If you need a rental in the Belleville area, T.J at Budget/Avis is your man! I use Budget/Avis in Belleville roughly 3 times per week and I am yet to be disappointed. TJ is always present at the store ahead of time, the vehicle is cleaned and warmed up. They are flexible and friendly and I will never consider going anywhere else! If there is ever an issue of any kind, TJ is quick to correct the issue and make you feel valued. Bravo

The last time I rented a car I had a number of issues with my taxi and a rock chip hitting my window and the staff were extremely professional and helpful and made a stressful situation less so. We rented a vehicle during the month of August 2014, to go on a family vacation. I don't have a problem with returning the vehicle with the gas in the same amount as what I took it out as. I do wish that Avis would fill the tank up to full. Instead of renting it out to us at 3/4 full. It was returned the night before the clerk told us they didn't have a chance to clean it from the previous renter. I didn't fill the tank up to the 'exact' mark that the vehicle was taken out on. I had to go back to the gas station and put $7.00 more in the gas tank. So if the company Avis is going to make a fus (and they did make a fus) that we didn't quite fill the tank up the first time. Then I will comment on the fact that the vehicle was not cleaned before we rented it. If Avis is going to be so anal about the gas amount then the next time I rent from anywhere I will make a fus over the fact that my rental was not cleaned out nor the gas 'filled' up to the top. Then there would be not quilbling on anyone's minds.

terrible i rented a car for 11 days they told me 50$ a day and 30$ for insurance do the math 880$ plus tax should be 1050? roughly ?? NO came to 1650 they gave me car with 2/3 tank and i needed to return car before 2:00 or they would charge me for an extra day i rush there to return it and they told me its going to be 3$ a litre i was suppose to return the car on a sunday and they told me it was going to be 1080$ and my credit card limit is 1000$ i call on a sunday to explain that to them and to ask how much more it was going to be for an extra day they told me 1020$ !!! i save 60 for an extra day?? so the next day i call them to say im on way to bank and il be right there the "Manager" is working that day and is telling me my bill is now going to be 1350+++ i return car dirty and low gas and my bill was 1650.......

TJ has been amazing. We were in a terrible car accident on the 401 outside of Bellville and ended up here. TJ waited for us and stayed after hours to ensure we are looked after, and went above and beyond to sort things with my insurance adjuster on the spot. I can tell you that as far as car rentals go, this is the best customer service I've received. The car he gave us was an upgrade, comfortable enough to get us back to Toronto safely after this terrible experience. I'm thankful people like this exist in the world when you need a helping hand the most.

Tried to get a copy of an invoice 7 months old. Was told to try calling head office. Transferred twice. Same answer. They destroy all records after 6 months. *palm to forehead* But I did confirm with the agent I spoke with, if you don't pay your invoice for 6 months, it just goes away. I was en route to Kingston for a 3 pm tour when I ran into car troubles. At 2 minutes to 2, I went into the Avis. Despite closing at 2, I received friendly helpful service and was on the road in 10 minutes. I would not hesitate to visit this location again.

I recently picked up a rental from Ottawa and drove to Belleville only then to notice the tires were completely bald and I should not have been provided that car to drive. I went into the Belleville location to resolve this issue and TJ (The Agency Operator) was absolutely outstanding. He immediately apologized and noted how unsafe it could have been. He offered me an upgraded model and full tank of gas for no charge. TJ is great and an asset to the Avis brand. Will be recommending this branch to all our contacts.

Highly recommend this tremendous car rental service. TJ and Chris are extremely professional and truly care about making sure your experience is perfect. I have used this specific agency in Belleville approximately 20 times this past year and can safely state that every single time, they have been superb. Recently, when our train was cancelled last minute from Toronto to Belleville, we were struggling to find an alternative way home. With a baby, this was very distressing. After failed attempts with other companies I was VERY happy to get in touch with Avis in Belleville.
