So this evening My son and I were going to order for the second time from this place between 748-7:59 pm, at the cash window I was about to pay and realized only one of my orders was there and when I asked for the other the young woman at the cash informed me I only ordered one order. I actually ordered two but to be fair I can accept a misunderstanding or miss communication via the drive through com however to get attitude and refusal of the second order with a HUNGREY KID in the car I said no thank you and drove away. This is unfortunate because we really enjoy the food and our first trip there. based on this we and many others will not be returning and with employees like that it is an easy pass, miss communications miss understandings I can accept without any complaints but to get attitude like it was my fault and refusal of the other order.... no thanks

I ordered 5 pieces spicy chicken wings and 5 pieces tenders today for take out. The chicken wings are stinks. It must be stored in a wrong way. You cannot sell such thing to your loyal customers! That will ruin your business!!

Stopped at Popeyes in Belleville yesterday, to try the Classic Chicken sandwich because of the TV advertising and was pleasantly surprised as to how juicy and tasty it was. I tried their Louisiana Hot Sauce on it and it was a great bit of additional flavour.

I've been to other Popeyes like Kingston and Toronto. I ordered couple of times when it first opened and it's one of the worst chicken I had. It was way too salty and didn't feel as fresh.

Great chicken. Large pieces, very juicy. Service can be slow. Pet peave, is of you want another sauce, they charge another 35 cents, really? Other fast food places don't charge. I find it a money grab, plus one doesn't go far enough. Didn't think the layout well, most of the tables are affected by the cold air rushing through the doors. Doesn't make for a good eating experience.

The lady that took our order could barely speak English and it took us forever just to place our order because we had no idea what she was saying after just agreeing with her because we didn't know what she was saying when we asked for plum sauce we ended up with a spicy bbq.

I went here today for the first time and will be the last! I didn't mind waiting in drive thru for 20+ minutes but drive 5 minutes directly home and had to put everything in oven as it was all pretty much cold! Fries were limp and yechy! Chicken looked like it had been reheated! This is awful for the price they want!

I found myself craving Popeyes today and said "wife! Let's get popeyes! It cant be any worse than last time." Boy did they sure prove me wrong. The soda, to start, was extra watered down today compared to just the usual watered down soda they offer. The fries were cold and wet. Not greasy, wet, and I did not take them far at all. Chicken was hit and miss, some were breaded awesome and hot, others were cold, greasy and missing most breading. Needless to say, I enjoyed eating my words while the wife made fun of me being wrong yet again.

Went to Popeye’s at 8:30pm. Waited 15 minutes in the drive thru with 2 people ahead of us. Waited another 8 at the speaker and then finally decide to drive up to the window. The girl working said they decided close at 8 instead of 9 (even though they held the two people ahead of us?). No sign and never answered the intercom. Hopefully they told the two cars behind us....

Sorry guys but this is my third visit and the third time I have waited almost 20 minutes. Not acceptable in my opinion. I have even ordered different items to see if that would make a difference, but nope, didn't matter. Not only that, my order today was chicken tenders and although they were hot (because I had to wait for them) the fries were less than room temperature. Unless you have lots of time to spare, don't think of Popeye's as fast food.

Inside was nice, modern and relatively clean. Staff was friendly. The food was a different story though. The onion rings were soggy. The chicken tenders were tasteless and greasy, but had a decently crispy batter to it. The Cajun fries were okay but nothing special. Probably won't be coming back.

Atmosphere is really nice, like the food. I love having halal Popeyes in my city and I really like everything. The only thing I would want is that when we wait for our food at the drive through, could you make maybe a sign that says where to park. For example, some fast food joints tell you " You can park at 1 " If your order is long so I think you should also make that. It would be easier for the customers and for the workers to know whos order is in which place.

Order was wrong, asked for cajun mashed potatoes and got fries anyway, asked for different sauces and did not get what I asked for, the fries were soggy limp and partially cooked. The only thing they got right? No ice in my drink. Thisbis the third time eating here, third let down. I woke up one day craving some crispy chicken. Consequently, I went on google and looked up what establishments near me could provide me with this product. Upon revision of my options I decided (regrettably) to go to my local Popeyes. I arrived at the location was immediately greeted by a lot of brownies. "Don't know what's up with that." Sub-par food and HORRIBLE customer service! Went in and ordered some nuggets and tenders shortly after 1:00pm. We waited over half an hour while they served the cars in the drive thru. I then went up to the counter to tell them that if our order wasn't ready for us to leave with right now that we needed a refund (we had an hour long drive and needed to be home when the kids get back from school) The cashier turned her back to me and started putting together the guy who came in and ordered after us' food. My hubby then came up to the till where I was and told them that we wanted a refund because we had to go and they turned their backs to us and VERY SLOWLY started putting our order together (it took almost 10 more minutes for them to put our ALREADY COOKED food into the boxes and hand it over the counter to us. The only one that made ANY effort to apologize for the wait was the guy that looked like a new guy (he was cleaning the tables when we came in) Because our food took so long, and we were riding a motorcycle, we didn't have time to eat until we got home, only to find that the nuggets were undercooked (one actually looked raw inside) We've never had an issue at any other Popeyes in the past, but this particular location I would avoid at all cost.

Spent 40 minutes in drive thru today only to get to the window and be told that it will be an additional 8 minutes for my chicken order... what did I order? A 3-piece chicken combo and a butterfly shrimp combo! UNBELIEVABLE! So total time to get 2 combos, 52 minutes... idling (because I was traveling with kids and pet). At least offer an exit strategy from the drive thru if people decide they are done waiting. Popeyes for dinner? No thanks!

Went here over an hour before closing, they wouldn't cook tenders, popcorn chicken, or anything for that matter for a friend that can only eat boneless chicken. Explained our situation and was told they were not going to cook. Would only serve what they already had sitting. (Lord knows how long its been there, then it sitting for the hour longer). Would hope to see a little more professionalism displayed if I ever do return.

I'm obsessed with the flavour and crispiness of their batter. The cajun chicken sandwich is fantastic, the spicy chicken strips are my favourite (not too spicy, imo) and the popcorn shrimp are delicious. The fries have great seasoning and the rice and beans are pretty good but I have to add some kick to them otherwise they're too bland. I would have ranked Popeye's a 5☆ but they are very inconsistent in how they serve platter sides to go. Also if the chicken strips have been sitting for too long they are difficult to bite through even though they're still tasty.

We placed an order after calling to ask if they deliver and being told that they do. After placing the order, we were told it would be about 40-45 minutes. At the 1h15min mark, I tried calling the restaurant to find out what was going on. I called repeatedly and the phone was never picked up - it just kept on ringing. I literally called 11 times with no answer. At the 1h30min mark, the delivery driver called me because they couldn't find my house - turns out the restauraunt sent them to the wrong street altogether, on the complete opposite side of town. Despite me spelling out my address for them on the phone. Waited over an 1h45 mins for food that was ok at best. It also turns out that the restaurant does NOT have delivery like they said- they deliver through a third party. If i had known that, i would have just gone through Skip the Dishes instead of trying to go directly through the restaurant. Brutal.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about in regards to this location being dirty/poor service. I've never had a problem with my order both when ordering in the store and using Uber eats for deliver from this location! I also think this location is really clean inside compared to others I've been to. As far as the food goes, I think Popeyes fried chicken is the best when it comes to fast food options. The chicken is always cooked well, skin is crispy and it's consistently good. The sides are just OK, but I'm not really in it for the sides anyway.

My expectations were a little high for this place, the first thing I tried was the deep fried shrimp and was disapointed, too much breading, but I usually get deep fried shrimp from Captain Georges and it is pretty hard to top thier shrimp. I did recently discover they have a good chicken sandwich, similar to the Mary Browns chicken sandwitch from the '80s

As soon as the chicken was put in the car we could smell fish. My son asked his dad if we were having fish and was disappointed because he didn't believe it was chicken! We got home and it all smells and tasted like fish. We will never be back. Thankful that Noone in my household of 7 is allergic to fish or seafood. They are going to kill someone by cooking the fish in the same oil as the chicken!!

Food is GREAT. Service when I was there on a Saturday was definitely lacking. Servers need to be friendlier and cooks need to be better prepared with product on a Saturday at dinner time. Took far too long to have my order filled. The food was fantastic ...so that is the most important thing!

Showed up at 20 mins before their advertised closing time of 10pm but they claimed they close at 9pm yet both signs at drive through and and lobby door state 10pm. Maybe they should update signs and information on Google so people aren't driving to a restaurant that is closed.

Went and ordered 2 of the tender combos, an 8 piece chicken meal and a couple orders of the popcorn shrimp. By far the best tasting fried chicken we've ever had. Staff is very friendly, extremely fast compared to "Belleville" standards and is quite welcoming. Definitely will go again.

First and last! Way too much Chicken cooked ahead. Chicken sat there in the open air for more than 1/2 hour while I was in the restaurant. My chicken sandwich was cold. Don’t want to know how long the breast was sitting there before it was served to me. The Mac and cheese side was overcooked and the pasta was slimy. Only thing good was the price.

Love the taste of popeye's however, this facility has extremely bad customer service, attention to details, a very messy store and the pop machine every single time served flavored water not pop, I had a very nice root beer flavored water today. I have been there 3 times since it opened and every single time when I got home with my food the order was filled wrong. today I ordered the fish and shrimp platter with onion rings and coleslaw. I got one piece of fish just slightly larger than the ten tiny pieces of shrimp, as well I did not get the coleslaw with the meal. It is really to bad that the staff can't live up to the products reputation. unfortunately, even though I love popeye's I will never go back to this store again.

Came here 20x... BUT the 20th time will be my last at this location! The cook must have been hungover.. he TRIPLED SALTED the NUGGETS... unchewable.. i threw it out after 2 bites and got food else where. I was devasted. When i say he over salted ..that is an understatement.... he makes macdonalds fries taste SALT FREE ...that is how badly he messed up my last order.

I also asked for no ice in either drinks and there was ice in both. 2nd time and last time we have went to this restaurant since it has been open. This visit was over a week ago, but I"m just writing this review now because it still burns me........Here's my experience....Specials could not be redeemed without a coupon? Had to go online on my phone with a line up behind me, to redeem a coupon. Then, could not use another coupon (Only one coupon per visit). After giving up cause I felt bad for the people waiting behind me, I proceeded to order and pay for the chicken. Our order came to $87 and I gave the attendant a $100 bill and it was rejected because they don't accept $100 bills?.. The order was almost $100?... Brown Bills matter.. $100 bills are still legal tender in Canada last time I checked?.... and with a hologram, I don't think there are too many counter fit operations printing them?.. but if you are, don't try to cash em in to Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen.. at least not the one on Bell blvd. Left a one star cause the only thing good about the visit was the chicken was still ok... If you want to try really good chicken, bring your $100 bills to Golden Chicken in Trenton. Better prices, Better chicken, and better staff

Totally loved the chicken strip with coleslaw onion wings barbecue sauce muffin!!!! Onion wings needed to cook a bit more and my husband's flounder burger and fries were excellent!

Pulled into drive thru around 9pm, left drive thru at 9:27pm. Not because of a line. I was the only one there. Because she took my order, in between talking with the other workers. They didn’t have the side I wanted, not a huge deal, I ordered fries instead. Asked for an extra biscuit. Pulled up to the window, paid for my order, and was THEN told it would be a 14min wait for chicken. Ok… would have been nice to know prior to paying but I’ll wait. I waited. I waited 14 minutes, still no meal. I waited until 9:27 for my meal. A 3pc platter with fries and Mac n cheese, and an extra biscuit. I received no fries. I got a side of gravy and Mac n cheese. I got no extra biscuit. And I am frankly beyond annoyed with the service provided this evening by your employees.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is I've had good experiences here in the past. This time however, we waiting in the drive thru for 10+ minutes just to have rude service, half an order, no fork and food that was meh at best.

I have been to many Popeyes in Ontario and the chicken was very nice but in this place on my first visit the chicken was dried out. Not good at all.

Haven't had Popeye's in years, and could only find it in Toronto. So good to have it here and the taste Is still just as good. Had it for lunch and I'm going to buy more for dinner

The food is better than the first time we ordered, but the last time they forgot our gravy and it takes forever for them to ans the phone, after 10 rings it hangs up on you, i think they need another phone line .

Popped into Popeye's for some fried chicken. This Popeye's restaurant was ok with its service and food. The rice beans were too watery and I would have preferred the rice to have been more drained of water. The spicy chicken tasted as I expected it to be. If you like my reviews, photos or videos raise your wing up high.

Sign said due to current situations wait times may be longer. When we got there in drive through 1 lady ahead of us and nobody was inside. Waited 15 minutes just to order. Had to repeat our order of a 3 piece meal 3 times. This isn’t the first time the service is horrible. Wait times are so long. If this wasn’t for my mom I would not have stayed and waited for it. The only thing good here is the biscuits. Maybe start by improving your customer service.

The chicken was raw bloody to bad I can't add the photo....that cook didn't even know how to cook.beter yet know when chicken is cooked so people before you eat mak sure it's cooked.you can get very ill
