Pretty cool theater. Seats are not very comfortable. So watching a 2 hour play is a little much on the seats. The downstairs lounge&bar is a nice place to chill while waiting for the show to start or while there's a transition between shows.

Find the seats very uncomfortable. It is hard to sit through show without thinking of leaving to get blood back into my backside. I do not attend a lot of performances here because it is so uncomfortable.

My first experience there was great. It’s a local business and the two gentleman doing the cuts were fanatic. They cut my hair and trims my beard and got a straight shave along my neck for $25. I would definitely recommend.

The Five Points Theater is an absolute must-see. It's not a large venue, but that gives it a cozy feel and the live shows presented here by the local groups are generally well done. The building is very nicely appointed, with the main lobby exhibiting a grand view of Dunlop Street and the Five Corners area, and the staff is wonderful. The lower lobby is very comfortable and houses the washrooms as well as the concession (which does serve beer and wine). The theater may not be very large but it appears to have fairly versatile seating to accommodate a variety of shows. Do yourself a favour and take in a show here, especially if you've never been.

Five Points Theater is a nice spot to catch a bit of culture in Barrie. I was quite surprised that it is as nice as it is. Very comfortable setting, good sound for watching a performance. If you find something to your liking, be sure to support the Arts! It's needed, especially in small cities like Barrie!!
