Really nice park. Moderately busy with smaller kids at about 1pm on a school day. Has a lot for the kids to do including musical play area, the main park which is massive and a really nice splash pad. Both splash pad and park are gated. Would be great for a day trip/picnic.

I love stopping here eveytime I make a trip to Toronto or anywhere past that. Its great place for kids to run around after being stuck in a car. The park and splash pad is fenced so not to worry about kids running off. Public washrooms and a little place to order some food and snacks. Just wish that the little canteen to get snacks was open more hours.

It's got a splash pad and an area for skateboards, there's an area to buy treats and drinks like ice cream, fries and soda that sort of thing. Honestly it's a great place to bring your kids if you got kids. I'm usually wandering around looking for Pokemon in Pokemon go since there's a few poke stops and a gym there

Amazing, as this is a location that I'll be going back to with my daughter's plus if they would like to have friends join us. Great pizza location on site plus ice cream location. All area are faced in so if you have older children they can play without you stressed. A winner both ways

My son had tons of fun here! There needs to be more benches in the shade though, we had our grandmother with us and she wasn't able to sit and watch her great grandson play because the sun was too much for her.

Belleville, ON is beautiful to begin with but add a pirate ship, splash pad, picnic area and skate park and you've got yourself a perfect weekend getaway!!! The areas are clean, in good maintenance, very safe and family friendly. My 6 yr old met two little friends and played all afternoon. Despite the humidity, we managed to stay cool in some shady areas which are located inside all of the fenced in play areas and the kids kept cool in the water. I will definitely be bringing us back here!! Thank you Belleville!!!

Wow! This place is fantastic! I went here with my toddler today. The Pirate ship is not only enormous but it's also composed of several steps from different sides. It has stairs(10 steps to get on the ship), ladder, rope-based for climbing, bent steel with round plates, twisted steel from the ground connected to the ship, the tires attached to a plywood slightly slanted, and another steps that's composed of semi-circle rubber attached to a plywood. The bridges on both each sides are terrific bonus too! I mean, the design is marvelous already. You have a variety of choices for going onto the ship and down. The platform has multiple designs as well including a small portion of bridge. There are arches on one end while the other end has the pirate wheel that you can spin. The bottom of the ship has tic-tac-toe, abacus, and free space to run around. Children will definitely enjoy playing here. Even, I enjoy playing with my son. We tried everything in the ship. Lol. That's just the ship itself. Don't forget there is also a mini boat, sand table, dolphin and shark ride(I missed the other 1, there's 3 rides in total), the blue round spin, swings for different group age, and steel bench to sit. There are several bonuses by the way. Outside the Pirate Ship area, Across it is the Splash Pad(Perfect for such a hot day!), Musical area which has lots of musical equipment from drums to chimes, xylophone with metal book with notes written from few nursery rhyme songs, and others I'm not sure what you call them. I definitely enjoyed playing the xylophone following the notes. My son enjoyed it too playing the other instruments I can't name anymore. Meanwhile, another one is the Forest area with trail that we followed through until we got so tired and feeling hot that we need to leave after trying everything. In conclusion, this park has tons of space which is good for walking, biking, picnic, chilling in the sun, relaxing, let the kids run and play, and has 4 areas which you don't need to think of activities for the day if in case, you want to stay there the whole day. It's a complete package for the family. We are certainly coming back here another day for a day adventure. I read the sign, it says Rick Meager Park/Rotary. It also says Not allowed to stay when it's dusk. For the parking area, there are tons of space too, you won't run out. This will be on my list of go to for the Summer from now on. Every time we go here, the equipment is maintained, riverside beautiful and rarely garbage. There is a huge variety of equipment geared for ages 0 to adult (if you're like me) Onsite bathroom is shockingly clean (more so than some restaurants I have seen) and splashpad directly beside allows a parent to stand in between the two and observe the kid that doesn't want to get wet and the one that does simultaneously. Lots of shade and picnic area available.

The kids really liked this. Nice theme, the "echo pipes" either aren't connected or are plugged, but the kids still yell in them, "Can you hear me," and the other other says "Yes" :)

Great park. Love that it is fenced in completely. Only one way in and out. Splash pad right across the path which is also fenced in with one entrance and exit. Very clean. Kids had a great time. Right next to the water with what looked like a great walking trail. We will be back!

This is great place to bring the kids and family! It's completely enclosed only one gate to get in. There are washrooms...tho they are rarely open outside of summer . They also have a canteen to buy food. Mostly open in summer. The splash pad is absolutely great! My littles love coming here!!

What a gem!! Great playground, with a splash pad, decent trail to bike, rollerblade, ride a scooter or just stroll around with a nice river view. Plenty of picnic tables and excellent location! But wait it there is more to it... Yes there is also a very nice skate park few steps away from the park... Highly recommended!!

It has a big playground that's fenced off with only 2 gates. Parents can stand/sit in one spot and keep an eye on both gates. Also, the cool splash pad that is within a few steps of the playground.

Nice playground for children aged 2 -13. There is a large wooden structure representing a pirate ship. Great for climbing and games like hide and seek or tag. There is also a large climbing structure made of ropes and other smaller ship/water themed play structures. The whole playground is fenced in, so dogs are kept out. There is a splash pad nearby for hot days and a skate park for older teenagers. There are public washrooms just outside the playground. In the park there are also walking/cycling trails along the river. Great place for an afternoon outside with the kids.
