REVIEWS OF Bleasdell Boulder Conservation Area IN Belleville

I had corned beef sandwich and some fries for only $10, the sandwich was amazing; the bread was good and LOTS of corned beef!!!!!! The fries were a bit shaggy though, you may want to try their onion rings. The portion may look small from the picture(I took a baaad picture), but it was a lot of food.

Valerie Darsigny

Short trail to do with the family. It is an easy one as it is flat almost all the way.

Tyler Ledger

A great little spot for short to long walks. Small loop suitable for strollers tagged you past the bleasdale Boulder, a large glacial erratic left from the last ice age. Nice little spots with benches great from taking a break from walking. I bring my dog here all the time (on leash) and she loves it's.

Ry Smith

Great for a quick visit or a picnic especially if you are into odd geographic phenomena.

Dave Bailey

Get out of the house everyone.

Natasha Reid

Really awesome place, kids loved it. However was expecting to find at least one bathroom facility.

agnes maczynska

Nice short walk. Great for small kids. Trail is wide and roomy, you can pass people easily but really icy and slippery this January.

Robert Reid

Nice little Trail to walk if you're looking for something to do

Julia Keys

Beautiful hiking! The boulder is so cool.

Jennifer Abel

Such a beautiful place to walk! Gorgeous trails & scenery.

Andrew Foster

Not a huge area, but definitely a fun little hike. Hadnt been here before, and the boulder was a bit bigger than I'd expected. Came in the fall and got to enjoy the fall colors on the trees. Was a bit of a warm week so I even saw a couple of late season garter snakes. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

David Rempel

A fantastic trail system that is very well maintained. The boulder is awesome!

Ansara Narine

Amazing to see with the knowledge of the great journey that this rock took since the last ice age

Jessie Wakeling

Always a beautiful area. Trails are easy walking. Not too mucky right now, but it can be sometimes.

Julie Sweeney

Wide trail that allows for physical distancing. Amazing boulder to take fun photos in front of.

Shane Dich

Really nice small loop, with an option to follow the trail for another 2 or 3 km. Two really nice picturesque bridges over creeks for taking photos.

Asha Tarbett

as someone who lives fairly close to it I think it was pretty cool!

Cera Z

The oldest rock in Canada with 2.3 billion years old. Massive and impressive. And one of the largest boulder in North America. 6.5 m high, 13 m long. Moved 45 km by the glacier forces. Off the beaten path close to 401 and 5 min shaded easy hike from the parking. Good resting stop. Infested with gypsy moths, but well worth visit.

Dustin Hadley

It was a lot of fun should have brought a bit of climbing chalk :)

Lori Gill

Nice little stroll to see this incredible boulder

Arlene Vanvark

Great place to walk with kids or fur babies

M. Davis

Need to see it to believe it! Nice short walk in. Great information about the boulder. I would say accessable to everyone.

Nice wide even trails, great for the entire family including strollers.

LesbianCatGirl

Accessible for mobility scooters. A great opportunity for outdoors time if trails are typically difficult for you.

Travis Dupuis

Really nice escape into nature, great little 1 km loop, perfect for walks, nature observations or even jogging.

Dana Bromley

This is a great place for a walk with little ones. Fairly well maintained by gravel and not to long so little one's won't get tired out. Could be a learning experience as well.

Soney Matthews

A short nice walk ( about 1 km) through the well maintained path to see the 2.3 billion old rock ????..Bleasdell Boulder is one of the largest known glacial erratics in North America and it is estimated to be 2.3 billion years old.. Just amazing!!

Anthoni scardino

Great place to walk a dog ???? with lots of trails to pick from.

Brandon Bourgoin

Was a very nice walk tonight.

Valencia Bedard (V)

Gorgeous trails wind through cedar forests and mixed hardwood areas. You can choose the short loop (about 2km) or continue down to the Lower Trent Trail and walk for another half hour before turning back. The total walk to the end of the Lower Trent trail and back is about 1.5 hrs going at a moderate pace. There are several side trails that have since overgrown since I was there last, it's a shame that they aren't being maintained. The boulder is amazing to see in person. Truly a unique sight.

Marble Jaguar

Beautiful place to take a walk. Lots of birds can be seen. The trail is not long (1-2 km) but you can always walk the loop more than once or another path takes you out to the lower trent conservation trail which is very long.

Mike Hansen

Awesome walking trail with your dog

Amanda Keenan (Silverplate Press)

Great short hike for both little ones and adults. Also that boulder is really neat to see in person.

Eric Jacques (griffondude)

Not only is it a good place, it is also the most southern safe placemto park in prder to access the Lower Trent Trail.

Amy Finn

Nice walking trails. ????

Nancy Hollman

Still early spring, trails are well maintained. I'll be back in summer to get some more photos!

Connie Shaw

Loved the walk wide paths

Jacq b

Amazing. Worth the visit

Emma Kinloch

Fun 1 km 'hike' (walk) on a well maintained path. Path is wide a d smooth enough for a stroller, or wheelchair (might be a bit bumpy). Two small boardwalks - fun for small children. The boulder itself is impressive, and fun to look at, walk around. Some secondary trails branch off from the main path (not sure where they go - no listed on the map). Info board at the start of the trail, and at the boulder. Parking is a gravel lot, and not far from the trail head. Pet friendly - on leash. There is a rock snake with decorated rocks left by hikers. Bring a painted rock to continue the snake!

Daniel Barker

It was a great walk, very well maintained. I like that boulder, that is a nice boulder.

Kate F

Nice short walk, very easy trail. Rated 5 stars because its not usually busy, and I've always enjoyed my little walks here, there is a creek under the bridge which is nice but during the summer it dries out. Bring bird seed if you want to feed the birds. :)

Adam Deshane

Excellent poutine, full curds!! Super delicious

Matt Buie

Expected (after hearing it described by locals) a rock about the size of a Volkswagen. It was much more impressive than I imagined. My first impression was "That's the rockiest rock I've seen outside the Canadian Shield." It's a short walk (1.3 km/4000 ft) on maintained paths, and an enormous chunk of glacial history. Paint a small (10-15 cm/4-6") rock with a happy little design for the rock snake.

J Baker

Such a beautiful small trail, smells of wildflowers through the "swamp" and the biggest Boulder I've ever seen!

Rory Goulding

It's a short easy trail. Very pretty area.

Dovile Ruplenaite

Little relaxing walk with a huge stone!! Pretty cool!

Jennifer Lindsay

a beautiful space to walk and enjoy nature! an amazing boulder sits in the middle of the path.

Vaughan Sprague

Nice place to catch you're breath and enjoy the scenery.

M G

Great for seniors, young families, or anyone looking for a light hike with no inclines. The Boulder is amazing. It needs a name change imo.

Christine Gillen

Short hike nice place to walk a dog. Wide flat trails, huge boulder much larger then I expected.
