Zwicks park has been a favourite spot for family outings since I was a child. It is a wonderful place to take your kids to get them away from their tech and back into the real world. The large trees provide shade and the grassy areas are perfect for picnic lunches or even just to read a book. The wind off the bay provides a nice break from the heat while you are fishing or riding your bike. The playground is huge and well maintained. This is a great park to build memories with your family.

Say what you will about Belleville. Yes it’s a small town but it’s location more than makes up for it! What can be so bad when you’re right next door to Prince Edward County? ???? The area by the bridge is full of plentiful green space and waterfront. It’s very pleasant. ????????

This is a pretty big park and is also dog friendly. They can go off leash. I went for a morning walk and there were several dogs and their owners walking in the park. The surrounding area is picturesque too and there are some area where there nicely landscaped, making it a very nice place to exercise. The path is wide and the place is well maintained. I did not see any homeless people so I assume it is safe too.

Hands down one of my favorite trails to do in Belleville! Especially for cycling and at dusk! ???????????????????? This trail is smaller than some of the other ones around town but it's still gorgeous nonetheless and a decent ride and pretty big walk if you do the entire Zwicks trail. For light walkers or strollers I suggest starting with this side and if it's not enough then do the whole loop. This side is the opposite of the children's park so it's normally not as busy and more quiet, but it depends on the day and if anything is going on down there. There's also the dog park on this side but it's all fenced off and is only a fraction of it. During the winter the top of the main hill is one of us locals favorite spots to toboggan too! Overall for Belleville it's a perfect little park on both sides of Zwicks with a little bit of everything for everyone of all ages. If your visiting Belleville and want one in town I highly recommend this one and Riverside Park as well. Both have beautiful trails along the water and both have parks for the kiddos

It's a great place to take the family for a walk or even play at the playground. There is a dog park as well. In the winter you can enjoy the hill with the kids tobogganing for hours. It's not too steep. Often there are many things going on in the park, mostly in the summer months though.

LOVED IT! There was an animal exhibition when I was there, waded in the lake, bought a freezie and generally enjoyed the amazing atmosphere. A fair was also happening so that was fun. Really great place to have a picnic or just go sightseeing

The walkway that goes around the dog park is exactly 1 mile. 3 times over is 5km. You can go wayyy faster than me!

Need to give your dog some exercise then the dog park, next to the parking lot, is large and well maintained. Think it's the first dog park I've seen with two areas. One for big dogs and the other with a more compact area for small dogs. Neat idea.

Wonderful trail..must visit place in summer time! You can do hiking, cycling, kayaking, boating and even swimming in lake Ontario in some part!! Lots of nature with geese, ducks, seagulls, wide range of different spices birds !! And yeah there's allocated dog park,too :)

Has one of the best off leash dog park I've been to and that include several in Orange County, California I visited in 2015. It's large and tree covered whereas most are no more than an enclosed empty space with a bench or two thrown in.
