A gorgeous place to take a walk.

Ezekiel Joshua Frotzner

breath taking view

Haihong Wang

A beautiful place outside of Saskatoon, We visited there in Aug. 2004.

Kyle White

Fantastic trails! We like to hike around the hills and then the perimeter. Great trail with kids.

Kristen Schmidt

Love coming here to soak up the sunshine and fresh air while watching the river flow. When someone says to think of your happy place, my mind immediately goes to Cranberry Flats.

Cassie Seppala

Such a beautiful place near Saskatoon for an afternoon 'hike'! Make sure you stay on the actual trails or else you may end up accidentally stumbling across 'the' beach as we did. Super gorgeous colors and landscape in July anyways!

L Scher

20 minutes South of Saskatoon. Beautiful trails and there is a little place to throw some towels down and dip your feet in the river. Very dangerous current and it is not safe to swim in the river.

Raihanah Safi

I have very good time

Colette Peters

What the map showed you'd see and what you actually saw was disappointing.. rest stop missing, pump house broken, washrooms disgusting, lookout offered nice view, boardwalk down to the river did not go all the way down.

Chelsea D

Cute little walk. Easy-moderate terrain. Path to river, however keep in mind the sandbar is slightly different every year.

Maleka Mohammad

Great place to go hiking

Paul Daoust

Very nice hiking and view of the Saskatoon River

Sylvia Sunshine
