This was a pleasant surprise. We had some time to kill and decided to check out this mansion. The furniture is pretty much as impressive as the house. The ceilings in some of the rooms, and the staircase, are amazing. The stories about the family were interesting, as well as the exhibit on the maids that lived and worked there. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

I love Glanmore house the place is old but beautifully kept inside and outside I've only been inside once or twice but it's beautiful the employees do a great job. I hear it could be haunted and honestly i think a haunted glanmore tour around Halloween could be really fun and they could make a lot of money from it. So I'd give it a 5 star rating truly a beautiful place and worth a visit.

Very worthwhile historical tourist attraction - with a surprisingly large floor space of meticulously maintained original and replicated furnishings. If you like history and museums, you'll find yourself intrigued by the originality and intricate detail put into the historically accurate renovations. The staff is VERY knowledgeable about all aspects of the estate, from design and typical use of the many areas of the house for entertaining to architectural features. None of my questions (often relating to very specific aspects) were left unanswered. This is a hidden gem that took me by surprise, as I expected that there would be far less to experience considering only hearing about it in 2016.

Fun experience! Super interesting if you're into history and the little plaques give a lot of context. Bring a sweater because it's a little chilly. Staff are all very helpful.

Beautiful location. Stunning architecture and design, and the restoration is incredible. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the details, and were able to answer every question about the house, the history of it, and the restoration steps. Well worth a visit for people who enjoy this sort of attraction.

Went for International Museums Day Open House May 18th and thoroughly enjoyed seeing this historic home! Great staff explaining the history & gorgeous artifacts/heirlooms to see. Recommend a visit if you are interested in history & early 1900s design.

Educational tour of this mansion was good. I wasn't that interested in the history of the original owners, but it was good for contextualizing colonial life

Amazing place very historical and craftsmanship inside the house alone is worth the trip. The exhibits are always profesinaly displayed and very intriguing. fun for all ages and it really blew my kids away to not see any TV or games system for the kids in the house

I have been here several times during my life. Each and every time I enjoy it more than the time before. I see new things that I missed. The hoyse us amazing and it's a great thing to see and experience alone or with friends and family. I would recommend calling to confirm hours of operation.
