Beautiful view of the lake, although it was -12 °C and all frozen when I first visited it. Very quiet and relaxing. You can see a wonderful sunset ???? from this spot. Nice place for a walk.

Awesome water front. Great for walking, biking or roller blades. Family friendly with 3 washroom facilities. Info center at the south end eside the war memorial. Fish swim hike and the downtown is spectacular with lots of restaurants with patios. Lots of interesting stores.

A nice shaded park to stop and read at, or have a picnic. I find it is usually clean here and there are several picnic tables. Nice views of the lake and the walking path is just below it.

Great place to hang out in summer for swimming and other water sports and winter fun stuff safely of course. Lots of walkers and joggers fishing, kite flying or kite surfing and bike paths to appeal to those that like to keep fit and or just get out of the house to walk with an " in the bubble" family member or bubble mate for some fresh air. Sometimes we grab something to eat and take it down to the park and sit in the car and nibble as we watch people on the ice having their fun. It's a tiny getaway when you can neither afford to and are not allowed to travel in this covid climate at the moment. You make your own fun!
