A small village has a very long history. A famous family has been living on Penetanguishene Rd for over 200 years. A historical plaque was erected in 2006 (not 100% sure) for eighth Premier of Ontario, Charles Drury. The farms beside the road are all managed very well presenting a park style. There are two historic churches. A famous farm market is temporarily closed. The Chappell Farms is well known as a recreational farm.
