Great little conservation area on the Moira River. Lots of walking trails and picnic spots. Nice little waterfall on the river to check out.

The park is very beautiful with easy to medium terrain in the winter. The biggest problem is that the trails really aren’t marked at all. When I read this in a review, I thought, how bad can it be? Well, it was pretty bad. Thankfully, we made some okay guesses after a few wrong turns, then asked the right person for directions. Thank you, sir and madam, for the very detailed descriptions. We found our way back no problem and even ended up completing the hike we set out to do. So, I do recommend these trails, but would suggest you go earlier in the day so you’re not caught out after dark.

Very pretty area. If you want to see a lot of rapids you'll probably want to go in the spring. The water was low when I went today but it was still really nice. Best of all it was free.

MJC Piano

Very nice conservation area. There's an easy road trail and off road dirt/gravel trails, that are more up and downhill. Good for a hike or a run. The river and rapids area is very scenic. There are some good picnic areas.

Josh Tischart

Beautiful trails and clean. Family had an amazing time in our walk! Definitely going back.

Andrew Foster

Have been here camping several times in the past with cadets and always loved the scenery and trails. Had the chance to go up for a couple hours this afternoon, and am quite thankful I did. Had a great tine walking along in the water, and saw (and caught) several watersnakes and dozens of frogs. Theres plenty of wildlife in the area which is nice, and the views are pretty. Highly recommend

Quiet calm, smells beautiful Lovely spots on the water and interesting climbs up or down hills Very zen Enjoy your day friend ????????

Chris Fitz-Gerald

Beautiful forested walk to a wonderful area of the river with shallow cascading waterfalls. The water depth ranges from a few inches to 2 feet, so it is perfect for toddlers to adults. Warm, slowly moving water across flat rock formations, make it easy and fun to wade around.

Janusz Roginski

I liked the rapids and little waterfalls created by them. Nice place to spend some time with the whole family.

Chris “Sirhc” Perry

Great place for a visit. Beautiful place to wade out into the river and enjoy the mini rapids. Was very quiet during the day we went and wonderful for an afternoon of exploring!

Nick Fedele

FANTASTIC! I have been to most of the conservation areas around Belleville and this place is the best one in my opinion. Good 6k loop, trails are well maintained. I will make this a regular stop. As others mentioned the trails are poorly marked but not overly complicated to navigate.

Shon De Fry

Love this place. Great walks. Amazing views. The main trail is paved, so it's (quite) accessible friendly. There are more difficult forest trails, depending on season, could get really buggy.

Loretta Samworth

Beautiful spot! Gorgeous time of year to visit with the fall colours coming out. Great to visit during the week, not too many people!

Kirsten Eberhardt

Beautiful place to take the dogs for a walk, and a nice swim in the shallow waterfalls

Sharanya Tan

Long monotonous walk but you get stunning views at the end

Elie Ashton

Well kept trails, beautiful river along a side of the trail. Rugged "fairy" trail branches off of the main trail. Overall, excellent place to go for either a short, or long hike, trails are clearly marked & 3 different trail options! (Long, medium &short!)

Elizabeth Layton

Waterfall is amazing. Fun to play in. Take the gravel roadway on the right to get there. The hiking trails are nice. We were followed by a very sweet little nut hatch. Bring bird seed as these will hand feed.

Naveen Mathew

Different landscapes, very refreshing hiking experiences

Theresa Dunkley-Verhage

Beautiful spot for a vibrant Thanksgiving Sunday nature walk with the kids. The weather was perfect and we saw lots of life around us... chipmunks, blue Jays, leopard frogs, wooly bear caterpillars (with small hitchhikers on them...fleas maybe), and our son even spotted a water snake in a pond near the river.

Christine Gillen

This was quite a long hike. We did get confused at the end of the map,but had an app and ended us hiking up the road till we hit the red trail again about 8km. Lots of up and downs
